," Marvin became the second Head

of Household and panic spread.

I think Lori's sweating it, and I think

possibly Diane's sweating it.

Holly's kind of sweating it.

Marvin might do anything.

NARRATOR: The four horsemen began a temporary alliance

with Marvin, while Lori, Will, and Karen felt

their alliance was in jeopardy.

These boys in the house-- they really are going to try to work

a number over on Martin.

NARRATOR: Twins Adria and Natalie

pulled off another switch, and the houseguests

were none the wiser.

- What town is it? - Uh--

Illinois.

Decatur and [inaudible].

Yeah, Decatur.

I'm glad that we've gotten this far.

It does get harder and harder every time.

NARRATOR: The four horsemen thought they called the shots.

The four horsemen control everything in this house.

If you put Karen up, we can dissuade Holly,

and that's five.

NARRATOR: But not everyone fell in line.

We're going to really need your vote.

I don't know if I will.

NARRATOR: At the nomination ceremony,

Lori and Holly were put up for eviction, pitting the horseman

against the girls' alliance.

If you leave now, you'll still make more than most people

[inaudible] to the top three.

Holly, I thought Jase was one of the strongest

players in the game.

And to exert the type of influence you've had over him--

you're charming and witty.

NARRATOR: Who will win the Power of Veto,

As you can see, my nominations are Lori and Holly for the--

Lori, I nominated you because I consider you the strongest

player in the game, but think you

very influential with the men and the women.

And when playing chess, just like I said,

you try to eliminate the queen first.

And I think two of you guys are considered queens in this game.

The ceremony is concluded.

To get nominated is tough, you know.

It's just a bad feeling.

I believe that I did get nominated

because I think it all started day one-- taking the money.

I'm going to take the money, Julie.

I thought that I was going to be able to get

away with taking the money.

And clearly, I was not.

Lori-- she has charisma, she's beautiful, she has talent.

And on top of that, she's already won $ grand.

Holly-- I saw the influence she exerted upon Jase.

As far as the two nominees, Holly--

she really trusts myself and Scott.

Lori's a threat in this house.

Lori is a gamer, and Lori's got a good group of allies.

OK, what's the game planned?

Ultimate goal right from this point on out

is to get Holly out of the house.

You'll talk to them.

You'll be like, who do we want to help?

They'll say, Lori.

You'll be like, OK, I think I can get an [inaudible]..

That way, they think they're totally safe.

We will lead everybody else to believe that we will help them

vote Lori out, when really we'll just switch

our vote at the last minute.

I can just get a vibe that she just might be out to get me,

By having her on our side, that's

the fifth vote that we need, and that would get Lori out.

Uh, of course, we're going to take Lori out.

She goes, listen, we're going to need your vote.

That's one of those things--

you know, we want-- we want to control your vote.

But you don't have any say so, and you

don't have any knowledge of what's going on.

And I do not fly with that--

at all, at all.

You know what I mean?

Like, let them wonder.

Let them question each other about the vote.

Let them not know who voted who.

Because then-- then when Holly goes, we can go--

like, one of us can go, I voted for Lori.

And they'll finger each other.

They'll want to know who's lying.

What we're doing right now is called

Operation Security Blanket.

It's going to take five votes for Lori to stay in the house.

The boys have four.

All they need is one more vote to keep Holly in the house.

So we're going to, hopefully, lull them into this false sense

of security, and then rip it right out

from under their ignorant feet.

This is going to be one of the sweetest operations

in "Big Brother' history.

You know what we're doing, right?

OK, we're giving them--

we're calling this Operation Security Blanket.

Diane is going to act like Scott [inaudible] vote you off.

And then she's going to say, well, I think we can get Nick.

Operation Security Blanket--

Adria, Diane, Will, Karen and Nick--

are going to tell all the boys that they are on their side,

that they're going to vote me out unanimously.

Then, you know, we're going to surprise

them on the day of eviction.

And Holly will be the one that will be evicted.

This has gotten into girls versus boys.

I know.

Very cool.

Veto's really important.

I'm going to try and win it.

