this week, but I think if I did go back on this promise, I think
I would lose a lot of respect from a lot of people.

because I think a lot of people are looking at him
as the ideal person to bring to the final two.

Welcome to double eviction night on our show.
It is Day inside the "Big Brother" house,
and Michael has emerged as a target
for nearly everyone in the game.
But getting him out of the house has been anything but easy.
This week, he won his sixth veto,
breaking a -year-long record
set by BB legend Janelle.
This was also his ninth win overall,
tying Janelle's record for most wins in a single season.
But tonight is double eviction night,
and with Michael unable to compete
in the Head of Household competition,
he could be more vulnerable than ever.
I'll surprise the HouseGuests with the news
of tonight's double eviction a little later tonight.
But first, even with only seven people left in the house,
new alliances begin to emerge as everyone plans their endgame.
-This veto meeting is adjourned.

-This is Terrance's fifth time on the block.
Every time he's nominated, it's always,
"Well, we can get him out later."
If I don't win the veto next week,
there's a chance I could be sitting on the block,
and Terrance is the last person I want to be sitting against.
So he's got to go this week.
-So, Michael doesn't use the veto.
I'm not surprised by it, but I'm still going to fight.
Alyssa is a bigger threat.
She has friends in jury already --
Indy, Jasmine,
and definitely the showmance of Kyle.
So, why would you want me out this house?
That is definitely the argument I'm going to bring
to all the HouseGuests.

-As much as I'd like Terrance to stay in the house,
he's a clear threat, in my opinion.
Compared to Alyssa, he's won more competitions.
And from a game level, he's also been a lot more active
as a ringleader, per se, in social moves than Alyssa has.
So, I think Terrance has to go this week.
-I've been telling Michael that he needed to use this week
to take out a big competitive threat.
I know he thinks that that's going to make him a target
next week, but it's like, everyone is against you, dude.

But just as important are the moves
that I have to make in order to get to final two.
So, does Terrance really give me the best option
to make it to final two?
That's something I got to think about.

If me or you were sitting next to T,
I think we would have a pretty good chance
of winning versus Alyssa.
Alyssa's the only one who acts like she doesn't know anything.
And to me, that is a sign of somebody
who is playing a very great social game.

but the truth is I have multiple paths
to the end of this game, and Terrance only has one,
and it's out the door and to the jury house.
-It's the same pitch he's going to give everybody.
He's counting jury votes for everybody.

-It's not really fun to be in this mansion by myself,

For sure he's more friendly than so many people
that I met in the house.
Life in the jury house is really peaceful.
Kind of lonely, but I really enjoy my own company,
so I'm doing really great here. [ Laughs ]

I am not really surprised about seeing Jasmine today.
It was between Jasmine, Terrance, and Alyssa
because I knew they were not part of the Leftover alliance.
So I was kind of expecting one of them.

I would have loved to win that $,,
but despite being injured so early in the game,
I feel like I gave it all I had.
Not only did I make myself proud,

-Once Terrance put me on notice that Kyle betrayed me,
I had to call a group meeting to give some updates,
and I had to try and pretend
like I was going to go after to BroChella.
I had a very difficult time with the situation.
I was going up against all of them.
I was doing everything I can to fight for my life,
and it just wasn't happening.
I just couldn't beat the tag team of Kyle and Alyssa
just working hard against me.
Jas, sorry, but seeing you here,
I have to say Terrance made the right decision
because I'm rooting for BroChella now.
-I knew Kyle and Alyssa, that showmance,
was definitely a difficult one to maneuver.
It was two against one out there,
and Turner went with the majority.
I think Michael is playing the best game so far.
He has a good say in the house,
and he's been a threat for a while
and keeps dodging the block.

-In this moment, the game kind of changed for me.
About a month ago during Michael's HoH,
there was a situation
where I made some unfavorable comments to Michael,
and they involved race,
which should never have entered the house.
I had the initial thought that there was an alliance
that included Jasmine, Monte, you, Indy, and Terrance.
-No. -Okay.
-I've never even talked game with Monte.
-The only alliances I had was the Pound with you guys
and then branching out to the Leftovers.
-These comments were extremely wrong.
I thought that Taylor might join that proposed alliance
down the road,
and I compared it to the Cookout.
-So, all Black people or just minorities?
-In the sense that...
-The minorities were getting together?
-That was my fear, and that was my statement and comment.
I understand your distrust and hate for me.
I just want to be as transparent as possible.
-It really is hurtful because the whole game I told you,
I was like, "Oh, my God, we have so much in common."
And now it really hurts because I can say we absolutely don't,
because I just would never, I just would never, but...
-If it means anything to you,
I can understand you made an alliance based on race.
But you and me were put in the yard, the minority Arab kid
was doing everything he could to protect you.
-That's not okay. That's not okay.
We came this far.
We have freaking internet.
Like, educate yourself.
I'm sorry. I am sorry.

-I mean, it's been this for the last...
-So, Michael must have used that, too.

