- The BB multiverse was cracked open

to twist up the game.

On opening night, the Scramble-verse

forced the new houseguests into nomination competitions,

and Kirsten, Cory, Felicia, and Jared

ended up on the chopping block.

But the Scramble-verse wasn't done,

as it sent in a "Survivor" legend

as the th houseguest.

- Hello, hello, hello. - Hi!

- Cirie had a big secret.

- The plan coming into this game

is for me and Jared, my son, to stay undetected.

- And Izzy quickly figured it out.

- You're Cirie Fields' son, aren't you?

- Listen, come here.

- Oh, my God, I know exactly who this woman is.

It's Cirie from "Survivor."

And I also know that Jared is her son.

- Nominee Kirsten knew she needed allies.

- The only way to secure my safety in this house

is by building an alliance.

- So after joining a five-person alliance...

all: Phalanx Five! - Shh.

- She then immediately went

and pledged loyalties to Cirie and Felicia.

- You got me. You got me.

- I am there.

You ain't got nothing to worry about.

- But after Jared reported back to his mom...

- Kirsten was in the line of fire.

- The houseguests learned the Head of Household

would be removing two nominees from the block.

- Whoo! You got this. - Nice, nice.

- And Reilly super-sped her way to power.

- I am the first HOH of "BB" .

All of my dreams are happening at once.

- Felicia, Jared, and Cirie went to work

throwing Kirsten under the bus.

- There's one person really that is saying a lot of things.

Kirsten.

- Who are you thinking about?

- You know who I'm thinking about.

- It starts with a K?

- She's just a loose cannon.

A very, very loose cannon.

- At the nomination ceremony, the guys were good...

- Jared and Cory, I have removed you

from the chopping block.

- While Kirsten wasn't sitting pretty.

- My target for the week is Kirsten.

There have been multiple people

who have alerted me to pot stirring,

a lot of scheming,

and I don't see myself being aligned

with someone who is capable of that.

- Tonight, it's the first Veto competition of the summer.

Will the golden power save one of the nominees?

Plus, the game kicks into gear

as major alliances begin to form.

- We're the Bye-Bye b*tches.

- [laughs] - Oh!

- All this right now on "Big Brother"!

- Do either of us look like bidet experts?

- [laughs]

[upbeat music]

- This nomination ceremony is adjourned.

[dramatic music]

I chose to leave Felicia and Kirsten on the block

this week with my target being Kirsten.

Kirsten came into this house g*ns blazing,

doing too much too fast,

and I just can't trust her to work with down the line.

As far as Felicia, I chose her as my pawn

because she is just the sweetest angel,

and she is nobody's target whatsoever.

So I think it's gonna be a successful HOH.

I feel completely betrayed by Reilly

because we were in the Phalanx Five alliance together.

♪

I just have a hard time in general with bold-faced liars.

♪

- I'm just happy as hell to be taken off the block,

but now is not the time to be chilling.

I mean, there's still a Veto, and that means me and my mom

are both still in danger.

I mean, after all, she is a legend,

and I wouldn't be too surprised

if people were talking to try to get her out.

- Look, the Nether Region is scary,

but the block is terrifying.

And to see my face pop up and I'm off,

a billion pounds just came off of my shoulders.

- Mm-hmm.

- Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

- In the very first week, I'm on the block.

It's like, oh, my God.

Okay, I need a cup of tea.

But let's think about last season.

Taylor was on the block, what, four times, five times?

And the girl won.

So I'm not letting that discourage me,

and I'm trusting in my spirit.

Okay, where'd you guys put all the tea mugs?

[laughs]

I feel for her in this moment.

However, I saw this coming.

Kirsten is a hot mess and a loose cannon,

and mm, I don't know

how good that is for me and Jared.

And although I'm happy

that Jared is no longer on the block,

we're by no means safe at all,

because the Veto still has to be played,

and anything can happen.

- The week is still young. - Right.

- %. - Let it out,

whatever you need to feel better,

so you can be ,% for Veto.

- Yeah, yeah, I just need maybe a tissue.

My head's % on the Veto.

Now I think I just have to go as hard as I possibly can.

That's the only way I'm gonna save myself.

- Things can change.

- So here's where I'm at.

You are not somebody I want to see leave the house.

Absolutely not.

I realize that Felicia could very well win the Veto,

so my goal in this conversation

is to reassure her

that she is simply up there as a pawn.

You're sitting next to Kirsten, who's ruffled

every person's feathers so far in this house.

To me, that's a no-brainer.

She has her hand in all the cookie jars,

and all these cookie jars are talking now.

- Right. - So she's--

- The chocolate chips are talking to the Oreos.

- The chocolate chips are talking to the Oreos.

