01x10 - Hollywood Plucky

Post by bunniefuu »

You're lucky. It's Plucky. I'm absolutely

ducky. Other shows seem yucky now that

Plucky's on the air. I'm wacky. I'm

quacky. He's an egomaniac-y. Hampton

plays the lucky of this stuff

extraordinaire. Who knows the way to

close his endless babbling beak?Drop an

angle down upon his feathery physique.

Toast him. Roast him. The show will still

be boasting. It's the Pucky Duck Show and

it's on each week His antics are

frantic At times he gets romantic My

talent's so gigantic It'll burst from

your TV The writers are hackers The

artists all with crackers The actors are

yackers But don't complain, it's free

Rocky goes to Acme Lune to learn to be a

star There are other tootsters at the

school But who cares who they are?So

enjoy, don't be coy And don't fall for a

decoy It's the Pucky Duck Show, come and

laugh aloneI also

wrote this song

and the award goes to oh,

I'm really happy. This is really great.

Plucky Duck for the Plucky Duck Story.

Yes! Yes I won! I won!

Pardon me. I'd like to thank my brilliant

director, Mr. Cooperdeville. Now, wait, I

don't want to thank anybody. This moment

is mine! Mine! Mine!

But to my good pals, Buster and Babs, I

do want to say I'm so sorry that

their movie, The Buster and Babs Story,

Bummed. But

that's showbiz. Plucky, wake up.

We're almost there. Huh

Hollywood. I always wanted to come

here. In a mere matter of minutes, we'll

be among the elite, hobnobbing with our

heroes, rubbing elbows with the rich.

Seeing celebrities, visiting Beverly

Hills, going to the beach. And selling

my script, The Plucky Duck Story,

starring Plucky Duck to the man, Cooper

Deville. Of course, we have to meet him

first, but how hard could that be?Well,

figuring in the probability of the number

of people who come to Hollywood each day

in the geometric configuration--

Rhetorical question, Hambrain.

Sorry. Hey, I thought Buster and Babs

were going to come with us. Those

d*adbeats?Uh, yeah, I guess they

missed the bus.

Are you sure this is where we're supposed

to meet Plocky?Absolutely! Well, I

hope he gets here soon. I can't wait to

get our script to Mr. Deville.

What's going on?Hello,

I'm Mary Vane. And I'm

John Face. And this is

Entertunement Tonight.

Tonight, we take a look at Hollywood

hopefuls. Hollywood.

Land of blue skies, palm trees, and

opportunity. Who knows?Today's

waitress could be tomorrow's screen

sensation. With plastic surgery

and liposuction, anything is possible.

And certainly the biggest dream maker of

all is director Cooper

Deville. Yes, it's all waiting for

you here in... Hollywood.

We're here. Hollywood and Vine, the most

enchanting corner in the world. Ready to

mingle with the beautiful people?Sure.

Hello, Holly.

What?Yuck. There must be a

sanitation strike. We've got work to

do. Come on.

HuhWhoWhat?OohHey,

Indiana Jones.

Someone as famous as him would certainly

know where to locate Mr. DeBell. Gee, is

it okay to bother rib?Right and wrong

have no place here. This is Hollywood.

Indiana Jones, how do you do?Plucky

Duck's the name. Listen, I'm looking for

a friend of yours. Goodbye, Duck.

Am I going someplace?

Well, look at it this way. You picked up

two really neat souvenirs.

I gotta get this thing off my feet. But

how?Hey, all aboard for the

blunderbuss tour of Hollywood!

Oh, a tour!Hmm

Perhaps a bit more torque is required.

Hey, Hambone! Help me hook these cement

sneakers over the bumper of that bus!

I'd sure like to take that tour. I've

always wondered what Arnie Johnson's

house looks like. First things first!

Don't try this at home, kids. This should

be done only by trained professional

idiots.

Hey, Plucky!Captain, why are you up...

Okay, kids, on your left is the Hollywood

Wax Museum.

Ohh Oh, Mr.

Deville, you forgot your credit card!

Deville?Mr. Deville, wait, have I got a

script for you!

Hey, I better stop this. I might get to

like it.

You know, people in Hollywood are always

asking me, Biff, and I say, Yeah, what's

your sign?Well, here it is.

The famous Hollywood sign.

Gee, that was a neat tour. Hey,

you got the cement block off. I was so

close to the Ville. Face it,

Hampton. We'll never get to meet the

Ville. Gee, Plucky, I'm sorry. I'll

never show my script. It's hopeless.

Utterly hopeless.

Hey, Duck. HuhSound

like you and a piggy want to meet Cooper

de Ville, huhYes, yes, we do.

Well, you know, like I happen to know

where he's filming his next picture. And

I can even get you jobs as, like,

actors. Us actors?

In the new Deville picture?Yeah, it's a

it's a harrowing tale of the of the

dramatic plight of waiters and valets.

I'm gonna make you a star.

This is terrible. I have a restaurant

full of stars and all my help has quit.

Flavio, where have you been?I've.

Hey, I've brought some actors to play

the parts of the waiter in the valet. You

know, in our new Cooper de Vil picture.

What?You know, our new

picture. Ah, yes,

perfect. You shall play the part of the

waiter, and you, my fine piggish

lad, shall play the part of the valet.

Parker of cars, keeper of keys.

Keys?Your scenes will be played in the

parking lot, so follow me. I'll get you

into a wardrobe. Where's

Mr. Deville?He's a shy director.

He prefers to hide behind the cameras.

Come along. Where are the

cameras?Ohh They've been hidden to

to achieve that documentary effect.

