[sound echoes]
- [Announcer] In 1919,
Dracula and Bram Stoker
forged a pact as monster and man
to merge their two words
together in harmony.
The result, Bram University.
[lively instrumental music]
[mouse clicking]
[camera shutter snapping]
[bat chittering]
[wolf howling]
[windows beeping shut]
[monster cackling]
- Welcome, creepy co-eds,
to another episode
of "Dimension 20's Shriek Week."
My name is Gabe Hicks,
and I have a delightful
monstrous cast with me here today
to tell you a little bit more
of the story of Bram University.
So we're gonna go around
again one more time
and just introduce
everybody, but this time,
let's start with you, Dani.
- Oh, I'm Dani Fernandez.
I am playing the role of Seven, siete.
I don't know.
- And then next, Lily.
- Hi, I'm Lily Du, and I am playing Tuti.
She is the daughter of the Mummy.
That's my daddy.
- Brendan Fraser's Mummy?
- Yeah, Brendan Fraser's "The Mummy."
You know him, you've seen
him, he's kinda famous.
And this year, she's gonna f*ck.
- Yeah.
- [Dani] Wow.
- Yeah, I believe in you, Tuti.
- Yeah, me, too.
I am Ally, I am playing Megan.
She is the daughter of a ghost,
and more famously her sister
is that b*tch from "The Ring."
- Tell us how you really feel.
- Damn.
- Wow.
- And she has been f*cking.
I'm sorry, and I'm not
trying to make fun of you.
- Well, f*cking is a
spectrum and she's trying-
- [Ally] I agree, I agree,
f*cking is a spectrum.
- Speaking of, hey Ify.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, how is-
- So many parents have
already turned this off
for their kids, I'm so sorry.
- What are you watching,
what are you watching?
- This is for college students!
This is for creepy co-eds.
- This is a school show.
Yeah, so what's good?
I'm Ify, and I'm playing Terry Talbo
who is the son of the Wolfman.
And you know, he in these
streets a little bit,
but he's playing a
little, you know, subtle.
He's got a game, man.
Mostly he's really consumed with this play
that he is making.
[players laughing]
And it's almost like, you know, this play
has overtaken his horniness,
but he will show up.
Maybe during the full moon.
- Okay.
- To be or not to be horny.
- Yeah, yeah.
- So all of you go to
bed after last night.
You spent a nice time in the bar sitting,
talking with each other.
Each of you got interesting notes.
Some more interesting than others.
Hey, nothing wrong with a friend date.
Anyone out there who's thinking that,
nothing wrong with a friend date
unless you're Tuti, then it's terrible.
But the rest of you go to bed,
get a nice, long rest and morning comes.
And in general for Shriek Week,
the radio goes off in the morning
again and all of you hear.
- [Welfin] Rise and
shine, monsters of mine,
it's T-T-T-T-T-Tuesday, day two of-
- [Swamp Thing] Shriek Week!
- [Welfin] I'll let you in
on the scoop, Halloweeners.
We've got an open and roaming
game of Ultimate Frisbee
going on at the Quad this afternoon.
Teams will be drafted on sight
and set against one another
in a three-round tournament.
- [Swamp Thing] And
check this out, Welfin.
The winning team gets
an exclusive three hours
at tomorrow's carnival with
a plus one of their choosing.
- [Welfin] And for our
vibe-chill eco-friendly students,
the school co-op is hosting a
clothes swap after the game.
- [Swamp Thing] So get
ready to get sweaty.
- [Welfin] Or head down
to the clothes swap
for some righteous threads.
- [Swamp Thing] We'll see
you later, you feral fiends.
- [Welfin] Bye-bye.
- And then all of you
hear a familiar sound,
what sounds like the small pittering,
pattering of feet outside of your doors.
And underneath the doorway, a
bunch of flyers are slid out.
So I have some flyers for each of you.
- [Ify] Ooh.
- Cool.
- [Lily] They could have
printed these all in one.
A little wasteful for these
teams not to organize.
- So Bram University is for monsters,
and recycling is what decent people do.
[players laughing]
You also all know that yesterday
there was the strange
experience with Teddy.
You started to make your connections.
Your relationships are
growing a little bit more.
You know about the Frisbee event
that is happening in the
afternoon and the clothes swap
that is happening in the evening.
You do hear what sounds like
something else familiar to you,
a buzzing sound that goes
by all of your doorways.
- Can I see what that is?
- [Gabe] You open the door?
- Yeah.
- [Gabe] You see Mothman
just walking up and down the
aisle, just looking around.
- Hey, good morning.
- Good morning.
- Do you want an egg bite?
- [Gabe] Yes.
- Here you go.
- And it's a little uncomfortable
'cause he kinda just
like puts his face after-
- Yeah, I wasn't meaning,
you know, it's that thing
where you're not meaning to feed someone
and they lean is as
though you're gonna put it
in their mouth which is, yeah.
- And I'd say,
in this row of doors, all of
you live on the same floor
so all of you can hear this happening
outside of your dorm rooms.
- Okay, sounds like a party,
what's going on, hello.
- [Ify] Yeah, I'll peek out and see this.
- I am a little hungover 'cause
I'm not used to drinking.
- Yeah, what's going on out here?
- I made bulk egg bites,
but you all have to put them
in your own mouths if you'd like one.
- Oh, no-
- I have one with chives
and bacon and then one
that's just goat cheese in the middle.
- I'm good on the egg
bites, I'm just, yeah.
- Do you have like, an
actual uncooked egg fetus
'cause I feel like that would work.
- All eggs, I would venture to guess,
are they all fetuses?
- Well, I mean, did you
cook it is what I mean.
- [Ally] Oh, yeah.
- Or is there egg still in there?
- These are actually premade.
They're from a bulk food place.
- That was nondescript.
- Look, I'm not being paid by Costco.
Dang it!
- Oh, well, why did-
- Yeah, they're Costco egg bites.
- Oh.
- Did you guys get these flyers?
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah, definitely, yeah.
- Um, excuse me, blood
pudding is banned this year?
- [Ify] Yeah.
- Like, what the hell?
- Yeah, I think that directly
is referring to you last year.
- Yeah.
- Well, people really enjoyed it.
- Well, I also have flyers for all of you.
- Oh, more flyers.
- Yeah, yeah, no, these-
- [Dani] Oh.
- It's this one.
- Whoa!
- For each of you.
- Okay.
- [Gabe] There you go.
- Oh, didn't we already get this?
- Oh, we already got this,
this is in our bundles.
- No, no, those are different.
- [Dani] Okay, sure.
- Wait, what?
There are two Ultimate Frisbee things?
Wow, this is college.
- Yeah.
- Those are different.
- Wait, did you get something
on the back of this?
- Oh, oh.
- Okay.
- Okay.
- Oh, oh.
- What?
- Did you draw this?
- Oh wait, they go together,
they make a message.
- Wow.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Wonder what that is that
we shouldn't say out loud.
- [Players] Oh.
- You know, but we could-
- [Ify] But we should still read 'em.
- We could go in a room
together, you know?
- [Ally] Okay.
- Yeah, yeah, come into my
room, come into my room.
- Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ooh, okay.
- Okay.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah, yeah, we-
- What does Terry's room
look like on the inside?
- It's, you know, very neat actually
filled with many different
bottles of beard oil,
but it's turned around.
- Yeah, it's, wow,
really lavender in here.
- Yeah.
- Really lavender.
- This is a lot, Terry.
- Yeah, you know, [clears
throat] yeah, you know.
It's just, you know, I
just, 'cause you know,
I'm shaving so much so I'm
trying to keep it, you know.
- Great.
- This is so nice.
- Is this a full wall of thick queens?
Why is there a teacher?
- Yeah, is this a full
wall of thick queens?
- Yeah, yeah.
- What?
- This is "Pound Town."
I've seen "Pound Town."
- Yeah, yeah, "Pound Town," you know...
- Oh my Gosh.
Wait yeah, Tuti, I was gonna ask you,
what is your publication gonna be called?
- Yeah, Megan Thee Centaur.
- Oh yeah.
- Unwrapped.
- [Gabe] That's actually genius.
- Could you repeat that, actually?
What did you say?
- I said, that's a picture
of Megan Thee Centaur.
- Oh. [laughs]
- Oh, okay.
- Megan Thee Centaur, wow.
- [Ify] The thickest horse.
- You guys get confused a lot, don't you?
- [Ally] Hm?
- You guys get confused a lot, Megan.
- Me? Oh yeah, definitely.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- All of our similarities kind
of stop at the word Megan,
I would say unfortunately, but yeah.
- Megan Thee Centaur.
- Yeah.
- But Tuti, have you thought
about what your cool nude
magazine is gonna be called?
- I think I'll call it "Unwrapped."
- [gasps] Wow.
- [Dani] Wow.
- That's really good.
- Wait, that's amazing.
- That's a great name.
Oh flyers, wow, wow.
- [Ally] That's so hot.
- Okay, I kind of already pieced
together what they all say.
- [Ally] Wait, I haven't.
- Something is wrong with the Vice Dean?
- [Ally] What?
- Yeah, so uh, mm,
so went to see the Vice Dean this morning.
They had a different head,
and from what I know,
that doesn't usually happen.
- Was it Frankenstein's head?
Was it Frank's head?
- What happened to Frank's head?
- I don't know, I just heard...
- Oh yeah, no, I definitely.
When I was in the
computer lab I was working
on "As I Like It."
- Yeah.
- It's gonna be opening this
week, I need you all there.
- [Lily] Oh, yeah.
- But yeah, there was,
you know, when Teddy
was mysteriously freaking out.
- Yeah.
- Wild.
- [Ally] Wild.
- It was really crazy.
- [Ally] Yeah.
- Teddy ripped off
Frank's head and ran off.
- Mothman, did you write these?
- [Gabe] Yes.
- Was there a better way
you could have communicated
this note to us?
- I mean, probably, but like I-
- Okay, was it Frank's head, though?
- No, no, it was something different.
- Okay, describe it.
- Like what-
- Just different how?
- f*ck?
- Cute?
[Gabe laughing]
- I'm on one today, I'm sorry.
- Was it um, yeah.
- I'm also trying to be on one.
[Ally laughing]
- [Gabe] Oh.
- Oh.
- I'm trying to be on one, okay.
- [Ally] Yeah, definitely.
- Not with the Vice Dean.
I think you could get expelled.
- [Ally] Mm-hmm.
- I'm older than him so.
Well, we're similarly aged, we're-
- Well, there's like power
dynamics, I feel like.
- Okay.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- That's true, that's true.
No, hm, how do I describe this?
Do you remember "Little Shop of Horrors"?
- Yes, of course.
- [Dani] For sure.
- That plant thing.
- Mm-hmm.
- Yeah, Seymour, Audrey II.
- Yes, the face looked like that.
- Oh, so it was a plant face.
- [Dani] Wait, a Venus flytrap?
- With a mouth and eyeballs and-
- It was someone just
holding one of those?
- The Dean's body was holding
that like it was the head.
- So not cute?
- I mean, I don't know what you're into.
- [Ally] It sounds kinda hot.
- I mean,
that's got a long tongue,
though, I like that.
- [Ally] Yeah, definitely.
- Okay, look, we-
- The teeth it's kinda
like, ooh, it's scary.
- Yeah, it's very hungry all the time.
- Okay, yeah...
- Hey, I just wanted to mention
something just in case like-
- Who else saw this?
- [Gabe] Jadwiga, the Baba Yaga.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Jadwiga was with me and then we left
and I said I was gonna find you four
and they said they were
gonna go do something,
and I don't know what it was.
- Okay, I think some of
us should find Jadwiga.
- So you said Teddy like,
was doing something to Frank's head.
- Yeah, ripped his head off, clean off.
- [gasps] Oh.
- I saw Frank's body.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- It's walking around and
everything, still no head.
- [Ally] Whoa.
- Still no head, oh.
- [Ally] Frank's body.
- [Ify] We got a couple
of heads on the run.
- At this point I've gotten distracted.
I'm looking at the beard oils.
I pick one up and I'm kinda like.
[Ally laughing]
- Oh, that might...
Are you trying to grow hair on your neck?
- No, these are more kind of cosmetic.
I just wanna kinda smell nice.
- [Ally] Essential oils, yeah.
- Smell nice today.
- Okay, we definitely have to figure out
what's up with the Vice Dean.
- Yes, we do, yeah.
- I'm also really excited about,
I really want to make a
really elaborate curry
for my date later.
- Well, here's what I know.
The Vice Dean was acting weird.
I saw Frank walking around
the Quad with no head,
and Teddy was a little
strange in the dining hall.
- Okay, I feel like my other years here
I've gotten too involved
in school activities
and not involved in social
life so um, I'ma pass.
I'ma pass on fixing the Dean.
- You think so, yeah.
- So I'm actually gonna give all of you
three options for your morning.
- [Ally] Okay.
- [Gabe] The first option is
the issue with the Vice Dean.
- [Ally] sh**t.
- [Gabe] You're not sure
exactly what's happening there,
but that could be anything.
The second option is to go see
what's happening with Teddy
over in the dining hall.
- [Ally] Okay
- [Gabe] And the third
option for this morning is,
Frank was seen in the Quad.
- Can I ask a clarifying question?
- [Gabe] Absolutely.
- Do you put corn in curry, is that weird?
- No, I wouldn't.
- Would you put corn in a curry?
- I would not.
- Okay, cool.
- I would not.
- [Ify] Yeah, I believe it.
- [Ally] No?
- Have you already put
the corn in the curry?
- Yeah, it's marinating.
It's marinating in the curry right now.
- It sounds like, why did you ask?
- I'm just, okay, I'm gonna let that go
and I'm gonna focus on the task at hand.
- You're not gonna
ferment the corn are you?
- Wait, that would be bad?
It's like a fermented curry.
- Once again with the fermentation.
- Okay, all right, I'll start over.
I'll do a simple coconut with
like a green chili paste.
Okay, so all right, I'll play your game.
- All right, I'm gonna
go check on the Dean.
- [Ally] I'll go with you.
- [Dani] Oh, if you're going to go, oh.
- [Lily] To the Quad.
- [Dani] I guess I'm going to-
- Tuti, we don't believe you.
We all decide on the Vice
Dean and you're like,
yeah, um, of course, well, I don't want-
- Sorry, I don't want to
get involved in campus,
academic, kind of higher-up drama.
I'm gonna kinda be social this year.
I'm so sorry, love you guys.
- Tuti, let's start with you.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Since you're going to the,
and you're going to the Quad by yourself.
And as you walk into the Quad, Tuti,
it is a nice, sunny morning.
- I unwrap a little
bandage on my shoulder.
- A little, and what does it
look like under the bandage?
- It is just decaying skeleton flesh,
but to me I'm like,
that's a little risque.
- [Gabe] Hot.
- That I'm exposing some of my body.
- [Gabe] All right, you know what?
I respect it.
- Yeah.
- And actually, so when
you walk into the Quad
you see two figures, two familiar figures.
You see Yui, who is the Yuki-Onna,
the snow woman of Japanese folklore
and you also see Cleets.
- Beautiful, polyamorous,
intriguing, oh.
- The tall, strong figure
that you had been talking
to before that your friends
definitely didn't try to
set you up with and then-
- Ooh, and I got a
little drunk last night.
Did I send him a note?
I had-
- Okay.
- I had one and a half
cosmopolitan and some soup
in a c*ck glass and I got twisted.
I sent him a note, uh-oh.
- [Gabe] Yes, you did.
- Now I'm embarrassed.
- And as you're walking over,
Cleets like, "Hey Tuti."
- And then I pretend I didn't see him.
I wave and I go, and then I
pretend 'cause I'm freaked out.
- Wait I'm sorry, you waved
and then you pretend you didn't see him?
- Yeah, I wave and I go.
- [Ify] Oops.
[Ally laughing]
- I'd like you to make the
first roll for us today.
I need you to make a mental roll for me.
- A 10, a nine, a six.
- I mean, I'm so happy,
fantastic, great job.
That sounded sarcastic.
It was only 20% sarcastic.
- Sorry, it's New Tuti's world.
- God, yeah, have you failed a roll yet?
- Don't know, I don't know.
[group laughing]
- So Tuti, as you're walking through
and you see Cleets, but
you're a little bit shy.
You're kinda like, oh
God, what did I send them?
New Tuti, oh no.
And you tilt your head
a little bit to the side
and with your photographic eye,
you're actually pretty good
at noticing things that are out of place.
- [Lily] Yeah.
- You see in a tree about 30 feet off
what looks to be like two
legs hanging out of a tree
just swinging back and
forth, back and forth.
- Do I recognize the legs?
- They look like Frank's feet.
- Oh no.
[soft instrumental music]
Do I gotta get Frank out of a tree?
- What are you talking about?
- Who am I talking to?
- Cleets.