And it's not looking good.

- Yeah. - And I just like--

I want you to know that, like, you, in my eyes,

are in zero danger.

You're absolutely a pawn, pawn, pawn.

- If you're saying that, I'm trusting that.

I don't like being a pawn.

I like to be in control of my destiny,

me and God.

And so the Veto competition is crucial.

And I'll be doing everything in my power to be the winner.

- Everything is going to work.

- Okay. - I know it.

- It's so tough, like, first nom thing,

because, like, right now, it's been just like,

everyone's hanging out.

- It didn't feel real until I saw the keys.

- Yeah. - You want to hear something?

I didn't even know you were on the chopping block.

[music winds down, stops] [bell dings]

[bass note]

[bike bell ringing]

- We were in the competition.

- I know, but I thought you just got away with it.

- Dude, this guy Luke, man.

Like, really, you didn't know that he was on the block?

Either Luke is some secret genius

and he's acting this dumb,

or he really is this dumb.

- When your face popped up, I went--

I didn't even know.

- You thought there was just three?

[laughter]

- Oh, my God.

We finally get to see the backyard,

and it is gorgeous.

It is luxurious.

Oh, my God, it is so much better than I expected.

- Oh, there's the hot tub.

- I think she fell in.

- [laughs]

- You think we could fit five deep on this hammock?

- You know, ever since I got here,

I've gotten really close

to a few people in this house.

- I walked straight out here past the pool table.

- We got Blue, we got Jag,

we got Matt, we got Reilly,

and we got me.

And it just so happens we were all sleeping

in the Scary Room when we first moved in.

- We're all completely different types.

And even though we just met,

it just feels like we've known each other forever.

- Wow. - Aw.

- This is a good time. - This is the life.

- We've even adopted

a pineapple child.

- Yeah. - [laughs]

- He grows up so fast.

- No matter how crazy it gets in this house,

you can always find a little time to cut some rug.

I don't miss nothing.

The Scary Room, it's obvious that

they've gained a connection.

My red flags are up, my eyebrows are raised,

and I'ma keep an eye on them.

I'm super comfortable with everybody in the Scary Room,

but Jag is really who I want to stay loyal to.

That, to me, is the perfect partnership

to make it to the end of this game.

- I don't know if other people are clicking like that,

but I feel like ours is, like--

Reilly is someone that's loyal.

She's a competitor.

She has a lot of integrity.

So solidifying this final two with Reilly

feels really, really great.

[thudding]

[upbeat music]

- So I have my final two with Jag,

and we both feel really confident in our relationships

with the five people that were sleeping

in the Scary Room on night one.

So it's time that we make this alliance official.

We are at the point right now where we need

to solidify numbers and a core.

- I think we're all on the same page here.

I trust you guys.

You know, like, I got your back %.

- We're just rock solid. It's not gonna break apart.

- We're all different puzzle pieces.

- Things are gonna start heating up and moving fast.

We need to make sure this core group

has each other's backs no matter what.

We have people that are smart,

we have the athletic people, and then on top of that,

we got cute girls in this alliance.

It is the coolest feeling securing a bond

with these people, because this is how,

you know, history is made.

It's awesome.

And now, as far as the Veto competition,

our one goal is to make sure that one of us wins

so Kirsten doesn't end up with the Power of Veto,

and we can finish the job for the week.

Of course, the chair is gonna fart

in the Humili-verse.

- The only farts that you smell in "Survivor" are real ones.

They don't come from the Humili-verse.

- Eventually, I will stop fanboying, I promise.

- I'm playing "Big Brother" with Cirie Fields.

I am so excited and so terrified,

'cause she spent the last however many years

destroying kids like me at these games.

She is undoubtedly

the biggest threat in this house.

But at the same time,

I kind of just want to talk to her more.

First of all, let me just--

you got robbed in Micronesia.

What the--you've had some creative ways

to lose "Survivor."

They have to, like, find out

and invent new ways to get you out.

- I got both eyes and feet and hands watching Cory,

because being a superfan

and knowing my résumé that well,

he should know a little better than to tell someone

how good of a player they are.

Mm, not really a smart move.

- I promise to treat you like a real human being

and not like this character

I've watched for however many years.

In a lot of ways, Cirie is the one to beat.

I'm trying to win the whole thing.

And how am I supposed to knock her out?

I have no idea.

I'm gonna have to figure it out.

As long as I'm the one who's there at the end,

I can live with that.

But...

[soft music]

- Where I live, like, the closest Sikh temple to us

is, like, in Canada.

- Are you the first Sikh to ever be on the show?

- I am, yeah. - Ah.

- Yeah. - How does it feel?

- It's cool to, like, be here and representing, you know,

my community and, like,

my family and friends and everything.

