Today's the day!

-What day, Wing?
-Yeah, what's so exciting?

It's the day of
the Gotham City Air Show.
That's what.

What's an air show?

Tell him, BC.

[chuckles] Certainly.
An air show is a contest

where airplanes compete
for a special prize.

There are three events.

First, the air-slalom race,

where we have to race through
a special course.

Then skywriting.

And finally,

sky acrobatics.

I'll get to do my high altitude
triple inside loop.

[powers down]

-[Buff gasps]
-[whooshing]

[dings]

[powering up]

[whirring]

-[powering down]
-[all] Wow.

-[Bibi] Amazing move.
-[Bam] Cool.

Aw, thanks!

It's way cooler

when I've got
more room to zoom.

I'm going to wow the crowd
and win that trophy.

That's awesome, Wing.

But an air show doesn't
really seem like
Batman's kind of thing.

Heroes are about
helping people,
not winning trophies.

I am sure he wants to show off
his most amazing
crime-fighting machine.

Of course,
Batman's gonna do it.

I'm not going to do it.

Send a message
to the Gotham Air Show,

telling them I can't make
an appearance today.

Right away, Batman.

Catwoman's been spotted
prowling around,

and that takes priority.

It's so not fair.

I know I could have won.

Batwing, Bam was right.

Winning trophies is fun.
But heroes help.

Batman doesn't
need me right now.

I could go just to watch.

Just to watch?

But if Batman needs your help
with Catwoman--

I'd fly off right away
and go help him, of course.

I'm going to the air show.

if Batman needs you.

-[crowd cheering]
-[announcer] The 56th
annual Gotham Air Show

will begin shortly.

Tonight's winner
will take home the grand prize.

Our trophy cup,
bearing the fabulous
Augusta Diamond.

[crowd cheering]

-[clanging]

Green Arrow is on vacation
with his canary,

so I couldn't
enter the contest.

But I just had to come
see the pretty planes.

Same! Batman's off
chasing cats,

so I don't get to compete
in the air show either.

[both] It is so not fair.

[shimmering]

[crowd cheering, applauding]

[Goldie] Wow.

[both] Ooh!

Are you thinking
what I'm thinking?

I think I am.

-We're jet-acular.
-Great jets think alike.

Competitors,
to the starting line.

With these new paint jobs,

Batman and Green Arrow
will never know it's us.

[announcer] Time for
the Gotham Air Show's
first event,

the air-slalom race.

And, we're off!

Racers, don't hit
those balloons.

[crowd cheering]

[fizzles]

[announcer chuckles] Oh,
Racer 2 is disqualified.

And the winner
of the first event

-is Racer 4!
-Yes!

[crowd cheering]

That's my best
jet friend. [cheers]

-I've got a visual on Catwoman.
-[electronic beeping]

Hm. I don't see anything on
street level cameras, Batman.

That's because
she's not on street level.

Meow. [laughs]

[Batman] In pursuit.

[announcer] And now,
the second event, skywriting!

You're up, Wing.

[whirring]

[Goldie] Careful. You don't
wanna give yourself away.

I couldn't help it. Now you.

[horse neighs]

[chuckling] Just beautiful.

Racer 5 wins the second event.

[all cheering, whooping]

Racer 5. It's you, Goldie!

I'm so proud
of my best jet friend.

[purring]

-[thuds]
-Bad kitties.

Don't you have any
treats of your own?

Of course, Batman.

But other people's treats
are just so much
more yummy, somehow.

[cat meows]

[cat screeches]

-You're a little late
to the party, Batman.
-[cat meows]

And I simply must fly.

It's a long drop to the street.
Unless your car can grow wings.

[clicks]

-[powering up]
-[electronic whirring]

-[Catwoman chuckles] Meow.
-[cat meows]

You're such a good guesser.

You should be a detective
when you grow up.

[chuckles]

[sighs] I had to ask.

[Batmobile]
A flying Catmobile?

I hope Batwing is ready
to join this mission.

Batman's gonna need her.

-[audience cheering]
-Ladies and gentlemen,

it all comes down
to the final event.

Sky acrobatics.

Racer 4 and Racer 5
have won one event each,

tying for first place.

But who will amaze the crowd

and take home that trophy?

Good luck, Racer 5.

Good luck, Racer 4.

-[both chuckle]
-[announcer] Racer 5...

-[powering up]
-[announcer] Go!

Racer 4, go!

Time to show everyone
my triple inside loop.

I'm gonna knock their socks off
and win that trophy.

[powering down]

[all gasping]

-[Batwing] Let's do this.
-[boosters whirring]

Batwing, Batman needs you.

But I'm so close! I could win!

I thought you were just going
to watch the air show.

Crime-fighting
comes first, Batwing.

La-la-la-la, not listening!
Can't hear you.

Catwoman is escaping

in a flying Catmobile.

If you don't help Batman
right now,

she'll get away.

[groans] Okay, I get it.

Heroes are about helping
Tell Batman I'm on my way.

[announcer] Racer 4
has broken off.

-[crowd murmuring]
-[announcer]
Is something wrong?

Oh, no. Why'd you stop, Wing?

Sorry, Goldie. Batman needs me.

[Goldie] Black jellybeans.

But you're doing
the right thing.

Fly free, fly safe,
best jet friend.

[water splashes]

Go, Wing, go!

[Batcomputer] Batman,

Catwoman has been spotted
flying towards Gotham Stadium.

The Gotham Air Show.

That Augusta Diamond Trophy
is just the kind of treat

a certain cat can't resist.

[Catwoman] Look, Miss Kitka.
So shiny.

And all ours.
Come to kitty, my pretty.

[meows]

[Goldie] It's that
cat lady person.

She's going for the prize!

-Hey!
-[cat yowls, hisses]

It's not nice to box me in.

[electronic whirring]

-[Goldie yells]
-[thuds]

-Hm? Hm?
-[cart crashes]

[groans]

[both laughing]

[Batman] Catwoman's
going for the trophy.

Activating auto-control
and deploying Batglider.

[grunts]

[Catwoman] I may be
late to the show,

but I'm still
taking first prize.

-[laughs]
-[clinks]

[both chuckling]

[Batman] Hand it over,
Catwoman.

-[cat yowls]
-[thuds]

How about you take the cup,
but I keep the diamond?

[snarls, hisses]

Oh, so sorry, Batman,
but Miss Kitka
won't hear of it.

Too-da-loo!

-[motor revs]
-[Batman grunts]

[grunting]

[grunts]

[both laugh]

Batwing, auto-control,
cut off Catwoman's
escape route.

I know how to catch this cat.

Looks like
your little toy plane
is running away, Batman.

[Catwoman chuckles]

[boosters whirring]

Time for my triple inside loop.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

[cat meows weakly]

[laughing]

Whoa. That's quite a plane
you've got there, Bats.

Is it for sale?

Not for all the stolen diamonds
in Gotham.

You deserve this, Batman.

the Batwing did?

It was unbelievable.
[chuckles] How did you do it?

I'm not at liberty to say,
but I was only a part
of your show by accident.

The top competitor
should take the cup.

[chuckles] Silly Batman.

He doesn't know you were
the best part of the show.

Well, catching Catwoman
is a better reward
than any old trophy.

Heroes help. It's what we do.

That makes you the winner,
Racer 5.

[crowd cheering]

[Goldie yells exultantly]