- Oh, you're behind me! [yelps]
- Yeah, I walked up.
You were just standing there
and then you did this thing
so I thought you were
blocking yourself from the sun
so I didn't want you to-
- Oh yeah, yeah, from the sun.
Yeah, do you, I just feel like,
I heard maybe he's missing his head
so maybe he got stuck in
the tree and, you know,
I feel like maybe something we could do.
Did you get a note from me?
- Yeah, I did.
- [Lily] Last night?
- Mm-hmm.
- That's crazy.
- How?
- [Lily] Um...
- Wait, did you not write it?
- No, I wrote it.
- [Gabe] Oh, okay.
- No, I wrote it.
Ooh, I thought I about lying.
I thought about lying, but I wrote it.
- Yeah, no, and when you
say you thought about lying,
Yui gives you a ice-cold
stare, no pun intended.
And you see a little bit of
frost come out of her mouth.
"We don't like lying."
- Oh God, she hates
dishonesty, that's right.
Okay, one of the things
I am thinking right now
is that we should get
Frankenstein out of the tree.
- Yeah, we should do that.
- [Lily] Yeah.
- And there's no doubt
that Cleets can almost,
almost reach Frankenstein's leg.
- Ooh, you're so tall.
- [Gabe] I am.
- Like a tree, just can climb you.
- Say that again.
- Like a tree.
[Ify chortles]
That you can climb.
You climb a tree, that's,
I could climb you, you
climb a tree, okay, hello.
- Oh, can I pick you up?
- Yes, please.
- And so he picks you up
in like a fireman carry.
- Whee!
[Ally laughs]
- And carries you over to the
tree and then actually like,
kind of like cheerleader pops
you up, grabs you in the waist
and then is trying to see if you can reach
to grab Frankenstein's legs.
So we're gonna do another check,
a physical check this time.
[dice rattling]
[energetic instrumental music]
- Eat it, six, three, eight, nine.
- Okay, so you did succeed.
So Frank's legs are flailing wildly
and they almost kick you
directly in the face,
but you move right out
of the way just in time.
You grab ahold of the
legs and pull them down,
and it's just the waist
down that is in the tree.
- Oh, there's no torso?
- None at all.
- I try talking to the,
I'm holding the legs out.
I hold it, oh, I try
talking, just yelling at,
I come to crotch level which
I'm not comfortable with,
and I just yell at the crotch,
"Hey, where's the rest of you?"
[group laughing]
- It's writhing while
you're holding it midair
because you're like eight feet in the air
while Cleets is holding you.
- Okay, okay, I'm gonna put you down.
Run towards your torso.
- Okay.
You drop it to the ground,
and it starts running
towards the Dean's office.
[dramatic pound resounds]
- Oh no...
Hey Cleets?
- Yeah.
- Can you hold me up for
like three more seconds
and then lower me?
- [Gabe] Sure, how do
you want me to hold you?
- Whee!
- And spins you around a little bit.
And your wraps are flailing in the wind
as you're spinning around and it looks
like it actually starts
unwrapping a little bit more.
- Oh!
Oh, no, no, no.
[Ally laughing]
- [Gabe] Hey, I didn't see a thing.
- Okay.
- Unless you wanted me to.
[Ify chortles]
- Okay, I gotta go.
Cleets, this has been magical.
I felt like I was on a Ferris
wheel ride of my dreams.
- I mean, there's a carnival
tomorrow, we could go.
- I heard you had to win a plus one,
is what I heard on the announcements.
- Yeah, I mean, I could win for you.
- Okay, yes!
- [Gabe] Yeah?
- Okay, you better.
- Yeah, okay.
- Okay, I gotta go.
- [Gabe] Okay, bye.
- Bye, oh my God.
- And so you start
making your way towards-
- [Lily] I run, I run.
- Oh. [laughs]
- Those legs are gone, right?
That was like, I'm like,
oh, I lost the legs.
- Oh yeah, they're like, sprinting.
- Okay, I got distracted, I lost the legs.
No, I'm fast, I'm gonna
catch up with them.
- Okay, you know what?
Make one more physical check for me.
- Ooh!
- But, but,
roll one less die 'cause you're hungover.
- Okay, wow, punishing me for
being good at rolling dice.
- [Ify] You set yourself up for that.
- [Gabe] I have a note
that says, bully me.
- I got a 10.
- Wow.
- [Ally] Yep.
- A 10 and a two and six.
- Why would you do this to me?
- [Ally] Critical success.
- That is a critical success.
- It's New Tuti's year.
- And you definitely hear Cleets say,
"I think I'm into her."
- I run faster 'cause I'm freaked out.
- So we're gonna transition
to the Dean's office.
And then Tuti, you'll arrive very quickly.
All of you come to the Dean's office,
and there is a door right outside of it,
and there is a sign
that says, "Hans Dulla."
There is no receptionist at the desk.
- Can we check the desk
and see if it looks like she just left?
Like, is there a hot coffee there or like?
- Don't worry I'm gonna
use my wolf senses.
- Oh, great.
- [Dani] Wow.
- I sniff the seat.
- [Ally] [laughs] Okay...
- I'm not there yet, right?
- This feels like something
I should stop. [laughs]
- Let's make that a physical check.
[Ify laughing]
- [Lily] A physical check!
- [Gabe] Let's make that a physical check.
How strong are your nasal passages?
- Yeah.
[Ify laughing]
- Oh, he's sniffed some seats.
- [laughs] Wow.
- Oh, so that's a nine.
- Okay.
- And the rest are fails so...
- Okay, okay.
So you do succeed and I
guess with your Wolfman nose
you can tell that someone
was here two hours ago
and hasn't been back.
- She was here two hours ago.
- Whoa.
- I just walk straight up
to the door and open it.
[group laughing]
- So you open it and you do
see the body of Hans Dulla
sitting there in this office.
And it is a beautiful, ornate office.
There are blacks, reds, and
blues all across the walls.
There are plenty of rewards.
You see Shriek Week banners
and Bram University banners
all around the walls, and there
is the torso sitting there.
And on the desk sitting about right here
is what looks to be a venomous
plant with a face, mouth,
eyes, everything. [snarls]
- [Ally] Hello.
- Hi.
- Okay, um, we come in peace.
- We're, yeah, yeah,
where's our Vice Dean?
- I am your Vice Dean.
- No, you're not.
- Okay, cool.
- No, nope, nope.
- We believe that.
- That was not what you
sounded like yesterday.
- I need you to make a social check for me
'cause was a lie out of your a*s.
I'm looking at you, Ally!
- Wait, me?
- [Gabe] You said, "We believe that."
- We absolutely believe that.
[group laughing]
- [Gabe] What are your numbers?
- Nine, we got a nine in there.
- Nine, five, four, seven.
- Nine, five, four, seven, yeah.
- Perfect, okay.
Oh, good, good, [slurps] good.
- [Ally] You look-
- What do you need?
- I'm having trouble with my homework.
- Ah.
- And then I kinda like,
make eyes at everyone like,
look for clues while I'm
being weird. [laughs]
- And as you're all in there,
actually another person
walks in behind you.
It's someone that you haven't
met in this past Shriek Week,
but it's someone that you
have been anticipating.
You see a sleek werewolf walk in.
They're wearing beautiful
fake leather pants
and a open vest that has a
fake fur trim around the edges
and a orange crop top and it's Korra.
- This is not a good time.
- [Ally] No, yeah, this
is not a good time.
- Vice Dean, I would...
- Hi.
- Hi.
Did everyone else need
the Vice Dean as well?
- Yeah.
- [Ally] Yeah.
- I needed to talk to him about my grade.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Even though it's the
first week of school.
- You notice anything
interesting about the Vice Dean?
Like, just making sure we're
all on the same page here.
- I'm sure she will.
'Cause you're still in the room with him.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah.
- Korra walked in the room.
- Yeah, yeah, all right.
- Anyway, I'm gonna keep asking
the dean about my homework.
- What is that?
And she just points.
- Oh, um, I don't know.
I think they're going
with a new look this year.
- Yes, that's it.
New year, new me.
- Stop giving him excuses.
- What? I mean, who am I?
You saw our person last year
that turned into a unicorn.
I don't know, people can shapeshift.
- True, yeah.
- All right.
- See, good student, good, good, good.
And at this point, Tuti, all of you hear
[footsteps tapping wood floor]
and a pair of legs and
lower half run into the room
and then just start
running around in circles.
- Like towards anything?
Are they circling something?
- They are circling the Vice
Dean sitting at the desk.
And you recognize this
is Frank's lower half.
- Okay...
- And when it's running
around, the Vice Dean,
its head looks at the legs
running around and he goes.
[Gabe snarls and growls]
- Oh my gosh.
- Okay...
- And the legs just kinda like,
flop, rigor mortis almost.
Just drop to the ground.
- Okay, does this look
like a kind of thing
like it could reach us at any time
like in "Crash Bandicoot"?
- I mean, think of like the Chain Chomps.
You just don't know
how far that vine goes.
- [Ally] Yes.
- And you walk in at
this exact moment, Tuti.
- Oh, sh*t.
- So Vice Dean, you know,
I'm sorry to disturb you.
- No disturbance.
- Yeah, yeah, I just-
- We've been in here for 15 minutes.
What are you starting with?
- I have some questions and-
- Well, well, the Frisbee
tournament is this afternoon.
The clothes swap is the evening.
- [Lily] I go,
- This is for the school paper.
I pull out a camera, point it
right at his face flash on.
[camera shutter snaps]
[Gabe snarls]
Take a photo.
- [Lily] Oh, oh.
- It just totally works?
- Yeah.
- Okay, beautiful, looking beautiful.
- [Ally] Wow, beautiful.
- It's great when the
camera works. [laughs]
- [Lily] Beautiful, beautiful, okay.
- I didn't know if the flash would-
- Can I walk around the
desk towards the body?
- Yeah, so you walk around
to the other side of the desk
and it looks like a massive
bulb is behind the desk.
- Bulb?
- Bulb as in,
and when I say massive I mean like,
the size of this map that we have.
- You mean bulb plant or bulb light?
- Bulb plant.
- Oh, okay, okay, yeah.
- I keep taking photos all for the paper.
- [Ify] Like separate from the-
- [Gabe] Uh-huh.
- Okay.
Can I take it?
[Gabe laughing]
Can I put it in my tote, my reusable tote?
- I said it's like the
size of this, like the map.
How big is your tote?
- It's pretty big.
- It folds out, it folds out, collapsible.
- [Gabe] Yeah, well, okay-
- Okay, okay, I can't take it.
I can't take it.
- Wait, wait,
while this distraction's going on
I'm gonna try to do some of my magic
to see if I can get them
to do a truth spell.
- And I'm making a lot of noise.
I'm taking a lot of photos.
Ooh, papers, desk.
[camera shutter snapping]
- Okay, roll your brujería.
- [Ally] Okay.
- What are you doing, Terry?
- I'm sniffing the room
to see if anything smells suspicious.
- Make it physical.
- Sniffing everyone's a*s.
- [Dani] Oh my gosh, well-
- Make it with-
- Well, I got a three, a
two, a six, and an eight.
- I got a nine, eight, four, and a five.
- Nine, seven, one, three.
- [Gabe] I hate all of you.
- Look at us, teamwork!
- Is there anything Megan
wants to do in this moment?
- I mean, I'm like, still
looking for more clues.
I just see this giant-a*s bulb.
Maybe I'm looking at the body.
- [Gabe] Make a mental.
- Okay.
- Mental, you're analyzing.
- You should ferment it.
- Yeah, let me ferment this body.
No, I'm bad at fermentation.
Nine, we got a nine, seven, two.
- So nine, perfect.
Okay, so all of you do succeed in this.
I'm gonna have to make this harder.
With your brujería, and
you said you're trying
to do a truth spell for it.
- Yes, to find out what
happened to the dean.
- Okay, we're gonna come back to that last
'cause the distractions
are coming together
so you can get information.
You're sniffing around the room.
This room smells like bleach, but faintly.
- Okay, some-
- Someone knows that I can smell good.
- [Dani] Did someone go swimming?
[Ally laughing]
- They're trying to hide their tracks.
- Make a mental check for me,
just for gigs and shiggles.
[dice tapping table]
- Nine, six, four.
- They may have been trying
to mess with your sniffer,
but bleach is also used
to get rid of fingerprints
and other things that
could have been around.
And then you were
looking around this room.
- Yep.
- [Gabe] And you were trying
to get any hints on anything as well?
- Yeah.
- You do notice what look
to be claw marks actually
underneath the desk a little bit
as you're standing around the side.
- Like in a way that makes it look
like there's a trap door or just like-
- No, like claws out
and then were pulled backwards underneath.
And you're taking photos.
You get a bunch of photos of this thing.
And in one photo you
actually see the beasty.
You see it looking at all of you
and then it looks outside toward the Quad
for a split second in one
of the photos you're doing.
And you, with your
brujería, you were trying
to get this thing to
tell the truth asking,
where is the Vice Dean?
So what is happening?
And as this comes through you see the body
actually shift and gesture a little bit,
like talking with their hands.
It looks like it has something to say,
but then very quickly afterwards it looks
like it stiffens up as a
vine goes around its body.
This is weird, right?
- Do you need any coffee, water?
I realized your secretary is gone.
- Dirt, dirt, dirt, more dirt.
- Dirt?
- [Ally] More dirt?
- Not coffee?
Usually you love black coffee.
- Yeah.
- Yes, coffee.
- [Ally] Mm-hmm.
- It's like dirt, but...
- It really does kinda taste like dirt.
- The tasting notes are very similar.
I would agree yeah.
- I don't know.
- I pull Megan with me.
- Okay.
- To the kitchen of the office.
- [Ally] Okay...
- So you two leave out the room.
We're gonna come to that.
Are you two staying in the room
with Korra and the Vice Dean?
- No.
- I'm staying with Korra.
I'm gonna protect my fellow werewolf.
- Korra's actually gonna follow.
- Yeah, she's about to, she's not-
- Okay, well, then it's just me.
I'm staying in there with this-
- [Gabe] Ooh, great, all right.
- Oh my God, Ify!
- Do you shut the door behind you?
[player gasps]
- Um, no.
- Okay, okay.
So all of you walk out of the room.
You don't shut the door,
Korra doesn't shut the door,
but you do hear. [mimics
door squeaking shut]
[door slams shut]
And the door shuts behind you.
[Lily sputters]
- Oh, did you do that?
- And you, for a quick,
like, it's a quick glance,
but you do catch this.
A little vine pushes it closed.
- Oh no, no, no, no.
- Hi, Terry.
- All right, listen here.
You know I know you're not the Dean.
I don't you're not the Dean so let's just-
- I'm the Vice Dean.
- Yeah, yeah, I know
you're not the Vice Dean.
You know I know.
You also, by this point should
know, I'm a business major.
What you want?
Let's figure it out.
[Lily laughs]
Let's get you done, what do you win?
- Make a business check.
- What did you give yourself for business?
- [Ify] That's my strongest.
- [Ally] Oh, okay, okay.
- [Lily] Wow, okay.
- [Gabe] So what are the numbers?
Give me the numbers.
- Nine, six, two, three.
- So with that.
Oh, okay, okay.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- I want, bring me one of the students.
- Are you going to eat them?
All right, yeah, I shouldn't ask.
[players laughing]
- You're dead.
- All right, yeah, I'ma find it.
Look, I got a cool chupacabra
I'd like you to meet.
[Lily laughing]
- [Gabe] Ah, Rahfee.
- Yeah, yeah, my man Rahfee.
I'm sure he would love to talk with you.
- Yeah, too late, a different one.
- What do you mean?
[Gabe laughs creepily]
- A different one.
- Uh, well, uh, you know-
- Hey, hey, hey, you can decide.
You can decide, but if you f*ck me,
there's plants everywhere.
- Oh, oh, what do you mean,
there's plants everywhere?
You mean it isn't just you?
- Sure.
- [Ify] Okay.
- Shriek Week.
- Shriek Week, indeed.
- [Gabe] Hey, hey, hey.
- [Ify] Hey.
- BU. [laughs]
- We're in the kitchenette.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, all of you.
- Making coffee and I'm like...
- Okay, there was a big bulb.
- Do you have plant k*ller?
Do you have plant k*ller,
do you have plant k*ller?
- And Korra does go
with them to the kitchen
and goes in there with you
so all four of you are
in the kitchen together.
- Okay, plant k*ller?
I'm just gonna put it in the coffee.
I'm just gonna see what happens.
- Oh sh*t, I don't have any of that.
- What's the worst fermentation that-
- [Dani] What if we just-
- There are no bad fermentations!
- Okay, what's the
nastiest thing you make?
What's the nastiest thing you've made?
- None of them are nasty!
I have this incredible curdled milk
that is carbonated, what?
- Put it in, put it in,
put it in, put it in.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Give me all your fermentation stuff.