I want to win it so that Holly doesn't win it,

and takes herself off, and they put someone else up against me.

If Holly stays, then next week they get into power,

they're going to pick us off one by one.

We all realize that, and we're beating them at their own game.

And they have no idea.

God, I'd love the Drew.

Drew is like scent from heaven.

I don't even know if they make men like him on the earth.

I think I talk about Drew all the time.

I have to agree with the rest of the girls

My dreams just kept flipping back and forth between you

and Scott, but mostly you.

I had, like, strange dreams about you.

There could be sparks flying there,

it didn't surprise me.

As much as I didn't like Holly in the first week,

you know, how he rolls up in the clubs, and all the girls go,

Everybody is looking at you, and you

act like you don't see anybody.

The kid looks in the mirror at least times a day,

like he can't get enough of himself.

That, to me, is a meathead.

I guess I try to remind myself every day,

and that's the way to live it--

some big twist that's going on?

But I don't think that I could chill in the same room

by myself with him for an extended amount of time,

just because we have, like, nothing in common.

and the more that he is influenced

by the guys in this house, I can't stand to be around him.

The switch is always a tricky measure between both of us.

Our goal is to make it to the five weeks,

and if we do that, then both of us

get to come into the "Big Brother" house,

and the twist is revealed to the houseguests.

Basically, I came in the house after here.

And I went in, and I just started cleaning up.

I got very busy that day.

I was just really busy, and everybody's like, man,

you're a maniac today.

And you know what? It's Saturday.

I've just got to--

I've got to Goth something done today, you know?

I just really want to be really productive.

So I didn't really talk a whole lot with everybody.

- That's good. - You know what I'm saying?

So I just stayed busy.

It's a crazy, crazy job.

It's not easy.

For one thing, it's very, very hard for us

because we're always trying to go / on trying to keep

things cool on our identity.

So it's very hard for us to not let our own personalities

out in the "Big Brother" house.

Yeah, we've got the utmost confidence in each other

that we can cover pretty much any situation.

And we will never, ever reveal the real truth

until the twist is revealed.

Houseguests, it's time to choose the players

for the Veto competition.

As you know from the previous Veto competition,

only six will participate in the competition.

Those six are myself, Head of Household,

and the two nominees, Lori and Holly, and three

other players of our choosing.

As HOH, I will pick first.

And I choose pretty boy Drew.

I didn't know what type of game it would be,

if it was an intuitive game or physical game.

So I tried to pick a person who I thought

I could trust the most, and that was pretty boy

from the buckeye state, Drew.

Lori, you get to choose first.

Who do you choose?

I choose Karen.

I chose Karen because anyone I chose

was going to keep the Veto as is and not use it.

Holly, who do you choose for your partner?

Jase.

I picked Jase to compete in the game

because he's a strong player, and I felt that he

could take me off the block.

Since I'm competing in the competition as the HOH,

I'm going to need somebody to read the rules

and be the host for this game.

So I'm going to delegate that responsibility to Will.

All right, guys, it's time for the Veto competition.

Let's head on out.

So we walk outside and, we see this giant field

with about four different partitions and ropes,

all tangled up in a serious knot.

The new Golden Veto is again up

for grabs in our next competition

called Snag the Veto.

But before you can snag the Veto,

you must unsnag your rope.

In front of you, you each have a rope with a colored Veto ring.

You also have four walls in front of you.

Your rope passes through one slot in each of these walls.

The object is to untangle your rope

and pull your rope through these slots,

thereby passing the ring through all four walls.

Once you have pulled all of your rope

completely through the final wall,

pull the ring through and run it to the post.

The person with the first ring at the bottom of the post

will win the Power of Veto.

This really isn't going to be a male/female dominated

physical type of challenge.

It's going to be who is strategical enough

to realize the best way to wiggle your robe free.

And then once you wiggle it free,

to pull it through the hole fast enough without having

any kinks in the rope.

On your mark, get set, and go!

[yelling and cheering]

As soon as Will said go, it just turned to chaos.

Focus-- come on!

It was really hard because we were

all, like, interchanging and stuff,

which was really complicated.

