And now to today's story, starring me.

And NOT starring Nannete Manoir.

Most days orange is the colour that is my favorite

colour, and I would not be caught in pink polka dots

for all the fruit in Fruity Flakes,

but now I have no choice on account of my poison ivy

which I didn't get because of me.

It happened at our annual once a year family picnic,

where we were supposed to have so much fun,

I was minding my own P's and Q's,

designing a deluxe super ant farm for those little ants

I was going to collect for All-Creatures-Great-and-

Small-Week at school.

Too bad baby-size forces make it hard

to mind your own business.

Cut it out, Baby Lulu!

Mom, can I go blind from baby-spitted

grape juice in my eye?

Ahhh, smell that kids?

It's the call of the wild!

Which is what my dad calls nature on account of some

ancient scouting merit badge.

[HOWLS]

And that is what he calls nature calls.

Everyone hold tight while your old Eagle Scout Dad

scopes the area for poison ivy.

Angela, sweetie, keep an eye on Lulu while I unpack.

But my eye got enough of Lulu in the car.

[CHUCKLES]

Here's some poison ivy, right here!

Oh, and here are her Astro-Nutties in case

she gets hungry.

But why can't Derek and Mark keep their eyes on her?

They're just playing!

We're not playing, freckle-head.

We're practicing.

Yeah, practicing, playing.

I told you to stay inside or your poison ivy

Oh dear, well that's a shame honey,

after all, your sister's just a baby.

And I'm beginning to think a baby is the worst kind of

Why can't Lulu be more like a grown up kid?

"Please, sister Angela," Baby Lulu will cry,

"Help me to be a better sister you might even want

So now school is finally over for the day and me and

Gina Lash are trying to get Johnny Abatti to tell his

Nonna to give us free pizza free for our girls club

meeting which is for girls only.

Hey wait a minute, if it's for girls only,

then I can't come.

Angela: Exactly, Johnny Abatti.

But that doesn't mean your pizza can't.

Um, okay.

Hey, Nonna. How's it going?

JOHNNY!!

What?

I didn't do nuthin'.

No, it's not for you.

Hey, Johnny's used to dirty laundry.

[SNIFFS]

You have to remind me?

Now our poor Johnny knows what he doesn't

need to know!

What do I know?

I think you're moving, Johnny Abatti.

I'm movin'?!

Um, Johnny, are you gonna eat that last slice?

You know, Johnny, whenever I get bad news,

I find working on a needlepoint notion

brightens my spirits.

But Johnny Abatti does not have to brighten his spirits

on account of he is not going to move.

I'm not?

Not any more.

Because I, Angela Anaconda, think I have a plan.

All: What is it Angela?

Ahh, I think I will have to tell you after I actually

think of the plan that I think I'm going to think of.

You know, Angela, I think you got something there.

Yeah, it's going to be a great plan, Angela.

But in case it somehow goes awry and you do have to

move, Johnny, do you think I could have your telescope?

My telescope?

You don't want to risk packing something as

delicate as that.

Yeah, and I think your autograph book of pro wrestlers

autographs might be too delicate to pack, too!

And that fancy new bowling ball you got for your

birthday is probably too heavy to pack,

so maybe you should give it to me.

Or another option is to give it to me.

Johnny Abatti, are you listening?

There's more to Johnny that just a bowling ball!

Hey yeah!

I'm more than just a bowling ball!

Excusez-moi, but where might I find John?

I'd like him to be the first to receive an invitation

to the going-away party I am throwing in his honour.

You're throwing him a going-away party?

Who else?

Well I am sorry, Nanette Manoir,

but if anyone should throw him a going-away party,

it is me who it should be.

Oh really?

Well if that's true, why aren't you throwing him

a party, Angela?

But I am.

It's just that, um, my party is going to be a surprise.

Yeah, yeah, that's right.

A surprise.

A surprise, is it?

Not for long--

Oh John, I have something to tell you!

She means I have something to tell you,

Johnny Abatti, on account of I am giving you a surprise

party for going-away!

Really?

But seeing how Angela has spoiled the surprise,

may I present you with this engraved invitation

to my going-away party pour vous?

You're both giving me parties?

Nanette: Apparently, yes.

There will be Angela's so-called "surprise" party

and my fabulous, fully-catered soiree.

What do you say, Johnny Abatti?

Cool.

Here Johnny, I want you to have my old inhaler.

It's all out of anti- histamine,

but I know how much you liked the sound it made.

Gee thanks, Gordy.

