Nakomis made her decision clear.

I nominated Michael and Drew for eviction.

NARRATOR: But she made a promise to her brother.

I just want to tell you that if it does come to a tie,

you won't leave.

NARRATOR: Diane feared that Nakomis' and Karen's loyalty

was only to each other.

I don't have a commitment with Diane.

NARRATOR: So she joined forces with the boys.

I will try my best to keep both of you here.

Michael, Drew, and Diane worked together

to keep their plan on track.

JULIE: Good evening.

I'm Julie Chen.

Welcome to Big Brother .

It's day inside the Big Brother house.

And with less than two weeks to go until finale night,

the five remaining houseguests are closer than ever to

the half-million-dollar prize.

Tonight, Karen, the portrait artist from New Jersey

and Michael, the security officer from Oklahoma,

are up for eviction.

Only two houseguests, Drew and Diane, will cast their votes

and evict live.

If there is a tie, Nakomis, the current Head of Household,

will cast the deciding vote.

Tonight's evicted houseguests will sit on the Big Brother

jury that decides the winner.

But first, Diane has double-crossed the girl

alliance by forming a partnership

with Drew and Michael and conceiving

a plan to evict Karen.

Will it work?

I do choose to exercise the power of my veto.

And I choose to save you, Drew.

So-- [inaudible].

Karen, I'm going to have to hug

you up onto the green block.

The plan this week goes like this.

I saved Drew, and that put Karen on the block next to Cowboy.

Two people are voting for eviction this week,

Drew and myself.

I am sitting kind of pretty in the house with everybody

on my side right now.

By the way, I'm not, like, freaked out or anything.

So nothing, to my knowledge, is changing.

I know Drew will vote the way he's said.

So the worst-case scenario, is she's

going to have to vote him out.

Yeah.

They've known each other for two months.

He can't take it too heartfelt, you know.

He can't take it too personally.

So--

Whatever, I trust the [muted] out of you.

[music playing]

I was sitting out here by myself sulking.

Am I the back door?

That's so undignified.

I don't think that they will.

I don't either.

But you know what?

I didn't think that they'd use the veto either.

She made a commitment to me and you, Final Four.

And Drew probably made that commitment

to Cowboy, Final Four.

So she wants to prove to Drew that she'll

do anything he wants.

So she's going to go with his Final Four

instead of our Final Four.

And if you don't believe that, you're naive,

and I know you're not.

If there's a tie, then there's a tie and Cowboy will live.

The only thing that makes me nervous

is that I told Cowboy previously that I would

break the tie in his favor.

But I'm not able to now because why would I want to keep Cowboy

when Karen's on the block and I'll

have a better chance of staying in the house if Karen's here?

I hope it comes to a tie so that Cowboy can look at me all c*ck

and I can say, Cowboy, I'm sorry but you're out.

If Drew said he was voting out Cowboy right now,

I would believe it.

I don't think that you'll be leaving.

Diane wants Cowboy gone.

Yeah, I know.

I know.

I'll be natural this week and trust you %.

We can tell Karen exactly what she needs to hear.

And she'll have one minute to realize that [muted]

just changed.

Right.

And at one time, I wanted to go with my sister.

But she's plotting to get me out this week.

We never know what's going to happen

in the Big Brother house.

Right.

I'm pretty worried about Diane.

I'm kind of scared and Cowboy's scared that Nakomis and Karen

are just going to corner Diane and just sh**t at her

to see what Diane will say.

The vote's going to be-- if it's not unanimous,

it's going to be a tie.

So I really don't think there's anything to worry about.

Listen.

This is what I told her.

Trust me when I say if the votes are not unanimous, then

it's going to be a tie.

And she's going to break the tie.

It's the only way.

It's the only way it's going to work.

Who's dealing?

If the vote is tied up, I know that Nic would

put Cowboy out of the house.

Absolutely.

She would hate to do it, but she would do it.

Nic needs Karen around.

That is her alliance.

[music playing]

Do you believe her?

I mean, do you think she would lie that good to our faces?

I don't think she wants Cowboy here.

I didn't want you to have to break a tie.

I don't think I will, but if I have to, I have to.

