Post by bunniefuu »

-Tonight, everything could change,

as a surprising revelation

forces the houseguests to take a hard look

at the game and themselves.

Welcome to "Big Brother."

-Previously on "Big Brother"...

Kyle speculated about a possible alliance...

-I can't get over the fact that Joseph, Monte, and Taylor

have extremely strong connections

with Indy, Terrance, and Jasmine.

I mean, it looks very similar to the cookout.

-...which left Michael and Brittany feeling uneasy.

-What I'm not gonna do is assume that people

are in an alliance based on race,

or any other factor,

and go after them because of that.

-I completely ,% agree.

-With Turner taking over...

-Congratulations, Turner. -You are the new HoH.

-I am the second two-time HoH of the season.

-...he reunited the Pound Alliance with Monte and Kyle.

-Literally their last interest in this game is the Pound.

[Indistinct]

-The Leftovers are over for me,

and it's all about my dogs in the Pound.

-And they wanted to take out a huge threat.

-I would vote Michael out very easily, if he's up on the block.

And I think everybody would, honestly.

-Yeah, exactly.

-So, a back-door plan was set in motion.

-I've nominated you, Taylor, and you, Brittany.

-Michael is my actual target for the week.

-At a slippery and sloppy battle,

Michael wined and dined on power.

-Congratulations, Michael.

You have won the Golden Power of Veto.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-I was probably going to go home if I didn't win this Veto,

but I saved myself.

Every q*eer kid out there, you are valid,

you are loved, and you matter.

and this is for all of you.

-Brittany and Michael decided it was now time to reveal

what Kyle had said.

After first laying it out to Monte and Taylor...

-He started to talk a little bit more about, you know, like,

the cookout, they all had a unifying goal,

and that really bonds people together.

-I'm like, I'm shaking.

-Soon, the whole house was made aware.

-You just deserve to know.

-Yeah.

-I just wanted to bring this to you

because he is putting your name in it.

-Yeah. That makes me almost emotional.

I hate that a lot.

-And word got back to Kyle...

-They pretty much made it seem like

you were working against Monte, Taylor, Joseph.

-A race thing is what they're pitching.

[ Indistinct whispering ]

-...leaving him worried about the repercussions.

-Race being a factor --

that's a line I would never cross.

-Tonight, a powerful house meeting

will put everything out in the open.

And who will be evicted from the house?

But now that Michael and Brittany have revealed

the game could be shifting yet again.

So, who will wind up on the block

when the dust settles?

And who will be the fourth member of the jury?

We'll find out live tonight.

But first, when last we left, Kyle had just discovered that

his theories about the divisions of the house were now

out in the open, and about to change everything.

-Hey, Brittany?

Can I chat with you for a second?

because it was a dominating force

that was brought together because of some outside factors.

-We just can't assume that that would be the case, though.

Now, whether you recognize that or not is on you.

I recognized that Joseph and Taylor

started to get very close, from my perspective.

And to be honest, I lumped you three in

as a possible break in the alliance.

In my mind, when I think about that group, I started to piece

Joseph, with the Middle Eastern exposure,

that's a very strong why.

Terrance, South Side Chicago.

I just thought that group could unify under,

-Welcome back to "big Brother."

I'm sitting here with Kyle,

who was just evicted by a vote of -.

Kyle, we clearly have a lot to talk about.

Tonight, sitting here with me, comes as no surprise to you.

It's been an emotional week for everyone.

-Yeah.

-How are you feeling right now?

-Man, it was a very, very tough week.

But honestly, I'm feeling so grateful to have

this experience with all these amazing people.

They shared so much love and compassion

for someone as flawed as I am.

Like, I just feel so grateful to have had this experience,

and to have it with these houseguests.

-Earlier in the game, you had a conversation with Michael

saying that you thought there could be

an alliance in the house

trying to do what the Cookout did last year,

essentially being made up of all people of color

working together in a secret alliance.

And you proposed to Michael that you and he,

plus Turner, Alyssa, and Brittany could work together

in a secret alliance.

Did you consider how that might be perceived by your housemates?

-As terrible as it sounds, at the time,

it didn't click in my mind.

And after looking back, and the multiple conversations

with Michael and Brittany, and the multiple conversations,

you know, this week,

I now realize how terrible that was.

And I should have realized it from the start.

And I apologize to everyone watching,

and everyone in the house.

-When you brought up this suspicion you had

to Brittany in the bathroom, she said --

this is a quote --

"We just can't assume that that would be the case."

After that discussion, did the idea of this secret alliance

possibly existing affect your strategy in the game?

Did it weigh on you?

-It...

At the time, it's hard to describe

how I was feeling, 'cause there's so many

different variables that were going on.

And I think one of the themes that Terrance and I talked about

was just the fact that I was overthinking everything.

So, that probably did weigh into some of my decision-making,

unfortunately.

But I also had some very close relationships

with Turner, Alyssa, Michael, and Brittany

that kind of spurred that hope in working together.

And unfortunately, yes, I think it did play into

some of that consideration, unfortunately.

-When the split house twist happened, you made a bold move

by outing the Leftover alliance,

and turning your back on your ally, Joseph.

-Yeah.

-Did targeting Joseph have anything to do with, again,

maybe you thought that he was in this secret alliance

that was only made up of people of color?

-So, no.

At that point, I thought that Monte's relationship with Joseph

was very tight, and I suspected that Joseph's relationship

with Taylor was very tight, as well.

Going into the, you know, split house,

I felt like I was on the outs of the Leftovers.

I was being left out of multiple decisions

on who the target should be each week.

And then, I was put in a position where

I would have to use the Veto to back-door Alyssa,

which I didn't feel comfortable with.

And so, at that point, going into the split house,

I just felt that, you know, the Leftovers were --

I was kind of on the outs with the Leftovers.

And at that point, Joseph and I

had very similar cards to play, and information,

and I just decided I would rather play that card first

before I had to play catchup there.

-You played a hard-charging game.

In the beginning, you were part of Po's Pack.

You turned your back on them to be part of the Pound.

That expanded to involve more people, called the Leftovers.

You blew that up during the split house twist

for the Afterparty.

How much of this had to do with all to protect Alyssa?

-[ Laughs ]

There definitely was a component, especially late game,

where I just wanted to work with her.

And the split house left me feeling ostracized

from the Leftovers.

And the split house gave me an opportunity

to start fresh with Alyssa and Terrance.

And the Afterparty was formed, and honestly, I felt so happy

to be able to finally work and be honest with Alyssa.

And unfortunately, that was short-lived,

but, yeah, that definitely was something

that I was very excited for.

-We're gonna continue this conversation after the show.

We have a lot more to get to.

So, to see my extended interview with Kyle on "Big Brother's"

official Instagram page, @bigbrothercbs, tomorrow.

-Up next, I have a big announcement
