with Monte, Kyle, Michael, and Nicole.

-At the Head of Household qualifier competition,

-And soon, her ankle started to swell.

-Luckily, my ankle is not broken. It is sprained.

So I'm going to push through and make sure I get the job done.

-With power on the line, it was do or pie,

and Jasmine was the cream of the crop.

-Congratulations, Jasmine! You are the new HOH!

-I just won the freakin' HOH!

-Taylor seemed like the easy target.

-I want to get Taylor out this week

because she's already been on the block,

and I don't want to get anyone's blood on my hands,

so it'll be easy.

-So Pooch concocted a plot to ensure she would go home.

-The number-one rule is never volunteer as a pawn.

How are you going to make this dumb of a move

this early in the game?

-When Poe's Pack learned of the football coach's game plan...

-...they saw a golden opportunity to screw the Pooch.

-If Pooch is going to go ahead and volunteer

to put himself on the block,

I think we may need to strike now.

I'm willing to do this because we need to get Taylor out.

-And she was more than happy to put him in the line of fire.

to get one of the biggest threats out of the house.

But as far as the game goes,

it makes a lot of sense for her to put me up.

-...Taylor also agreed to be a pawn.

But I feel pretty damn good about going to get this Veto.

I totally know what the plan is.

Jasmine told me I'm a pawn this week,

but I can't let everybody in the house know that.

Plus, pawns can go home, so I have to make sure

that I fight for my safety in this Veto competition.

from Poe's Pack Alliance is on the block.

Now we just need to make sure that Pooch feels like

he's sitting pretty as the pawn so that we can blindside him

come eviction night and send Pooch home this week.

I actually asked for it to make sure that we sent Taylor home.

You know, he was never scared to go on the block.

I feel great about the Veto.

Most importantly, I got to make sure

if I don't win, Taylor just doesn't win also.

and Nicole. Although we wanted to get Taylor out last week,

I think our best move is to get Pooch out this house.

We know he's going to be a big threat

to us later on down the line,

and we're really trying to make it to the end.

And as much as I want to trust them,

because of my experience last week,

formed an alliance called the Oasis.

a "shell-ebration" of life under the ocean

and your chance to swim into power

by winning the golden power of Veto.

Here's how it works.

First, you'll all be transformed into mermaids.

Players must use only their head or crown to move their pearls

down their lane and over the sand dunes.

You may touch the pearl with your fins

as long as it's not intentional.

You may not touch the pearl with your hands.

Once you've reached the other end of your lane,

you may use your hands

to clear your sh**ting zone of water beads.

But you may only use your head, face, or crown to take a shot.

After each shot, you must return back to the other side,

retrieve another pearl, and repeat the process

until you have landed a pearl in each of the three clamshells.

The first player to land a pearl

into each of the three clamshells

wins the golden power of Veto.

Jasmine, due to your injury,

do you feel comfortable playing in today's competition?

-I do not feel comfortable playing in today's competition.

if I use my face rather than the top of my head to sh**t it.

So for once, having a big nose may actually come in handy.

is to just get to the end of the sand dunes

and take my time lining up these shots

so I don't have to waste my time or energy

going up and down to get more pearls.

-This competition is absolutely difficult.

I have not been working out my upper body enough.

Being a mermaid is harder than it looks, let me tell you.

-I'm moving well through this course, you know,

but when it gets time to sh**t that pearl into that clamshell,

I haven't gotten one in yet. I'm getting frustrated.

This might be the first time Pooch is having a little bit

of trouble finding the sweet spot.

-I'm using my upper body. I'm using my core.

I'm trying my hardest to use my legs

that are enclosed in a hot fin.

But this thing is just making it impossible for me

to be effective in this competition.

-When I took my first shot, the pearl didn't go in the hole.

But luckily, that pearl is still hovering by the clamshell.

So I'm going to try to use my next pearl to knock that one in.

-I land my second pearl,

and I'm starting to realize I can win this competition.

I'm living my mermaid fantasy, and I cannot let up now.

Pooch is starting to fall behind a little bit,

but I know in the end, Pooch can turn things around.

that makes everything epically slippery.

and let alone don't want to be caught out in the rain.

I'm worried about the passengers in his bus.

I mean, if he's going this slow,

nobody's getting to work on time.

