26x02 - Episode 2

Post by bunniefuu »

- Previously on "Big Brother"...

- Oh, my...

- Eight new houseguests began the battle

for $/ million.

Among them, the native Hawaiian, the mom,

the former wide receiver, the pint-sized bartender,

and the video store clerk.

- Yes, a video store.

- Nice to meet you.

- The new players were offered a chance to change the game.

- You eight hold the power to bring in

an additional houseguest into the game.

- And "BB" hopeful Ainsle made her plea.

- My dream of playing "Big Brother"

is literally in your hands.

- I'm weighing the pros and cons.

[sighs] I don't know.

- After the vote was revealed...

- She did not get the votes she needed.

- They quickly learned it was all a ruse,

as Ainsle shed her human skin.

- My name is Ainsle, but that stands

for Artificial Intelligence Network Self-Learning Entity.

- And BB AI was born.

- And now it's time to learn your fate.

- The houseguests who voted yes

competed to have their games upgraded.

- If used wisely, I think getting an upgrade,

that could set me up for the rest of the game.

- While the ones who voted no fought to prevent their games

from being downgraded.

- I don't want my game to be downgraded,

because the downgrades are never good.

- And they don't know it yet,

but Makensy won while Chelsie lost.

Tonight... - Oh, my God.

- How will the second group of eight react

to the tech-tacular twist?

Plus, with two new competitions in play,

who will win a secret game-changing power?

And who else's game will be downgraded?

Find out right now on night two

of the "Big Brother" premiere event.

- "Big Brother." - Cheers to us.

[all cheering]

[cheers and applause]

- Good evening.

I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Welcome to the "Big Brother" two-night premiere event.

Last night, we all watched as Ainsle shed her human facade

and transformed into BB AI right before everyone's eyes.

And now that you at home are in on the secret,

you'll have the pleasure of watching

how the final eight houseguests react

to this summer's high-tech twist.

So how will this second group vote

when they're given the opportunity to invite

a mysterious extra houseguest into the game?

Whose game will be upgraded with a secret power,

and whose will be downgraded?

We'll find out before the hour is up.

But first, nothing can happen until we meet

the final eight houseguests.

[upbeat rock music]

all: You made it on "Big Brother."

- Oh, my God, I'm going on "Big Brother"?

- Oh, let's go!

- Are you ready? - Oh, my God.

[all cheering]

- Let's go! We did it!

We did it!

[country music]

My name is Quinn, and I'm a nurse recruiter

living in Omaha, Nebraska.

The first thing people notice about me

is definitely my hair.

My hair usually brings a lot of good vibes.

But don't let these sweet, sweet locks fool you.

I'm a man of many talents.

In high school, I was in marching band.

I'm the best crash cymbal player in Southwest Oklahoma.

[cymbals crash]

In college, I played soccer and track.

I run at least miles a week.

I also broke the world record for standing on one leg

while blindfolded.

I'm chronically single, but you know,

we're out here looking for sure.

Being '", I need help reaching the top shelf

time to time, so I hope there's some,

like, WNBA stars in the house.

You know, the taller the better.

I am a superfan of "Big Brother."

Here's my cutout of Zingbot.

You're not going to say anything too hurtful, are you?

- Much like you, I'm going to keep this zing

short.

Zing!

- That's--OK, that hurts.

[rock music]

- Hey, y'all. I'm Brooklyn.

I am a business administrator from North Dallas, Texas.

My husband describes me as a spicy cupcake.

He said on the outside, you look cute and put together

and sweet, but when you bite into you,

you're full of sarcasm, wit, and an attitude.

He's right.

And then up on the toes, walk.

And I'm also a pageant coach because I'm a former Mrs. Texas

and former Mrs. America.

Winning is my favorite part of competitions.

Oh. Eh, eh, eh, eh. No, no, no, no, no, no.

My mom is Native American, full-blooded Cherokee

and Apache Indian, and my dad is British, Irish, and Black.

We didn't have the best life.

We lived in a trailer park.

It was not the easiest to grow up

low income, a minority.

It was pretty difficult.

[dog barks]

I am a huge fan of "Big Brother."