- No, but they're all
really good actually.
- No, put it all in, put it all in.
- Okay, all right, this is a
tincture that I made, okay.
- For sure put that in.
- Okay, okay, all right.
- Do you know what they're doing?
- Oh yeah, they're trying to think
of a clever way to k*ll this thing.
I think we could just literally stab it.
- Oh.
- [Ify] Oh.
- Wow.
- I mean, maybe.
- No, ah.
- Oh, but everyone, there
was a really big bulb,
which I hate that.
So it looks like they're
multiplying or something, right?
- Keep pouring.
- Okay, but these are
all my best products.
- I'm not a fan of that.
- No, don't you think that,
I mean, you have claws.
- [Gabe] I do, I do.
- And I love stabbing things.
I feel like we could just-
- We cannot just go in
and stab this person
who is saying they're the Vice Dean.
- I've stabbed many things, cousins.
- [Gabe] I'm sure this beautiful creature
and I could rip it up.
- But I bet all of these people
have put up a fight, right?
It can't be that easy.
- You've seen the Dean.
- Yeah, the Dean and Frank are both
a little bit, like, slow moving.
- The Dean has been alive
for thousands of years.
- I mean, haven't we all?
- Yeah, haven't we all.
- No, I'm like 37
technically, in dog years.
- [Dani] Oh.
- [Lily] Oh.
- [Ally] Wait, so you're really young.
- Oh.
- Wait, that's...
- This person is like six years old.
- [Lily] Like five years old.
- Then I walk in.
- So you walk into the
kitchen where they are,
but before you left you
were given a flower pot
that they put inside of your pocket.
I say that as Gabe to
put pressure on you, Ify,
as to whether you tell the party or not.
So all of you are in the kitchen together.
- Okay listen, I think we
should just stab it, right?
- Yeah, yeah, I mean, I think
y'all should just. [stammers]
- What, are you singing?
- I'm still gonna give them this coffee.
- I think we should know.
I think what we should do.
- I think he's doing
scat music for his play.
- No, I'm not doing that-
- Oh, can I hear?
- But I'm gonna need
everyone there for the play.
Oh yeah, the play is good.
- [Lily] Let me hear your scatting.
- Because I got a new-
- What, you're-
- Well look, at my play I
decided to add something new.
- Uh-huh.
- You know, Duke Senior
who's the head of this whole castle,
you know, he gets replaced.
He gets replaced, right?
- Mm-hmm.
- By someone who was infecting him.
And it's almost as if like, you know,
and then four, five young knights
find Duke Senior and-
- He turned him into a crazy plant.
We should stab him.
- Take a drink of this,
take a drink of this.
- Wait, wait, that could-
- It's a yogurt.
It's a yogurt.
- What if that doesn't-
- It's coffee and tincture.
- I'm just saying that sometimes theater
can represent real life.
- Oh, I've heard that, yeah.
- And when the leadership
in my play gets replaced,
it may not be as simple
as k*lling Duke Senior.
- Okay.
- I don't understand-
- I am gonna give this coffee
to the Dean, is that okay?
It's just coffee-
- Wait, I think I caught on.
Okay...
- A movie, two words
oh I love this. Avatar?
- Okay but this doesn't work 'cause then
you're gonna be saying it out loud.
- "Avatar."
- Okay.
[group laughing]
Okay, it's charades, it's charades,
but you're just thinking your answers.
- Wow.
- [Gabe] I haven't seen
a projector in a while.
- I love charades, I'm so good at these.
- I just need everyone to know-
- [Dani] Okay, one, yeah.
- [Gabe] Horny?
- Okay, Shrek.
- Shrek.
- Yeah, perfect.
- [Dani] Got you.
- Oh, layers, ogres.
- At least-
- [Gabe] We don't have any ogres.
- There's a friend who is hearing me out,
and I need you to know that there
are ears everywhere.
- Okay, great, yes.
- In the play "As I Like It."
- Definitely, definitely.
- No, we get that, okay.
- In the play that-
- I'm like, looking around.
Definitely, we should go
because I have homework.
- You all see a beautiful
little bonsai plant
just sitting on the counter.
- I throw it on the ground
and start smacking it.
- Wait, no, that's beautiful.
It takes thousands of years!
- No, it's a traitor, okay!
- Some of them have tiny apples
that you can actually eat.
- It is a traitor.
That thing was telling on us, all right?
- [Ally] Okay.
- Why did I even?
- [Ally] Oh my God.
- I pour a little bit of the coffee on it.
- [Ally] My yogurts!
- Just a little bit.
- It like. [hisses]
- [Lily] See?
- [Ally] What?
- And the weirdest thing happens.
A little bit of purple smoke comes out
and it's shaped a little bit like a skull
and then it. [mimics wind howling]
- Okay, my fermentation is not that bad.
- [Gabe] I don't know, that-
- That was crazy.
- [Lily] Okay, I am
definitely giving this-
- I don't know if I believe you.
I heard about what happened with Mothman.
- I have a coriander
kombucha brewing right now.
- [Lily] I am giving this to the Dean.
- That I think you all would love.
- Okay, look, I just feel like the Dean,
I told him I'd get him coffee
and he's gonna be mad if
he doesn't get his coffee.
- Yeah, yeah, well, you go ahead
and you go in there and
hand that to the Dean.
- Okay, I will.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- Okay, okay.
- [Ify] All right.
- You come with me, okay.
[Ally groaning]
- No, I...
- Okay, all right.
All right Tuti, okay.
- I-
- So we'll come back to you two then.
So you three are still inside the kitchen.
- I'm gonna see if I can
find the rest of Frank
because I feel like it
might all be connected,
and I go back to the Quad.
- [Gabe] Okay.
- I don't know, would you like
to grab something to eat or something?
[group laughing]
- I-
- Great.
- [Gabe] Honestly-
- Gonna go get a breakfast
burrito while I perish.
- I am starving.
- Oh yeah, I figured.
You know, sometimes blood
sugar gets a little low so...
- Exactly, exactly.
They're gonna go off
an do their own thing.
- They love their adventures.
- They really do.
- [Dani] Yeah.
- And you know what?
If it fails-
- I don't like this.
- [Gabe] We can just cut it to shreds.
- Right, of course, we could stab it.
- [Gabe] Yes.
- And bring them back from
the dead in case they all die.
- [Gabe] Yes, I feel like you're so good
at stabbing, aren't you?
- Yeah, it's one of my qualities.
- Okay....
- I am a Gemini so you know.
- [Gabe] No, I know.
- Angel and devil.
- [Gabe] Ooh.
- But mostly devil.
- You know what?
I think there were some taco trucks
getting set up for the
Frisbee tournament in Quad.
- [Dani] Oh yeah, yeah.
- Cool, how about that?
- Yeah, I would love to, thank you.
- Perfect, all right.
So then you two go back
to the Dean's office.
It opens up, the flower bulb is there.
The flower is there,
but it's a little bit bigger now actually.
- Okay, great. [groans]
- It's now, the flower
itself, it was the size
of like a large football.
Now it's about like the
size of a medium-sized dog
just sitting on the desk.
- Are Frankenstein's
legs still in the room?
- [Gabe] Nope.
- Okay.
I go, "Hello!"
- Hello!
- I always deliver, here's your coffee.
You want me to give it to you?
- I'll do it.
And a vine comes out from
under the table, goes over,
grabs it and brings it over.
- [Ally] Okay!
- Okay, enjoy.
- Thank you.
It pours it in its mouth
and you start to hear a hissing sound.
[coughs]
- Okay.
- This is the way you like it,
just triple espresso.
- Yeah.
- [Lily] Triple espresso.
- And it starts to shrivel
up and turn to ash.
- Okay, I am good at fermentation!
I don't understand!
- And it crumbles into what looks
like basically dried petals on the ground,
but the body of the Dean,
something strange happens.
A small puff of smoke appears behind it,
and a large hand reaches out and grabs it
and pulls it through the
smoke and disappears.
- What?
- Oh my God, I thought
I was getting him back.
I made him go away.
All of you hear.
[bell rings]
We are getting ready for
the Frisbee tournament.
Please, if you are
available, come to the Quad
and we will have a delightful event
where you can potentially
get tickets to the carnival
and or there's taco trucks,
meat trucks, beet trucks,
feet trucks, anything
that you might wish for
we at Bram University have
for all of your needs.
- I forgot that Keanu
Reeves went to this school.
[group laughing]
Okay, let's go, let's go.
- It's Reanu Keeves, actually.
- Yeah, I forgot Reanu
Keeves goes to this school.
- [Dani] Yeah, Reanu.
- I told you it'd work.
I told you-
- Yeah, I hate that it worked.
This is really sad.
- [Gabe] So all four of you-
- I made the yogurt in a
special yogurt machine.
Like, I didn't even do anything.
- [Gabe] So all four of
you do arrive in the Quad,
and you do see plenty of people
getting ready for the Frisbee tournament.
And you see familiar faces.
You see Mothman, Van Helsing.
You see Drusille the vampire.
You see Yui the Yuki-Onna.
You see Cleets, you see
Asterith the Minotaur.
And then there's Korra, the
werewolf that came with you.
- So how did it go?
- Oh, um, yeah, how does it feel
to be completely deserted
in the face of danger?
- Oh, so it k*lled him.
Oh yeah, that fermentation, you gotta-
- Okay everyone!
Okay please, will everyone
just try a little piece of soy
dairy jerky that I made?
- No, you are zero for three.
You are zero for three.
- It is tangy!
- When you mix it all
together, it is gnarly.
- [Ally] No, it's-
- And Korra comes over,
actually, to you with a taco.
And inside of the taco
there is actually what looks
to be like, a little bit of ground beef
and then potentially a fresh
artery just across the top.
- Oh, thank you, oh my gosh.
- [Gabe] Absolutely, yeah.
I thought that might be your-
[Dani scarfs]
- Mm, wow, that was so delightful.
- Okay guys, I am actually-
- Weren't you giving me
a whole bunch of sh*t last night
for swallowing the wieners?
- I didn't sell that one.
- Yeah, definitely,
and I think we still will do that.
You just kinda brought it
in and out a number of times
that didn't make sense for
like, digestion or consuming.
- Yeah um, I've never swallowed
a wiener in my life so yeah.
- I have a question
about the announcements.
Do you any of you guys know
what they meant by like,
you can win three hours at the carnival?
Did you all hear that part?
- Well I know, there's
some extra special stuff
that happens at the carnival,
but they're weirdly
vague about what that is.
- Okay, but you just
get three hours there?
There's kind of like a time window.
- Yeah, yeah.
The carnival's not all day.
- I'm gonna sniff the air
and see if I smell any plants
that smell similar to the plants inside.
- Ooh, physical check.
- [Lily] Does he still
have a plant on him?
- But one less die, yes he does.
[dice tapping table]
- Oh, one 10 and two fives.
- Oh, nice.
- [Gabe] Okay.
[Ify sniffing]
- [laughs] I don't like
it when he does that.
[Ally laughing]
[Ify sniffing and snorting]
- I love it.
- These new-age werewolves are so strange.
- Yeah...
- And so as you're sniffing the air,
you do get a scent of that same plant
from a large tree in
the center of the Quad.
It look like a tall oak tree
with vines growing all
around it up to the top.
- Okay, we just gotta look
for the vines from now on.
- That tree's infected.
You have some more of your death juice?
- [Lily] You have some more?
- It's called sourdough starter, and yes,
I still have a whole tub of it
that I have to feed every morning.
- Okay, well...
- Oh my gosh you guys,
this is actually really
good sourdough starter.
- Okay, well-
- Okay-
[bell rings]
- All right, the Frisbee
contest is gonna start.
If anyone is interested,
please let us know
and then we will get you
all prepared right away.
- Okay, I can't, I can't
leave Asterith waiting so-
- Oh yeah, your thing was this.
- Pour your gross juice
on the tree, I'm gonna-
- It's not gross juice!
It's delicious bread.
- Okay, pour it on the
tree and see what happens.
- Okay, can I go to the
tree and take my beautiful
heirloom sourdough starter
that I've been feeding
and just kind of dump it
out of the plastic thing
that it's held in.
- [Gabe] Make a physical
check for me but...
- [Ally] Okay.
- [Gabe] With one less die.
- Okay.
[dice tapping table]
Seven, one seven.
- [Gabe] Okay, okay.
- Seven and a five.
- So as you're walking up
to it, it's lightning fast.
A vine tries to slap your face
when you're about two feet away.
- Oh, okay, okay!
[group laughing]
I sprint to the tree and
dump my sourdough starter.
- [Gabe] Make another
check as you're sprinting.
- I say, "You b*tch,
you're gonna pay for this!"
Two sevens!
- Okay, so you sprint forward
and then you toss your
sourdough starter at this tree.
- Yeah, so I had a few sesame seeds on top
just in case it bakes it'll look gorgeous.
- [laughs] In case it bakes.
- It sizzles on it a little bit,
and there's a black spot
that appears on the tree.
And you see the tree, a vine comes down
and cuts that piece off
and tosses it to the ground
before it spreads.
[sinister instrumental music]
And there is a moment where you feel
like something's watching you.
And 17 eyes open on the base of the tree
and all of them stare
at you simultaneously
and blink in unison and then close
and fade back into the tree.
- Wait, wait.
Do you have any notes?
Like, is it too tangy?
Why is my delicious food k*lling you?
Now I just wanna maybe
try to win you over.
What is your flavor profile?
What do you like?
- Nothing.
- Oh g*dd*mn it, okay.
- So is anyone other than Terry
participating in the Frisbee contest?
- No, I'm just a spectator.
- Okay.
Korra is actually going to participate.
It looks like the people
participating are Van Helsing,
Cleets, Asterith, Korra,
Mothman, and Terry
unless anyone else is participating.
- Mothman's gonna get owned.
[group laughing]
- Oh, I go, "Mothman."
- Wait, yeah, I'm still
kinda confused about Mothman.
Can we find out what everyone knows?
Like, is it safe or can you?
- Mm-hmm, if we go meta for a second,
me knowing y'all k*lled
it, I would assume that,
'cause I don't wanna metagame too much.
Me thinking that y'all k*lled him,
I would assume that this flower,
like I also don't know it's on me.
So knowing that, [clears throat]
yeah, so I went in there
and this f*cking tree guy,
he's talking to me and you know,
I do my "Art of the Deal" thing.
You know, "The Art of the Deal," you know.
- [laughs] Yeah, I know, you
love "The Art of the Deal."
- I mean, you gotta learn-
- You love musicals and
"The Art of the Deal."
- You gotta learn from the
best monsters of them all,
you know what I'm saying?
- Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi.
- So like, I'm like-
- Now we're getting political in here.
- I'm just saying, anyway.
So I do my "Art of the
Deal" thing and he's like,
"All right, I'm talking to you."
He said he ate the chupacabra.
Yeah, he's dead as sh*t.
So anyway, so I'm like-
- Your ex?
- Wait, he ate?
- Yeah, we're not, we didn't date.
We got played simultaneously
and then he f*cked someone
else so good riddance.
So anyway, he's dead as sh*t.
- Someone send Cubey to that-
- Will all of you make
a mental check for me?
- Yes.
- And only let me know if you get a 10.
- Oh boy.
[dice tapping table]
- Damn.
- Guess how many 10s I got.
- [Lily] I did.
[Ify laughs]
- [Gabe] How many tens?
- Two.
- I got one.
- Oh God, I hate you.
[Ally laughing]
But I don't.
You all notice the only
people you see here
are Mothman, Helsing, Drusille,
Yui, Asterith, Cleets, and Korra.
No one else came to
the Frisbee tournament.
- Does it sound quiet on campus kinda or?
- A little quieter, yeah.
- Can I talk to everybody to the side?
You guys, okay, what the
f*ck is up with Mothman
coming up with some
weird-a*s cryptic message
sending all four of us there?
He didn't go.
Do you think he was
trying to get us eaten?
- Oh, Mothman is weird as sh*t.
- Yeah.
- [Ally] Well yeah, that is true.
- Honestly, I thought he had
a crush on you, I thought-
- Yeah.
- Yeah, I mean-
- I thought he was trying to
get you by yourself, you know?
- Oh!
- No, yeah, you know,
you feel it but you just are kinda like,
I'm not really into that, and that's okay.
- Mothman is actually, you can see Mothman
staring in your direction.
- Yeah, I think he has a crush on you.
- Yeah, I think so, too.
- Yeah, yeah.
- And that's okay.
I think it's cool to
navigate that with people.
- [Dani] Right.
- And just be kinda like, no.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- Yeah, you did get them f*cked up, so...
- Yeah.
- Yeah, so they like you.
- Okay so, wait, I forgot about that.
Has anyone liked my fermentation?
- I don't think-
- Did you guys like the kraut?
- You know what, I liked
the blueberry thing.