Diane looked me in the face today and said,

you know, you'll be fine.

But you know, she could be lying to me.

I don't think Diane could pull off a bold-faced lie as smooth

as she did.

However, I really don't trust her now.

And I'm wondering if Diane and Drew have been

playing everybody all along.

I just hope we can pull this week off.

Yep.

I feel that I would not-- wouldn't have made it

to the Final Four without you.

Same here, dude.

And I might be crazy for it.

But this was the only hope that we had.

Yeah.

And that's why I took it.

Yeah.

Phase one and two of our plan is over with.

Diane won the veto, and she used it to save me.

Karen's on the block.

JULIE: Last week, both Adria and Marvin were evicted.

How did it feel to have two houseguests

gone within hours?

Well, for me to be HOH, it seemed like everything

was happening so fast.

But for two people to go in the same week

and within like hours, it seemed like this house just

got cut in half.

So it's definitely been a lot of change

and getting used to just the five of us.

JULIE: OK.

Diane, at one time there were people playing the game.

Now it's down to five.

Did you ever believe that you would make it this far?

Of course I did.

JULIE: I like your confidence.

Yeah.

No, I knew I was coming this far.

It's right where I'm sitting.

JULIE: We'll see how far you can take it.

I know. [laughter]

JULIE: All right.

Karen.

Yes, ma'am.

JULIE: The winner of Big Brother

will walk away with a half million dollars.

Uh-huh.

JULIE: What would you do with all that money?

Julie, I'm on the block right now.

[laughter]

That's thinking a little far ahead, is it not?

JULIE: I'm sure you've thought about this question.

Actually, I'm trying to kind of not

contaminate myself with delusions of grandeur

at this time.

So I honestly don't really know to tell you the truth.

I haven't thought that far ahead.

JULIE: OK.

Sorry.

JULIE: That's all right.

Goose egg.

JULIE: Michael.

Yes, ma'am.

JULIE: You have talked a lot about your future stepson,

Chason.

Yes, ma'am.

JULIE: What will you tell him about this experience?

For one, if you want something more than anything, go for it

because here I am a living example.

And I hope he does the same thing.

If he wants to be a police officer that rides motorcycles,

go for it, Chason.

If I can do it, you can.

where Diane and Drew share their thoughts on Michael.

This week's decision for eviction is very difficult.

Cowboy to me has been like that person

that I confide in the most.

Cowboy might want to work with Drew at the game

and use the guy versus a girl tactic.

How can you hate Cowboy?

And if it came down to the Final Two,

then how could you not vote for Cowboy--

winning this whole thing?

So that kind of scares me.

[music playing]

JULIE: Welcome back to Big Brother .

After nine weeks, Karen has managed to stay in the game.

What has been her strategy to make it this far?

[music playing]

I have a very detailed, complicated strategy that I'm

trying to stick with in here.

And that does not involve bad behavior.

Because I feel like there may be a glimmer of hope,

I have to still put up the charade.

I'm only , but there's a very juvenile sense

of entertainment and humor.

[screaming]

And I'll tell you the honest truth, cut and dry.

I'm doing everything I know to stay in this game.

[laughter]

I'm laughing at stupid jokes.

I'm learning card games.

I'm going to go with a boom.

You're going to go all out?

Yeah.

I'm staying up all night while everybody is getting

drunk and giggling with them.

[laughter]

Come on.

I'm washing tons and tons of dishes.

I'm talking about music and things

that I don't know anything about at all.

I might go listen to me some music.

Some Nine Inch Nails.

[inaudible]

Yeah.

Oh, there's a few good ones.

I've suntanned myself to a crisp.

You know, I've shared my makeup with people.

Technically I'm against you, but I'm not.

I've started to drink coffee to be part of the coffee club.

You're talking to the queen of the worriers.

I cry with people.

I don't want you to risk yourself to try to save me.

[crying]

I have so much respect for you because I

would be begging and begging.

I'd be like, please, please, please.

And you haven't done it.

I have so much respect for that.

I know.

I'm sorry.

It's all right.

A couple tears won't hurt me.

Well, I listen to things that I don't know anything about

and I try to relate to them.