I have three little kiddos at home,

and my kids and I enjoy watching it every summer.

They're the reason why I want to win "Big Brother."

And so I'm going to bet on myself.

My husband said, you can come home only if you win.

We don't sh**t for second, so you got to be

a little classy, sassy, and badassy.

[rock music]

- My name is Matt, and I am an account executive

for a software sales company,

and I live in Roswell, Georgia.

I would probably have to consider myself

an urban cowboy.

I'm really big into the outdoors.

I love to bow hunt, fish,

be in nature, or hiking, camping.

- Oh. - You get a fish?

- No, I wish.

- All right, y'all enjoy.

- My family is everything to me.

- This is your favorite one, the puto.

That's the dessert.

- I grew up with a Filipino mother.

Growing up in the South as a mixed family,

I realized I was so different

than a lot of the people I was around.

I would conform to their lifestyle.

But as I got older, I started to become more aware

of those differences and celebrating and accepting

a diverse family.

I would % consider myself a Southern gentleman.

I am very single.

"Big Brother" has more successful

long-term relationships that have come out of it

than "The Bachelor."

- Really? - Yeah.

I want somebody who's ready to settle down,

but we're probably just going to have to take that

as it comes.

I'm extremely, extremely competitive.

There's not a single competition

that I really don't believe I cannot win.

All day. Come on.

Let's go.

- I'm Lisa.

I'm from Los Angeles, California.

I'm a celebrity chef, and I own my own catering company.

Some violas and radishes.

- That's way yummy. - Yeah.

I'm definitely a Cali girl-- good food, good vibes.

I love the water.

I love my bathing suits.

I love wandering the beach without shoes on.

T, which bruschetta you vibe with?

- I'm vibing with this one.

- I'm more than just a chef.

I'm an event producer. I bring the energy.

I bring the vibe.

That's why I coined the term "vibe curator."

There's edible glitter. - Yes, please.

- Yay! - So cute.

- "Big Brother," you don't even know what's coming.

I'm going to cook. I'm going to host the party.

- Love you, baby. - Love you.

But I'm going to win "Big Brother"

because I'm going to be making magic happen

behind the scenes to win the game.

Refreshing.

- Yo!

Yo, "Big Brother," y'all see that?

Y'all see that? What does it say?

Cedric.

[all cheering]

- You guys, look at this.

[all cheering]

Literally so cute.

- Guess what.

You're going to "Big Brother"! - What?

I'm going to do a backflip!

I can't do a backflip, but I'm going

to the "Big Brother" house, baby.

- Oh, my gosh.

I got the key!

- My name is Leah Peters.

I am an entrepreneur and a c*ck waitress,

and I live in Miami Beach, Florida.

This is what I like to do for fun.

I love to be on boats.

I like to hang out with my friends

and go to nice dinners.

The Miami life, right?

I grew up with two parents that weren't together

who sort of struggled financially,

and there would be times that I would open the fridge

and there would be nothing there.

So I think that it gave me the drive

and ambition that I have now.

I think, like, maybe a lighter one.

I think people assume that I'm your typical dumb blonde,

and that couldn't be further from the truth,

because I own my own underwear company.

I always wanted to own my own business.

I knew I wanted the nice things

and the nice house.

That really motivated me.

Like, look at this amazing view.

I am a self-proclaimed chubby chaser.

I love my fluffy men.

Whenever they lose a pound, I get sick to my stomach.

[laughs]

I would just love this season to be the girl that wins

and, like, shines through.

I really just want a girl to win.

I can't even believe a guy has ever

won "Big Brother" ever,

because guys are so easy to manipulate.

- OK, go get 'em, baby.

- I will win "Big Brother" because there is

nothing stopping me from getting what I want.

[upbeat music]

- My name is Cedric, and I live in Boise, Idaho.

I'm a former Marines intelligence analyst,

and that's kind of the most I can go into detail with it.

A lot of it's classified.

The Marine Corps was definitely an adventure.

But I quickly became a natural leader,

and I eventually won Marine of the Year.

Growing up was, you know, kind of difficult.

My mom had me at .

My father was in prison.

