[MAN ON RADIO] 107 at WKU,

We're into day 12
of one of the nastiest heat waves

the Big Apple's ever seen.

Current temperature is...
Are you ready for this, folks?

No.

[MAN ON RADIO] 101 degrees.

All this, and a water shortage, too.

Hope you folks aren't wasting water.

Perish the thought.

[MAN ON RADIO] And, remember, no baths,

[Peter] Did I tell you about Gozer?
Now, there was a nut.

But did we let
that other dimensional fascist

topple western civilization?

Uh-uh. We're Ghostbusters.

And when there's a job to do...

[yawns]

[all] We do it.

That's all very fascinating, Dr. Venkman.

But, uh, Celebrity Magazine sent me here

to do an interview
with all the Ghostbusters.

So far, you're the only one
who's been talking.

For 2 hours, 22 minutes,

you were.

We can't just stand here

Dissolving.

No, I don't think so.

I think it's more like...

They're returning
to their original primal state.

Like something is calling them back.

[all exclaiming]

I wouldn't have believed it

[Alice] Dr. Spengler, just as those things
were being sucked away,

I could have sworn I heard,
well, it sounded like chanting.

Sounded like "Necksa."

According to Tobin,
Necksa was the Lord of the Undines,

Master of all the Water Elementals.

One of the most powerful
of all the primal Gods.

Then the force that pulled
those Undines away from us...

It was Necksa.

Hey, if the water supply is haunted

and the water's coming
from the East River,

then doesn't it stand to
reason that this Necksa is...

[Peter] Had to open your big mouth,
didn't you, Winston?

When we beat up all those water demons,
do you think we scared it off?

[Egon] Uh-uh.

My guess is, we made it angry.

We make it angry

We're so heroic, it's sickening.

[Ray] Well, I'm glad
we made Alice wait back in the dock.

This could be big trouble.

I think the big trouble for Peter
is gonna come from Alice.

Thanks, Winston.

Look, Necksa, sweetheart,
this world isn't for you.

You said it yourself, times have changed.

You're not used to us humans.
And we're not awfully big on you.

What say you and the kiddies settle down?

Some place where there aren't any humans?

Say, Antarctica?
Maybe find yourself a wife

there's gotta be a cute little Nexette
out there, somewhere.

Yes, yes, you have Necksa's word.

I will return your friends to you

[Egon] There's just one thing
I still don't understand.

What's that?

[Egon]
How could you have created something

as sophisticated as this microwave device?

It was easy.

And if he'd just said no once more,
I'd have let him have it.

This baby could take him.

But, of course, it's a good thing for him
I didn't have to.