Oh. High concept picture. All right.

You're a waiter. The only waiter in a

restaurant packed with stars. They need

you. They want you. They'll tip you.

And... action!

What's my motivation?To keep this

job! Good enough. I believe I spot a

camera behind that cacti. I am a

waiter, and so I shall wait.

Hello, may I take your order?Hi,

I'm Larry, and this is my brother Darryl,

and this is my other brother Darryl.

What's your catch of the day?Me, lucky

girl you.

She loves me.

And you shall play one of the proud, the

few, the underpaid. You are a green

valet. But I don't know how to drive.

Hey, typecasting, even better.

And action.

Careful, I just had it detailed. Gosh,

it's Batman.

Oh, you stop this thing!

May I take your cape, sir?

Another Hollywood illusion shattered.

Thank goodness I wore my seatbelt.

Earthquake! Call 9-1-1! Call

I hope Deville has me on a close-up. Call

It's the champ.

Well, what can I get you, Mr. Chancellor?

I'll have your Santa Fe fingerlings,

please. I'd have never figured them for a

soprano. A

compact car. Oh, that

shortstop is simple. Hey, snap

out of it!

I'll have a goat cheese pizza, please.

We're proud to present to you the award

for best entree ordering in a lead role.

Thank you.

Waiter, get your feathered fanny

over here, man. Now it's my chance

to show Deville my acting versatility. I

am your waiter. How can I help you?You

call this a Caesar salad?

That's too brutal. Get out of

my salad, duck.

Would you like that soup instead? How

about pressed duck?

Waiter, waiter. I am your

waiter. This food is terrible

and such small portions.

You're a chicken croquette, Captain.

This chicken hasn't even been cooked.

Bones. Give me a reading. It's

raw, Jim. Set phasers on.

Why you have your tum on my stake?I

didn't want it to fall on the floor

again. Waiter. Yes,

sir. There's one thing I gotta

ask you, punk. Where's my wine?

Oh, here you go. Yeah, but I don't

wanna do my homework.

I'm slaying 'em. I'm suing versatility.

Warmth, humor, the film's gotta love me.

Well, perhaps I exaggerate.

No one told me there'd be stunt work in

this picture.

Where's my car?!

I could be wrong, but I don't think they

were filming a picture there at all. What

am I going to do?All I wanted was to get

my movie made. What's not so wrong?

Am I asking too much?Hey,

Plucky, look. What?

That's it?We'll simply go into the studio

and hand the script to Mr. Deville

himself. It's so simple. I mean,

how hard can it be to get into a movie

studio?Uh,

good morning, Mr. Deville.

Deville? We're home free then, old pal.

Maybe he's not getting enough fiber. No

time for a stew decides. We've got a date

with Destiny.

The smell of the footlights. The feel of

the grease paint. The big fat guard's

sleeping. Hold that.

Where do you think you're going?

Hello, I'm Plucky Duck. I'm Hampton.

And we're here to meet with Mr. Cooper

DeVille. I've got a script here that's

just screaming to be made.

Do you have a pass?I

certainamundo.

Acme Luniversity Hall Pass?

Our Almaymater. Well,

I didn't even guess so.

I love this job.

Adrian! No, Adrian!

Here's Chetty.

Thank you very much.

Mother.

Anyone got any super glue?

This is humiliating. Beaten back by a

peon policeman. I've

just got to meet Mr. Deville. Hey,

watch where you're going, bub. OK, we are

about to enter the Deville studios.

Time for a stalwart strategy. Come on,

Hammy. We don't want to keep Deville

waiting. Mr.

Deville is totally, literally, um,

famous and stuff. Remember, no flash

photography. Next stop, I'm out of here.

We'll meet back at the front gate. And

now we'll stop at... I'm gone. Our

really scary shark pun.

I'm a vegetarian.

Mr. Deville?

Mr. Deville, Plucky Duck. I've spent

the past two and a half acts trying to

track you down. Have I got a story for

you. It's the Plucky Duck story.

It all starts when I was just a little

egg. The struggle, the

heroism of just trying to break out of my

cell. And then, yikes!

The endearing sweetness of my toddler

years, the trauma, the turmoil of

learning to walk, all building to the

most frightening thing of all!

Where was I?Oh yeah, the most frightening

thing of all! My first day

at school!

Then the story goes on and on until I am

a boss of the world. And then there's a

big musical finale. Be

kind to your web-footed friends.

For a duck may be somebody's

brother. Be kind to the

denizens of the swamp, where the

weather is very, very damp.

Oh, you may think that this is the end.

Well, it is.

Well, what do you think, Goofy Baby?

I think it's a surefire blockbuster.

I should know, because, like, I just made

that picture. Yeah. HuhNo,

really, I did. But I called it the Buster

and Babs story. I I found these two

charismatic rabbits, you know, like,

standing in the middle of the desert, and

I signed them on the spot. They're in

their trailer now. I

just don't get it. So what does this mean?

Just because I left my friends behind, I

get nothing? Is that it, huhAll right,

then. I'm sorry, okay?I shouted out for

the world to hear! I zipped my pals,

and I am sorry!

There, now. Feel better?

You know something?I do. Fame isn't as

important as friends. I mean, who needs

hundreds of adoring fans crawling all

over each other to simply catch a glimpse

of you?Who needs all that money, that

that attention, all that all that glory?I

know! I need it! I want it! I want it and

I need it! Get it, get me! Where's my

money?Money, attention and glory! Right

now, right here, right in the old

feathered palm.