- [Ally] Thank you, yes.
- The one that you gave
Mothman, it didn't do-
- Yes, the shrub.
- Yeah, yeah, I will say,
yeah, that tasted good.
- The shrub was delicious.
- So don't put that on the plant.
Everything else is good to go.
- Yeah, yeah, everything else.
- [Lily] You got more,
are you about to run out?
- Can I run to the tree really quick
and just drop a little bit
of the blueberry shrub on it
to see if it likes it?
- As you separate yourself from the group,
Mothman's like. [panting]
And you do drop a bit
of the blueberry shrub,
and you see a vine come up a
little bit and then go down.
[Lily laughs]
- And did it burn or anything or?
- [Gabe] No.
- Okay, so I'm nailing one
thing, I'm nailing one thing.
- What are you doing?
- Oh, I was just trying
to impress this tree
with my cooking skills, actually.
- Cool, cool, I like food.
- Yeah, how are you?
What's up with you?
- You know, I started looking
into fermentation and stuff.
- What?
- Thinking about how engineering
can help speed up fermentation and...
- Wow, that is a really
cool response to like,
"What's up with you?"
[group laughing]
I think I like how you just went there.
You just were like, these are the tabs
that I have open on my
laptop right now, you know?
It was a little mix of everything.
- [Gabe] So can I ask you a question?
- Yeah, definitely.
- Are you single, by chance?
- Oh,
Mothman.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- I knew this was gonna come up.
I am single, but that doesn't mean,
but I actually am not into you.
- [Gabe] Oh.
- Oh my God!
- Cool, okay.
- Yeah, I just think it's
really helpful to be direct.
Like, sometimes people get
really awkward and weird
and then you just kind
of live in a gray area,
and nobody wants that, right?
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Now you know that, you
can go after other people.
- That's true.
- Are you still into fermentation?
- Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- [Ally] Okay, cool.
- Like, you inspired it,
but it wasn't like I,
I didn't have a fake
interest 'cause of you
'cause that doesn't
make me a whole person.
- Very cool, I love that.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- So I respect you and I honor you
and I don't wanna kiss you.
- [Gabe] Is it, I mean, that's fine.
- Cool, yeah, great.
- Is it still cool if we hang out?
- [Ally] Like as friends?
- Yeah, yeah.
- Definitely yeah, it's not weird.
- I wanted to make sure
it wasn't gonna be weird just in case.
- Wow, that's really cool.
I love this direct communication.
- Healthy communication
makes a difference.
- Yeah, I think so, too. [laughs]
This just turns a weird, the
season's over, credits roll.
Wait no, this was such a great convo.
This was so refreshing.
- Yeah, well, I don't know.
I thought you were cool
and then I was like,
I'm cool adjacent.
- No, yeah, you are.
Wait, I do want to point out though,
my fermentation thing made
you high for a full day.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- So maybe when you're doing fermentation,
don't eat it at all.
- No, I'm gonna.
- Oh, cool, like it's on purpose.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Wait, that's incredible.
It's like, people make DMT off of Reddit.
It's never a bad idea.
- It was either that
or I stared at the sun, and
then I did some research.
It's a bad idea.
- To stare at the Sun?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Yeah, yeah.
- [Gabe] Did it for like, six years.
- [Ally] Oh, that's really scary.
- Just do drugs instead.
- Yeah, just do really hard drugs
instead of staring at the sun.
- Hm, no.
- Hey, Mothman!
- Oh.
- [Gabe] Hey!
- Megan, can y'all get
the f*ck out the way
so we can start the Frisbee tournament?
- Oh, we're on the field!
- Yeah, yeah, get the f*ck off!
- Hey, hey Terry, hey Terry!
- [Ify] Hey, what's up, Moth?
- We're gonna beat your a*s!
- [laugh] Yeah, you wish.
- Okay...
- When Mothman told me he
was gonna be in this I went,
[laughs] okay, good luck.
- And so Mothman does take
off his jacket and his pants
and you see athletic
shorts underneath and like-
- Are they like, weirdly short?
I feel like men like that always,
it's just kind of like,
those are your shorts?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, like there's some buns.
And like, Mothman's like, slim
thick, like a little built.
- f*ck, damn.
- Oh!
- Whoa!
- All right.
- Did you guys know Mothy was?
- No, I didn't, you know-
- Hey, yo, Terry, you're
gonna call me my daddy
when I'm done, let's go!
- Okay.
- We'll see-
[Lily screams]
Yeah. [howls]
[Ally laughing]
- And then Mothman tries to do it.
[Ify laughing]
- Wolfman-a*s Terry Crews, whatever.
[group laughing]
So Mothman splits up.
- Okay...
- And is there anything anyone wants to do
before we get into this Frisbee contest?
- Yeah, I'd like to talk
to Asterith real quick
and say, "Hey thanks for
inviting me to this tournament."
- [Gabe] Always, yeah.
- Hey, you actually
inspired me when I seen you
and I look at you, it just makes me
wanna go harder in the gym so I just...
- I think you look good
with actually like,
some of those smooth patches.
- [laughs] Oh, well, you know,
it's definitely on purpose.
So you know, it's all good,
but I'm glad you like it.
You know, this is a thing I'm trying out.
You know, not a lot of
wolves wanna cut the hair.
They think more hair,
the better and I'm like,
what if I remix that?
- You know, well, you know how to say,
if you mess with the
bull you get the horns?
- [Ify] Yeah, yeah.
- If we win and that's what you want,
maybe you'll get the horns.
- Ooh, all right.
- But we gotta win, Terry.
- Oh, we gonna win.
We gonna win, trust me.
- [Gabe] Okay, okay.
- [grunts] And I start doing stretches.
- And Korra leans over to you.
Is he going to be okay?
- Yeah, he's, yeah, just
very peacocking, you know?
[Ify inhales deeply and grunts]
Or whatever y'all's equivalent is.
[Ify exhales strengthfully]
- [Gabe] Yeah, I don't do that.
- Yeah, I feel you could
probably beat him really easily,
to be honest.
- If I wasn't on his team,
I would trip his little puppy a*s.
- Yeah, oh, you're on his team.
- Sadly yes, but it does mean...
- Yeah. [exhales]
- [Dani] Yeah, he...
[players slapping biceps]
- We think this is a chant
and we all start doing it.
- Okay, is he like, flipping us off?
- [Ify] You all like to stretch?
- Yeah!
- I feel like that is a slur he's doing.
- [Gabe] I don't...
[Ally laughing]
You know what, like...
- [Ally] Oh boy, oh boy.
- Asterith gives you a bit of a...
[group laughing]
So you hear the teams announced.
It is, "And on this side we
have Korra, Asterith, and Terry.
On the opposing side we have Mothman,
Van Helsing, and Cleets."
And the nice thing about this is,
even though Terry is the
only player involved in this,
you all will actually be
able to intervene in ways
if you wanna try to shift
it in one way or the other.
You have your magic, you
have your photography.
I don't know what the f*ck
you're gonna do with fermentation
but it's gonna be something.
- Yeah, yeah, I got some.
- I have no doubt of this.
- I have a bunch of stuff
I'm working on, actually.
I set up a little station.
- Are there like, no other spectators?
- No, not really.
- [Ally] f*ck, weird.
- Okay, this is sad.
Okay, usually this game's kinda big.
- This is like, the smallest
Ultimate Frisbee tournament
of Shriek Week since you've
been in this university.
- [Ally] Okay...
- I feel like we should not be doing this.
And we should be doing a mass huddle
to figure some sh*t out,
but Cleets looks good.
- I decide to do a little spell in the air
kind of like when they
hire those airplanes
to go over and say, "I love you."
But I'm gonna do one for Korra
and just say, "Go get 'em."
- Ooh, okay, give me a brujería check
just to show how fabulous it is.
- [Dani] Wait, it says
"Go get 'em, Korra."
- [Gabe] Okay.
- [Ally] Okay, yeah, great.
- With a heart at the end.
[Ally laughing]
I got a four, a three,
a four, and a three.
- Oh no!
So it says, "Go get 'em, Terry."
- It says, "Go get 'em, Horra."
- Oh boy.
[Lily laughing]
- I didn't, the plane was still working.
Who did that?
Who would do that?
That's so rude.
- Rude.
- Wow, wow, wow.
- [Lily] Offensive.
- Someone's already talking smack, Korra.
Someone's already talking-
- Wow, Van Helsing, I mean, I would-
- Someone's already talking smack, Korra.
- I knew they had it in them, but wow.
- Make a social check
for me just for that.
- [Ally] Wow.
- So Van Helsing can be really
awful when they want to be.
Oh, I got two tens.
- [Ally] Nice.
- [Gabe] So what, so two tens
and then what are the other ones?
- Two fives.
- You say that
and then Korra looks over
at Van Helsing. [growls]
I'm gonna turn you into
mincemeat, little Helsinger.
- Wow, just extremely rude.
Unnecessary language.
- [Ify] sh*t got real real.
- Quick question.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Who's announcing this game?
- You don't see anybody.
It's actually a disembodied
voice, it's very weird.
- Do we usually have
an announcer like that?
- [Gabe] Yes.
- Okay, it's always been like that.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah, so it's always-
- Okay, so it's not weird, okay.
- Yui's here, right?
- [Gabe] Yep.
- Oh, cool.
- And to the sidelines
as everyone's going to their sides
and everyone is gathering
around, between the three of you
a little plant sprouts out
and you see a familiar face.
Plant-like mouth, toothy
maw, two eyeballs appear.
I love sports.
- It's a little plant.
- [Ally] Hey.
- Mm-hmm, it is small.
This one's about like the size of a fist.
- Is Megan next to me?
- [Gabe] Yep.
- I just, I reach in Megan's bag
and I just take something and I go...
[Ally laughing]
And then-
- It's an IPA.
[group laughing]
- So I'm like, I'm not
trying to deal with this.
- It's an incredible IPA.
I made it with stout coffee.
- You are trying to ferment
too many different kinds of things.
- And then I go over
and I stomp on it again.
[Ify laughing]
- Okay, you know what?
Physical, physical for me.
- Okay.
- Oh my gosh.
- Terry, do you want to be the person
who's throwing the Frisbee
first or running out to get it?
- [Ify] Oh, wow.
- 'Cause your team is gonna start.
- I'll throw it first.
- [Gabe] Okay.
- No, I got-
- Two sevens, a five, and a three.
- I got a two and a three.
- A two and a three, okay, okay.
Terry, make a physical check for me
'cause we're gonna do that
as a throw and then Megan.
- [Ally] Mm-hmm.
- Make a...
- Now what, what?
- What is your fermentation
score, is it a four?
- No, it's a two.
[group laughing]
I'm bad at fermentation.
I decided, it's hard,
it's harder than it looks.
- And then what'd you get, Ify?
- I got a four, a two, a two, and a five.
- Yes, finally, my time!
- But I got two sevens.
- Yeah, I know, I'm so sad about that.
Make a fermentation roll for me, Megan.
- God damn it, okay.
So in this IPA I used incredible
hops that I had imported.
- [Lily] You're trying to-
- Two fours! [laughs]
- You were trying to ferment
too many different things.
- [Gabe] Beautiful.
- Beer is easy.
All you need is a closet and a manual.
- So you meant to give Tuti beer.
- [Ally] Mm-hmm.
- Tuti, you pour this green liquid on it
and it shudders for a little bit
and then it doubles in size.
[Lily gasps]
And you go to step on this thing
and as you put your foot down
it actually lifts your foot
up with its head, "Hi."
- Oh, you had something on you.
I was just trying to get it for you.
- This is typical, using my foot to...
- Let's play sports!
You make this throw,
and you see Korra going out for a sprint.
She is in all fours gunning it thinking
that my fellow werewolf
was gonna nail it to me.
Throws it out there, Mothman
sees it going up and up and up.
And Mothman flies to
intercept and grabs it midair
and lands down and then
looks at you and goes.
[Lily laughing]
- Oh!!!
- Wow, wow.
- Why?
- Mothman is like, way less
chill today, way less chill.
I'm gonna have to beat his a*s.
- And actually, everyone
make a mental check for me.
So we're gonna start with
you, Ify, what'd you get?
- Two tens and a two.
- [Gabe] Okay, what'd you get?
- One, six, eight.
- One, six, eight, got it.
What'd you get, Lily?
- Seven, five, one.
- [Gabe] Perfect, what'd you get, Dani?
- Four, five, eight.
- Everyone did succeed in this.
All of you see as Mothman
flies into the air,
they pull out a little vial
and down it real quick.
And you specifically know Mothman did say
he was looking into fermentation again
after seeing how he reacted
to it the first time.
- Okay, great, okay, cool.
- HGH?
- [Ally] No, it's PED?
- PED, that's performance-enhancing drank.
What's going on here?
What is the rules?
- It's just raisins.
- And Mothman does grab
it, manages to toss it out
to Cleets who basically just
charges through Asterith
and you can see that
she's pissed about it.
Like you see smoke
coming out of her mouth,
so that is one score for them.
So now in this second round,
they are going to make it,
do you want to do a physical check?
Or do you have a creative
way that you want to react
to this next round of Ultimate Frisbee?
- No, I'm doing a physical check.
- All right, make that roll.
What are the rest of you wanting to do?
Do you want to influence this
to try to lean it in their favor?
You can also work against
them if you want to.
- [Ify] God damn.
- [Lily] Right.
- I... [groans]
- What'd you get?
- A five, three, two, one.
- Got it.
- [Ify] Okay...
- [Gabe] So that's a critical fail there.
- So this plant is still
hanging out right next to us?
- Oh yeah, and it's now it's swaying.
- So did she dump my Monster
energy drink on that thing?
What's the green?
- Basically
- Okay, great.
I kind of walk behind it
and I take out the imperial coffee stout
that I have poured my heart
into, and I try it first, can I?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Okay. [sips]
Yeah, it's like, really bitter
so I dump that on the head of the plant.
- Okay, what about the rest of you?
- Okay, so I am going to use my magic
to actually get the plant
to cheerlead for my
girlfriend, Korra and...
[group chuckling]
- Use it as a prop?
- So that's what I would
like to use my magic for.
- It's like if Harry Potter had
Voldemort go, "Go Hermione!"
- Give me your kids.
- There's just this whole
tangent in the movie.
- Perfect, and then what about you, Tuti?
Because you do see as
Cleets makes that score
he looks over his shoulder
at you a little bit.
- Oh my gosh, is that to you?
- [Ally] Yeah.
- I go, "Smile!"
And I take a photo.
- [Ally] Cute.
- Make a photography check.
[dice tapping table]
- [Lily] Six, two, five-
- [Ally] 10.
- [Lily] 10.
- Cleets does that turn around thing,
and you get a delightful shot.
He's actively like, putting his butt out
for you to get in the photo.
It is a damn good photo, too.
- Wow, incredible.
Is Mothman still drinking his liquid?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Can I take a?
I go, and then I quickly
go up and I take a photo
of that, too.
- [Gabe] Yeah, roll again.
[dice rattling]
[dice tapping table]
- One, eight, 10, 10.
[Ally cheers]
- Oh my God, so you do get
a picture of it this time,
and you can see closer
after you take the picture
there is a little bit of
a sparkling liquid in it.
- What is this?
- [Gabe] Make a fermentation check.
- Okay, yeah, perfect.
Five and a seven.
- Okay, so it definitely
looks like the first one
that you gave him, the... [laughs]
- Yeah, it looks like what?
- It looks like the one
you gave him the first day
that sent him into that whole like-
- Oh, it's a blueberry shrub.
Simple, non-alcoholic, alternative.
- That made him get high?
- And then you were using,
were you using magic?
- Yes.
- [Gabe] Yes.
- Yeah, I want-
- To animate our arch-enemy.
- That's right.
- [Ally] The big bad.
- So make a brujería check for me.
- Yes, I want to him to be
like, "Go baby, go baby.
Win baby, win."
[group laughing]
Five, one, 10, nine.
- Okay.
- Oh my God, okay.
Did I already make you roll
for pouring on the thing?
- [Ally] Yeah, oh, did I?
- I don't think I did.
- [Ally] Oh yeah.
- Go ahead and roll that
fermentation for me.
- I just tasted it.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it.
- Okay, it's, you're gonna,
okay, there's a seven.
- Yeah, yeah, so you pass, you pass.
And then there's a one.
- There was a one. You got close.
Okay, so you do pour
it on top of its head,
and it does shrink a little bit,
but after it shrinks, this magic,
you see this purple
glow go around its body.
- [Dani] Yes.
- And then one, two, three,
four, five, six, 12 of
them pop up in a row
and they're saying in sync,
"Go, go, Korra, she's our girl.
She's better than the
rest of the entire world!"
- What have you done?
- What? They're a cheerleading squad!
- What?
- There's a dozen of them!
- It's Shriek Week,
you guys, school cheer!