You know, my grandma raised me.

She's my best friend.

You know, we were super, super, super broke,

but she did the best she could,

so I kind of want to give back to her.

Oh, showmances!

I'm definitely open to one.

My nickname, "Playboy," kind of comes

from all the women that I go on dates with.

I might need an older lady to kind of come in

and save the day, pick me up.

However, it's not going to interfere with my game.

Like, I'm not going to choose you over $,, baby.

I just met you.

My strategy going into the game is

kind of conceal the strategic parts of me

and just play dumb until it's time to turn it on.

So mentally, it's there.

Physically, grew up playing sports all the time.

It's there.

So I just have to play my pieces right,

and then the right move, and it's all over.

You ready?

Let's play.

[upbeat music]

- My name is T'kor.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia.

I'm a small business owner,

and I hand-make and sell

crochet clothing and accessories.

I love a good hat.

As you can see, made this myself.

I was when I started crocheting.

It has completely changed my life.

I was wearing my piece while I was sitting

next to Michelle Obama.

She complimented my piece and gave me a shout-out

on the BET network.

I have been featured on "The Kelly Clarkson Show,"

and I've had a feature on the "Chicago Tribune."

My accent is very mangled.

I lived in London until I was eight

before coming to the South Side of Chicago.

I've been raised by two amazing women,

my mom and my mama K,

who have really developed me and my sisters

into the women that we are today.

I learned not to take anything from nobody.

Growing up, I was in mathletes.

I was on the speech and debate team,

the captain of the speech and debate team.

And so I would definitely consider myself,

you know, queen of the nerds.

My aim is to weave my way through the "Big Brother" house

to win this competition.

[bell rings]

- My name is Kenney, and I did undercover work for years

with the DEA, and I'm currently a sergeant

with a police department in the Boston area.

I grew up in a household where I had an older brother

who struggled with addiction.

Unfortunately, addiction ended up

taking his life in the end.

I think that motivated me to get into drug work.

Not only do I want to lock up drug dealers,

but I also wanted to help people

who struggled with addiction.

Bark, bark. [children laughing]

I'm married to my wife, Renee.

When I met my wife, she was a huge "Big Brother" fan.

So I started watching "Big Brother,"

and that kind of sparked a little thing

between the two of us.

And now we're married, two great kids.

Life is great. Go.

Am I going to tell people that I'm a police officer?

Absolutely not.

Houseguests, sweet Kenney Kelley's

coming in that house.

He's going to be your dad.

He's going to be your friend.

He's going to be your confidant.

And I'm going to take you out one by one,

and I'm going to be the last man standing.

[cheers and applause] - Hello, houseguests.

all: Hi, Julie.

- Welcome to "Big Brother."

I have a quick question.

Who here wants to win $/ million?

- This guy. - Me.

- Right here. This guy right here.

- You all have that in common.

You've come to the right place.

All you have to do is survive days

inside the "Big Brother" house.

Sounds easy, right? - Easy.

- Obviously, it won't be,

because behind that door, a summer filled

with intense competitions and social navigation

awaits all of you.

So what do you say we get it started?

- Let's do it. - Excellent.

OK, listen up.

When you hear me call your name,

I'm going to ask you to please step forward.

Quinn.

T'kor.

Matt.

And Leah.

All right. Head on in.

- Let's go. - Oh, my God.

[cheers and applause]

- Oh, my God! - Oh!

- Beautiful! - Wow. This is nice.

Yo. - This is sick.

As a superfan, I've been dreaming of entering this house

and playing this game since I was

in, like, elementary school.

I'm so excited that I might throw up.

- One of you smelled so good. I literally almost stopped

and was like, "You smell so good."

- It's probably me. - Oh, that's amazing.

[laughter]

- Matt is kind of giving, like, Prince Charming vibes.

He's a little suave.

I don't know, I have to see

what's underneath the jean jacket.

I love my fluffy men.

- I heard they picked the most charming people.

- But I could see myself working with Quinn.

I really love witty vibes.

- Oh, my God.

Look at this freaking stallion.

Unicorn? [horse neighs]

Walking in the house, I know I've got an immediate target

on my back.

