Tempers erupted between Joe and Dustin.

Now that Dustin is here, it completely screws up my game.

NARRATOR: d*ck and Daniele were forced

to deal with their troubled relationship.

And Jen was forced to deal with a troubling photograph.

I want to cry.

That's the ugliest picture I've ever seen.

I've never taken a worse picture.

It's horrible.

NARRATOR: With Kail in power--

applicable situation in order to keep the heat off of Kail,

because it was based in fairness.

It's time to pick players for the Veto competition.

The winner of the Veto could upset the balance of power

in the house by taking one of the nominees

off the chopping block, including themselves.

Only six HouseGuests will participate--

the Head of Household, the two nominees,

and three other players selected by a random draw.

I, as Head of Household, and the two nominees

will each pull a ball out of the bag to determine

the three other players.

In addition to ba*ls with players name,

if you pull Houseguest's Choice, then you

are allowed to select a player to participate

in the Veto competition.

The only person I didn't want to be picked was Jen.

When Carol picked my name, I was excited, because I kind of

want to win the Power of Veto so I can

keep the nominations the same.

I also have to choose a host, and I choose Jessica.

I was very excited to be the host in the Veto competition,

because I wanted to be a part of all the action.

The six HouseGuests who are playing

should join me in the backyard.

Everyone else, please go to the HOH room.

There were some of us that weren't allowed

to play in the Power of Veto competition,

and so we had to hang out in the HOH room

while they were competing.

Nick's the only guy out there, and I'm the only girl in here.

and the five girls are playing. - How funny.

If you win the Power of Veto, you

have the chance to change the nomination or keep it the same.

Hide and seek probably seems like child's play

to all of you, but today, it could

be the difference between staying in the Big

Brother house and going home.

Each of you will be given a Veto box

and put into an isolation booth so you can't

communicate with each other.

One at a time, you will enter the house

and find a place to hide it.

After you've all stashed your Vetos, the fun begins.

It's time to hide the Vetos.

I'm definitely going to try to win the Veto.

I suppose I kind of have something

to prove to the house.

I'm the youngest, and I'm also the smallest

person in the house.

I'm very competitive.

I decided to hide my Veto in the bucket of slop,

because nobody in the house likes slop,

so I guessed that that might be a good place.

It was hard to find a place, just because everything

seemed so blatantly obvious.

I hid my Veto in between the mattresses of d*ck's bed, just

simply because I was just really hoping and praying that nobody

would want to touch his stuff.

My daughter and I do play hide and seek,

but it's not my best game.

I'm not the best hider, and I'm not the best seeker.

I couldn't find a good spot for the life of me.

Like, it was ridiculous.

I didn't know where to hide it.

I had no choice but to put it inside of the pillow case.

Basically, I felt a little rushed,

so I just kind of chucked it underneath the bed.

I felt pretty good about my hiding place for the Veto.

If I had more time, I would have straightened each and every one

of those tea bags out.

I ran to my room, and I immediately

knew that I was going to put the Veto in my hair bag.

I was % confident that my Veto would not be found.

No one else has hair extensions in the house.

And I want to be clear, I don't have a hair weave.

I don't want America thinking my hair is not my hair.

It's my hair.

The last one found was the winner of the Veto competition.

by any of the other players.

I was really hoping that it was going to be Amber's, just

the Power of Veto for myself.

When Carol came out, I prayed, while I was sitting there,

that Carol didn't find mine.

I went into the house, and I was trying to be considerate

and not really tear it apart.

I was so happy.

I wasn't in the HOH room, because I

knew it was none of my things.

It wasn't pretty.

You walk down those steps and see

how it would be for somebody--

down from that first night.

It was the hardest thing.

And within the mattress pad was the Veto.

As more and more Vetos kept coming out,

it made you nervous to think that those were

yours that were being found.

Coming out with a Veto in my hand felt good.

OK, there's two Vetos left, but you only

need one to finish the game.

Everyone was having such trouble finding the Vetos.

Where is it?

Can I just find one?

It was fun.

And I like to feel like, you know, like a kid again,

and I couldn't get in trouble.

[music playing]

Now, this is just a violation.

I was definitely ready to go off on whoever

dumped my dirty clothes bag out on my bed.

That was-- I was totally violated,

and I actually took time to put some of my dirty clothes

back in my bag.

b*tches.

There was a box of iced tea packages.

For some reason, that was the only thing that

still had something left in it.

And I found the Veto.

[music playing]

That doesn't look fun.

It was really embarrassing, and I was hoping for Carol's Veto

is going to have to fight to stay here.

It's gone beyond the point of just being like, oh, you annoy

because you're so beautiful.

You annoy me because you flirt with everybody

and I get jealous.

Stupid, little, tiny things like that.

I should use the Veto tomorrow.

Being the owner of the first Power of Vetos

is a really stressful decision.

There's a lot that goes through your head--

a lot of different options weighing out

of different scenarios that could happen.

If I decided to use the Veto on Carol,

it could be a good decision to keep her around,

because she's not too much of a game player,

which could be to my advantage.

Amber could be a risk keeping around, only

because Amber is here to win.

She's one of those people who gets along with everybody

in the house pretty well, and that could

be risky to keep her around.

Everyone to the living room.

It's time for the Veto meeting.

I really hope that Daniele does not change my nominations.

If she took someone off, I would really

have to contain myself not to, like, want to get back

and take her down.

I'd have to do some quick thinking.

This is our very first show moving.

Amber, Carol, you have both been nominated for eviction

this week, but I have the Power of Veto

to veto one of those nominations.

I would like to give you both your last opportunity

to tell me why I should use my Veto on you.

And Carol, we'll begin with you.

I'm just really wanting to compete longer,

and I'm not ready to go home yet.

Amber, you can go ahead.

I deserve to be taken off the block

this week because my journey here

has been an amazing journey.

It's not that I don't want to disappoint my family,

but it's just, it's the first week, and you know,

I'm enjoying my time.

I'm enjoying spending-- having relationships with everybody,

having fun, doing fun things.

I just want to continue on as long as I can.

I don't feel that I want to go home the first week.

I just want to tell everybody that I'm really excited,

and I'm very honored to be the first winner

of the Veto competition.

I've been thinking a lot about different things

that would stir up the house a little bit, and some of you

might be surprised, and some of you might not be surprised.

My decision-- not to use the Power of Veto

and to keep the nominations the same.

And this Veto ceremony is adjourned.

I chose not to use the Veto because it's

too early in the game, things that don't need to be

all stirred up in the house.

I don't want to be the first one to do it.

Give me a couple weeks, and we'll see where it goes.

I am by far the most determined and focused

person in the house.

I have to keep strong, keep my head strong,

and I want to walk out the door the last day standing,

and my family will be waiting for me.

I will be pushing, and I will be fighting.

I am a really strong competitor, and I will not give up.
