03x13 - The Formula

Post by bunniefuu »

There they go again!

Off to New Thundera to look
for that blasted Treasure of Thundera.

And Sky-Tomb doesn't have
the power to follow them.

This situation is intolerable!

Cool your jets, Luna.

I may have solved
that particular problem with this:

My new Multi-Octane High-Potential
Maximum-Velocity Fuel Formula.

Say that again?

My new Multi-Octane
High-Potential...

...Maximum-Velocity Fuel Formula.

Booster Juice.

My new invention.

Fill the Sky-Tomb fuel tanks
with this stuff...

...and it'll blast us off to New Thundera
faster than you can say:

"Hand over the treasure,
Thundercats."

Your formula had better work, Alluro.

It'll work.
Get ready to be boosted.

Fire it up.

Unbelievable!

Zero to 5000 in 10 seconds!

Hang on,
we're going into megathrust.

All right!

Uh-oh, what's that?

We're out of control! Do something!

It's the fuel formula.

It's too powerful!

We'll have to jettison the formula.

I'll empty the tanks
over that meadow.

What happened?

I've never seen anything like it.

It must be my fuel formula.

It's boosted the plant life.

Anything it touches
becomes super--

Aah!

Help!

Let go. Aah!

Let go of him.

Back to Sky-Tomb. Quickly!

Let's get out of here! Hurry!

Liftoff! Give me liftoff!

I'll use the regular fuel
from the auxiliary tanks.

Well, don't just
stand there jawing!

Do something!

So much for my precious formula.

That fuel's a bust.

Are you kidding, Alluro?

I think you've finally
invented a weapon...

...which will do the Thundercats in.

All we have to do is to give it
to those stupid mutants and....

It's a beautiful day for a picnic.

I just wish we could have gone
on that mission to New Thundera.

We can't all go every time, Wilykat.

I know, but a picnics so boring
compared to a trip to New Thundera.

Well, Lion-O didn't go either.

He's spending all day
checking the computer stats...

...and you don't hear him
complaining.

Uh-oh. What's that?

Huh, so all we have to do
is spray Alluro's magic formula...

...around the Lair?

That's right. And then
the Thundercats are plant food, yes?

It's the mutants! An air attack!

Let's get back to the Lair.

There's no time.

Quick, into that cave.

What are they doing?

What is that stuff?

Holy Jaga!

Sounds like mutant SkyCutters.

What kind of stunt is this?

What--?

Pumyra and the Thunderkittens
are out there. I've got to help them.

Hey!

Come on.
We've got to get back to the Lair.

Which way is the Lair?

It's impossible to tell.

Snarf, I'm getting some
very strange atmospheric readings...

...on the Lair coordinates.

And I can't raise a response
on the communicator.

Then what are we waiting for, Lynx-O?
Grab your braille board...

...and let's run over there
in the ThunderTank.

More haste, less speed,
my loyal, furry friend.

I've never seen anything like it.

This juice is something else.

That Alluro really came up
with a winner this time...

...even if it was by accident.

Too bad the fun's over.

Not necessarily.

Here's a chance
to take some prisoners...

...and earn a few more
brownie points with Luna.

Yes?

Hurry, Lynx-O. I'm worried.

Mutants! Now we know
there's trouble at the Lair.

Don't worry.
The ThunderTank will outrun them.

Look out!

I don't understand.

There was nothing in the road.

Reow. A second ago there wasn't,
and then there was.

Blast! The impact must have shorted
the power out.

The braille board
and the ThunderTank are dead.

Reow. You mean
we're helpless. Snarf, snarf.

I'm afraid so.

Okay, Thundercats,
out of the Tank, yes?

We've got you now, Thundercats.

We've got you, but good.

Don't get too comfortable in here...

...because as soon as Luna tells us
where our next target is...

...we'll be taking you for a ride.

Snarf, snarf.
I don't like this one little bit, Lynx-O.

Snarf! What's that?

