This is the sweetest place I've ever been.

Making a cake
is an awful lot of work, though.

I'm just not sure I want to do
all that work by myself, little ones.

But if you don't, who will?

Well, since we all want cake,

maybe we could all
work together to make one.

Actually, Melissa,
hard work can be very rewarding.

I had to work all morning
to plant my new flowers.

But just look at my reward.

Besides, if everyone else is helping,
don't you think you ought to help too?

reporting for duty, chief.

Oh, wonderful.

Let's get started then, shall we?

Every good cake starts with a recipe
that tells you just how to make it.

And since my little ones
are still too little to use the oven...

Aha!

We're going to whip up
a no-bake cheesecake.

No bake?

Cheesecake?

You're gonna put cheese in our cake?

And make us eat it raw?

Well, I...

Now, hold on.

Granny knows more about kitchen stuff
than all of us combined.

And has she ever let us down?

-Bugs is right.

Our cake may be uncooked
and full of cheese,

but if Granny helps us,
it's gonna be delicious.

Taz like cheese.

Stinky cheese.

No-bake cheesecake it is.

Now, our first step
is to gather all the ingredients

that make up the cake.

Speaking of, we're missing
one very important ingredient.

Melissa.

We're about to start the cake, Melissa.

Aren't you gonna come help?

I almost forgot.

Phew! Good thing you reminded me.

I'll be there in a minute.

A long minute.

Do we have graham crackers?

Check.

-Brown sugar?
-Check.

Whipped cream?

-[can squirts]
-You better believe it, young missy.

Look, everybody, chocolate.

Yeah.

That's baking chocolate, little ones.

It's very bitter.

Now she tells us.

Alrighty,
next we need to measure everything.

[all] Check.

[upbeat music playing]

These chairs are this big by this big.

And the fridge is humongous.

I meant we need to measure
the ingredients, little ones,

so our cake
will have just the right amount

of all the things it needs.

[all] Oh!

Let's see.
We need a third of a cup of sugar,

a pinch of cinnamon,
two teaspoons of lemon juice...

[both] Teaspoons?

Would you care for some tea, Petunia?

Why, yes, please.

Thank you.

Hey, you two,
we're supposed to be working,

not playing house.

Hello. We are working.

We're making teaspoons.

[Lola] Granny.

How long
am I supposed to pinch the cinnamon?

Ehh, that sure looks
like a lot of sugar, Sylvester.

Oh, we're using all of it.

But Granny said
we needed a third cup, so...

there goes the first cup,

bye-bye, second cup,

and this is the third cup, the one we use.

Makes sense to me.

One, two, three, four...

Oh, that's very good, Taz dear.

But I'm afraid
our recipe doesn't call for any eggs.

[grumbles indistinctly]

Melissa, we're making the cake now.

Don't you wanna come help?

Oh, I completely forgot.

Oh, it's okay.

There's still plenty of work to-- Whoa!

Sounds great.

I'll be there in a minute.

Hmm.

Going to top speed.

Oh, the batter
is getting nice and creamy.

Good job.

[both] Thanks, Granny.

[shouting]

[grumbles indistinctly]

Who needs a food processor
when we've got Taz?

Now we just mix them
with the butter and sugar and...

Press them into the pan.

Nice work, little ones.

That crust looks perfect.

Steady.

Careful now.

-Just a little more.
-Yeah, steady.

[Granny] Oh, marvelous.

Now we can just
pop it into the refrigerator.

And while our cake is chilling,
we can start cleaning.

I don't know, Granny,
cleaning sounds like a lot of work to me.

And work can be fun. Remember?

[upbeat music playing]

[all] Taz!

What?

[all] Ooh!

Cake ready?

Almost.

We just have to decorate it.

[all] Oh!

[all shouting]

Oh, my, isn't that lovely?

Now, all we have to do is eat.

[all laughing]

This is good.

[gasps] Didn't anybody
save some cake for me?

[all] We forgot.

I wanted a piece of cake, Granny.

It's not fair.

But it's also not fair to expect a cake
when you won't help make one.

Yeah, you're right.

I promise I'll help out next time.

Um, by the way, when is next time?

Well, with Melissa's help,
I suppose we could make one more cake.

All right, a cheesecake!