Oh John, did I tell you my party is going to be a

Mardi Gras party, which is French for costume ball?

Sounds good to me.

Well Johnny Abatti, on account of I am you're real

friend and know that last week you wanted to be a

fireman, my party is going to be a fireman party!

With a real live fireman.

Sounds good too.

Oh and by the way Johnny, did I mention that I'll be

having your favorite party game,

dunking for apples with money inside.

How gauche.

At my party we'll be playing sur la donkey.

That's French for "Pin the Tail on the Donkey".

Oh yeah!

Did I happen to mention that the fireman will be a

singing Fireman?

[LAUGHS]

Oh s'il vous plait, Angela Anaconda.

My party planner Pierre, will be bringing a real

French mime, Pierre n'est parler.

Angela: So, at my party we'll have Abatti Pizza,

"Best In Town!"

Nanette: Well, my party will be at Abatti's!

Yeah? Well, um, so's mine!

They both sound like great parties,

but I guess what really matters is that Johnny's there.

Oh yeah, Johnny, him.

So, you got a couplea ladies fightin' over ya huh?

That's great kid, you got the old Abatti charm.

What's this for, Nonna?

So you don't have to eat anything from the hotel

mini-bar. It'sa too expensive!

Hotel? What hotel?

Where your family is gonna move while they fumigate

your house for bugs.

Your father had to marry that woman!

I told him she couldn't clean!

The shame of the fumigator!

You mean I'm not really moving away?!

W-well I'd better go tell Angela and Nanette!

Whoa-whoa-whoa!

Johnny, what are ya, nuts?

If you tell 'em you're not movin',

then you got no party, and no more treatin' you all

special like eh'.

Uh, I dunno Uncle Nicky, I think I should tell 'em.

Both of them were pretty upset when they heard

I was moving.

Well, Gordy was upset, I think.

Johnny, listen to your Uncle Nicky on this one,

trust me, I know women.

You sure?

You bet I'm sure!

And another thing, you can't go to a party

dressed like that!

Hey, Uncle Nicky, I can see myself in my suit!

That's how the ladies like it:

so's they can find you in the dark.

We're here for my party.

[GASP]

Don't tell me your party is at the same time as mine!

Well in case you didn't know,

I think it is your party that is at the same time

as mine, Nanette Manoir!

Well my party should be first.

My mime will be arriving any minute!

Well what about my singing fireman?

You never know when he might have to go put out a fire!

John, your suit, It's so, bright.

Wow, Johnny, I can see myself in it!

Yeah, quite a suit, huh ladies?

Eh, but nothin's too good for my nephew.

Which reminds me, eh, Johnny -- don't go hanging it up

on one of those cheap hotel wire hangers.

Hotel?

Cheap hotel?

Yeah, go home before the fumigators seal your place

up and uh...

Fumigators???

U-you know, I think I hear pizza burning.

Johnny Abatti, what is Uncle Nicky talking about?

John, does this mean that you're not actually moving?

Uh, well, um, yeah?

It's your move Johnny Abatti.

Aren't you going to move?

No?

Then perhaps it is time for me to 'king' you.

Oh no, it is Ninnie-Poo!

Here to crash my surprise revenge party.

According to her party planner,

it's time to play Pin the Tail on the Abatti.

Excuse me, Nincom-Noodle, but I believe that belongs

to me on account of this party is invitation only!

Yeooowww!

What's that, Johnny?

You're ready to bob for apples?

Well why didn't you just say so?

Hey, not so fast, Johnny Abatti?

My revenge is not done yet!

"But I didn't do nuthin'," Johnny will say like always.

"The party was Nanette's idea! Heh."

And for once in my life I will listen to Johnny

on account of this time he is right.

It was Nanette's fault!

"Help me, Help me!"

Nanette will beg.

"Get me out of this sticky situation,

that I have gotten myself into on account of trying to

plan a better party than yours."

Sorry Nincom-Noodle, but I think you forgot:

mimes cannot talk!

But don't fret, Little Nin, for all is not a lost cause.

It's time for me to throw a party for you.

Hold still, my prissy party pal cause the fun has just begun!

Steee-rike!

Au revoir, John, I'm leaving.

And even though I've wasted my afternoon,

at least I don't have to stay in this greasy pizzeria

one minute longer.

I guess you're leaving too, huh?

No way, Johnny Abatti!

Just because you're not moving away forever,

doesn't mean we still can't have a Nanette-less party.

And you're not mad at me?

That all depends, Johnny Abatti,

on if you're still planning on giving me

your fancy bowling ball.
