Welcome to the first live eviction of "Big Brother."

ANNOUNCER: Previously on "Big Brother"!

strangers began the battle

for three-quarters of a million dollars

and a twist quickly divided them into four teams:

the Queens,

the Kings,

the Aces,

and the Jokers.

Frenchie became the first Head of Household of the season.

CHEN: Congratulations.

Not only is Frenchie safe,

but his entire team is safe for the week, as well.

ANNOUNCER: And promised safety

to nearly the whole house.

Every one of y'all are safe.

Every one of y'all, I promise.

I refuse to nominate women this week.

I really appreciate that.

You are nowhere, not even... a thought.

I appreciate that.

ANNOUNCER: The farmer then secured

a final two deal with Brent...

Let's just final-two this, like...

Yeah. I'm all for it.

Yeah, let's do it.

ANNOUNCER: And another with Big D.

Are we gonna do this, like,

final-two type...? Yeah.

Okay.

ANNOUNCER: But Big D also had an alliance cooking

with Kyland, Tiffany,

Azah, and Xavier.

That was the first thing we talked about.

You know what we talking about?

Mm-hmm, the Cookout.

I love it, though. Me, too.

ANNOUNCER: Wanting a meathead gone,

Christian was Frenchie's only option.

Now that I'm good with Brent,

that only leaves one last meathead.

ANNOUNCER: But a new twist, called the wildcard comp,

secured safety for Christian.

You have won the first wildcard competition.

[cheers and applause]

Whoo!

ANNOUNCER: After thinking Christian and Alyssa

were more than friends...

The only dadgum thing I can't stand more than a meathead

is a showmance.

I got to break this up quick.

ANNOUNCER: ...Alyssa found herself

on the block next to a pawn.

I've nominated you, Kyland, and you, Alyssa.

ANNOUNCER: Soon after,

Frenchie learned he was mistaken about Alyssa.

I love Christian as a friend, but we're not like that.

I got to figure out my new target.

ANNOUNCER: So after a reconnaissance mission

put Derek X. on Frenchie's radar...

[whispering]

We have to protect this house.

ANNOUNCER: ...a new target was born.

You just became my target, buddy.

ANNOUNCER: With the veto on the line...

[bell ringing]

...Derek X. got a crucial victory.

Congratulations, Derek,

you have won the golden power of veto!

ANNOUNCER: And Frenchie quickly put the pressure on him.

I would like the veto used.

You would like-- okay.

If we don't get Travis this week,

we're going for Derek next week.

ANNOUNCER: At the veto meeting...

I have decided to use the power of veto

on Kyland.

ANNOUNCER: Frenchie went back on his word

to the Hawaiian stallion.

Travis, please take a seat.

ANNOUNCER: Tonight, either Alyssa or Travis

will be the first evicted from the "BB" House.

And with Frenchie's reign of madness coming to an end,

a new Head of Household will be crowned.

CHEN: Good evening, I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Welcome to "Big Brother."

It's only been a week since the game began,

but with Frenchie as Head of Household,

there's been enough dizzying strategy

to fill an entire summer.

Within the first hours of his HOH reign,

Frenchie basically promised the entire house safety,

except for Christian.

But when Christian saved himself,

Frenchie was forced to go back on his word,

nominating Kyland and Alyssa.

And when the veto was used to save Kyland,

Frenchie went back on his word once again.

Now Alyssa and Travis sit side by side on the chopping block.

Who will be the first houseguest sent packing?

We'll find out soon enough.

But first, his nominations may finally be in place,

but this HOH just won't quit.

This veto meeting is adjourned.

I decided to use the veto on Kyland

because one, he shouldn't have been on the block at all,

and then two, it helped me regain favor with Frenchie,

because this is what he wanted me to do.

[sighs]

[whispers]: I got you.

Seeing Travis go up as a replacement nominee

is heartbreaking, because he is on my team.

But I am just beside myself with excitement

to actually be safe.

Welcome. Thanks.

It obviously sucks I'm still on the block,

especially on week one,

but it definitely helps that I'm next to Travis,

because he's a way bigger threat than me.

I definitely am just gonna keep laying low

and make sure I do have the votes this week.

[whispering]: I love you to death, man.

I got all the pressure in the world.

[exclaims]: Something finally goes right.

My ultimate goal this week was to get out a meathead,

and guess what.

He's sitting on the block

and at the end of the day, the stud bull's going home.

There's a lot of time, man. Yup.