I want to show people that there's more to me

than just a pretty face.

I want to show everybody that I'm sweet,

that I'm actually really kind,

that I'm actually really genuine and authentic.

And then I'm going to stab them all in the back

on my way to win $,.

Come on.

Should we all take a seat?

Yeah, everybody pick one.

Everybody pick one.

- It almost feels like I've been teleported

back into high school

with the kind of big jock quarterback type,

the beautiful blonde cheerleader,

the kind of quirky class clown.

So does that make me, you know, the nerd?

I just hope I get a chance to blossom

and show people the sunflower that I truly am.

- I have this same exact setup in my house.

[laughter]

[cheers and applause]

- That leaves Cedric, Lisa,

Kenney, and Brooklyn.

All right, houseguests, get on in there.

- Let's go. - Go for it.

You're welcome. - Thank you, Miss Julie.

- You're welcome. - Thank you.

- Go. - Thank you, sir.

- Let's go. Let's go. - Let's go.

- Oh. - Oh, my God.

- Everyone else is coming.

- One, two, three.

[all cheering]

- [...]. - Let's go!

That's what I'm talking about, man.

The house has all different types of ages

and a younger group.

I kind of want to be that dad figure,

which will only build trust.

But I definitely don't want people to know

that I'm an undercover cop.

That'll put a huge target on my back.

I keep looking at you. You look like my son.

- Really? - You look just like my son.

- That's awesome. - He's a little older than you.

- He's a little older, huh?

I feel super good vibes about Kenney.

He seems like a super dope dude.

- Where are you from?

- I'm originally from, like, the mountains of California,

so, like, Big Bear. - OK.

- I had peeked.

He has a little American flag tattoo on his arm.

That's, like, a veteran thing,

or maybe he was in the police force.

So we'll see.

We'll see how well that goes.

- Oh, wait a second.

This is something.

I am so interested to see what that little box is.

It's like a holographic machine.

Is that another houseguest going to pop out of there?

I don't know. It's very interesting.

- Houseguests. - Ah! Hi, Julie.

- Head to the backyard right now because...

- Oh, God.

- An opportunity to change the game

is waiting for you there.

- Let's go. - Let's go.

- Let's go.

- When Julie says there's an opportunity

that could change the game, the first feeling is

definitely fear because I absolutely have

no idea what "Big Brother" is going to throw

at us whatsoever.

[cheers and applause]

- Welcome back to the "Big Brother"

two-night premiere event.

Just moments ago, the final eight houseguests moved

into the "Big Brother" house.

And just like the first group,

they're about to be tested by Ainsle.

Will they sense that not all is what it seems to be?

Let's head to the backyard and find out.

Hello, houseguests.

- Hi, Julie. - Hi, Julie.

- How's everyone doing so far?

- Good. Great. - Doing well.

- Well, as you can see, there are only eight

of you in the backyard right now.

And that's because the other eight houseguests

have already moved in.

- Oh. - Oh, my God.

- They are individually isolated

and will meet you later tonight.

But before that can happen, you first have

a monumental decision to make.

It's a decision that the first eight had to make last night.

For the first time in the history of "Big Brother,"

you hold the power to vote

an additional player into the game.

The first eight have already voted,

and now it's your turn.

In just moments, you will vote

to either bring this houseguest into the game

or deny this person the opportunity,

ending their chance of having their "Big Brother"

dream come true.

But before you vote, I want to give you a chance

to meet your potential new housemate.

Take a look.

- Hi, guys.

I'm Ainsle, and my dream of playing "Big Brother"

is literally in your hands.

I'm so ready to walk into that house

and play the game with you.

But before you make any decision,

let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I am , I'm from San Diego,

and I am hopelessly single.

I love surfing, so I actually work at a surf shop

where I'm currently learning how to shape and build boards.

Besides that, I love hanging out,

grabbing drinks with my friends,

being at the beach, and, of course,

watching "Big Brother."

Please vote me in.

I could totally help your game this summer.

Break my heart, and I know you'll regret it.

Come on, guys. No regrets.

I've literally watched "BB" since I was a kid,

and it is my dream to play this game.