- [Ally] Okay...
- Your priorities!
- School cheer!
- 2/3 of our fellow students
are absolutely missing,
like, this isn't a joke.
- Wow, okay.
- This is why
I didn't want to get involved in that.
- So Korra actually throws
the Frisbee this time
expecting you to go out
there, gunning, running,
grabbing it and nailing it
and you're charging out there.
You're charging out there
and then Cleets sees you coming up.
Cleets comes up and is
going in to hip check you,
goes underneath and basically
launches you into the air.
So I'd like you to make
another physical check for me
as you get launched about
three feet in the air
with this check that goes
under and pushes you up.
- Nine, seven, five, and five.
- Okay, so you do land on your feet.
- Whew!
[Ify growls]
- It's still flying up in the air.
I need you to make a mental check for me.
So now is there anything
else any of you are doing
'cause it is now cheering for Korra, yes.
- Yes, okay, listen to me, S-U-C-C-E-S-S.
- S-U-C-C-E-S-S.
- That's the way we spell success.
- That's the way we spell success.
- [Dani] Yes.
- [Ally] Oh my God.
- You got it.
- Oh my God!
- [Lily] This is insane!
- S-U-C-C-E-S-S, we
know Korra is the best.
- Yes!
- She is better than the rest,
and it's not even a test.
- Go!
- Korra, Korra!
- [Dani] Yes!
- Fiends!
- Okay...
- Yes, thank you.
- I just...
- Hi, Korra!
- She like.
- I look at Megan like, how many things
could you possibly have fermented
because I'm running out of ideas.
- Okay, no, there is nothing else, okay.
There's not a hot sauce
that I've been working on
and perfecting all summer long.
But that one's actually
good and I know it.
- And so my roll for the
next one was two, two, one.
This one is really popping up.
- That one, okay, perfect
'cause that actually brings
us into the next round
because you do land on your feet.
You're looking around and Mothman
just lands on your shoulders.
- Brought something, I like,
have something that you can have.
You might need this.
And Mothman hands you
a little handkerchief.
I thought you might cry later.
- Wow.
[group laughing]
- [Gabe] Laughing and flies off.
- Wow, wow.
[Lily laughing]
- Mothman!
- Now it's Asterith's turn.
And Asterith says she wants
you to go out as far as you can
and catch this damn Frisbee.
- All right, there's
no worrying this time.
- Just give me one more physical.
What would all of you lie
to do in this end round?
Because now there are 12 of these plants
lining and singing and cheering for Korra.
- Okay, photography and structural
engineering are my majors
but I am also an ancient.
- Five, five, three, eight.
- Mummy and
what if I try to just choke one out?
Just kind of quietly like...
- Like one of the end ones.
- [Gabe] Yeah, okay.
- Like with my bandages
I'm like. [mimics slicing]
- Oh my God.
- [Gabe] Okay, make a
physical check for me.
- All right.
- And what about Megan and Seven?
- Okay, I do have a tiny.
I pull out like a really cute
branded bottle of hot sauce
that was all custom that I made.
It looks really good.
It's like green hot sauce and
it says Megan's Tabasco on it
and there's a picture of me.
[bell rings]
And I go, this is actually
delicious, okay, I promise.
All of my family said that they loved it.
And I pour it on the one next to the one
that she's choking out.
- That's a sentence.
- I got two sevens, a two, and a five.
- Perfect, okay, so we have two successes.
Make a physical check 'cause this thing
is moving and swaying
you're trying to keep up.
- Yeah, it's still chanting for Korra.
- Yeah, f*ck.
- Okay, so what I do is I use my brujería
to transform into our school colors.
- [Gabe] Yes.
- And I want matching
outfits for each 12 head.
- Can you-
- Okay, I switch mine
to pouring the hot sauce on Seven.
I'm trying to quietly pour
a sh*t ton of hot sauce down her back.
- Wait, I didn't go yet.
Okay, so I want to, snap of my fingers
have matching little Paris hat,
whatever those are called.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- With the red and black Bram University.
- [Ally] Oh my God.
- And then the 12-headed-
- [Ally] Oh my God!
- Mascot with matching red
and black pom-poms, thank you.
- Okay, make that brujeria check.
- Wow, she's strict.
- And I also say to her,
"Korra's not gonna be around much longer
if you keep doing this."
- [sighs] I believe in my babe.
Okay, I got a five,
five, a three, and a 10.
- Oh perfect, so the 10
is a critical success.
Are you actually trying to pour-
- Yeah, abso-f*cking-lutely. [laughs]
I'm trying to pour my
gorgeous hot sauce on you.
- [Gabe] Make a physical check.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Do you guys like my outfit?
- Six, three, two, f*ck!
[Ify laughing]
- [Dani] Oh no.
- So I'm just kind of behind you.
It's barely coming out because
I put one of those stoppers
so it's like. [mimics slow dripping]
- No! [laughs]
- What are you doing?
What is?
I already ate my taco, what are you doing?
- Is it burning or anything?
- This all happens simultaneously
in a beautiful fashion.
[Ally laughs and groans]
Tuti, you are in the corner
and just trying to rip this thing off,
and you do manage to pop one
off and it's like. [gurgles]
And it just falls down and it
actually, in familiar fashion,
crumbles into ashes that resemble
almost like flower petals.
- [Lily] Okay.
- And the other ones don't seem to react.
You do nail this.
Asterith chucks that Frisbee.
You see Mothman going
for it, and your legs,
the muscles clench and
then expand immediately
as you have a mighty leap
into the air, reaching out.
Mothman's going for it,
and you see his nasty,
little moth legs flying.
You grab them, pull them down,
almost double-jumped your way over it,
grabbed that Frisbee, and
what do you say to Mothman
when you grab it out of his face?
- Buzz off.
[group laughing]
- Wow, wow.
- Rude!
- You grab this thing,
hit the ground running,
sprint to the end zone
and you make that score.
[Ally cheers]
[Ify howls]
And for anyone who's like,
that's not how you play Ultimate Frisbee,
this is monsters Ultimate Frisbee.
We do what we want.
[Ally laughing]
So you are trying to pour this
onto our lovely, aesthetic Seven.
And as you go to do it, Seven,
you're not even paying
attention 'cause you're looking
at yourself and the rest of these plants.
- Oh my gosh, look at us.
- We're so beautiful.
- We match.
- [Ally] Oh my God, why?
- And as you bring this hot sauce over,
one of the plants that's not
next to Seven looks at you
and smacks it out of your hand.
- No!
[group laughing]
No! [laughs]
- And it doesn't break
when it hits the ground
but it picks it up and then it's like.
- No, ow, oh my God, it burns!
This sucks!
[group laughing]
- So this beautiful aesthetic outfit
comes across all of them
and now they're swaying
in these beautiful hats and everything.
- [Dani] Yes!
- [Lily] Okay, but there's only 11 of 'em.
- That's true, there is,
but they look beautiful.
- Hang on, there's Devin, Darryl, Danny.
- Don't name them.
- Wait, where?
Wait, I made us all perfect,
like 13 perfect Friday the 13.
- Oh my God, this is twisted.
- 13's my favorite number.
Where'd one of 'em go?
- [Lily] This is twisted.
- Oh, we know. [clicks tongue]
And you see in the distance
a head sprouts out of Terry's pocket.
[Ify groans]
[Gabe screams]
But the thing is, when you throw it out,
you see what looks to be like
a bulb of soil on the ground.
It hits the ground and
there's little tendrilly feet
that scurry their way over to the line.
- [Ally] Oh cute, like a Bellsprout?
- Yep, bury into the ground
and then now there is a 13th one.
- [Lily] I choke it out again.
- Well, a 12th one.
- I choke it out again.
[Ally laughing]
Stop, I already did this.
It's time to go weeding.
- Whenever you try grab it like,
it goes down and then goes back up.
- What?
- So it's basically
like Whac-A-Mole, you're
trying to choke a plant.
- [Ally] f*ck, I can't.
- But all of them look beautiful.
Sadly, Terry, your team did lose,
but it was actually a fairly close play.
Time ran out and it was a two to one.
You see Cleets, Mothman, and
Helsing all give each other
the dopest high fives
that you've ever seen.
And Korra looks at you,
but she doesn't actually look that sad.
She looks intrigued.
You see her looking over your
outfit and a little excited.
And you see Cleets looking at you as-
- I'm trying to catch these plants still.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah.
- You don't even notice
Cleets looking at you,
but the rest of you do see
Cleets staring at Tuti,
and a plant pops out near
Cleets, Helsing, and Mothman.
And you see it hand each of them
what looks to be like a kind of ticket.
- [Ally] Helsing, Mothman-
- Oh, they won the thing.
We didn't win.
Can we not go to the carnival?
I feel like we could-
- You can still go to the carnival,
there's just something
special for the winners.
- Okay, that's unnerving.
- [Lily] I don't like that.
- You didn't want a special?
But you're very special.
- I try to grab it.
- Oh my God!
- [Gabe] Make a physical check.
- Wait, I'm doing full backup for you
'cause you're gonna die.
- Ify, do you want to be with the team
or do you want to be
with this group right now
as they're trying to
choke out these plants?
- Y'all seem like y'all
got it handled over here.
- Wow.
- Sorry I couldn't.
I guess I got in my head when
I knew you were watching me.
- I'm gonna be honest, Terry.
That last catch.
- Well, it was 'cause
you were throwing it.
- If I throw something your
way, you might catch it?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's a fact.
- Make a social check.
[sensual instrumental music]
- Two sevens and a two.
- You want to have a drink later?
- Yeah, yeah, I'd love to, I'm down.
And worked up quite a
thirst watching you throw.
I got real thirsty.
The most thirsty I've ever been, honestly.
- She does the chest thing.
She does the pec thing back at you.
- Ooh, all right.
[Ally laughing]
- That was a weird gesture.
- Yeah, I mean, I like it, yeah, so uh...
- I'll come find you later.
- Yeah, come find me.
I'll find you. [chuckles]
All right, I'm gonna see
what my friends up to.
- Aroo.
- Yeah, aroo.
Yeah, but I can make you
howl for real, though.
All right, yeah. [chuckles]
- And then Korra does actually
make her way over to you
and says, "You know, I did work up
a little bit of a hunger,
and I'm good for now,
but how about dinner one
of these days privately?"
- Yeah, I'm available.
Not everyday, but some
days I'm free sometimes.
- I actually know a little
bit of magic myself.
- Oh, oh, I'd love to see it.
- Okay, I'll be in touch.
- Yes, touch.
- And then Korra walks off as well.
Cleets doesn't approach you.
Cleets sees you're a little busy.
- No, no, no, I'm still
trying to choke out the ones
where I'm going, "I'm New Tuti this year!
I'm New Tuti this year!"
- [Ally] Hero energy.
- I'm like, "Wait, wait, oh my God!"
And I just take off
their little French hats
'cause I don't want to ruin
them, but I don't help at all.
- You can even, you can
just telekinetically
raise all of them off with your magic.
- Okay, so I just take
off the outfits but I...
- [Ally] Oh my God.
- So as you're trying to grab them,
all of them sink into the ground.
- I'm sweating, I'm tired.
- So were those like, multiple
of the plants that we?
- Yeah.
- So okay.
- 13 in total.
- I did not-
- She put little hats on them.
- I did not multiply them, okay.
I just want to say
that was someone else
that multiplied them.
- Um, you did!
- I made sure they were accessorized.
I just made sure they were accessorized.
I did not multiply them.
- Oh my God.
- Okay, um...
- This is why I can't get
involved in this, okay,
'cause if there is a mission,
then I have to do the
right thing, but I am-
- No, yeah, I feel similarly.
[Lily sighs]
I will say Cleets was
looking at you very excited.
- [Lily] What?
- So maybe you'll be his
plus one to the carnival.
- Wait-
- What?
This is why I can't be
distracted with this.
- Yeah, he was watching you strangle that-
- [Ally] Yeah, he was super excited.
- Oh no, did I look good?
- [Ally] You looked amazing.
- [Ify] You looked great.
- And you were choking out
a plant, a tiny little
plant you were choking out
so you looked big and strong.
- Didn't earlier this
morning we heard something
about Teddy tripping in the dining hall?
- I mean, isn't he always tripping?
- Oh, he hasn't been tripping
since exactly yesterday.
He was pretty normal before that.
- Okay, should we go check it out?
- If you would all like to,
you do have time to go to the dining hall.
- [Ally] Yes.
- Before the clothes swap in the evening.
- [Ify] All right, let's take off.
- [Lily] I roll up to like, I'm sweating.
I'm out of breath.
I'm like, oh no...
- So you all make your
way to the dining hall,
and there's not many
people here right now.
A lot of are out and about,
but there are more
students than you saw out.
There are people.
It seems like it's about
half as full as usual,
but there are people here.
- Who's here?
- You do see Teddy working
the dining hall counter
as well as a couple of the other workers,
but Teddy looks like he's
basically just standing
at one of the areas like
you're going down the line
and someone's just offering you food.
- So he looks just like, really robotic.
- Yeah, he looks like
he's got 1.000-mile stare.
- [snaps fingers] Teddy, Teddy.
- Um, can you do the truth
thing that you did on the Dean
where we got to see him-
- Well technically, Teddy's her sl*ve.
You remember when-
- What?
No he is not.
- [Ally] She freed him though.
- Freed was what sent him on a rampage.
- I do not appreciate that language.
- [Ally] I feel like verbal was like-
- We stopped using it
- Who are you?
- You know, Terry the werewolf.
What about, do you know her?
- No.
- Oh, well...
- Hey Teddy, what are you serving?
- It looks like it's mashed potatoes.
Substance.
- Does he know that his name's Teddy?
I feel like we could give him
a whole new personality and life.
I mean, this could be good for him.
- Yeah, stop trying to erase your crimes.
- No, don't, he's not, we should do,
can you do the truth thing?
- Okay, okay.
- And see if we can snap him
out of it for like a second?
- My God.
- Um...
- Um...
- Yeah, um...
- Smile!
- [Ally] Yeah
- And I like, [laughs]
while they distract him
I do a truthitus spillitus.
- All right, make that brujería check.
Make a photography just for me.
- And I'm gonna smell him.
- [Gabe] Make a physical.
- What is wrong with you?
- [Gabe] Are you going
to ferment him, Megan?
- I might take another stab
at that sourdough starter.
- Nine, 10, seven, five.
- [Gabe] Nine, 10, seven, five, perfect.
- One, two, five, seven.
- Nine, five, five, four.
- Nine, five, five, four, success.
And what are you trying to do?
- I mean, I'm just,
I'm not actually gonna.
I have ideas for fermenting
when I get back to my room
that I'm really excited to try.
- Don't forget, you have physical
if you're doing something physical,
social if you're trying to like-
- [Ally] Definitely.
- Convince or like mental
if you're trying to
gauge what's happening,
analyze and that kind of thing.
- Okay, well, I am a psychology major
which I never really tapped into.
- Oh my God, yeah, dude, yes.
- It's been a runaway train
with the fermentation.
- Aren't you really good at psychology?
- I'm super good at
psychology so maybe I'll try
to get into the mind of
what's happening here.
- [Lily] Oh my God.
- Like what motive for this
plan or I'll look at Teddy.
- I feel like that psychology
thing could have come in way-
- Look, look.
- [Lily] Absolutely.
- Okay, look, night and day
I'm studying psychology.
I just want to leave it in the classroom.
Okay, we got one nine.
- Yeah, you got, so that is like.
- One, three, four, and then a nine.
- One, three, four, and nine.
Okay, so all of you do succeed.
So you're sniffing Teddy.
He smells a little bit like bleach.
And it's a very weird, specific smell.
Smells like a baby.
You are doing psychology.
He looks like he's not moving right
like his body language is off
like he's constantly adjusting himself.
And as you're taking photos,
you're trying to get a good photo,
but he's kind got jagged movement.
And you are doing this truth
spell so what do you ask?
- I think just that it
snapped the Dean out of it
for a second and it was just
like, who are you really?
Or, I don't know.
- Who are you really?
- I'm the 14th.
- And what does that mean?
- Oh, the 14th plant.
- We had 13 earlier, this is the 14th.
- Oh.
- Okay, now we can k*ll Teddy.
- What?
- What?
- What?
- I'm not a plant.
- Yeah, definitely not.
- [Lily] Ask what he's been
up to the last 12 hours.
- Can you lift up your shirt? [laughs]
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Wow.
- Abs.
- [Ally] Okay, is it abs?
- He's got a six-pack-
- Oh, whoa.
That's kinda sick, dude.
- Actually, I want to get
a photo from the back.
Can you turn around?
- Sure.
All of you do notice, Teddy's
belly button looks very red.
- Oh, you might want
to get that looked at.
- Yeah, did you try to pierce it yourself?
- No.
- We did that in high school.