I mean, I don't want to say his intentions or what.
But from what they said, they had to gut-check
with me multiple times moving forward
to make sure that that really was the sentiment.
They said a red flag went up,
but it wasn't enough to come forward at that time.
-So why did it come up now?

-What was convenient about it now?
-That was the concern that Monte, Terrance,
and Turner all brought up to them.
-Well, I have an issue with the person who said it
and anyone who hears this and doesn't push back.
-Because if you're in the room when things happen
and you don't stand up for people,
that means you're just as much a part of it, and I'm sorry.
Like I always used to say, if somebody came back to me
and said, "Oh, Joseph said something about me,"
I'm more concerned about the people he was saying it to
because why were you so comfortable to listen to it?
That's how I feel.
-It doesn't negate the fact I was the one
that said those things, and I was the one at fault,
and I was the one that was wrong.
-My heart is breaking to cause this much hurt
to these people that I truly care about.
They've all showed unconditional love for me
even though I don't necessarily deserve it.
So I think it's important that I own and carry my own burdens.

Well, I just want to tell you, Kyle,
these people will never return
the things the way that you did, especially
because we know how hard it should be in those shoes.
-I don't hate anyone, because I think
that's a very strong word to use on someone.
But I also, like... I genuinely feel like
it's not my place to judge.
-Kyle, similar to what they're saying,
you know I think hatred met with hatred only breeds more of it.
You know, me personally,
I'm definitely going to need some time.
I'm obviously extremely disappointed and frustrated,
and I'm hoping you can understand that.

a final three of the girls, and I don't feel..."

She's telling me Alyssa wants to work with people
with "similar characteristics."
She's basically telling me the girls have a final three.
If the girls are working together,
I'm not so sure we should be targeting Michael.
We might just have to start working with him.
If Monte or I take him out, why wouldn't we be right behind him?
-So then I was like, okay, we can leverage this information,
and I have a great idea.

-Me and you and Michael just flip every HoH
for the rest of the season, one to the next,
and then get to the final three. -That could be...bro.

And the fact that Brittany exposed that to you

It's like you have Michael with or against you.

-Michael has been the next biggest target in this house,
and I haven't been alone in thinking this.
I'm starting to wonder if that actually benefits my game.
It really doesn't make sense to take Michael out so early,
because that leaves us more vulnerable
and makes us the next biggest targets in the house.
-I guess as long as he's coming after all the girls
and not us... -Oh, yeah, exactly.
-So, I guess we've just got to get in the room with him.
-Basically, like, just to start the conversation,
people obviously trying to backdoor Michael
and then they're going to make, some way,
us turn against each other,
whether it's an all-girls alliance
or Brittany trying to start a final two with me.
But we're easily the biggest competitors in the house.
The best way for all of us to make it is to work together
and go to the end easily.
-Yeah.
-I can't compete in the next HoH,
so unless Brittany wins,
I'm very likely being targeted.
So if Monte and Turner want to work with me
rather than against me,
my odds of staying just went up a lot.
-Yeah, I mean, it is sort of surprising
to hear that, like, the girls would try to form
something at this point in the game.
-Mm-hmm.
-Especially with Alyssa of all people.
-And between the three of them,
what, they have one HoH.
That was Taylor's.

for my game because at the end of the day,
we're the strongest competitors in the house.
The ladies in the house would probably love
if we all just picked each other off...

and they take that last shot themselves.

-I don't know how... old I was,
but I do remember I had a surf-themed room.
-Oh, that's cool. -I had so many themes.
I was a big themed-room kind of girl.
-Yeah, I had an acting-themed room.

and all my Playbills on the wall.
-We weren't allowed to have anything on the wall.

-I wanted a beach room so badly as a kid, like so bad.
So my parents were like, "Fine.
You're not going to like this, but we'll do it for you."
And they literally bought bags of sand and put sand in my room
and bought me a hammock
so that I could have a beach-themed room.

You had literal sand on your floor and a hammock?
Like, can you imagine?
That sand's going to get everywhere.
Sand is like glitter.
Like, you cannot get rid of it.
-How did the sand not get into other areas of the house?
-It got everywhere all over the house.
It did not last long at all.
-I wasn't allowed to even have colored paint on my wall,
and she had a hammock and sand for a floor.
This sounds like a very Florida type of room.
-And I had, like, beads that were on my door,
and we had wallpaper that was, like, blue
so it was like the ocean.
I can't believe I had a hammock as a bed.
And I would fall out of the hammock every day
and I would wake up on the floor.
My mom was like, "What?"
-Hearing about Alyssa's childhood bedroom,
I mean, this is incredibly bizarre.
Alyssa's parents, what were you thinkin'?

-So, once a week, we get a camera
to do our own filming and show life
in the "Big Brother" house from our own perspective.

then you would not have to take a shot at Brittany,
because you guys are close.
-So for me, I'd probably put up Brittany and Alyssa
because that's what I feel most comfortable doing.
-For you, if you think Alyssa is going to be pissed

-So that would mean I wouldn't have to go after Alyssa,
Michael would not have to go after Brittany,
and Monte wouldn't have to go after Taylor.
I think that's going to be the best chance
any of us have of getting to the end.