Very, very first move-in group,

it was myself, X, and Big D

with Mr. French himself, and he gave us his word

that we would be completely safe

throughout the entirety of his Head of Household-ship.

That's obviously not really the case now.

He's a liar and he can't be trusted.

So Frenchie, if I go out, I'm taking you down with me, my man.

How you doing?

I mean, I know what's happening and...

Mm-hmm. I don't want

to give away anything.

I told him we definitely, him and I need to lay low.

Mm-hmm. Just for this week.

Yeah, right. Because Travis can use that

to his advantage.

He has time to-- today is only Monday.

Guess what-- you're not the only one working for you.

Mm-hmm. You got me,

X, Sarah Beth...

...all working for you to get those votes.

I mean, I told you from the moment

your face got up there, you're not going home.

Do you think he could pull it?

Like, if I go home,

I'm going home for nothing, for no reason.

We're not gonna let that happen.

It turns out that Frenchie's name

is a great substitute for the F-b*mb.

I don't know what the French you thought but,

let me tell you what really is going on.

If I don't survive the Frenching block this week,

I am totally Frenched.

So this is what's going down.

From the moment we were outside...

Uh-huh.

I saw you, like, analyzing everything,

analyzing people, like, taking everything in.

I was, like, "Okay, he's thinking, like, just like I am."

Mm-hmm.

I always wanted to find, like, a core.

Okay. And it's got to be people

that are, like, competitors and that

aren't afraid to go toe-to-toe with everybody.

Yeah. Yeah.

So if we can get that, so we have, like, the numbers,

and call it, like, the Slaughterhouse.

For years, I always watched "Big Brother"

and I always wanted to start an alliance

called the Slaughterhouse.

Aggressive.

First of all, you got Xavier.

To me, he's the biggest threat in this house,

so I definitely have to keep him close.

Whitney, on the other hand,

I need somebody that I can bond with in this house

and we're both parents.

People won't see you coming. Yeah.

We're very different people. Yeah, exactly.

To the core, and, uh...

And, like, super-strong competitors.

Yeah. We can do some damage.

This is, like, my dream team.

You need to grab more people, and be, like, "Hey,

I want to talk to you, too." Yeah, need more people.

Absolutely.

Just go in here and lock the door.

They can't hear us.

My intentions of a Slaughterhouse alliance

are simple.

My biggest threats in this game, I've got to get close to them.

You got Kyland and Christian.

Both of these guys are powerhouses in this game.

Here's the game plan.

There are five of us in this room right now.

This is who I am ready to ride or die with.

I also want an alliance to where

they can herd around me

and I'll actually have protection next week.

Everybody in this room right now

is going to the end of this.

We need to bring everybody into the room

and officially form the Slaughterhouse.

I want to get us all in here... Mm-hmm.

And be, like, "All right..."

We need to make this, like, official-official.

Fact of the matter is, I need the numbers.

Everybody in here has no idea

that they were hand-selected for a single purpose:

keeping me safe.

What they don't realize is,

I don't trust half of these people in this alliance

and I got to keep a close eye on these people,

and what better way to do it than to bring them in close?

Whoo! I tell you what, I'm something else.

So point blank, like, everybody is, like, % in this, right?

Yeah. Yes.

I bring in Alyssa.

She reminds me of my little sister.

Yeah, I know, I nominated her.

There's no stopping this group...

I've got Derek F. and Brent.

I've got final two with these guys.

I definitely want them in this group.

The only way this blows up is if...

One of us does something stupid,

and I don't think any of us would.

The Slaughterhouse is a lot of people.

I don't know if this is gonna work.

I'm going to play along with the Slaughterhouse right now,

but if this plane gets shot down,

I have my parachute and I'm the first one off of it.

I like the Slaughterhouse as a concept,

but there are people within the Slaughterhouse

who definitely have had tension.

So we'll see how it goes.

[exclaims]

Being a member in the Slaughterhouse alliance

could have not come at a better time.

It still worries me that I am still on the block,

but as long as the alliance sticks with me,

I think I can get the vote.

Now I have to set myself up, all angles.

Forming Slaughterhouse is great,

and be covered all the way around.

"I want an alliance with all girls.

Like, I want..." You want an all-girl

alliance plus Frenchie? Yeah.

An all-girls alliance

led by Frenchie,

who isn't a girl.

Because that makes complete sense.

He wants to keep us close so he can control us,

manipulate us, and gain information from us.

So no-- no thanks.