- Can we just look around
and see if we see any vines
or whatever?
- No, I'm done.
And I reach over and
sniff his belly button.
[players laughing]
- What the?
- Wow, sick.
[Lily laughing]
- It smells like human fluid.
- Yeah, that's what a
belly button smells like.
- Yeah, I knew one day
you would smell something you didn't like.
- Bite him, bite him again.
You did this, bite him again.
- What, I didn't?
- Bite him again.
- I don't-
- You love human flesh.
Bite him.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, bite him.
- Well what if it goes into
you, what if it's more powerful?
- Yeah, why are you trying to k*ll me?
I mean, I've already been
dead a couple of times, but...
- Yeah, you can't die, bite him.
- Bite him, bite him.
- Do we see any vines anywhere?
Like, are there vines
wrapped around his legs?
- All right, I have succumbed-
- Have any other students
noticed that we're being weird?
- Nope, no one's reacting.
- There's like, one other student left.
- Yeah, as a matter of fact, yeah,
I'd like to check to see
if any other students
are moving weird like Teddy.
- Both of you make a mental.
- I've succumbed to peer
pressure and I bite Teddy.
- [Gabe] Okay, make a physical.
- Yeah, two successes for me.
A seven, nine, and two.
- Seven, eight, 10.
- [Dani] No.
- Is there anything
you wanted to do, Lily?
- [Ally] You can do mental also.
- I would like to do mental also
and try to figure out what's going on.
- Cool, do it, make it mental.
- Yeah, six, four, three.
- Oh no wait, I got-
- That's a fail, six, four, three.
- A three and a two.
- Three two.
But you actually do bite into Teddy,
but it's like a sour flavor.
[Dani groans]
Like, it was like biting into something
that hasn't been ripened
yet which is strange.
- Ew.
- And then you're looking around.
Nothing seems too very off.
You all notice that most people
seem uninterested, unreacting.
- Like no one's caught in the
same kind of jerky movement?
- [Gabe] No, no, thankfully.
- [Ally] Okay.
- You have discovered a
little bit about Teddy.
- Okay, is he the bulb?
Can we figure that out?
Is he like the bulb incarnate?
- You don't see a bulb or anything.
- He's the 14th, he's not the first.
- Wait, how did he taste?
- How did he taste?
- He tasted unripened.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Unripened, oh my God.
What happens when he ripens?
- Yeah, can we like, put him
in a paper bag with a banana?
- When were you born, Teddy?
- Yesterday.
- There you go.
- What?
- What?
- I asked when he was born.
- Oh.
- Yesterday.
- [Lily] What'd you do
in the last 12 hours?
- Wake up.
- Where'd you wake up?
- In the basement.
- Okay, huge clue.
- In the basement of the cafeteria?
- Yes.
- Wait, this has a basement?
Okay, off topic.
- I mean, no.
- Let's go to the basement.
Oh, let's go to the basement.
[group laughing]
- Oh my God, are you
going through puberty?
- Whoa, sometimes your
voice doesn't drop. [laughs]
- Let's go to he basement,
yeah. [clears throat]
- No, I get it, disguising yourself
in front of this scary enemy, I get it.
You're putting on a specific...
- [Lily] Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Okay.
- Just give him some
fermentation before you go.
- Okay, everyone this-
- Yeah, yeah.
Give him one of your delicious-
- I will just like to point out
that it looked like my fermentation
was causing everything to shrivel and die
and fall into a million dead petals,
but that happened without my
fermentation, okay, remember?
- Where are you getting
your fermentation from?
- [Ally] What?
- Where are you getting
your resources from?
Has your well of resources been tainted?
- No, I'm...
- [Dani] No.
- Yeah, where are you getting it from?
- I'm shopping at 365.
There's nothing problematic
about that store.
- [Lily] Okay.
- Where do you store it?
In your dorm room?
- Yeah.
- Don't tell this friggin narc.
- I know, I'm telling the narc everything.
- Yeah, you really-
- Hey, you're a narc.
Okay, hey, you're a f*cking narc!
Are you hearing me?
- Changed him, what?
- He's like, transporting.
- Oh no.
I take a bandage and I
try to choke him out.
- A human?
I mean, you're really strong.
- I'm really strong.
I'm a f*cking mummy.
- Make a physical check.
- While he's trying to communicate
where all your herbs are.
- Yeah, no, exactly.
- Five, six, three, nine, three.
- So it's getting later in the afternoon
and people start leaving and you've all,
for my sanity, you've
somehow convinced Teddy
to meet you in the back of the kitchen
so you're not choking a man out
in front of all of your other students.
[Ally laughing]
[Gabe moaning softly]
- Is he being choked?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Okay.
- Okay I see him pass out.
- It looks like you're
k*lling a human not a plant.
- Yeah, so this is, how
does it feel for you?
- Okay, but she already k*lled him so...
- He is still alive.
- She already k*lled him.
- I did not k*ll him.
- She already k*lled him.
- Violent.
- Wow.
- The curse is the hate
that you give into yourself.
- I just give it one final tug.
I go, [mimics choking] and then I...
- I was not involved
in this if anyone asks.
- He drops and dies.
[player gasps]
- Dies like human dies or dies
like a million little petals.
- [Dani] Okay, he's-
- [Gabe] Like a human.
- Okay, so I did not k*ll him.
- [Ally] Okay...
- [Ify] I tried, I-
- And you actually k*lled him.
- Okay, but all your fermentation is safe.
How do you feel about that?
- That feels good, but again,
like, do you want to talk about
what just happened or like,
have a little debrief?
- Okay...
- Do you want to talk about him?
You just told him where
you keep all your herbs.
- [Ally] Okay, yeah, you're right.
- I feel like you could use
your psychology degree on-
- Yeah, wait, can I roll
to be a psychologist
for Tuti after k*lling a human?
- [Gabe] Yeah, go for it.
- Okay.
- I didn't k*ll, he was
already dead, he was-
- No, he was not dead, I-
- I got a two, one, five,
but then there's a seven.
- [Dani] I'm sorry-
- Tuti, how does that make you feel?
And have you kind of felt this before?
Is it reminding you of
anything from your past?
- Yeah, I feel really mad.
- Whoa, that's an interesting word, mad.
- Is it?
- Yeah, I mean just,
I think it's really-
- I feel really frustrated
'cause I'm just trying to
have a fun senior year,
and I didn't want to get involved in this
and now we're all caught up in this,
and I'm just trying to make it go away.
I'm trying to get through this.
- This is a real breakthrough for you.
- It's really not 'cause I'm
just telling you all this.
- I'm so sorry, that's our time.
My Venmo, again, is meganmirror146.
- I will not be Venmoing,
I will not do that-
- So that will be $95 for
this session, but... [laughs]
- Do you have insurance?
- Did that help?
- I look down at the body.
I'm like, that's fine.
- He's dead.
- [Ally] He is fine,
he is fine, he is fine.
- He's fine.
- So can we go to the basement?
- [Lily] Let's go to the basement.
Yeah, let's go to the basement.
- That's interesting that you
want to go to the basement.
- Yeah, I want to stop these plants
from taking over the school.
- Okay, that's funny 'cause
you had a plant on you.
- [Ally] I do hear that.
- Did you know that?
- [Ify] No, I did not.
- The body's smoking a little bit.
- [gasps] Okay, there you go.
- Okay, yeah, I guess, I guess, yes, it's-
- My voice is kind of
stuck in this cadence.
- Okay, it's fine.
- I take the notebook.
- Oh, thank God, okay,
thank God, I'm free from-
- [Lily] Take the notebook,
gotta take the notebook.
- I walk down, I walk into the basement.
I just don't even wait.
- Okay, the body's smoking.
Does anything else happen to it?
- [Gabe] Like steam is coming off of it.
- You guys, we can't just
leave this body here.
- [Ally] Okay, um...
- I think it's gonna turn into petals.
- [Ally] Yeah, maybe.
- I wait three seconds.
- Can we kind of drag the body
with us into the basement?
- We're gonna come back to that.
Go ahead, Dani.
- I stomp on it a little.
[group laughing]
- Oh my God.
- Make a physical check 'cause it's-
- When you're not nurturing
and multiplying the enemy,
you are dancing on its dead body.
- Turns out Dani's actually the big bad
and we planned this out.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah, yeah, perfect.
- I got a 10 and a one.
- [Gabe] Okay, oh my God.
- [Ally] Ooh, duality.
- What does that mean?
- You slammed through one of the legs
and it feels like you're
stepping on a marshmallow
as it just is squished in.
- Oh you guys, this is not a person.
I've stepped on people before.
[Ally and Lily laughing]
This feels very marshmallowy.
- Can I just say,
the way that you used
your feet specifically,
this campaign is so funny.
- She's a goddess.
- [Ally] Yeah, Seven's a goddess.
- Worship her feet.
- Like, there's something on your,
you were gonna use your foot to do it
which I'm still laughing about.
- I'm gonna grab that from
the shelf with my foot.
- Yeah, or like in a
rom-com where it's like,
"Ooh, you have something in your hair."
But it's like your foot going
towards their face. [laughs]
- Yo, he feels like foamy.
- Okay...
- [Lily] Interesting.
- And it does start to steam
a little bit more and liquefy.
- Okay.
- Does it look like there's
some mass in the middle of it
like this was all fake
body and there's like-
- [Gabe] Mm-mm.
- Okay.
- [Dani] Okay-
- And make a mental check
as you're looking around for
the basement 'cause I feel like
you would not know where
the basement is in.
- Yeah, I'm trying my best.
Nine, seven, one.
- Then the body does just kind of like,
melt into a little bit of a puddle
of weird purple and green goop
and it just continues to
evaporate into the air.
- Okay, not a body, didn't k*ll him.
- Until nothing is left
but Teddy's clothes.
- [Dani] I think you still k*lled him.
- A nice, blue flannel,
a pair of hot shorts,
two sneakers, mismatched,
very confusing, and one sock.
- Can we check the pockets?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- I'm sorry, Teddy.
- Inside of the pocket you do
find a little piece of paper.
- [Ally] Okay.
- How to be a human.
Step one, smile.
Step two, feed the monsters.
Step three, do not forget
where you came from.
Step four, corruption
is vital to the society
that we exist in currently.
- Okay, um...
- I pick up his shirt.
I think this is your size.
- Whoa, actually, you're right.
This is pretty beautiful.
- [Lily] Bring it to the clothing swap.
Bring it to the clothing swap.
- [Gabe] You look good.
- Yeah, thank you.
I keep the shirt.
I keep the dead man's shirt.
- And you actually don't
have to go very far.
You stay in the same room as them,
and you do find something
that says basement.
And it is a door, and it looks
like it has a large lock on it.
- Oh, all right.
Well, I'm a big-a*s wolf.
I'm gonna rip it, I'm
gonna rip it, rip it down.
- [Gabe] Okay, make a
physical check for me.
- Ripped it, I'ma rip,
I'm ripping this, I'm...
- And you all see Terry
like, I'ma rip it out!
Rip it, I'ma rip it.
- Just wanna rip it.
- 10.
- Hell yeah.
- 10 but whew, it was close
'cause it was 10, five, five, one.
- Okay, so you grab
this thing and yank down
and it does not budge.
And actually you feel
a pain in your hands.
- Okay.
- Ouch.
- As you're grabbing this,
something pushes out of the lock
almost like little pins prick out.
And it would be fine except
for something very specific
that you haven't felt in a long time
except for when you had
to get shots, silver.
One of the few things that
can properly pierce your skin.
- Ouch.
- [Dani] What happened?
- What, okay.
- This f*cking lock just stabbed my hand.
When I it pulled down, I was just pulling
and I was like, I was gonna rip it.
I was rip, rippin it down
and it poked my hand.
- Okay.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- I got structural engineering.
Can I try to?
- Huh, yeah.
- Pick it a little bit?
- [Gabe] With what?
- My bandage.
- [laughs] Your bandage?
- [Gabe] Okay, you know what?
- Just kinda stuffing your
bandage into the lock.
- You know what?
[Dani laughing]
I'm gonna go down the line of each of you,
and if you are all agreed in
trying to break this lock,
I will ask each of you
how you want to do it.
- If I go again, I'm
busting the whole door down.
- [Gabe] Okay.
- I'll break down the, I'ma
bust the whole door down.
- [Gabe] All right.
- Forget the lock.
- I'm gonna come to you last,
but go ahead and make a physical,
but don't tell us what it is yet.
What would you like to do
involving the basement?
- Oh, I'm going to do a spell.
- [Gabe] Mm-hmm.
- It's a very old, ancient one.
Opets dooriton
- [Gabe] Oh my God.
- Oh yeah.
- [Gabe] That has not been used in eons.
- No, it's very powerful.
- [Ally] It's from the Bible, right?
- Dark enchantment, Moses did it.
- And it is old, yeah.
- [Lily] To the sea, to the sea.
- Yeah, Moses was like, "Open
the door to the Red Sea."
[group laughing]
- Openus dooritus.
- So make your brujería check.
- [Dani] Oh, that is-
- You are going to try to pick it.
- Well, I would like to
kind of structurally analyze
the door and the lock and to see
if it can be picked apart, yes.
- Okay, make that structural
engineering check.
How do you want to be involved?
- Okay, we're in the cafeteria, right?
- [Gabe] You're in a
backroom of the cafeteria.
- Incredible, okay, I would like to,
do you think that there
are some pineapples there?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Okay, I'm gonna set up a a prep station,
and I'm just gonna start cutting the skin
off of the pineapple.
- Ow!
- Whoa, wait, what the f*ck?
[Gabe screaming]
Wait, no, is all the produce f*cked?
Wait.
- The pineapple's screaming at you
as you start peeling the edges off of it.
- Okay, um, is this, like,
are we surrounded by plants?
- No, just get the other one next to me.
- Okay, I get a different
pineapple and I cut it.
- [Gabe] It doesn't scream.
- Okay, we're gonna, I don't know.
- [Lily] Cut a pineapple.
- [screams] I stab the first
pineapple a bunch of times.
I'm so sorry.
Okay, I take all the pineapple skins.
- That was so freaky.
- And I just make a simple tepache.
- [Gabe] The hell's that?
- You put some filtered water
over all the pineapple skins
with a really good top for fermenting.
- It's that simple? [laughs]
- This is just gonna
take like, 48 hours max.
- Okay....
- I'm out of fermented things!
You guys think my bag is
just full of fermented things
that never end?
- Yes!
- No, we have to start over, okay?
So I have this gorgeous mason jar.
I have to burp this every couple
hours if people remind me.
- You have to burp it like a baby?
- Yeah, you just have to kind of open it,
let the fermentation out.
- [Lily] I'm so upset by
this, I'm so upset by this.
- You can make a fermentation
check for 24 hours
and then we're gonna go around the table.
So first we're gonna start with you, Dani.
What would you get?
- I got a three, eight, one, and a 10.
- Perfect, what did you get, Lily?
- I got seven, two, three.
- Perfect, what did you get?
- I got a two and a seven.
- Oh, damn, and what did you get?
- I got an eight, eight, two, and a three.
- So you are trying to do Opentis.
- Doorington.
- Doorington, yes.
You feel a bit of give and
so you're moving the magic
through almost like it's fluid,
going through the bits
and pieces of this lock.
And you feel it connect with something
that you can probably twist and move.
And you're analyzing what
kind of door this is.
And the nice thing is, as
you figure out the structure
with the way the lock system is formed,
you can actually inform
Seven a little bit more
of where she needs to focus her magic
to pull this lock out of the way properly.
- Yeah, it's kinda like
a little more complex
than a Master Lock, yeah.
- Can you, like left, right?
- Just go left, left at your second left.
- Second left?
- Your second left.
- What does that mean?
- Second left then do a U-ey
in the lock.
- Okay.
- So it sounds weird,
but then it's almost like
you're driving a car
navigating through the weaves
and waves of this thing and left, left.
Okay, there is something
there that you can pull.
You start making your 24-hour pineapple-
- Yeah, tepache.
- [Gabe] Tepache.
- It's a delicious mildly
alcoholic pineapple drink
that you don't even use the
bulk of the pineapple for.
You can just eat that.
The skins give it a really
kind of dirty flavor.
- Did you use the one
that you m*rder*d at all?
- I might, yeah, I did.
- [Gabe] Cool, cool.
- That one was so disturbing.
No, no, you didn't use it, did you?
- You need a lot of the skins, okay!
- [Lily] No!
- How am I gonna fill a bottle
with one pineapple skin?
You need like three.
- Why didn't you only
use the normal pineapple?
You're just gonna make
it come to life strong.
- Maybe I can fight it
with its own medicine.
- And so as this is coming together,
you're able to pull three of the locks.
You feel there is a fourth one
that it's not really connecting
the way you want it to,
but Terry sees this opportunity.
Terry sees that all of you have
really combined, and Megan.