I think we're in a good spot, though.

Right now I'm down with the plan to stick

to make sure that we're backing each other

I'm sitting here with Terrance,

Are you pretty upset at the HouseGuests right now?
-Yeah, I mean, that too.
So, you know, that definitely did play a role.
It was like, you know, you had the courage to do something
that you just didn't do.
And you knew that Alyssa's votes, to me,
look stacked in jury right now,
and you had more of a fight, you know,
to get Michael out of the house, you know.
So, that was my thought process with it.
-Well, only Turner, Monte,
Brittany, and Taylor were voting tonight,
and they all chose to evict you and keep Alyssa.
Why do you think they made that decision?
-I think it's a safer situation because of how I think
about the game and how I, you know,
move the game and try to manipulate, you know,
and influence different people to make different moves.
And when you can't control that part of it
and you can control someone, it makes it an easier game.
-You were on the block five times this summer.
-[ Laughs ] I was.
-How difficult was that being nominated so many times?
-It was difficult.
It definitely weighed on me a lot.
Some points, it was just like this
is really overwhelming to deal with.
But then once I got in the groove of it,
I actually started working it to the point where, okay,
now I can play the game from a different parameter.
And I got to make that other person look more of a threat
than I do on the chopping block.
So, it worked for a little while.
-You had some choice words to Michael and about Michael.
-Yes. -Ultimately, is there anything
about his game that you can respect?
-I love that Michael came in with the tenacity that he did.
I love that he is being a competitor,
that he is into the game.
That was a conversation that I had with him early on
because it felt like he had that hesitancy about winning.
And I told him early on in the game that don't lose that drive.
Keep pushing yourself past that part, you know.
Don't let people keep testing you.
And obviously he didn't. [ Both laugh ]
-This past week, you chose Taylor over Turner...
-Yeah. -...to play in the veto.
Why didn't you trust that Turner would have used it to save you?
I mean, you used it to save him
when you were HoH and you won the veto.

I just didn't think about that.
I was really trying to bridge this gap with Taylor because
I've been working so hard to try to get her on board.

So if I tried to just bridge that gap,
I thought I would have had a better in.

The winner of the Veto can use it to remove
one of the two nominees from the chopping block,
or they can leave Turner's nominations intact.
This competition is called "Amp It Up,"
and here's how it works.
On my "go," you must navigate yourselves
and your cable through the turntable stand
in an attempt to untangle your amp plug.
The goal is to untangle enough cable
to get your plug to your amp and plug it in.
The first player to plug their cable into the amp
will win the Golden Power of Veto.

So, who would you have been true to?
Because since the beginning,
Brittany has been your, you know, ride-or-die.
But then we saw you look
like you were forming an all-guys alliance.
-Oh, no, I never wanted to do that.
My game was based a lot on telling people
what they wanted to hear and trying to play the middle.
I knew I couldn't play in this HoH.
So, like, hey, if there's a chance these guys won't
come after me, I'll tell you what you want to hear.
But ultimately, if Brittany had gone tonight,
I would have been loyal to Taylor.
-You would. Okay. So it would have been
number one on your list, loyal to Brittany,
number two, Taylor.
-Yes.
-Obviously, Taylor voted you out tonight.
Are you mad? -No.
-Surprised? -I'm not.
I think it was a big shot. I don't blame them.
I think they made the right move,
so I can't be mad about it.
It's a game.
I love this game so much, so all I can do is respect it.
-You have, any time your back was up against the wall,
you would manage a win.

But did you ever think, you know, "I'm putting
a big target on my back being such a comp beast?"
-Yes, absolutely.
Early in the game, when you're nominated early,
you have to win to stay in the house.
It becomes an easy cycle to put up the person who was up before.
So I had to start winning, and then by the time I was like,
"I don't feel like I have to win,"
I already had racked up like five comp wins.
So it was like, there's no shrinking that target now.
I'm just gonna go for it.
And coming in, I never really wanted to throw a comp.
And if that's what got me here, that's what got me here.
I think I would have been here regardless.
-You surpassed "Big Brother" great Janelle
in more veto wins than Janelle.
How does that feel, to be the same, I mean...?
-It's crazy, Julie.
Coming in, I thought I was going home first.
I was like, I'm not going to win anything.
So to be here with nine comp wins, six PoVs, that's insane.
-Are you saying you surprised yourself in winning so much?
-Absolutely. -Why?
Are you not good at games?
-I was a weird kid,
and I did, like, weird games that I made up for myself.
And they really helped out here,
so I shouldn't have been surprised.
But I fell like I underestimate myself a lot
and I don't give myself enough credit,
so hopefully I will moving forward.
-You're a beast, Michael. -[ Laughs ]
-Final thoughts?
-Oh, Julie, I had so much fun playing this game.
I love this game.
I have nothing but love and respect
for the people inside the house.