You know, I've rolled up a lot of fire hose,

and I thought that if I could get

the jump on everyone through the first-- the second area--

then I'm kind of clean, and I get

to squeak through there without the hassle

of the other three people.

I could see that the best strategy was one

that I think I saw Jase using.

And that was, as you get your rope free,

you loop it around your hand.

The players that were working against each other

would communicate in a very annoyed and frustrated tone.

Hang on.

Hang-- turn yours in a bundle all up,

you're not going to be able to get it through.

I felt pretty good until I ran into that arrogant SOB, Jase.

He encompasses you like a disease.

Holly, Holly.

Lori was still money.

She was right there with me the whole time.

And I was like, dang, this girl's hauling.

It was all about digging down deep

and just trying to get it done.

The entire time, I saw James ahead of me,

and I tried so hard.

We're tangled. Dude, let me through.

Let me through. Let me through.

I think we both knew that one of us had to win it.

So at one point, we just had to work together

to figure out who was closest.

Good.

Good! Queen.

Queen.

I just saw Jase, just a little bit in front of me.

[applause]

I'm super proud of Jase.

I think Jase is a great competitor.

Whoo!

And the power of the Golden Veto goes to Jase!

Jase, good job, baby.

I'm getting really frustrated because I

keep coming in like second in these competitions.

And this one was more important to me

because then I have the power to make the decision

that I want to make.

Of all the scenarios possible, you know,

this was one of the ones that I knew

was going to be the biggest blow to my personal safety

and the safety of the people I care about.

I kind of became the rope, like I--

my full body.

The worst case scenario-- the only

thing I didn't want to happen.

We're going to lose, like, somebody

who is a really good player.

We're going to keep the thing in this house.

And I know that Jase is such a--

just such a-- such a twit.

He's going to take her off.

And then they're going to put somebody else good up,

like Will, or A, or Nick, or somebody

else who doesn't deserve to go.

Yeah, I've got to talk to privately, Jase--

in my mind.

Scott and Jase-- they're, like, glued at the hip.

And I'm just trying to keep, you know, a low profile,

move around, but also be very involved.

And that's kind of been my strategy.

We don't know if we can trust you yet.

We're just talking about the Veto stuff, how we could really

shake the house right now.

You obviously see an alliance in the house now, right?

I see a lot of stuff going on.

I just don't know what's going on.

Will, Lori, and Karen are together.

Well, I mean, that's obvious.

It's obvious.

We're going to take Holly out and put Karen up.

Even if Lori stayed, it will split them up.

And that's that.

I feel really good about where we're at right now.

We can't let it leak.

The less people that know about things

around here, the better.

So it's either Will or Karen, but probably

we know what has to go down.

Lori, and Karen, and Will are obviously together.

We've got to split up that alliance, period.

Lori's the key player.

She's the brains behind it.

If we take Holly off, I'll put up Karen,

and that will take away a vote from Lori.

I want Lori to go first.

But if Karen went, whoo, who cares?

If Lori snips off this noose because she's the most popular

player in the game, I'm toast.

The main thing was it was Lori's power base and stuff.

And if I can kind of erode that-- if Lori stay in this,

she's going to win it, and that's all there is to it.

But we take one of them three little pieces out

of the pod out of there, and it's just two.

We need to make another enemy in the house and piss somebody

else off.

But that's part of the game.

I feel that people like me enough in the house

and know that Lori is fine with leaving.

Hopefully, they will vote my way and maybe

throw her a vote or something, you

know, to make her feel good.

She thinks that she can win this game and stay in his house

by being everyone's friend.

I just want you to be careful, Jase.

I want you to do what you think you want to do.

I'm not going to tell you what to do.

Look, all I'm saying is Lori has allies in this house.

Definitely, him not using the veto

might be a better option because I think my chances are OK.

I don't want to be mugged.

I'm making to break up a strong alliance.

The thing that bothers me about being up against Karen

is that now she's in danger, and it's because she's my ally.

But he put us in a tough spot, and I

feel really bad that it's her.

If the "Big Brother" gods are going to shine down on us,

then we will win HOH next week.

I don't know how we're going to pull it out.
