today's Zoom game is called caterpillar

race and it was sent in by Bosa s of

Chicago Illinois okay Zoomers here's how

we're going to play so we have the blue

team and the raspberry

team and as you can see we have balloons

so each team will run the course

starting on the right they'll weave in

and out of the cones and each player

will have one balloon in between them

and the player in front of them okay and

they'll have to hold they can't hold on

to the balloon but the balloon should be

be around their stomach okay and what if

we drop them if you drop them then you

pick them back up and keep on going okay

cookies Amelia's older brother calls

them suitcase cookies that's funny all

right when ailia made her cookies she

made them at home and she baked rainbow

sprinkles into them but you can either

use homemade cookies or you can use

sugar cookies that you buy from a store

so your first step for this would to be

spread spread a layer of frosting on top

of a sugar cookie okay you didn't either

you want to take the plain one do like I

don't know what whatever you want I'm

going to try both I'm going to do bottom

for the okay all right so let's take our

frosting and do our little thing

okay I love spreading frosting like on

cake okay this so Frost the top of the

cookie mine going to be pretty you got

it yep okay so next you want to take

another cookie so cord assume you're

using sprinkle I'll use a Sprinkle one

and you want to frost the bottom of that

cookie like this and you want to put a

lot of frosting on this side so that

when you put your handle in it'll stay

better all right there so next we going

to take a piece

of red licorice or any color licorice we

just happen to have red um and make it

for your purse handle and stick it into

the bottom frosting of that you might

want to RI it your hand yeah I'm going

to make it shorter make my purse handle

this is going to be the purse handle for

your

cookie there we go I'm going to stick it

right in there you got to stick it

really like in there cuz you don't want

it to fall out cuz usually if you have a

good purse your handle's not going to

fall

off stick it straight in there okay got

it then you want to

take your fosta cookie and your other

cookie and stick them together that the

liquor stays together okay like this Hey

look it's double side P all right hold

on I'm going to grab your towel some so

I can get the stuff dir is all right

Next Step we take the

icing and then we're going to make a

purse flat so I'm going to try and make

a triangle one but you can make any

shape experiment I'm going to do like a

half a circle I think you can use Center

like

icing is very tasty I have to say then

you want to use a chocolate chip and put

it on for the purse

now you can add anything else to your

purse cookie and in Amelia since she

bakes in or sprinkles we're going to put

sprinkles on the top of our sugar cookie

shopping s is going to look like when

not to use up water recycle and work

plastic newspaper and all other stuff I

help the environment by Recycling and

not throwing away things that could be

recycled like

glass

hi my name is Bonito I'm 12 years old

and I live in a Mafi Italy a Mafi is

located on the Mediterranean Sea in the

southern region of Italy called

CIA my parents are a restaurant here

it's called s ji Pizzeria I work here in

the summer make making pizzas delivering

pizzas and of course eating

pizza my mom is the head chef and is in

charge of cooking all the

meals my dad is the host and serves the

customers also my two uncles work

here besides working in the summer I

love hanging out with my best friends

we have a blast playing

cards and playing our favorite

instruments we play old Italian songs in

the

Square St Andrew square is a place where

people in my town come to meet hang out

and play music I love to play the

accordion

[Music]

every day my dad and I get up very early

to go to the fish

market at the market my Dad shows me how

to pick up the freshest Seafood like

lobster

swordfish and en

chies then we drive to our family farm

to pick fresh vegetables for the

restaurant my grandfather helps out by

water the

eggplants we grow lots of plants here

like lemons and

grapes today we're picking tomatoes and

basil for tonight's

pizzas now it's time to make my favorite

pizza it's called pizza

margarita here's how I make it first I

have to stretch and shap the dough

then add tomato

sauce add whole tomatoes from our

garden then sprinkle mozzarella cheese

green now it's time to put the pizza in

the wood fired oven let it cook for

about 5

minutes and yum now it's done and ready

dimes and quarters quickly we could do

this by

hand but it will probably take us a

really long time we thought it might be

easier to build a coin sorder to sort

the coins for us to make our coin

sorters we can use shoe boxes tape

string cardboard tubes and paper right

now we're only going to concentrate on

quarters and pennies Kyle and I will be

one team and Mike and Carol will be the

other okay do you have an idea I

actually do have an idea so say we have

the

box we got this box

it'san like a divider down in the middle

like there the Box will be facing down M

and we'd have a a board going right here

so they would separate the box into two

sections you take this is like the top

part of the the box like it's like a

bird eye view and then there's a divider

and inside it there's a bunch of little

circles well there could be a bunch yeah

just make it quicker at the very bottom

of that we'd have little slots that a

penny could fit through but a quarter

couldn't so if you shook it around and

the penny would find a way into the slot

and go over there and the quarter

wouldn't be able to that's a really good

idea so let's try to them so what's the

strongest paper cardboard yeah I think

the Orange is the strongest yeah what

paper should we use um I don't think we

should use Kyro cuz that'll be really

hard to cut try this I think we should

try some thick thick paper let's cut

that

like that and then the paper try putting

it like

that yeah that fish all goes all the way

down oh there we go I'll hold it up for

you right now and you can cut it across

the top thank

you I'll Trace some holes in it that are

slightly smaller than a quarter

okay so let's take a penny and measure

it

there there and make two more or one

more I think one more cut those out a

hold

it so make your penny can fit through

and it's going to go on and we just kind

of going to go like that till they all s

through like that just see if a quarter

would fit through

that

nope yeah uh-oh so let's put let's put a

couple w we have a problem it's kind of

too

high we me just cut some off the bottom

though and now let's try fitting that

in there there that's better that's

better okay all right so let's tape it

on the Sid let's

try some quite is they get they fit

through the bottom maybe we should tape

it to the ground

so if we use a lot of tape not on the

spots that have the slots but on the

spots that don't have the

slots okay so we're not really going to

know if it works it just go like this

of I hope the green

paper hey we got pennies let's keep

going I think this is really going to

help okay let's do that

awesome so the pennies went down there

and the quarters went up here we get it

yes oh yeah maybe we can even watch like

try one time watching so we can see how

it happens so what happens is this goes

like that and when it comes down the

pennies go through well we don't have

the cap on right now so so the pennies

go through but the quarters stay up so

it takes a to shake it pretty high yeah

it takes a good amount of shaking

but all right good job that's awesome

our coin sords worked really well to

separate Pennies from quarter that's

awesome nice next time on zoom we're

going to redesign our coin sorters so we

can sort all of our coins D pen nickels

in Bloomville

Connecticut we volunteer by visiting

senior citizens that live near our

school when we first began visiting the

seniors we were nervous because we

didn't know them and they're different T

then we saw that they liked us and

appreciated that we were visiting them

now we all know one another's name our

teacher called this a Mitzvah a Mitzvah

is when you give your time for others

it's like a good deud do you volunteer

in your community if you do you're

already a member of the Zoom team we