From what I recall,

usually girls start girls' alliances.

I don't think I need to be in a girls' alliance

We don't trust Frenchie.

For Ky's birthday, what we want to do is be, like,

"One of the lucky ladies is going to be

but ultimately, I'm still down to clown,

and I'm going to show that to my fellow houseguests

that I'm a person that has a great time,

even in the face of adversity.

having one less team member for the HOH.

That's going to create a whole lot of chaos.

Travis is sitting on the block and Frenchie has already said

that he's coming for a big target this week.

A big old fish.

It is imperative that all the Queen members

stay in the house this week and Alyssa goes home,

because if one of our team members wins HOH,

we win safety for the week,

and I want to have all of the safety I can get.

[whispering]: If he was to tell Frenchie, like,

"Hey, like, if I'm here next week, I am a target.

If she's here next week, she is not."

Right. Yes.

That statement... And everybody in the house

is already willing to vote you out this week.

If you're in the house next week,

it would be easy to put you back on the block.

Yeah. You know what

you can offer him?

"I can offer you a shield,

"because you are possibly a target for next week,

"Frenchie-- I can offer you a shield.

What can she offer you?"

Which takes the target off of him,

because he's [muted] scared... [indistinct chatter]

Completely worried about going up.

I'm just gonna kind of present points that I have

that I think will very much benefit both of your games.

My man Mr. French has a lot of sway in this house,

meaning your boy has to go do some swaying of Mr. French.

Hopefully I can take that target off my back,

and, uh, I do have a business degree,

so it's time to get selling.

The first one being, uh, my loyalty.

Have I not told you the-- I said, "The one thing

about Travis is, he's extremely loyal."

Absolutely.

I know this. Okay, okay.

Point two, and you've expressed it a lot,

that you think there's gonna be a pretty big target

on your back next week.

If I stayed,

I would easily be the biggest target next week to go home.

That puts a shield over you.

The last question I'll leave you with is,

at the end of the day,

what can Alyssa actually provide you?

I mean, I always heard it was like, the white guy with abs

that kind of gets, gets conked first.

And so I kind of had that superstition going in.

I think I went a little too hard off the beat,

kind of day one, day two action.

Everyone was getting cray-cray and talking a little too much.

CHEN: What viewers at home haven't seen yet

is that right before we came out live on the air,

you tried to blow up Frenchie's game.

You had a feeling you were leaving.

Yeah.

CHEN: What were you trying to accomplish and do you think

you accomplished it?

Yeah, so I mean, I have a lot of honor and respect

for Frenchie, he's here.

You know, Mr. French is playing for his fam,

he's playing for the kids,

and he makes a lot of promises.

But with that, he made a promise to me the first day

I entered the house with the boys,

he said, "All of you guys are safe.

Like, on me as a man, I have you guys."

I told him straight up, I was, like, "That's a bold claim."

And sure enough, he did not uphold it

and people have to know that, you know?

CHEN: Well, you know,

what we didn't see you do that most people do

on week number one is make alliances.

Was that a strategy on purpose, that you didn't try and line up?

Yeah, so I had kind of the early structure, I would say,

of that formulating with Ky, with Derek,

and then hopefully with Frenchie.

But with things playing out and Frenchie starting to

kind of get caught in lies, at least with me,

and with Derek not being able to shut his mouth,

that proved to be a tough group to run with.

CHEN: Well, Travis, in the event that you were

the one evicted tonight, your housemates taped some

goodbye messages.

It's time for the live Head of Household competition.

Free from the threat of eviction,

the HOH must put two nominees on the chopping block.

Let's head to the backyard and get things started.

Houseguests, the power is up for grabs.

Frenchie, as outgoing Head of Household,

you are not eligible to compete tonight.

Remember, whomever wins this HOH

will secure safety for themselves and their entire team

for one week.

This competition is called

Pool Sharks, and here's how it works.

Take a look at the Pool Sharks board in front of you.

One at a time, you'll step up and attempt to hit your ball

into the shark's mouth.

Position one is the easiest shot.

Position is the most difficult shot.

But this game has a twist,

because before anyone shoots, you must first claim

a numbered spot to sh**t from.

And on my go, you will enter your desired

sh**ting spot number on your keypad.

If a number is already taken, you must pick another number

until you claim a spot.

But choose wisely, because with great risk comes great reward.

The winner of this competition will be the houseguest

who sinks their ball into the shark's mouth

from the highest and most difficult numbered spot.

And bank shots are not allowed.
