Thundercats!

[♪♪♪]

VULTUREMAN: Today
will be the turning point

in the history of Third Earth.

[GIGGLES]

And this, the
Thundranium Projector,

will prove for once and for all

that I, Vultureman,

am the true mutant leader.

I will drive the Thundercats
from their homes

and Mumm-Ra will be so grateful

that he will reward
me for all eternity.

[GIGGLES]

But first,

a trial run.

[VULTUREMAN CACKLES]

It's perfect.

A ray of pure Thundranium,

the one substance which
reduces the Thundercats

to puny kittens.

And a precision aiming device

so that I can hit
a single target

or saturate an entire area.

Hee-hee-hee. Who
needs a team of mutants

when Vultureman

swings into action?

[CACKLES]

[♪♪♪]

WILYKAT: Oh,
give it up, Wilykit.

You can't beat me
in a spaceboard race.

[LAUGHS]

That's what you think, Wilykat.

[LAUGHS]

Hey, what's that?

I don't know.

But we'll soon see.

No!

Don't do it, Wilykit.

Whoa.

Oh!

Wilykat, help!

Hang on, Kit, I'm coming.

Whoa!

Huh?

Whoa!

Kit.

A-are you okay?

Yeah.

Oh, I think so.

What is that stuff?

WILYKIT: I don't know.

But I feel so weak.

Wilykat,

do you think it might
be Thundranium?

I think we'd better find out.

SLITHE: Our weapons
are a mess, yes?

I thought you ordered Vultureman

to fix them, Slithe.

[GROWLS]

I certainly did.

Find him at once and tell him

they'd better be in
perfect order by tomorrow,

or I'll wring his scrawny neck.

Yes?

Vultureman.

I should have known
he was behind this.

He obviously doesn't
know we're here.

He's got some kind of
Thundranium device there.

That's dangerous.

We should find
out what he's up to

before he gets a chance

to use it against
all the Thundercats.

You're right.

If we both ride my board

and keep low through the woods,

we'll surprise him.

[BEEPING]

I'd better check

the Thundranium level.

[SQUAWKS]

It's almost gone.

My projector obviously uses

more Thundranium
than I bargained for.

[GROANS]

And the only source
is on Dark Side.

I'll have to go to those
wretched Lunataks

for a new supply.

[VULTUREMAN SQUAWKS]

WILYKAT: We'll teach you to
mess with Thundercats, Vultureman.

[SCREAMS]

WILYKIT: Oh!

Oh! Oh!

[SNEEZES]

[VULTUREMAN SOBS]

You've broken my masterpiece.

I'll get even with you
for this, Thunderkittens.

No one messes with Vultureman!

[HUMMING]

If it wasn't for old Snarf,

Lion-O wouldn't be able to see

the Eye of Thundera
through the dust in here.

[COUGHS]

Snarf, snarf.

Lion-O!

There's trouble, come quick!

Quick, Snarf, give me the sword.

Sword of Omens, give
me sight beyond sight.

LION-O: The
Thunderkittens are in danger.

They're headed right
into the Field of Daggers.

They look exhausted.

They won't be able to
hang on much longer.

There's no time to lose.

We have to get after
them. Come on, Snarf.

[GROANING]

I... I-I feel so weak, Wilykit.

Wilykat, you've got to hold on.

Oh, no.

Hang on.

Whoa!

[THUNDERKITTENS YELLING]

Get a move on, Vultureman.

You're taking all day.

[SQUAWKS]

I'm working as fast as I can.

What's the hurry, anyway?

We're low on munchies.

I'm going to steal some snacks

from those pathetic Wollos.

Then tomorrow,

we'll take their
entire harvest, yes?

Well, there you are, Slithe.

A-Okay for takeoff.

[GROWLS]

Try to bring it back

in one piece this time, huh?

Don't you worry
about me, buzzard.

Just check out the
SkyCutters, yes?

We'll need them tomorrow.

[COUGHS]

If Slithe's going to bounce

some Wollos around,

you can bet that Lion-O

will ride in to the rescue.

[LAUGHS]

And I will be waiting for him

with the Thundranium Projector.

I'll take care of Slithe

and Lion-O together.

[CHUCKLES]

Two birds with one stone.

I hate that expression.

Plun-Darr to Sky-Tomb, come in.

What do you want, mutant?

The Thundranium Projector
worked exactly as planned.

[CHUCKLES]

Tomorrow there will
be a perfect opportunity

to defeat Lion-O with it.

But I need more Thundranium.

Very well.

I will meet you one
hour before sunrise.

Do not be late.

[CAWS]

SNARF: Rrreow. I don't
see any sign of the kittens.

Are you sure we're
on the right trail?

Snarf, snarf.

According to our
tracking systems we are,

but I'll check again.

The trail stops just
a little way ahead.

Keep looking.

WILYKIT: Oh... Where am...?

How...?

Wilykat, wake up.

Tell me you're all right.

[GROANS]

Oh, ah!

My leg.

I don't think I can walk.

I'm just glad we're alive.

That was some fall.

How are we ever
gonna get out of here?

No one will ever find us.

Don't give up, we'll
think of something.

Let's see if you can walk.

Come on. Yeah. Ah, ow.

I'll be okay.

Great.

There's a bridge.

Let's see if we
can get up on it.

there's one of the
kittens' spaceboards.

LION-O: By Jaga, you're right.

then keep me waiting.

[ENGINE WHIRRING]

A primitive design.

But it should be
effective enough.

[CAWS]

How dare you insult

my precious
Thundranium Projector.

This is the weapon which
will deliver Third Earth

into the hands of
the forces of evil.

Now, where's my Thundranium?

Mind your beak, insolent turkey.

But first things first.

Rrrreow.

Uh-oh.

I sure hope they
didn't fall down there.

We'll check it out

[THUNDER RUMBLING]

I don't like the
looks of this storm.

OLD WOLLO: Oh,
what a strange storm.

It only lasted a
couple of minutes.

A-and it covered
such a small area,

centered right on
the Wollo village.

OLD WOLLO: I don't
like the looks of this at all.

Oh!

No natural storm would do that.

work of mutants.

Oh, yes,

I'm ready, Chilla.

No. No, Lion-O!

you yet, Thundercats.

[SQUAWKS]

LION-O: You got
caught in the crossfire

and the mutants.

I'm sorry.

You have nothing

to apologize for, Lion-O.

The Thundercats have

We are always happy to see you,

like these.

I can't believe that
Chilla and Vultureman

just to try to get us.

There must be
something we can do

for these Wollos, Lion-O.

Perhaps Panthro could
come up with something.

Well, he could try,

but it doesn't seem likely.

JAGA: This is not a task

Jaga.

This is a task for

Magical powers?

The Sword.

The Sword of Omens.
