'cause if the grass is a little
too tall, you get snake bit."

I was born on the Red River.

That Red River mud
is thick in my bones.

makes me want to keep pushing
and make it as far as I can,

and I started singing
when I was 9 and a half.

So being a girl, you
know, and being thrown

into the whole music
thing, it's incredibly hard,

but it's also like a
dream come true.