- Well, I think you're a really good representative.

- Thank you. I appreciate that.

- I think every time there's, like, a first,

like, you can either reinforce the stereotype

or make people more aware.

- Like, most times, like, if I walk into a room, like,

the first thing they see is not even, like, a person.

It's a turban. - Well, it's just

people aren't familiar, are they?

If you didn't grow up seeing it, then it--yeah.

- Yeah, they're just not familiar.

And--and yeah, unfortunately, like,

a lot of times when folks aren't familiar with it,

they just latch on to the only things that they know.

For me, every day, I'm thinking about

what it means to be walking around

as a brown man with a beard and a turban.

I really try to dispel any negative beliefs

of my culture, of my religion.

And, you know, I think that just happens

one day, one conversation, one smile, one joke at a time.

What background do you have?

- I'm Egyptian. - Egyptian?

- Yeah, yeah. - Okay.

- And it took some time to figure out,

like, what it meant to be...

- Yeah. - Arab in America.

- Yeah, I definitely get that.

Living in a post-/ world

where there was so much, like, Islamophobia...

- Yeah.

- People had some hate

that they're directing towards me...

- Right.

- Because they think I'm Muslim or something.

And it's like, well, first of all, like, I'm not--

I'm not Muslim. - Right.

- I'm Sikh. And second of all,

that's still not okay, even if I was.

- Right. - You know what I mean?

Like, it shouldn't matter. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- You know what I mean? Like...

- I think that's one of the reasons

I'm, like, pretty cautious about sharing it.

- Yeah.

- Not everyone is open-minded.

This conversation with Jag is really lovely.

His story is similar to my story

in how we want to raise our communities up

and make America see us

for more than just the normal stereotypes.

- I think, really, it just boils down to, like,

being a good person, you know, like,

having values and treating other people with respect.

That's what truly matters, you know,

most at the end of the day.

So we really got to create an alliance of our own.

And if we can lock down our side...

- I'm definitely on board to work with these ladies.

I think I can trust them,

but I'm gonna leave the room for a bit

because I don't want to make it too obvious

that I'm in an alliance.

So we're really happy with the Handful alliance.

That is solid.

But we also know that if we want to run this house,

we're gonna need to start recruiting more people.

So we decide to bring in Cory, Jared, and America,

because I think that each of them

will add something unique to our group.

I'm given some good news.

There's a massive alliance, and who else

would be a part of it other than me?

Honestly, just having that level of security--

if they win a competition, I should be good?

I've entered this house, I just want a home.

creating our little group situation.

I know that "Big Brother" is a numbers game.

So as a fan, I am loving it.

Being brought into a big alliance like this is great.

It does give you some safety in this game,

but my mom's name was not listed in that alliance,

and my ultimate goal is to make sure that

we can both make it to the end.

- We knew the split already.

that Jared is being brought into this big alliance,

because I can get information from him.

But at the same time,

Jared's being brought into that alliance,

and I'm not.

So that makes me super, super nervous

about the possibility of me being their target.

I'm working with a lot of people right now,

so I want to pick one of them so I can have people

playing in this Veto that will keep nominations the same,

and we can send Kirsten home this week.

because I need those noms to stay the same if he wins.

Obviously, I love Miss Felicia like everybody else does,

but I can't even have her coming off the block,

because that opens up that seat for Jared or I.

- They do? - Yeah.

- How'd you find out about it?

- Do you want some fruit? - Yeah.

- I'll get a bowl. - Thank you. Yeah.

- You look at who talks to us.

I mean, you got-- it's not rocket science.

So apparently, there is an eight-person alliance,

and I am not in it,

which means I need to win this Veto

so I can keep myself safe.

I'd like to know what kind of fertilizer

"at any moment when you are hoisted in the air high

"by your giant underwear.

"To win this competition, you must stack

"all flower pieces on your vase,

"then press your button with your structure still standing.

"The first person who successfully stacks

"all their flowers and presses their button

will win the Golden Power of Veto!"

[all cheering]

"Now who's ready to play Atomic Wedgie?"

[all cheering]

[dramatic music]

- I want my nominations to stay the same.

I like where it's at.

I have my perfect pawn, and I have a target,

so I have to win this Veto.

I need to take myself off that block.

Nobody wants to be the first one evicted from the house,

and I don't think that's my swag.

[laughs]

- I know how important this competition is.

Since I got information from Cirie

about an eight-person alliance,

it is so important that I win this Veto

so I can make sure I am safe.

- This competition begins now!

[air horn blares]

- In this competition, we have to create

a floral arrangement by stacking flower pieces

on top of the vase.

But at any moment,

we could be snatched up in the air

by an atomic wedgie.