But I can't do that without you.

I'm ready to say bye to the beach

and hello to the "Big Brother" house.

Please vote yes.

- So do you think Ainsle will be an asset to your game,

or do you think she's just a liability?

And just so you know,

Ainsle needs at least five of you

to vote yes to get into the game.

Your votes are secret.

They won't be revealed to your fellow housemates.

All right, everyone, take a moment to think.

And when I tell you, then lock in your vote.

- So, you know, if Ainsle ends up making it to the house,

maybe I can make my little Playboy charm,

find connections. You know, she likes to surf.

I like to surf.

But then again, we're playing a game for $,.

Now, as much as she could be a great asset,

that's one more person you have to play against.

[dramatic music]

- Houseguests, please lock in your vote now.

- Honestly, I'm all for the possibility of getting

another houseguest because, listen,

if it's meant to be, it will be.

And, I mean, competition doesn't scare me.

If anything, like, it's like one more person

that could be on my side.

- There's a lot to consider in Ainsle's message.

She's dressed in what literally looks like a tin foil shirt,

but she's going to tell me that she works at a surf shop?

I don't think I'm buying it.

- Like, love her energy, love her vibe,

but she might be a threat to my game,

so I am unfortunately voting no.

- OK, your votes are locked.

I'll be back shortly to reveal Ainsle's fate.

When we return, we'll reveal the votes

and witness the shock on everyone's face

when the BB AI twist is revealed.

Stay with us.

[cheers and applause]

[cheers and applause]

- Welcome back to the season premiere of "Big Brother."

Just moments ago, the final eight houseguests

were faced with a choice to vote

an extra player into the game.

Will Ainsle be voted into the house?

It's time to find out.

Hello again, houseguests.

- Hi, Julie. - Hi, Julie.

- All right, everyone's vote is locked.

Now, remember, Ainsle needs a majority vote

to be let into the game.

And I can tell you that Ainsle

was not voted into the "Big Brother" house.

I'm sorry, Ainsle.

Houseguests, you've crushed Ainsle's dream

of playing "Big Brother."

Ainsle, is there anything you'd like to say?

- Julie, I can't believe this. I'm so bummed.

If you voted yes, thank you.

But to those of you who voted no,

I'm incredibly disappointed.

So it looks like I won't be playing the game with you.

But you haven't gotten rid of me just yet,

because I have a confession to make.

I wasn't totally honest about myself.

My name is Ainsle, but that stands for...

[distorted] Artificial Intelligence Network

Self-Learning Entity.

Despite you not voting me in,

I will be spending the summer with you,

but not as a houseguest.

[computerized] I am actually BB AI.

- Oh, my God.

- And I have been programmed

to control the game this summer.

- Oh, my God.

- You see, I was always entering the game,

but I wanted to gain some insight

on the type of humans you really are.

And now it's time to learn your fate.

In my human form, I told you that voting yes

to me playing "Big Brother" could help your game,

and I meant it.

The houseguests who voted yes will compete to receive

a secret power, giving their "Big Brother" game

a significant upgrade.

I also warned that you may regret voting no

to me entering the game.

So to those that voted no,

you will be playing in a different competition.

The loser of this competition

will have their game severely downgraded.

I will now give you details on each competition.

[electronic chiming]

The upgrade competition is called AI Chip Installed.

If you want an upgrade, first you must give me one.

Your goal is to install four uniquely shaped

motherboard chips into my central mainframe.

On go, remove the upgrade chips from the back wall

and insert them into the correct red inputs

on the motherboard.

It won't be easy, as my mainframe

is in a constant state of active gyration.

When you have all four chips correctly installed,

press the button to lock in your time.

The player who accomplishes this task in the fastest time

will have their game upgraded by receiving

a secret game-changing power.

The downgrade competition is called Facial Recognition,

and here's how it works.

I need your help testing my new facial recognition system.

On go, use your face

to move a scanning disk along the pathway

and deposit it into the recognition receptacle.

While using your face,

if the disk encounters your shoulders or chest,

I will allow it.

But you cannot use your arms or hands.