And kids doing plastic surgery, kids our age.

Kids will say, I want to look like Brad Pitt.

Well, you know, I'm making quesadillas at AM.

I want to be in bed.

I should make little bitty ba*ls and cook them,

and you could throw them on ice cream.

I swallow my pride.

I feel very comfortable around you.

And it's so weird.

I don't mind taking a back seat and letting

other people make decisions.

Honestly, I'll do whatever the group thinks is best.

Well, whatever decision you make,

I'm, obviously, going to support it.

I at least wanted to make the Final Four.

Honestly, I think that everybody has forgotten that these people

that are being ostracized are going to hold the Final

Two's fate in their hands.

I vote to evict Natalie.

JULIE [VOICEOVER]: Natalie, you are evicted

from the Big Brother house.

I really think, like, certain players in this game

have forgotten that.

I vote to evict Adria.

I can't do that because I have that in the back of my head.

And I had that in the back of my head

when Will, and Natalie, and whoever goes this week.

And it's the only way that I know how to protect myself.

I vote to evict Marvin.

JULIE [VOICEOVER]: Marvin, you are evicted

from the Big Brother house.

In my head, I'm trying to figure it out.

And I don't know if anybody else in here

has really looked at it the way I'm looking at it.

The biggest part of this game involves the people

who are sitting on that jury, because they're

going to cast the final vote.

They're going to decide the fate of the Final Two.

And I need to do everything that I can to stay on a playing

field with the people who do get evicted from this house

because they're going to be making the final decision.

And that's the most important part of the game.

And I think a lot of people in here have forgotten that.

I have to walk around happy as a dumpling

if I'm on the block, which is a scary thing.

I have to do it.

And I still might get my a*s booted out.

Yep.

Even after I wash their dishes.

[music playing]

JULIE: It's time to talk privately

with Nakomis, who is alone in the Head of Household bedroom.

Hi, Nakomis. - Hi, Julie.

JULIE: Now, remember, your fellow

housemates cannot hear you.

So feel free to speak openly.

JULIE: Diane won the Golden Power of Veto

and took Drew off the block, changing your nominations

and forcing you to nominate Karen.

How surprised were you by Diane's actions?

In one way, I was really surprised.

In another way, I wasn't surprised at all.

I thought that the promise that we had made and the trust that

we have would have gone a lot further than it did,

but it didn't.

And I kind of understand because, you know,

her man Drew was on the block.

So I guess we know where we stand.

JULIE: Well, your strategy has worked in the past.

You were instrumental in getting Jase and The Twins

out of the house.

How do you plan on making it to the Final Two?

Well, hopefully, Karen will be here next week,

and hopefully she'll get HOH.

But you know, Drew trusts me.

And I think that he wants to do more with me.

And he doesn't want to take Diane to the end.

Or I could go with Diane.

It all-- it's opportunity.

When opportunity knocks, answer your door.

JULIE: You will not be able to compete in tonight's

Head of Household competition.

How safe do you feel in the house?

If Karen is still here, I feel very safe in the house.

But if Karen happens to leave this week,

I feel a little bit vulnerable.

JULIE: What about Michael?

If Michael stays in the house, do you

think he will side with you?

If Michael stays in the house, Michael doesn't

talk to me on a daily basis.

So I do not think that Michael would side with me whatsoever.

JULIE: All right. Well, thank you, Nakomis.

Thank you.

JULIE: You can go back into the living room

and join your housemates.

JULIE: You're welcome.

Coming up, last week's double eviction sent two more people

to the Big Brother jury house.

What is it like for Will to be living with Adria and Natalie

And how shocked were the jury members when

Marvin walked through the door?

For now, let's return to the Diary Room,

where Diana and Drew give their thoughts on Karen.

Karen has kissed a lot of a*s this entire game.

And I don't know if that type of player

is the kind of person that should win.

The one good thing about keeping Karen around

in this game would be to have more girls than guys

and have that as the stronger number.

Karen can never lie.

And that's a positive to have around in a person

because there are a lot of people

that have played in this game that don't tell the truth.

[music playing]

JULIE: Welcome back.