The first person to successfully stack

all the flowers will win the Golden Power of Veto.

- Come on, guys.

- Best-case scenario, either myself,

Blue, or Reilly pulls out this dub,

and we can keep the power in the Handful.

That way, nominations stay the same,

target's on track,

and we can walk to the next week, baby.

- Reilly has promised me that I'm a pawn,

but I can't lose the Veto

and get sent home in the first week.

I can't let that happen.

is to build a really strong founda--

And at the same time, I have to try to stack

flowers on this skinny little vase.

Seriously?

[all cheering]

- It is so hard to sit on the sidelines

and watch these people get the atomic wedgies.

I mean, back in junior high,

I was Mr. Atomic Wedgies.

That was my reputation.

[suspenseful music]

[buzzer blaring]

- Oh!

- Oh, no. - It's okay.

- Atomic wedgie!

- I'm trying to figure out how both challenges

I've been a part of since this game started

have been Humili-verse humiliating.

Why am I doing this to myself?

No one's gonna date me.

[laughs] Like...

- It was hard enough trying to stack the flowers.

Oh, let's just go ahead and sprinkle them up

with some water too.

Then on top of that,

to be getting pulled up by my drawers,

that's a whole lot to manage,

you know, in a competition.

- Who will be the first to bloom?

[buzzer blaring]

- Cameron's super close.

- I don't want to jinx my flower Jenga

that I got dancing right here in the wind,

but I'm pretty close to getting this thing scraping the sky.

[all exclaiming] - Oh!

- It's okay.

- Cameron, you got it. - Damn.

Inches from the goal line, and we fumbled on the one.

Come on, man.

Come on.

- There are a lot of different ways

to stack all these pieces,

but I'm gonna use the laurels in the middle

so I can build on top of them.

Oh, come on, man.

- Wedgie time!

- The Humili-verse is definitely

doing a number on us.

I'm probably gonna need a week in the Chiropractor-verse,

that's for dang sure.

- I look over, and I see that Kirsten

is on her last few pieces and doing really well.

And my heart drops, because if she pulls this off,

my entire plan for the week is flipped upside down,

and I have to start from scratch.

I'm just praying that her stack falls.

[buzzer blaring]

- Oh, Blue loses it again.

[buzzer blares]

- My tower falls, and I'm not discouraged.

I just need to rebuild it before anyone else finishes.

I don't want to have to rely on anyone else

to take me off of the block.

[buzzer blares]

[buzzer blares]

- Starting over. [laughs]

I'm a smart person, but this is really hard.

Maybe if I use the roses, I can widen the base

and finally stack all these flowers.

[buzzer blares]

- Oh!

Reilly loses her entire stack.

- Oh.

[buzzer blares]

- [laughs]

- Kirsten looking good.

[buzzer blares]

- I cannot believe that no one has won this thing yet.

Like, if this keeps going on,

I'm gonna have to wish the winner Merry Christmas.

[buzzer blares]

- Oh.

Hisam loses half his stack.

- God, I have tried so many different combinations,

and I can't seem to solve this puzzle.

Everything keeps falling.

- I start feeling like I can really

bring this home for myself.

I'm full speed ahead trying to figure out

how I'm gonna put these last few pieces on here.

[buzzer blares]

- I am almost there, and I'm worried that

I'm about to lose everything.

My hands are shaking so bad,

and I'm thinking, just breathe.

[dramatic music]

[sighs]

- Son of a b*tch.

- Whoo!

[bell dinging]

Hisam is the winner!

[cheers and applause]

- Yes! - Congratulations, Hisam!

[all cheering]

- I win. [laughs]

And there is nothing I like better.

I love having this power.

Now I just have to figure out how I can use this

to best benefit my game.

Well, I was hoping to win the Veto, and I didn't.

So, Reilly, I'm really hoping you're telling me the truth,

and hopefully Kirsten is the one

that goes on out that door.

It was hard as hell.

- I know.

- Ugh.

Of course, someone who's not in my alliance

wins this Veto.

I can't say for sure

what Hisam's gonna do with it,

but this is just not great.

It looks like my HOH might not be so perfect after all.

- Such a good job. That was so hard.

Even though I lost this competition,

I have no intention of walking out of this house this week.

- I underestimated the difficulty of the situation

and the intensity.

that keeping me is in his best interest.

and I definitely want people on my side,

so I need to decide if helping Kirsten will help me.

because I came second

in the Kicking Butt competition,

second in the first HOH,

and I just won the Power of Veto.

And I don't need to give anyone any more reason to target me.

and I'm not falling into a trap,

not like I fell into that dang hot tub.

there is an eight-person alliance

that did not include me,

to get to work building our numbers

to that eight-person alliance.
