(people talking)

- You're riding a good looking stallion, is he yours?

- Yeah.

- How old is he?

- I don't know, maybe five.

- Where did you buy him?

- What is this, 20 questions?

- They're adoption papers Caitlyn.

Jim and I, we want to legally adopt you.

- Adopt me?

- You'd be our daughter.

(people yelling)

- I don't believe it.

You are so not brother material.

- Feel free to reconsider.

- Oh don't worry.

I wouldn't dream of considering.

- Finley thinks that she's found one of her horses.

- Bandit?

No.

No.

I will not let you take my horse.

(Horse snorting)

I won't let 'em take you boy.

(Horse nickering)

(suspenseful music)

When we found him, he wasn't branded.

- Hey.

- He was with a wild herd.

You said he didn't belong to anyone.

- That's what we thought.

- You said we'd have him registered

and he'd be mine.

You promised.

- Caitlin we did register him.

It's just,

(groans)

it's just a little more complicated than that.

When Mrs. Finley's horse ran away,

the Colt was too young to brand.

She claims that she owned him first.

- Well, she can't prove it.

- Every horse has a distinct blood type.

She's asked us to submit a sample of Bandits blood,

and if it matches her colts,

then it would prove that bandit is.

- Well, I won't let her take it.

She can get a court order.

She can force us to give her the sample.

(Horse snorting)

- Can she really take him?

- I don't know.

But I promise you,

we will do everything in our power

to fight to keep Bandit.

- Yeah, but you don't keep your promises.

(Horse nickering)
