This is the incredible G-b*mb.

The most awesome weapon
ever conceived by man.

And this is Dr Bruce Banner,

eminent scientist
and the b*mb's creator,

who some time ago,
in an effort to rescue Rick Jones

from an experimental gamma ray blast,

was himself exposed
to the b*mb's mysterious rays

and shortly thereafter began to
change into a monstrous being

who became known
as the Incredible Hulk.

His terrifying appearance
and sudden rages

soon alienated him
from the whole human race,

while Dr Banner's strange habits
and frequent disappearances

raised questions
in high military circles.

What is this "Now you see me, now you
don't" routine of yours anyway, Banner?

And why do you keep putting off
the vital test of your new T-g*n?

I... It's not ready.

I think you're stalling.
I want that g*n tested.

What's so important
about the T-g*n, Doc.?

If it does what I think it will do,
perhaps it should never be tested.

But destiny has other plans

and that night
the spine-tingling change occurs.

Again Bruce Banner
mysteriously vanishes

and once more the Incredible Hulk
is loosed upon a world

that is hunting, hounding,
hating him.

I don't care if everything that lives
is out to get me.

I'd rather be the Hulk.

I can beat anyone, anything.

Nothing can hurt me.
I don't need anybody.

I'm bigger and better than any man.

Listen. Listen, all you weaklings.

I am the Hulk.

Despise me if you will
and catch me if you can.

I'll smash you all.

There's no one
within miles of me here.

I'm tired of running and hiding.

I gotta do some figuring.

While half a world away...

There it is, General Ross.
Bruce Banner's mysterious T-g*n.

His last invention
before his disappearance.

A mighty weapon.
Purpose unknown.

Built from his plans and never fired.

Since he's suspected of being a traitor,

we're afraid that it might be
a gigantic booby-trap.

And it's my job to test it?

Very well, let's get started.

Ring this building with Nike missiles.

We'll operate
under maximum-security conditions,

although we'll have no real security
until the Hulk is found.

We have Rick Jones in custody, sir,
but he refuses to talk.

He knows both Banner and the Hulk.

For all we know, they are in cahoots.

In a heavily guarded military prison,
Rick Jones waits and worries.

I gotta stay here until I tell what
I know about the Hulk and Doc Banner.

But I can't tell.

Please, you've gotta release me.
The Hulk needs me.

With the Hulk on the loose,
you're all in danger.

But while the security guards
turn a deaf ear to Rick Jones,

the Hulk faces his own dilemma.

I must think.

Try and remember.

Rick. That's it.

Rick Jones.

Must find him.
He's my only friend.

Only one who will help me.

I need him.

Meanwhile
at a nearby military installation,

the T-g*n is finally in position.

Unidentified flying object
coming fast at 11 o'clock.

- It's a man.
- Man, my eye.

We should have guessed.
It's the Hulk.

Fire the missiles.

Do they think that their puny
missiles can scare me off?

I've got to find Rick.

As the g*ns of the military
continue to harass him...

It's him. It's the Hulk.
He's back.

Missiles won't bring him down.
We might as well try the T-g*n.

What have we got to lose?
Start the countdown.

Inexorably the mysterious g*n
zeroes in on the Hulk.

He is almost in range.
Prepare to fire.

No g*n can hurt the Hulk.

The T-g*n pauses ominously, then...

Fire!

What's happened?

Nothing looks familiar.

What kind of place is this?

It's like nothing I ever saw.

Then as the glare and the throbbing
and blinding flashes finally cease...

That face.
I know it from somewhere.

It's a statue but it's so old,

like it's been here forever.

I'm in the future.

I feel like
I'm in some kind of dead world

and I don't know how to get back.

To what desolate world
has the T-g*n transported the Hulk?

And what nameless dangers
will he find awaiting him?