-Pooch just got his first pearl in the clam,

and that's not good. I cannot let Pooch win,

or else I'll be sleeping with the fishes.

because if he comes off the block, later in the game,

it's going to be hard to get him back on it,

which isn't good for my all-girls alliance.

-I've noticed that these water beads

can alter the course of the pearl as it's rolling,

so I want to make sure I have as few water beads

as possible between my pearl and the hole

so that my pearl can roll straight ahead.

[ Indistinct shouting ]

-Focus. -There you go, Taylor.

-Taylor has two!

-Taylor lands her second pearl in her clamshell.

I'm definitely feeling the pressure,

but pressure builds diamonds.

Luckily for me, I have a nice little cluster of pearls

sitting right in front of a bunch of the clamshells.

If I can just aim for that cluster of pearls,

I could potentially hit multiple pearls into the shells

at the same time.

Then I'm right back in this competition.

-I look over at Pooch,

and even though he only has one pearl,

he has a bunch of pearls hovering near the clams.

He could easily come back and win this competition,

so I might have to go for it.

-Michael, let me go for it.

-Taylor and I are tied with two pearls apiece.

Taylor asked me to let her take her shot first.

And I'm thinking if I win the Veto,

I do want to save Taylor, but I don't know

if me using the Veto on her would be best for my game.

So, Taylor, if you can take this shot and save yourself,

go right ahead.

-It seems like Michael's really going to let me go for the shot.

It all comes down to this.

And while I want her to win this Veto,

I can't risk Pooch coming from behind.

So I need to line up my shot,

sink it, and win my second Veto of the season.

-Oh, my God. I just won my second Veto of the summer,

and I am freaking out.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to win this,

but now that I have it,

hey, I'm starting to think that maybe gold is my color.

-I'm a little disappointed. I was so close to saving myself,

and it would have felt so good.

But there is a silver lining in Michael winning,

because if there's anyone out of this group of people,

he's the one most likely to actually use it on me.

-I wanted this one bad. I don't talk the game with Michael,

so I'm not % positive if he'll use the Veto.

But at least Taylor didn't win, so the plan's still in place,

so we should be sending her out once and for all.

-I am so excited when I see Michael win the power of Veto.

Now I just need to work with Michael

to make sure we can keep these noms the same

so that way, we can send in Pooch home,

because I want to get a big threat out of this house

come hell or high water.

[ Splash! ]

-Man, I was going too fast.

I had no control.

And then whoever he uses it on,

there are weaker players

that could go up against either of us and go home.

-I don't want Taylor to think I feel too safe.

I'm definitely giving, you know, "sobby" look,

Everybody in the house knows I went up as a pawn,

I think, except her.

-The house wants me gone.

But I've seen weirder -- happen. -Yeah.

With Michael winning the Veto.

I'm not positive that he'll use the Veto on me,

but I absolutely know he won't use it on Pooch.

I don't want Pooch knowing that I feel really comfortable.

If he does, he'll play a harder game

to stay in the house than me, and I can't have that.

So I feel pretty good about my odds right now.

had been bothering her for a while.

"Well, go to the doctor. Like, what are you doing, you know?"

Whatever. But it got to the point

where she just was going through pain like every morning.

And finally, she went to the doctor.

They did the tests. They found a tumor.

regardless of the type of cancer it is.

-Hearing Nicole's story really touches me, because my mom

is literally my best friend in the entire world.

Nicole is such a strong woman,

and my love for her grows every time we talk.

And she's so selfless that she was like,

"I understand that you're saying that you're doing it for me,

but you have to remember that this is for you.

simply because I have her blood on my hands.

But I came into this house

wanting to work with girls over the guys,

and the girls want Pooch out, so I'm going to support it.

Using the Veto on Taylor

and getting Joseph up on the block next to Pooch

would have guaranteed that one of them goes home

and breaks up their budding bromance.

But ultimately, I felt it was best for my game

to leave Pooch on the block next to Taylor

so that he has no idea this blindside is coming.

As long as Pooch is feeling safe and comfortable

come eviction night, I should be able

to get one of the threats to my game out the door.

-Listen, I would have loved for Michael to go ahead

and use that Veto on me, but I get it.

It's not good for his game.

As long as the girls stick to the plan,
