I'm a part of all of it,

from costumes to the lighting,

and I absolutely loved it.

We get more time to
talk and visit and connect,

and then they get

This is our only stoplight
in our very small town,

There's not really
anything in my town.

Like, we don't even

It's just us couple of
corn cobs here in Foley.

There's not a lot
of opportunities,

so I do want to
make my town proud.

heart to the blind auditions.

the Appalachian Mountains.

There's a lot of
coal mining history.

I in part feel lucky

that I don't have to go
down into the mines.

I have this option
to play music.

The place I live has its
own really distinct sound.

People in my area don't take
too kindly to the term hillbilly,

but we say, uh, just
Appalachian music.

I won this competition

girl I won it with last year,

she was a nervous
wreck in her first audition

and went on to win the
thing. I wasn't aware.

but all the people that he
beat are not on this season.

I heard a rumor about a
winner's room here at "The Voice."

I'm enjoying being

little lady can cook.

She actually found out
that she had breast cancer

about a month before I knew I
was gonna come and audition

for "The Voice."

Her strength
inspires me so much.

And I think with everything that
my mom is going through now,

music, it's my medicine.

Our family grew this year.

You know, we were a family
of four before the year started.

And now we're a family of six.

And Chrissy and I celebrated

10 years of being
married this year.

I'm really grateful
for our partnership

and the family
we've grown together.

I host Thanksgiving every
year, and I don't serve turkey.

I make a crab boil.

We crack the crabs, just
hands, and we just dive in.

Our whole kitchen
is filled with food,

and then we spend the
next, like, three days eating.

Thanksgiving is not
a one-day thing for us.

It's like a whole weekend.

My mom would make the most
immaculate banana pudding.

I know, weird for...
Weird for Thanksgiving,

but, oh, my gosh, it hit.

The smoked turkey.

Not just turkey. You
have to go smoked.

When I eat turkey, I'm like,

"Ooh, I'll eat every
part of that turkey."

Lila: We'll hang
around the fire.

And the dogs, they're
usually in Seattle.

It's cold and rainy,
so it feels really cozy.

I don't think words can
explain how important it is

to have people in your corner
that genuinely care about you,

so I'm forever
grateful for them.

getting to work on "The

having all the