[group laughing]
- In 24 hours you guys will be thanking me
'cause it's delicious.
- Megan, you are a f*cking ghost.
You could have just gone through the door.
- f*ck.
- You have pulled aside
so many of these locks, and
Terry, you see your opportunity,
g*n it forward and break through the wall,
break through the door.
- Can I walk through the
door 'cause I'm a ghost?
- Yeah, you could've.
- Okay, as you're breaking
it down I go, "Whoa!"
And I just walk through the
door so it doesn't hit me.
- This whole time you
could have gone through!
- Oh, hey.
- Okay, but like, Terry,
but I loosened first through.
I just wanted to say it.
- I'm so annoyed at Megan.
I'm so annoyed at Megan.
- My tepache doesn't go through the door
and falls to the ground
and breaks and is ruined.
- Yeah, and as soon as it
breaks and it's ruined,
you see some of the
skin moving its way back
towards the base of the
pineapple that you stabbed a lot.
- Okay, it's for the best.
I will remake it though,
don't you guys worry.
- So you all start moving down the steps.
And as you're moving down
you see what look like rows
and rows and rows of
almost like embryonic pods.
Not pods like you saw of the plant,
but almost like there are figures
hunched up inside of these pods.
- Like little unborn birds.
- Mm-hmm.
Except they're like, the
size of an average person.
- Are they figures we recognize
or are they kind of ambiguous.
- I don't know, do you get closer?
- [Lily] Yeah.
- [Ally] Yeah.
- They're all Teddy.
- Oh, and he's naked?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Oh, that's, I didn't, impressive.
- Whoa, I didn't know.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Teddy's kinda got it going on.
- Can we go to one and try
to open it and get him out?
- [Gabe] Yeah, sure.
- [Lily] What? What are you doing?
- Yeah, I break him.
- It slides open, and
there's a familiar smell.
The smell that basically
where you. [snuffles]
- Bleach and baby.
- Doesn't smell like bleach,
but it does smell like baby.
- Okay.
- All right, I'm gonna do what I do.
[Gabe gasps]
[player gasps]
- What's your number, what's your name?
[Gabe babbles]
- Hm?
[Gabe babbles]
- What's your name?
[Gabe babbles]
I slap him, what's your name?
[Gabe babbles]
- Okay, he hasn't learned
to talk yet, f*ck.
- I'm gonna do what I do best.
- Okay.
- And I sniff the area
to see if I recognize any
scent opposed to this.
- Area as in Teddy?
- [Ify] No, no.
- Oh.
- Like the room
to see if it's a familiar
monster scent, if I know.
Basically trying to figure out
who might be tending to these sacks.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Ooh, yeah.
- [Gabe] Make that a physical.
[dice tapping table]
- Seven and eight, two, two.
- It actually does not
smell familiar at all.
There is a strange smell,
but you can't figure out what it is.
- How big is this area?
- Think like a living room.
- [Ally] Oh, okay.
- So there's about 10 of these pods.
- Does it seem like there's a life source
kind of plugged into each
of these pods or something?
- Nope, they're just
hanging from the ceiling
just kinda dangling.
- I'm gonna investigate
the area to see if-
- I look at this Teddy
and I really want to choke him out, but...
- No, you've gotten a taste!
- But I don't, but I don't, I-
[bell rings]
- This is just a reminder
for you students that the
clothing swap will be happening
in like five to 10 minutes probably,
and if you want to do some swap-a-rooning,
get your style expanding, I am commanding
that you go to the Quad,
and then you'll get your clothing swapped.
Style is a matter of personal opinion,
but don't be lame, bye.
- Reanu is just like, I
wish I never dated him.
- Yeah, that's, I forgot about that.
- [Lily] Yeah, too much.
- Seven years of your life.
- Too much personality.
You don't say that often, but
too much person, okay, no!
I caught you.
This Teddy's trying to leave.
- This Teddy's leaving?
- [Lily] This Teddy's trying to leave.
- And he was like, creeping a
little bit towards the steps.
[Gabe babbles]
- Oh, I know this language.
My uncle, he eats a lot of cookies.
He sounds just like this.
- [chuckles] You have a lot
of famous uncles, I love it.
- Yeah, I try to understand him.
- Make a mental check.
- And I would like to do a
quick, just cursory search
around the room and see
if there's any clues.
- [Gabe] Mental, mental for this one.
- Yeah, I did nine, eight, four.
- [Gabe] Nine, eight, four?
- Hey.
- Two tens and a two.
- Okay, so you are looking
around, it looks like it's been-
- Actually just one 10.
- [Gabe] Sorry.
- Yeah, actually two ones.
- What the hell?
- Whoa!
- Oh no, because the 10 is two zeroes.
- Yeah. [laughs]
- That's so misleading!
- [Gabe] Even better.
- Two ones and a two, oh no!
- So you are gauging his body language.
And you do know a little
bit from your uncle.
It seems like gibberish to some people,
but it's like, indiscernible language
is something you can pick up on.
He's speaking like he's
confused, a little shocked,
not sure what's happening,
but he feels something upstairs and out.
[Dani mimics munching]
[Gabe babbles]
- You're eating cookies
'cause it's the only way
you know how to speak.
- You get a gauge of
like, finding brother.
- Okay, so he's confused.
He said something about up and
out and finding his brother.
- Should we follow him?
- Should we follow him?
Go ahead, do your thing, don't let us-
- Yeah, I feel like, should
he just have his, you know,
stuff all out and about?
- Hey, stop it, stop it!
- [Ally] Maybe...
- I take a bandage and I tie you to...
[group laughing]
- He's just like. [gurgles]
- Well I mean, shouldn't
we just let him go free
and follow him so that
we see where he goes?
Like, who is his brother?
- I just feel like if he's
gonna go out butt-a*s naked
he is gonna end up on DontDateHim.
- [Ally] Oh yeah, yeah,
we should clothe him.
- You have your shirt, you have his shirt.
- I love the shirt.
- [Lily] You just got the shirt.
- It looked so good.
- Tie it around his waist.
Tie it around his waist, just the front.
The back is open.
The back is open like a hospital gown.
- [Ally] No one minds, no one minds.
- It's just a shirt tied around
the front with the butt out.
- And you were looking around
the room and everything.
- Terry, as you're looking around,
you do see the remnants of another pod.
And on the ground you see
what looks to be a golden eye
just on the ground.
- Hey everyone, there's a
golden eye on the ground.
- [Gabe] You look away-
- Oh, the DVD?
- The game? N64?
- You look away
and you look back down and it's gone.
- It's gone.
- Whoa, what are you talking about?
- It's gone.
- We were excited to play.
- Yeah, okay, it wasn't the game.
There was an actual golden eye.
- Oh, it was "GoldenEye."
- Yeah, no, it was a golden eye.
- [Lily] Where'd it go?
- All three of you make
a mental check for me.
- I actually...
- I still have Teddy tied to me, right?
- [Gabe] Yep.
- Mental.
I prefer "Diddy Kong
Racing," but I'm always down.
- Nine, seven, two.
- [Gabe] Nine, seven, two.
- Three, four, eight.
- [Gabe] Three, four, eight.
- [Dani] Nine, nine, eight.
- [Gabe] Nine, nine, eight.
- Ooh!
- Perfect, all right.
Terry's right eye has a golden pupil.
- Terry, Terry, you have the golden eye.
It's in your eye.
- Wow, oh.
- Can I, does someone have
like a compact or something?
- Of course, of course, I always do.
- [Ally] Can you show him?
- Yeah.
And they show you and it is true.
Your right pupil is a
beautiful gold color,
just like you saw on the ground.
- [Ally] Terry, when were you born?
- No, it's me, but this eye
got into my eye somehow.
You got any of your weird
juices I could pour in my eye?
- The tepache fell 'cause
it wasn't a ghost, too.
- [Ify] Oh, gosh.
[Gabe mumbling]
- Shut up.
[Gabe mumbling]
- Okay, let's go upstairs.
[slap resounds]
I'm gonna make a couple
different concoctions
and then we gotta go to the clothing swap.
- Terry, do you feel anything?
Do you feel any different?
- No, so I'm just gonna
proceed as if nothing happened.
- This is, no, get some
eye drops or something.
- Well, I have to wait to her next-
- Can I just, can I poke it?
[Dani gasps]
- No, just let me make my gorgeous dish.
Okay, I'm gonna need some cabbage.
I'm gonna need another
pineapple, some red pepper,
some onions, some cauliflower.
Can I find all of these
that don't scream when I squeeze them?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
[Gabe yelps]
- Oh, get that one out of here, okay.
- It's the cabbage, you throw it aside.
- Okay, great, great, great.
Okay, I'm chopping.
I got all of these like-
- [Lily] You can back up to like-
- I'm sterilizing ball jars
and then I'm filling them
with this stuff, water.
Okay, I have four things ready.
And the fermentation on a couple of these
is like a week long so...
- [Ify] Oh my God.
- Right.
- Oh my God.
- I think I can speed it up
with a little store-bought yeast, okay?
- [Lily] Oh my God, wow.
- Okay, so yeah, I've got things.
They're in my bag, but
they're not ready yet.
- Guys, do we let this Teddy go
'cause I can't have him tied to me.
He's ready to go.
- [Ally] Yeah, but we
should follow him, right?
- You should let him
go. We can follow him.
- Yeah, let him go and
let's get ready to run
'cause he looks kind of athletic.
- [Dani] Okay.
[Gabe gurgles]
- I mean, he's attached to Tuti right now
so I guess you'll have to
let him go to find out.
- Okay, I mean, we just have
to get ready to run, right?
- Okay.
- Yeah.
- Teddy, touch Terry's eye.
- Touch the eye.
- He leans forward with his
face and goes to lick it.
[Gabe slurps]
- Oh, you can get conjunctivitis that way.
- Is the eye still there?
- After Teddy licks it it
does. [mimics wind swirling]
- Is it still gold?
- [Gabe] Mm-hmm.
- Oh, this is...
[Gabe gurgles]
- And you look inside of Teddy's mouth
and his tongue is made of gold.
[Lily gasps]
I'd like everyone to make
a mental check for me.
- Okay, I just rolled...
- Oh no, some King Midas bullshit.
- Yeah, okay, that's...
- Eight, six, five.
- [Gabe] Eight, six, five.
- Eight, five, five.
- [Gabe] Eight, five, five.
- Three, three, 10.
- [Gabe] Three, three, 10.
- Six, 10, one.
- Six, 10, one, all right.
You all do know the tale of King Midas.
And King Midas was famous in the past.
There was some history
about King Midas here,
but it was all lost in archives,
and nothing has really been said recently.
No one's talked about King Midas
in probably hundreds of
years in this university.
- I am so glad I did not touch that eye.
I was really gonna go for it.
- Oh my gosh, wait.
I take off one of my earrings
and I touch it against his eye.
- Ah!
- It turns to gold.
- Oh my God, wait.
And I like, do the-
- No, okay, okay, okay.
- Stop touching my eye!
- Stop!
- Oh my God, thank you, Terry.
- I say we unhook Teddy.
[Gabe gurgles]
- Yeah, we gotta see
where Teddy's gonna run.
- Okay, all right, get
in positions, everyone.
- I'm not afraid.
- On your marks, get set.
[mimics releasing bandage]
[Gabe gurgles]
- Okay, okay.
- We all start running.
- Just starts flailing running out.
- [Lily] We all start running after him.
- And the thing is like, he trips a lot.
- [Lily] Oh.
- [Dani] Oh...
- 'Cause he's never walked before.
- Oh.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Okay, not as fast as-
- Easier than we thought
because I've got a bag full of jars.
- He starts going up the steps
and actually falls down first time.
And he's learning to run
faster, faster, then he starts-
- Yeah, he's getting faster.
This is no joke.
- And he does sprint his way to-
- [Lily] The f*cking
Dean's office, he's gonna-
- [Gabe] No.
- [Lily] Oh, like the Quad?
- [Gabe] The clothing swap.
- [Dani] Oh, he does need clothes, his-
- [Lily] He needs clothes.
- [Ally] Yeah, he knows he's-
- [Gabe] Yeah, that shirt-
- His ba*ls are covered, his a*s it out.
- That shirt you tied around
his waist did not last.
- Oh God.
- [Gabe] It is gone.
- Oh, it's gone.
- My gosh.
- That is a pasty behind running through.
- It's pretty hairy.
Are you sure he's not one of your?
- All right, you've been making
cracks for the past two days
and I've made zero suck
jokes, zero suck jokes!
- Wow!
- Yeah.
- [Ify] How much vampires be sucking.
- And you put both your
earrings on his eyeball.
- No Gawk 3000 jokes, no throat
GOAT jokes, none of that.
- [Dani] Wow.
- I left it at the table.
I left that in junior year.
- Let's see how you feel.
- [Ify] Yeah, all right.
- Say how you really feel.
- I keep my eyes on Teddy.
- Teddy runs out to the clothing swap,
and there is plenty of students
here exchanging clothes.
- Nice, nice, nice.
- And Teddy like,
Teddy gets to the center
of the clothing swap
near the humongous tree
and just starts burrowing into the ground.
- No, no, no.
- What?
- Remember, this tree was weird.
- Oh, right.
- This is a weird tree.
- [Dani] Oh, and he's 14.
- And that's the brother.
The tree is the brother.
[Ally gasps]
- All right, let's see
how deep he can get.
- [Ally] We watch him.
- He's taking a while.
He's a man. [laughs]
- Okay.
- So he's like. [panting]
And after about 30 seconds...
[spooky instrumental music]
And then a large plumage surrounds him,
pulls him right into the ground.
- Gold tongue and all?
- Yeah.
And it just kind of like,
you've ever seen those videos
of people putting down fake
grass, right over the top.
- All right, so quick
question, first question.
How thick is the tree?
- [Gabe] Thick as hell.
- Okay.
- Oh, nice, nice.
- [Ally] But like, how thick is the tree?
- How dummy thick is that tree?
- So like, are we talking like,
would I be able to wrap my arms around it?
- [Gabe] No, no.
- Oh, so it's that big.
- Yeah, so it would take
probably three of you
to wrap around it.
- [Lily] A f*cking redwood.
- [Dani] Whoa.
- Beautiful, honestly.
- Yeah, incredible nature.
- Incredible nature.
- And you see like, [chuckles]
a whole bunch of the students
just looking at all of
you surrounding the tree
and then watching Teddy
go into the ground.
- Y'all saw that, right?
- One of them's in the middle
of putting on a jacket.
Y'all saw that, right?
- Yeah, yeah.
- That's not your color.
- Yeah...
- [Ify] I think it's time, y'all.
- Time for what?
- [Ify] I think it's time.
- [Dani] For what?
- And I walk in the middle
of the clothing swap.
Some sh*t is going down
at Bram University.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- [Ify] If y'all didn't notice.
- Mothman shows up.
- The Vice Dean is gone.
There are plants everywhere.
Teddy, weirder than normal.
And students have been disappearing.
Have we, what's the name
of the chupacabra again?
- [Gabe] Rahfee.
- Has anybody seen Rahfee?
- Who here has a friend
that they're missing?
- Oh, that's a better question.
- Or haven't seen in like
a day or two, anyone?
- About like, 13 arms go up.
- [Ify] Yeah.
- Okay...
- People are missing.
We think it has to do with that tree,
and we found some more freaky stuff.
Now, I think the first thing I wanna do
is with all our powers combined,
let's beat the sh*t out of this tree.
Let's like, rip it to shreds.
We got a lot of monsters here.
- Yeah.
- Who can claw?
- Yeah.
- I want this tree on the ground.
- Axes, we need-
- Mothman shows up
and walks up to you, Megan.
- Yeah, yeah, I got you a dope
jacket for the clothing swap.
- Very cool, thank you so much.
I really appreciate it, can I see?
- And Mothman pulls out a letterman jacket
that he had in his bag.
- [Ally] Oh, that's so sick.
- And on the back it
says, Fermentation Nation.
- Okay, okay.
- Aw.
- I give him a big hug.
Oh, my guy.
I put on the jacket.
- Yeah, so he hands it to you
and then he puts on one and
there's holes in the back
for his wings and it also
says Fermentation Nation
on the back of his.
- [Ally] Oh, wow.
- Yeah, like, we're you know, like...
- Okay, cool, you found both
of these at the clothing swap.
These weren't custom ordered or like...
[group laughing]
For sure.
- [Gabe] Well, I mean, I-
- You just happened.
This one has wing holes! [laughs]
That's so cool, no, I'm...
- Well, no, no, no, no, no, hear me out.
So I found these at the clothing swap.
- [Ally] Uh-huh.
- I brought the patches.
- Okay, cool, that's very cool.
I'm sorry I roasted you and
you're doing something nice.
I'm just, honesty is key, you know?
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- We don't want it to get weird.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yes, true.
- That's what keeps, okay,
let's attack this tree.
