the house was completely divided.

There was the Leftovers alliance,

and they were secretly working against everyone else,

but caught in the middle were two star-crossed lovers.

-With Monte mounting power... [ Bell dings ]

-Monte, that means you're the next Head of Household.

-...he put Festie Bestie pawns on the block...

-I have nominated the Besties Indy and Alyssa.

-...but he had a bigger prey in mind.

-If things go according to plan,

we're gonna be backdooring Nicole.

-Monte lied to Nicole's BFF about his true target...

-Taylor, this is a cat that has nine lives,

and, you know, we've got to figure something out

to get her out of here at some point.

-...leaving Daniel on high alert.

-After what happened with Ameerah,

if my final two Nicole is sitting on that block,

he might do the same thing this week.

Welcome to "Big Brother."

It's Day inside the "Big Brother" house,

and the blindsides continue.

With the Leftovers running the game,

they seemed fine taking their target off Nicole

and sending Alyssa home,

but in a surprise move, Daniel used the Veto,

paving the way for his ride-or-die Nicole

and her Festie Bestie Taylor to go up on the chopping block.

Why would Daniel do such a thing?

Because he thinks he has the votes

to send his nemesis Taylor packing.

So did Daniel overplay his hand

and unknowingly seal the fate of his ride-or-die?

We'll find out before the hour is up.

But, first, Kyle wanted to save Alyssa

but didn't want to cross his alliance.

Lucky for him, his Bestie gave him the best of both worlds.

-This Veto meeting is adjourned.

-Kyle and I just used the Power of Veto

to bring down Alyssa and Indy.

I wanted to use the Power of Veto after all

because Monte was really pressing

that we keep the nominations the same.

I have not trusted Monte ever since the Ameerah vote.

This is my opportunity to take a shot

at the new alliance that seems to be forming.

-They're all upstairs in the HoH.

Michael and Brittany, Turner and Taylor.

and Monte and Joseph.

She's gonna bulldoze this entire game, I'm thinking.

-He's trying to keep the noms the same.

I want to use the Power of Veto.

I'mma tell you straight up,

it's wild to me and, like, kind of entertaining

that Turner and Taylor,

Brittany and Michael,

Monte and Joseph --

six people working together. -Yeah.

He said, last night, after everyone went down,

We just thought getting the main target out of the house

is best for everyone's games. -For sure.

So, I was in this impossible situation.

I either had to leave Alyssa on the block and send her home

or save her and go against my alliance.

And here comes Daniel, saving her for me,

and my hands are clean.

Unfortunately, I only found out that Daniel was gonna do this

right before the meeting,

so some of the Leftovers were kind of blindsided.

-I am fuming.

I spent all night

making sure that nominations stayed the same.

Daniel probably thinks he has the votes

to keep Nicole in the house this week,

but I don't think he does.

Congratulations, Daniel,

you just backdoored your best friend in the house.

-I tried to hand Daniel and Nicole a life raft this week...

...but it looks like they want to keep steering a sinking ship.

They pretty much sealed Nicole's fate

and, unfortunately, she has to go home this week.

It makes me just over-the-moon happy.

He has definitely built back the trust that was broken last week,

and I feel like we're in a really good place now.

It's, like, the hottest thing ever

when somebody takes you off the block.

I wanted to kiss him right then and there.

when you overthink something and you screw yourself over.

I know telling them this secret

is a big deal for me to be able prove to them

that I'm willing to protect them in order for all of us

to move forward in this game.

I was a police officer for years before I became a chef.

-I think what it came down to was big risk, big reward,

in a sense.

But at the same time, I thought we had the numbers.

I thought we had the numbers

to be able to get enough people on our side,

to keep me safe,

and to finally get Taylor out of the house,

because she had been the main target

for the last however many weeks.

So what do you think happened to the numbers you thought you had?

-Through conversations, I realized

that there was a larger alliance

that was going on post-Ameerah leaving.

So it was a matter of trying to get

who I had personal relationships with

and some game relationships with.

-Your ride-or-die, Daniel, the two of you,

for the last three weeks, were laser focused

on getting Taylor out. -Yes.

-Was that more personal or more strategy?

-For me, it was strategy, because I thought

since I was going along with the Pose Pack alliance

that they wanted her out a week ago,

and so I thought playing the advantage

of making sure that they were happy

and making sure that they felt safe,

therefore I felt safe.

-In the last hours, you started to get the sense,

"I might be the one going home." -Oh, yes, for sure.

-So who do you ultimately think is responsible

for you sitting here with me right now?

-Oh, Monte, for sure.

We had a conversation before the eviction,

and he was very clear on why he didn't trust me anymore,

and it was because I had a side alliance outside of Pose Pack

that he was informed of

and nobody told me that they informed him.

-Well, since you're not a juror,

I can tell you specifics, okay?

-There is an alliance that started to form

the night that you and Daniel confronted Taylor

in the main bathroom. -Ah.

-They're made up of seven people.

-Okay.

-They call themselves the Leftovers.

And they bonded over feeling like

they were the low men and women on the totem pole,

and they also wanted to stop what they felt

was the unfair treatment of Taylor in the house.

And they are the following seven people --

Monte... -Mm-hmm.

...Joseph, Turner, Taylor, Michael, Brittany, and Kyle.

Does anyone in that seven that I just revealed surprise you?

-Not at all.

Not at all.

I walked into the HoH room,

and I brought up my own name for them,

and it only included six of them.

And so Kyle was that seventh person

that Daniel and I couldn't figure out

who was part of their group.

-Well, Nicole, in the event that you were the one evicted,

your housemates taped some goodbye messages.

Shall we watch and listen? -Yes, please.

-Right here. -Thank you.

-Nicole, I only made it this far because you're in this house.

I'm gonna lose my mind without you here,

and I will not leave this house without a fight.

But I was actually the one who came up with the idea

to start a seven-person alliance that backdoored Ameerah

and now got you out this week.

-Nicole, I was part of a new alliance that formed last week.

I fought so hard for the Veto not to get used

so you wouldn't be in this position,

but, unfortunately, even though I convinced my alliance

to leave noms the same, we couldn't convince Daniel,

and that's the reason why you were evicted this week.

-Hey, Festie Bestie, hate to see you outside,

but never volunteer yourself as a pawn.

They always go out before the queen.