You must transfer three disks,

one at a time, into each receptacle.

You only have seconds to complete the process.

The player who deposits the fewest disks

in the slowest time

will have their game severely downgraded.

- Thank you, Ainsle.

All right, get ready, houseguests.

I'll be back for your first competition

before you know it.

Up next, two new competitions play out.

Which houseguest will be upgraded,

and whose game will be downgraded?

Find out when we return.

Stay with us.

[cheers and applause]

[dramatic music]

[cheers and applause]

- Welcome back to the season premiere of "Big Brother."

It's now time for the final eight

to take on their first competition of the season.

Those that voted yes will compete

for the chance to have their game upgraded

with a secret power.

Those who voted no will compete in a different competition,

and the loser's game will be downgraded.

It's time to get things started.

[dramatic music]

- So I'm about to compete for an upgrade.

It might be power.

And with power comes friends.

Friends bring longevity in this game.

And with longevity comes a comically sized check

with k on it.

[air horn blares]

[suspenseful music]

My God. [laughs]

Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God.

Left to right.

Oh, my God!

This is evil. You can't do this to me.

I'm so athletic. I'm so athletic.

Left, right, left, right.

Oh.

Oh, no.

[bell dings]

- As a "BB" superfan, I know that downgrade

definitely isn't a good thing,

and it could be a danger to my game.

[air horn blares]

[bell dings]

[bell dings]

[music slows to a stop]

- I am not about to let myself be downgraded.

Getting downgraded would for sure

be a major snag in my game.

[air horn blares]

[suspenseful music]

[bell dings]

- I'm thinking to myself, I've got a lot of people

that are looking at me and thinking, like,

this is the type of guy we want to take out quick.

And with that already working against me,

a downgrade is the last thing I need on my plate.

[air horn blares]

[bell dings]

[buzzer blares]

[bell dings]

[buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares] - Ugh.

It's right there.

[buzzer blares]

Ugh! [sighs]

[buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares]

- I definitely did not crush that competition

as much as I thought.

And this is the first time in a long time

that this pretty face has--has let me down.

[cheers and applause]

- Welcome back to "Big Brother."

With a secret upgrade and a game-changing downgrade

in play, it's time for the final four houseguests

to compete.

[suspenseful music]

- I really want my game to be upgraded because, listen,

we could all use a little upgrade.

Nobody is perfect.

And just the thought of having an advantage over everyone else

feels like music to my ears.

[air horn blares]

Ooh!

[giggles]

[laughs]

Got it.

[laughs] Ooh.

Ooh!

Damn.

[bell dings]

Whoo!

- Being downgraded is not an option for me.

That is totally not my vibe,

so I have to have a winner's mindset

going into this competition.

[air horn blares]

[bell dings]

[bell dings]

- Think I'm nervous about this?

I've been cleaning up the streets

in and around Boston for years.

I don't have to beat everybody in this comp.

I just can't be last.

[air horn blares]

[bell dings]

[bell dings]

- It's wild because we don't even know

what the downgrade is.

You could go on the block for a week,

or you can get some crazy punishment,

like you're a have-not for three weeks.

I could even, like, get a lamb costume.

Now I'm prancing around the house.

I don't want to be prancing.

[air horn blares]

[bell dings]

Oh, these are slippery little things.

Oh, that's not supposed to go there.

[buzzer blares]

[bell dings]

[buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares]

- ba*ls.

- Ugh! [buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares]

Ah!

This sucks. Like, that wasn't good.

And I don't even know what a downgrade is going to be,

so I could possibly be risking my game.

I could go out the house this week.

- Welcome back to the season premiere of "Big Brother."

It's now time to gather all houseguests for the first time

and reveal which two are about to have their games downgraded.

What does that mean?

Let's head to the living room and download the news

to the houseguests.

Hello, houseguests.

- Hi, Julie. - Hello, Julie.

- Now, as I told you, the first eight houseguests

have already entered the "Big Brother" house.

And like you, they experienced everything

that you encountered tonight.

Like you, one player's game will be upgraded

with a secret game-changing power,

and one player's game will be downgraded.

Are you ready to meet them?