Adria had a difficult relationship

with both Will and Marvin.

What was it like for Adria to see Will again

at the Big Brother jury house, and how surprised was she

when Marvin suddenly showed up?

[music playing]

Waiting at the bottom of the stairs for a new houseguest

to arrive is just the most nervous and frenetic

experience.

You might see a friend but that means that that friend then

isn't going to win the money.

You might see somebody that you don't

want them to win the money.

But then that means that you're going

to have to spend an entire week with that person.

Here we go. - All right.

Who is it? Who is it?

[music playing]

Oh, yes!

Yay!

Woo!

Never would've guessed it.

[laughter]

All of the sudden, out of nowhere Adria rounds

the corner.

At the exact moment that I saw her,

it was almost like this smug validation

because now, you know, I might not

be walking home with half a million dollars,

but neither are those b*tches.

Well, it's time to fiesta.

Oh, my god.

Internally, I just really sensed

a feeling that Adria was on her way

to the sequestered jury house.

So I was just happy to see her.

Holla.

When I gave Will a hug, I know that from my end that it

was full out, that I was just like, you know,

it's good to see you.

And I'm just glad to be here.

I'm so excited.

Now I will not only be living with Natalie,

but I will also be living with Tweedle

Dum and Tweedle Dee combined.

Oh, my god.

Well, isn't this place absolutely beautiful?

And at this point, I mean, really,

I mean, it has escalated to a whole other level,

one extravaganza after another.

Watching the tapes is such a great thing because although it

doesn't give us any diary information,

we are allowed to watch unbiased cuts

of the events, the ceremonies, and the competitions.

JULIE: By a unanimous vote, Adria,

you are evicted from the Big Brother house.

[laughter]

I'm on the jury and so this week

I learned a lot about who I do and don't want to vote for now.

So I'm sorry.

And Natalie says that's two more votes on the jury.

I thought y'all was separate, though.

Yeah, we are.

Do you feel like you making that comment

at the end about Natalie says this, that, and the other,

do you think that that is kind of defeating your purpose?

I don't have a purpose there.

And people will continue to see--

Wait. Wait.

It was something I did say to her if I left.

She asked me to pass that on because she

didn't want to reflect on me.

I didn't want to leave it at that day.

I watched this tape with them.

You forget how they are together.

They're like two psychotic c*ck Spaniels gnawing

at the same piece of raw meat.

It's like one tries to make a sentence.

The other one finishes it.

And if you come up with any sort of reason or logic

to dispute what they say, they immediately both

jump all over you.

I didn't want to say it when I left because anything I said

was--

--was reflecting on me anyways.

I didn't want to reflect on her.

So I just said, if you do get evicted

then do say that my vote does count.

It was just so refreshing and so amazing

because he's someone that I totally enjoyed

being around in the house.

They had a double elimination right after

Adria got voted out-- you.

Right.

After that, we had an emergency

HOH competition the next day.

And guess who Drew puts up?

He hears from Cowboy that I kissed his old lady.

So he is mad at her.

And he's mad at me too.

Did you kiss Diane?

Well, hey, a brother get locked up, he'll kiss Nakomis.

[laughter]

At the end of the day, the way it goes down

is we're all on the jury and we control

who wins this damn game.

That's just how it is.

We're all losers.

We're all fighting over who lost first.

And by the way, I beat all y'all up.

[laughter]

God, this is too much for me.

Well, I need a drink, baby.

Who can get me a-- hey, Will, get me a drink in [inaudible]

JULIE: Tonight's live eviction is minutes away.

Karen, Michael, the live eviction is coming up.

Each of you will now have a chance to plead your case

to your fellow housemates.

Think carefully about what you would like to say.

Only two people are voting this evening,

so you still might be able to change their minds.

Karen, why don't you go first.

Well, I have nothing officially prepared.

So I think that this game is about different reasons

for everybody.

And I don't think anybody's reasons are more or less

important than anybody else's.

And the way I've tried to be is exactly the way

I would be in real life.

And I've been truthful with everybody.

So I'll be truthful, I'd like to stay, if you'd like to have me.

And that's pretty much it.

You guys know me inside and out.

