Isn't it dreamy?

It's so yellow.

Some kids have all the luck.

[both] Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

[both laugh]

Let's go ask Granny
if we can go to school.

-[Bugs] Granny, Granny, Granny!
-[Lola] Granny! Granny!

Land's sakes, kids.
What's all the excitement about?

We wanna go to school.

Oh. But you're too young.

Too young? We're already potty-trained.

Bugs.

Eh. Well, uh, almost.

I have an idea.

If we're too young to go to real school,

maybe we can play pretend school.

Hmm.

-Please, Granny. Please.

[laughs]

I guess it'll be okay.

As soon as I finish
icing my gingerbread house

school is officially in session.

-[Lola] Yippee! Yay! All right!
-[Bugs] Yay!

[both laughing]

[cake splatters]

[Lola giggles]

[pops]

Isn't Granny sweet?

[all laughing]

[Taz blabbers]

Taz want Harry Caray. [grunts]

[blabbers]

It's mine, I tell you.
Mine, mine, all mine!

-Hey, look, it's the tooth fairy.
-Huh?

[whimpers]

[Bugs and Lola] Whee!

[cheering and laughing]

Hey, you guys, guess what.

Granny said we can all play school.

[both gasp]

Ah, who cares.

Mwah!

What's so great about school anyway?

Lots of stuff.
You get to learn new things.

Like how to drink from a water fountain.

[slurping noisily]

Ah.

And make new friends,
and learn all their names.

[laughs]

There's all kinds of games to play.

Lunchtime.

[sucking noisily]

[burps]

Yeesh.

Lunch, schmunch.
I've got better things to do.

Okay, Daffy, but you're going to miss out

on the chance to get lots of attention.

All right, rabbit, you got me.

I'll give you 20 seconds.
What are you talking about?

I'm talking about show-and-tell, Daffy.

It's that time in school when you get
to talk in front of the whole class.

[chuckles]
And everyone has to listen to you.

Everyone?

-[graduation music playing]
-It all started when I was just an egg.

Not just any egg, mind you,
but a little brown speckled one.

And that, my friends,
is what makes me so great.

[cheering and applause]

I love school.

Now, where do I sign up?

[Tweety sobbing]

Oh, what's the matter, Tweety?

I can't go to school with you guys.

Why not?

I'm not ready.

What do you mean?

[sniffles] Well, for one thing,
I can't read or write.

I can't even spell my own little name.

[resumes sobbing]

[sobbing]

It's all right. You don't have
to know everything to go to school.

Really?

-[sniffles] Really?
-Yeah.

That's why we go to school,
so we can learn all those things.

All we need is a little practice.

What's all this for, Bugs?

Ah, show-and-tell?

Not yet, Daffy.

Hmph!

If we're gonna go to school,

the first thing we need to learn
is how to ride the bus.

[laughing] Oh, goody. Taz drive bus.

[mimics engine starting]

[mimics horn honking, tires screeching]

[mimics bus door opening]

All aboard.

[all clamoring]

-Wait a minute, wait a minute.
-What's the matter now?

-You're doing it all wrong.
-You're right, Daffy.

Thank you. Ladies first.

No, no, no.
That's not what I'm talking about.

We're supposed to fight
over who gets to sit in the back seat.

How do you know that?

I see other kids do it all the time.

Okay, then, Daffy,
I'll sit in the back seat.

You can take the front seat.

Oh, no, you don't.

I'm sitting in the back seat.

-I'm sitting in the back seat.

[sucking]

Hmm. Sneaky. Very smart, but sneaky.

never to fall for that one again.

Now that we've learned
how to ride the school bus,

-it's time--
-For show-and-tell?

I'm ready for my close-up.

Not yet, Daffy.

It's time to learn
how to cross the street.

That can be dangerous.

That's why they have
crossing guards at school.

That's me.
I get to help you cross the street safely.

[laughing]

I'll go first.

Hey, wait a minute.
Why do you always get to go first?

[grunting]

[blabbering]

This time, I'm going first.

But, Daffy,
you really should wait for Lola

-to say it's safe.
-Hmph.

Oh, no you don't, rabbit.

First, you get the back seat on the bus,

and now you get to cross the street first?

I don't think so, little mister.

But, Daffy, I--

I'm crossing first,
and that's all there is to it.

[crash]

Okay, everybody, line up.

Show-and-tell.

Nope, a fire drill.

A drill? But Granny told us
never to play with power tools.

That's right, Tweety,
but this kind of fire drill teaches us

how to get out of the school building
if we're ever in any danger.

Now, remember, whatever you do,
stick together, stay calm,

and follow directions.

-Everybody ready?
-[all] Yeah!

Uh-huh.

[blows whistle]

[laughing and indistinct chattering]

[blows whistle]

Not bad for starters,
but let's try it a different way.

Kind of like follow the leader.

Well, well, well. [laughs]

Look at all my good little students.

Are you all ready for school?

We sure are, Granny.
We been practicing all day.

You have? Well, what did you learn?

[laughing]

-Bugs.
-We learned how to ride the bus.

And how to cross the street.

We learned fire drill.

The follow-the-leader kind.

Oh, me, oh, my, that's wonderful.

[chuckles]

What about you, Tweety?

I learned that you don't have to know
everything before you go to school

because that's what school is for.

That's absolutely right.

I'm so proud of you all.

And since you're such good little students

I have a special surprise for you.

We're going to skip show-and-tell today...

Huh?

...and all go out for a wonderful picnic.

[cheering]

Hey, wait a minute. Where's Daffy?

[Daffy]
And for show-and-tell, I brought something

I know you're all going to love.
