And I was ready to enjoy the trip

Ugh. Like, how, paleface.
Yeah, how, paleface.
Wow, look. A couple of Indians.
I swear, you guys have been watching too many movies.
Indians are just like everybody else.
- That's right. - It's an Indian.
Like, me, Shaggy. Him, Scooby.
And me, embarrassed.
Hi, Shaggy. Hi, Scooby. Hi, Embarrassed.
My name's Warren and I'll be your guide.
But where's the rest of your tribe?
Are they all as cute as you?
My tribe lives in town, a place just like Coolsville.
A tribe? Wow, that's cool.
A couple of mighty warriors like us will fit right in.
Yeah, mighty warriors.
Yeah, right. Well, why don't you two mighty warriors
go gather some firewood?
- Uh-uh. No way. - Like, forget it, Daphne.
We aren't going into that spooky forest.
Well, if you don't, it sure will be
a long, dark, scary night.
[both gulp]

Come on, Scoob.
I'll go tell my grandfather that you're here.

I wonder what's taking Shaggy and Scooby so long.
[panting] Like, we saw something horrible.
Yeah, horrible.
Was it a vampire with long dripping fangs?
Or a slimy swamp creature?
It was worse than that. It was..
[gulps] ...a totem pole monster.
Yeah.
"Get off my land."
Oh, no, not a..
...totem pole monster?
Gee, you two, this is really serious.
Don't worry, guys, there aren't any totem pole monsters.
- There aren't? - Of course not.
They teamed up with the Martians
and left Earth about five years ago.
Oh, boy, looks like nobody believes us here, Scoob.
- I do. - 'Who are you?'
This is my grandfather, Jay Littlefield.
He used to be the leader of our tribe.
- Really? - That's right.
And I've been waiting for the totem spirit to appear.
- You have? - Yes.
Haven't you heard the old Indian legend?
- Like, no, and I don't want to. - Me neither.
The totem spirit will appear if his sacred land is threatened.
Threatened by what?
Grandfather's upset because his house will be
torn down when they build the large hotel.
I have been living in that house for 50 years.
And I am not moving.
Besides, that hotel will ruin our town.
Boy, grandfather's not happy.