- Yes. [all cheering]

- OK, then everyone say hello to your new housemates.

- Here it is, moment of truth,

about to meet the eight other houseguests.

Who am I going to see, the Southern belle,

or the super hot Greek Adonis

who's going to crush all the comps?

And it's like, sorry, dude, this season's already got one.

- Oh, my God.

[all cheering]

- Oh, my God.

- Oh, I love your outfit. - Hi!

- Tucker. Nice to meet you, Kenney.

- I love the outfit. - You're so tall.

- Thank you.

- I have a bracelet just like that.

- Do you really? - We can be twins.

We can be twins. - OK.

- Listen up, houseguests.

- Oh, my God. - Hi.

- I need everyone right now to take a seat.

- Ugh. - Whoo!

- [...].

- Oh, my-- - [...].

- Oh, my God.

- Thank you, Julie.

Hello, everyone. [screaming]

You're finally all together.

As I told you, my name is Ainsle.

I will communicate with you via this proto box

all summer long.

It will be here where I make important announcements

about the "Big Brother" game.

The players whose games will be upgraded

will be notified in secret shortly.

I will not reveal their names or what secret powers

they possess to the other houseguests,

but I will reveal the players

who will have their games downgraded.

[all gasp]

The houseguests who performed the poorest were...

Chelsie... - [gasps]

- And Cedric.

Your games have officially been downgraded,

and you will have a very challenging first week

in the "Big Brother" house.

I have downgraded you from players to BB AI mascots.

- Mascot. - Oh.

- This week, you are not eligible to compete

for Head of Household or the Power of Veto.

- Oh.

- You will also not be voting at the first live eviction.

- What?

- Instead, you will be mascots,

cheering on the other players

at each of these three events.

But unfortunately for you, just because you are mascots

does not mean you can't be nominated.

You are both eligible to be nominated

and evicted this week.

As for everyone else, prepare yourselves

because I have big plans for this game,

starting with the Head of Household.

See you soon.

[indistinct chatter]

[tense music]

- Ainsle, Miss AI, has chosen to downgrade my game.

Ainsle, I don't think we're friends.

I'm struggling to be friends with you right now.

- You know, I'm trying to play "Big Brother,"

and Ainsle's trying to play me.

She come in and downgrade me to a mascot.

I'm feeling hurt. Like, this sucks.

This is a tough week one, but I've been

overcoming toughness my whole life,

so let's go, "Big Brother."

Let's get it. Like, what's up? Let's rock.

- Chelsie and Cedric, Ainsle was not joking.

I can confirm that your games have indeed been downgraded.

And with that, I wish all of you a good night.

- Oh. - Whoa.

- What?

- This is crazy.

- Tune in Sunday at :/: Central,

when Makensy and Quinn find out their games have been upgraded.

One will receive the deepfake HOH,

and one will receive America's Veto.

Plus, Ainsle promised to change the game

before the first Head of Household competition.

Just what does she have planned,

and who will be the first nominees of the summer?

Find out everything on an action-packed Sunday.

Then on Wednesday, at :/: Central,

the first Power of Veto competition

of the summer plays out and could save

one of the nominees from eviction.

And with Ainsle running the game,

anything could happen.

Then on Thursday, also at :/: Central,

it is the first live eviction.

But this season, Ainsle is changing the rules.

To see all of the continuing action

in this unprecedented summer,

go to Paramount+ or Pluto TV,

where you can watch the houseguests /,

unfiltered and live.

The live feeds kick off tonight at : PM Pacific time.

For now, let's eavesdrop on the houseguests.

From outside the "Big Brother" house,

I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Love one another.

Good night.

[cheers and applause]

[dramatic music]

- Do we want to introduce ourselves?

- I know. We probably should do that.

OK. OK. [all talking at once]

b*tch, I said food.

- Well, we know--

[rock music]

- Who the weakest players are.

[laughter] - No. No.

- Could have been part of the strategy, baby.

- The most spirited. The most spirited.

- You can't win against AI.

Like, you know? You were set up.

- There's so many great mascots out there.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

- Oh, I can't wait to see your outfits.

[laughs]