It's coming from over there.

Reow. It's a mouse.

And he's trapped,
poor little fellow.

Now, now, now. Reow.
No need to be afraid of old Snarf.

That's right.

Snarf and Lynx-O are your friends.

A dead end.

Nice of you to bring me my sword.

But this whole scene
is beginning to bug me.

Aah!

I never thought I'd owe
a plant a favor, but thanks.

Now I've got to find Pumyra
and the Thunderkittens.

Keep going, Thunderkittens.

I'm sure we're headed
in the right direction.

Help!

Kit! Pumyra! Help me!

Wilykat!

Stand aside, Wilykit.

Help!

Use a stronger pellet, Pumyra.

I can't.

Anything stronger
might hurt Wilykat too.

This thing's stronger
than a Plun-Darrian prison.

Wilykat, are you all right?

Well, how about that.

It looks like our friend prefers
Snarf's wonderberry muffins...

...to a nice, tasty Thunderkitten.

Ha-ha! There's no accounting
for taste, is there?

Uh-oh. What now?

Let's go, Monkian.

We'll hit the Berbil Village
with our Booster Juice.

Look out, Berbils, here we come.

Our little friend
is quite a performer. Snarf.

Uh-oh. Snarf.

Your time is up, Thundercats.

Now we're going
for a little ride, yes?

We're going to drop you
at the Berbil Village.

But you won't have long to visit.
Hoo-hoo-hoo.

Because once we spray it
with this Booster Juice--

Grab some of that stuff, Snarf.
We'll have to analyze it...

...so we can make an antidote.

Perhaps we can do that
in Vultureman's lab. This way.

Good idea. Lead on, Snarf.

Lion-O!
Boy, are we glad to see you.

Get us out of here. Please.

Are you sure you want out?

If you stay in there long enough,
you might turn into a butterfly.

Lion-O! Look out behind you!

Thunder, thunder, thunder.
Thundercats, h*!

Reow. What do we do now?

Lion-O's in trouble.

I know, Snarf, I know.

But we'll never be able to help him
if we panic now.

So calm down and mix the contents
of those two test tubes.

Oh, reow. I just hope
you know what you're doing.

So do I, Snarf. So do I.

Hurry, Snarf. Our friendly mouse
can't hold those mutants off forever.

We lost him, yes?

Come on, Monkian.

Stay cool, Snarf.
We're nearly finished.

I just wish we could test this stuff
before we use it.

Something tells me we won't
have the time, snarf, snarf.

There's a SkyCutter parked
right beneath us. It's our only chance.

Hold it right there.

Yikes!

Come on, Lynx-0O, let's go.

Reow.
How are we gonna find them?

Leave that to me, Snarf.

I don't know how much longer
I can keep this up.

Oh, no. Not you again.

No! Lion-O!

Reow! Lion-O!
Thank Jaga, you're safe.

Jaga has nothing to do with it
this time, Snarf.

It's you and Lynx-O
I should thank.

I don't know what I'd have done
without you.

Well, I guess we'd better
get back to the Lair...

...and figure out how to put
everything back to normal.

Hey. What about us?
What about us?

Huh? Wilykit, Wilykat?

Why, I didn't realize
you were still hanging around.

Oh, no.
Oh, Lion-O.

Well, your antidote worked, Lynx-O.

We've sprayed the east meadow
and all of the affected areas.

Except for one small patch
of mutant-eating zinnias.

Ha-ha! And that's where we left
the SkyCutter and the Nosediver.

We're entering
your atmosphere, Lair, do you copy?

You're coming in loud and clear,
Feliner. How was New Thundera?

We found a few trinkets,
but nothing very important.

On the other hand, we did get
some interesting seismic readings...

...which give us a pretty good idea
where to look next time.

And speaking of next time...

...tell the Thunderkittens
they're definitely on the passenger list.

Gee, I don't know if we should go
to New Thundera.

We might miss something
really exciting right here.