- I do also notice a slutty
corset top and I say, I'm-
- Grab it now, I would say.
- [Lily] Okay, I grab it.
- You know, yeah, everyone, you know-
- So as you're grabbing
it you see Drusille
is looking at it and looking at you.
Actually, I do think that
is very fitting for you.
- Okay, when something like
that starts with actually it's-
- [Gabe] Well, okay, I knew-
- You're looking down on her, okay.
- I do not mean to look down on you.
I wasn't sure if it was going
to be your color or anything,
but the way that you're wearing it,
the way that you would wear,
it's the way that you're wearing it.
- I'm kind of white and brown.
I go with anything okay, honey.
- That is, okay, honey, yes.
- Okay, also, I wasn't
allowed to wear tops
that kind of showed off
my bosom in my past life
so I'm really going for it this time.
- [Ally] Incredible.
- When I was buried and
they gave me layers,
my parents told me, layers,
layers, layers, yeah.
- [Ify] Oh.
- [Ally] Yeah.
- Korra walks up to you, Seven,
and you see these thigh-high boots.
And she's holding them in her hands.
I'll be honest, I thought
you might like these.
- Oh, yes, I love those.
- Are they your, what's your style?
- No, that is my style.
- [Gabe] This is your style?
- Yeah, yeah.
- Something about you feels like you
just could step on so many things.
- I enjoy stepping, yeah.
- Day and night, all day, all night.
- You don't even know.
- But this is her shoe size?
Okay, say her shoe size
on the count of three.
- One, two, three.
Nine.
- Seven.
- Is not what it is.
- Yeah, nein meaning German no.
For sure, Korra, for sure.
- Then for sure these shoes are your size.
- [Ally] We try to make this happen.
- For sure.
- Yeah, yeah.
I'm gonna be honest, I um...
- It's okay.
- [Gabe] yeah, yeah, no, I-
- No, I appreciate it.
- Maybe I can find some sevens.
- Oh, yeah.
Or I actually have a personal tailor.
- [Gabe] Oh, what?
- Whoa.
- [Gabe] Oh.
- Yeah.
- Shoe tailor?
- Oh, they do boots?
- Yeah.
- [Lily] Shoe tailor.
- They do boots, they do boots?
- If you think I haven't
walked into a place
and brought something where they go,
"We do not tailor this.
We don't tailor suit jackets.
We can't tailor your XXL suit jacket."
- We don't tailor boots.
- [Ify] Yeah, we don't tailor boots.
- Yeah, they can...
- Terry, I got something
to run by you really quick.
There's a lot of cool clothes here.
Like, I mean, what if we attacked the tree
in 20, 25 minutes, okay?
- All right, well, I'll wait by the tree.
Y'all can get your clothes.
- Terry, you see Asterith
walk by all of you
in like, Wonder Woman short shorts.
- I'll be waiting by Asterith.
- Oh, cool.
- I thought it was by the tree.
- I thought it was by the,
the tree's the opposite way though.
- Yeah, but I'm going-
- Okay, cool, okay, great.
for whatever you want to find.
- And just to be clear,
this is a clothing swap
so we have to give
something to get something
'cause I just took this.
- I think it's okay, but
maybe Venmo the person
who's throwing it or something like that.
- Yeah, I feel like in a
monster university, you know,
the clothes don't necessarily match.
See Mothman and holes
needed for his jacket.
- Yeah.
- So I don't think the swap is necessary.
- Just peel off a little bit of your wrap
and put it in a pile.
- Yeah, I feel like that
would count, that will count.
- [Ally] I think someone
would love to find that.
- So this is gonna be
one of my favorite parts
of all of this because I'm
going to give all of you
the opportunity to tell me what outfit
you get out of the clothing swap.
And it can be as detailed as you like.
It can be as minimal as you like.
And each of you are going
to roll a social for me.
- Okay.
- [Dani] I keep forgetting my-
- I have good social, actually.
- I have bad social.
- Yeah!
[dice tapping table]
- All right.
- Didn't really work out for me.
- Oh, no, no, no!
- Not fail, not fail,
but just like, you know.
- Okay, okay, so we're gonna go around.
We're gonna start with Ify.
Ify, what are your numbers?
- Eight, eight, and a one.
- [Gabe] What are your numbers, Ally?
- Three, three, two, seven.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Two, nine.
- [Gabe] Okay, what about you, Dani?
- Three, four, two, one.
- Oh!
- [Lily] One, two, three,
four, one, two, three, four!
- One, two, three, four.
- [Gabe] Okay, okay.
- Yeah, didn't that feel better?
- No.
- [Ally] That was fun.
- All right, we're gonna
start with you, Dani.
What is the outfit that you think Seven
comes out of this clothes swap with?
- Oh my gosh, okay, so she
has a black velvet dress
that has slits on both sides.
Think Angelina Jolie with her thighs out.
- Okay though, okay though.
- She has hightop sneakers in black,
and then she grabs Tuti's bandage
and that's all she has
across her top, her boobies.
She has a bandage.
- [Ally] Wow.
- And a cute little choker.
- [Ally] Okay.
- Tuti, what do you come out with?
- I unwrap some of the bandage on my arm
that I'm just showing
decaying, decrepit hands.
- [Ally] Mm.
- Kinda sultry.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Corset top push my t*ts
way up, barely there.
Pretty flat chested,
just really forcing it.
Just really forcing it.
It's over my bandages.
I move some bandages to make it seem more.
Like, it's almost like
stuffing your bra a little bit.
And then leather Daisy Dukes.
- [Gabe] Yeah, oh, beautiful.
- [Ally] Whoa.
- And then clogs 'cause
I gotta be comfortable.
- Yeah, hell yeah.
- I gotta be comfortable.
I can't walk and have it be uncomfortable.
But I also reveal a little
bandage on the thigh.
- [Gabe] Sultry.
- And I'm feeling myself.
I'm like, this is the sexiest
I've ever dressed. [laughs]
- You see Cleets wearing a purple flannel
and cannot take their eyes off of you.
[warm instrumental music]
[Ally laughing]
So Megan, what do you
come out of this with?
- Okay, that's crazy that you said that
'cause I have a crushed
velvet button-up shirt
that I found and then I think Megan
is super into vintage dress pants.
So just like really sharp looking slacks
and then some old loafers
and that's the whole look.
- And then Terry.
- Yeah, I just picked up two things.
First thing I got is this
big, oversized FWBW sweater.
For Wolves By Wolves.
- Oh, okay. [laughs]
- And then I have these [laughs]
Air Wolfies and it's like a wolf-
- [Lily] Air Wolfies.
- A silhouette of a wolf with
a basketball in its mouth.
- Like Air Bud?
- Yeah.
- How can you tell that's not Air Bud?
- We just know, we just know.
[Ally laughing]
And they're the Air Wolfy 5 silhouette
so a nice chunky high-top.
- Wow.
- What are your pants?
Just no pants?
- No, I'm just wearing my
usual wear of nice shorts.
- [Lily] Okay, nice.
- Nice.
- Showing off the hind legs.
- And there's a slight
rumble on the ground,
and nothing happens after.
It's like a minor tremor,
but all of you look
honestly flawless, and
you feel damn good, too.
- Yeah, definitely, real score.
- You all kind of flaunt a
little bit walking around.
But Seven, a slight tear
appears near your hip.
- In my skirt?
- [Gabe] yeah.
- Oh, it's like going up even more.
- Yeah, I was like, it's
already pretty high, like...
- Oh, kinda nice.
- [Ally] Cool.
- Showing the cakes.
[group laughing]
Senior year.
- Perfect.
And you hear a, [howls seductively]
and you can see Korra in the distance
trying on a different jacket,
but it's more like a
peacoat kind of thing.
It's long and sleek and it's
got a nice gray tint to it.
And her foot is tapping
on the ground a little bit
while looking at you and then looking away
and back and forth.
- Is her tail wagging?
- [Gabe] Yes it is, furiously.
- Okay, wow.
I think she likes me.
- Terry, you're looking at Asterith's a*s.
It is an a*s out of this world.
And you're amazed by it,
but something else
actually catches your eye.
The big tree, its leaves
have gone from green-
- Its a*s.
- Well, I mean, it's all a*s.
The leaves have gone
from green to a dark red.
- Oh no, no, that's not good.
- Hey everyone.
Have we all noticed that
the big tree's leaves
turned dark red?
- Okay.
- Yeah, spirit week.
- What?
- Yeah, if you could stop squeezing
your undead t*tties for a second.
- [laughs] Your undead t*tties.
- And look at the red leaves.
- Yeah, okay, that's not like fall red.
That's like scary blood red.
- That's dead red.
- Yes.
- Mothman, did you do this?
- No, not this time.
- So what do we want to do about this?
I was try to band everyone here together.
- We run to the tree.
- [Dani] Okay.
- All right.
- I take out a lighter
that I use for smoking and,
I think we should try it.
And I just try to light the tree on fire.
- Yeah, great, great, I'm with you, yeah.
Oh, I don't know if I have
anything that would be like...
- Combustible?
- Flammable?
- Yeah.
- I can call a minor swarm of
locusts, but not a big one.
Just like a really, really minor swarm.
- I mean, yeah.
- [chuckles] Okay yeah, do it.
- You can try, yeah.
- You should definitely do it.
- Yeah, let the locusts eat that-
- Bring a couple locusts.
- [Lily] They're small.
- Bring two or three locusts our way.
- My dad can bring like, a lot,
and I can bring just a few.
- Can he do that thing
where he opens his mouth?
He's like, ah.
- [Ally] Yeah.
- I've tried that.
I can't do that, I can't do that.
- It's such a fun party trick.
- Make a physical check.
Just try to-
- Can I give backup or something?
- You know what?
I will let you roll an extra
die just because of that.
And then Tuti, are you
trying to do anything?
- Yeah, I'm trying to call
minor flight of locusts.
- Two or three locusts?
- That is, oh my God.
- [Lily] Is that not physical?
- I'll give you a physical.
- Nine, five, eight, seven.
- [Gabe] Cool, and what'd you get?
- I've been having the worst luck.
I have four, six and three.
- [Gabe] Four, six, three, okay.
- Okay, okay.
- So Tuti, you call seven locusts.
- Oh!
- That kind of just like,
crawl out of the ground and they're like,
flying towards the tree and
they're making their way.
And Seven, you try to
move up to this thing
and light it on fire,
and you're bringing this lighter forward
and vines sh**t up out of the ground.
[Dani gasps]
Before you get within
two feet of the tree,
they surround it in
almost like a chrysalis.
- That's almost like a chrysalis.
- Oh my God, is anyone else seeing this?
It's got kinda like a...
- Yeah, I know. I'm watching it.
- Like a chrysalis?
- Chrysalis.
Wait, I was just gonna say that!
- [Lily] Oh my God!
- The ground starts shaking and quaking.
- [Ally] f*ck, okay, okay.
- [Lily] My locusts!
- I wanted to attempt to
try and climb up the tree.
- You want to climb up?
Yeah, I mean, okay, here's a question.
Do you want to be inside of the vines
that are surrounding it or outside of it?
- Oh, no, no, no, no, no!
- Climb on the outside.
- I'ma climb on the outside of the vines.
- Okay, so then you do not get caught.
- [Lily] How are my locusts doing?
- Your locusts are inside.
They're inside the dome of chrysalis.
- You called locusts
and they just went in.
- They flew straight in?
- They flew in before
the vines surrounded it.
- Do you control them?
Can you control them?
- A little bit, yeah.
- [Ally] Can you like, see
through their eyes or something?
- A little bit, but
there's only seven of 'em.
- Communicate with them.
- Yeah.
- Make a physical check.
- All right.
- [Dani] Ask them what's
happening in there.
- [Gabe] What are your numbers?
- Nine, eight, five, five.
- Okay, so you do climb up this thing,
and it doesn't feel like a normal tree.
It feels dense and thick.
I've said that word so many damn times.
So many different meanings.
But you do start making your way up.
And the weirdest thing is
as you're making your way up
it feels like it's moving.
It's moving underneath you.
All of you see this massive
ball of greens and red
start sinking into dirt.
- No, no, no, no!
- Get off, jump off, jump off.
- [Ally] Terry, jump off!
- Yes Terry, jump off, jump off.
- Faster and faster and faster.
- [Ally] Terry, jump off!
- [Lily] Terry, jump off, Terry, jump off.
- I jump off.
- [Gabe] You jump off.
- Yeah.
- As soon as you jump off,
it's a good thing you do 'cause
this thing then shoots down.
- I throw a bottle of
pickled peppers in after it.
- [Gabe] Okay.
[Dani laughing]
- Can I check in on how
my locusts are doing.
[Gabe squeals]
- And they are like, you
feel them going farther
and farther and farther and farther down.
But you feel them go so far
you can't actually hear them
anymore which is strange
'cause your connection goes pretty far.
And now there is a massive hole
in the center of the
Quad where the tree was.
Everyone around is still there,
and they're just kinda,
"Well, I look nice."
- Nobody else...
- None of y'all are being
freaked out by this?
- So can we look down into the hole?
And it's so deep you don't see
the bottom kind of a thing?
- [Gabe] Chasm, yep.
- Okay.
- [Lily] I don't want
to deal with this today.
- What the hell do you expect us to do?
- Is Van Helsing here?
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- I go to Van Helsing, look.
- [Gabe] What's up?
- You and your family
are all about hunting
and stopping weird sh*t.
- [Gabe] Yeah.
- And that was some weird sh*t.
- Yeah.
- That's true, that's true.
That's true, that's right.
- So what do you want to do about it?
- Can you just sh**t your
crossbow down this hole?
- [Gabe] Sure.
- Yeah, I feel like you
could be Van Helping.
[Ally chuckles]
I feel like...
- A locust comes and hits you in the eye.
- Oh, I had an eighth!
- [Ally] There was an eighth!
- Oh, thank you little buddy, come here.
- I'm just kidding, I'm
just kidding. [laughs]
- Hello.
- Face is like...
- So Van Helsing walks up to the edge,
pulls out their crossbow
and aims down the hole.
Uh, just sh**t?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- [Ify] Yeah, I guess.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- [Gabe] Okay.
- We're in the blue
skies period, you know?
- And they fire a shot down and then...
[arrow slicing air]
Turn around, nothing.
[shouts] And a vine grabs around their leg
and pulls them into the hole.
- Can we try to grab him before?
- They're gone.
And immediately the ground covers-
- No, no, no, no, no, no!
- Oh my Gosh!
- Okay, okay, they, okay.
- Okay, that's kind of Cleets' cousin
so I just feel like he's gonna be upset.
- Yeah!
- Okay, okay.
We gotta figure out what's next, um...
- Um, I do a spell to
try to open it back up.
[Lily sputter laughs]
- [Gabe] Go ahead and brujería.
- My gosh.
- Okay. [laughs]
- Oh no, how long can Van
Helsings hold their breath for?
- Can I just start digging for physical?
- [Dani] Oh thank God.
- [Gabe] Go for it.
- Well, I got a three, a
three, a seven, and an eight.
- A three, a three, a seven, and an eight.
As you start shifting earth away,
it's refilling just as fast.
- f*ck.
- What did you get for your physical?
- Three, one, seven.
- So you start just digging.
You look kind of like Teddy.
And all of you hear in
the distance. [screams]
And I think that's where
we'll end this episode.
- No.
- Oh!
- We got to do more.
- Van Helsing was kinda cute.
- Tuti, get ready to k*ll.
[group laughing]
- What is that ticking sound?
Get out of here, get out of here!
- Oh, let's go, let's go!
- [Ally] We run.
[Lily screams]
- Have a good day.
You know, don't be afraid
to go behind a bleacher
and get a little S the D action.
- Wait, he won, right?
- [Lily] Yes.
- Wait, but, okay,
well, put a pin in that.
[Gabe laughing]
Like, rated X.
- It really did happen.
- Uh-huh.
- Okay, I have a question
for you as a vampire.
- Yeah, that you're talking to my ex.
- That's your ex?
- Can I come find you during the Art Walk?
- Absolutely, you cannot
miss my photography.
- I didn't know you very well before,
but I have been pleasantly
surprised by your company.
- Yeah, people always tell
me I'm hotter in real life.
[Lily laughing]
- Like, he rejected your follow request.
- Okay, we're going back to Old Tuti.
I wrap myself tight.
- [laughs] So tight.
Tuti, that's too tight.
Come on, loosen it a little.
[Lily mimics choking]
Tuti, come on.
- [Lily] It's fine, Old Tuti, Old Tuti.
- [growls] Seven! [laughs]
Oh, you're so funny.
- Aw, you jokester.
- You know how Girish sent me a note
about that friend date?
- Yeah, yeah.
- I haven't seen them in a
while so kind of crisis averted.
- No, that means they might be dead.
[Dani laughs]
- Oh.