Just by looking at me, you know what I'm thinking.

So that's all I can say.

And Michael, what would you like to say?

Well, Karen actually took words out of my mouth.

You know, over the weeks, we've grown really close,

and even Diane and myself.

You know, I would love to be on the Final Four

next week as well.

And you all know how I am.

So if you all feel that I need to go, I'll respect that.

If you want me to stay, I'll respect that as well.

I know that we had that talk in that room.

And I want--

I mean, everything's out in the open

and I can talk about it a million times.

Your pinky is the only pinky I touched.

I never-- me and her never verbally made

any promises to each other.

And I know that and that's why I'm not mad.

- I made that decision. - Listen.

Come here.

I know but I don't want you to hate me

because I had to put her out. - I don't.

It had nothing to do with her.

I know.

It's-- I understand.

Depending on the situation, Karen has, you know--

I know it's horrible.

But Karen has a whole bunch of friends in the jury house.

Yeah, I know.

And you know, it sucks.

And she is a good friend.

And I know that you didn't do it for personal reasons.

But you know, it's a good game move.

And it sucks.

And I kind of expected it to happen.

But you know, I'm not going to get pissed off at anyone,

like truly, at all.

I just thought maybe it was in her best interest.

I didn't lie about it.

But it wasn't in my best interest to say, hey,

I'm voting you out Thursday.

Just so you know, you know.

Well, if she's--

I didn't want to have to deal with that.

If you said anything on your reel in there

that she might get right now, it might make it--

I've completely explained myself in that.

Then you have to--

JULIE: Karen, how are you feeling right now?

I knew it was coming.

And I'm kicking myself because there

was a time that I had a veto.

And I chose to leave Adria on the block

because Adria had gone against a promise between Diane and Will

in a group.

And it was more in defense of Diane

and defense of that group and that joint promise.

And I kind of didn't want to do it to Adria.

And I did it.

And Adria kind of forewarned me it was coming.

So--

JULIE: And Adria, before she was evicted,

she said she would do what she could to keep you in the house.

And you voted to evict her.

I did.

JULIE: Looking back, was that a huge mistake on your part?

I don't really know because I don't think that my vote would

have saved her necessarily.

But I could see it in body language.

I'm a pretty good read of people.

And I could tell by the way they were--

by the way Diane and Drew were acting towards me

the last couple of days.

I knew that they were not being truthful with me.

And I just didn't have it in me.

I'm physically drained, and I'm emotionally sapped.

And it's really hard to deal with the kind of people

that they are.

They almost are ruling that house.

And they turn their backs and they walk away.

And they don't want anything to do with anybody around them.

And it's just very, very difficult.

And the circumstances in there are very, very draining.

And unless you're in there hours a day,

I don't think anybody realizes, even the people at home

don't realize.

And I really miss my family.

So all of that has been very, very hard to begin with.

So maybe it's for the best.

JULIE: You did say to Nakomis that you did

not have a commitment to Diane and you

wanted her out of the game.

So can you blame her for what she did?

Diane?

JULIE: Yeah.

In that she voted you out and when she had the veto,

she saved Drew, knowing you were going

to be put up on the block.

Right.

Well, the problem that I had was the previous veto

Diane had won when she was put on the block by Drew,

Diane had told me she would not use the veto.

She looked at me point blank and said, if I get the veto,

I'm not using it.

And less than hours later, she used it.

So right then and there--

I feel actions speak louder than words.

And I felt she looked at me, and she blatantly

told me a bold-faced lie.

And I felt that that caused me to not trust her.

And her and Drew have, obviously,

been conspiring the whole time and playing on everybody.

So you know, whatever went on--

if I told Drew, hey, Drew, you know,

Diane told me something that wasn't true,

he went back to her.

And it's just-- it's all very juvenile.

I'm years old.

I'm trying to play hide and seek with these people.

JULIE: [laughter]

I've kind of had enough.

JULIE: Well, you hung in there.

You made it very close. - I tried.

I tried.

I hope I didn't embarrass my family.

JULIE: Not at all.

I wanted to take somebody to the end who was honest with me,

even if it would have given me a run for my money

and I would've came in second.
