it's called balloon T and to play all

you need is string and some balloons so

the object of the game is to tie a

balloon around your ankle and try not to

let anybody else pop your alone Kyle not

yet I have to tell you how to play

first anyway as I was saying the object

of the game is to try not to let anybody

pop your

balloon and at the same time try to pop

other people's

great hey everyone have you ever made

s'mores using chocolate and marshmallows

around a campfire well today I'm going

to show you how to make some fun Indoor

S'mores using fruit this was a fun

recipe that Sarah VI Chester New

Hampshire sent us first take a gr

cr*cker and break it in

half it look kind of like Square okay

okay then you want to take some cream

cheese and spread it on the gr cr*cker

okay now you want to take some

strawberries and blueberries and arrange

them on your cream cheese crap cr*cker

all right I'm going to take some

strawberry ooh this one looks good all

right want to take a knife and cut the

strawberries and if you're not allowed

to use a knife at home make sure you ask

an adult either for help or

permission so some blueberries on ooh

this going to be so good after you put

all your strawberries and blueberries on

the gr cheese you want to take your

other G cr*cker and put it on

top okay oopsie all right now let's have

to

I called s'mores because when you eat

one you want some more get it some more

hi I'm Banna I'm Britney hey I'm nor we

go to ad elementary school in Baltimore

muray and we're working together to fix

up our school yard this is Mr mat he's

our nature volunteer we're working with

him to improve our school yard that's

right together we we're going to turn

this schoolyard into a habitat that will

attract more Wildlife like birds and

butterflies and maybe we can even get

our school yard certified by the

National Wildlife Federation as a

certified school yard

habitat that means we'll be recognized

as one of over 2,000 schools across the

country that are helping to protect

wild but it's going to take a lot of

work you guys ready to do this

yeah

let's do

it today is the big day we're starting

to plant plants in our

habitat we came up with the idea for

butterfly garden a long time ago and

Miss Alice our landscape architect took

your idea she made it into this

beautiful master plan and now we're

going to use this master plan to show us

where the plants are going to go in our

butterfly garden since this is such a

big job we have the whole school helping

out

that's far I think things are going

pretty well we got more plants out

starting to

Brey I think it's going really

well each of us did research on what

kind of plants butterflies eat so we're

going to plant some of those plants in

our butterfly

garden our SCH got some money donated to

pay for the new plant this one is a

butterfly we butterflies like it because

it has bright sweet NE we know that

butterflies like bright colors to reach

a lot of bright colored

flowers before you plant a plant first

you have to get some

mulch second you have to dig a hole

that's the size of your

plant then I make sure that I carefully

take the plant

out

this plant is a ason my butterfly the

Viceroy likes this plant so right now

I'm going to pinch the roots because if

the roots are not spreading out the

plant will die after I put the dirt over

the plant you spread the mulch all over

the mulch keeps the plant moist and if

the plant is not moist the plant will

most likely

die after I put the MCH

on I spread some water over it so that

the water is soaking un The Mulch and

the plant will be able to

grow and that's how you plant the

plant over the summer I want our Gardens

to attract more and more butterflies and

to be more

beautiful we have a bird bath so that

birds can get w*r water but what do we

do for the butterfli it's a butterfly

garden so the butterflies use bird baths

have you ever seen butterflies at a bird

bath no we need to provide a way for

butterflies to get water it's called a

ping try Mr Met told us about it

butterflies actually don't like to get

their water from an open source standing

water like that all right they'll get

their water either off the de you know

much smaller Source or in the the nectar

that they eat or there's another way

that they'll get some liquid and some

minerals it's called puddling we can use

a tray like this and we can just

slightly submerge it into the ground and

then we'll fill it up with a mixture of

sand and some soil and then I'll provide

the nutrients the minerals that the the

butterflies need all of it is uh let's

mix start mixing it in BR I do want to

mix in the sand with this

TR what does the sand have to do um with

the minerals and oh that's a good

question what's sand made up of very

tiny little rocks that have broken down

to really fine sand and what are rocks

made of minerals look like cake Mi right

you can pour it in a little bit more so

let's add some water here we want it

very moist it look like a

mie every time we feel the bur we'll

need to remember to add water to our

ping TR and we're going to have all

those plants we're going to put in all

the plants to attract the butterflies

right so we'll have all of these things

that will help attract butterflies to

our butterfly Gard

so that's it for today next time we'll

argue about with your parents cleaning

my room about making me do chores I

argue with my parents about going to bed

on time where to eat out toys who has to

let the dog out how many stuffed animals

I'm allowed to have in my bed about

clothes my dad picks up really strange

clothes I kind of

argue about arguing whether or not I

have to eat breakfast what time I should

go to bed doing my homework about

hanging out with my friends I argue with

my parents about everything but I still

love them sometimes me and my dad argue

about who looks better and I always win

guys what do you and your parents argue

about and how do you resolve it ooh

that's a hard one

a lot of things we argue about are

simple little things like what sorts of

things little things like if I want to

play outside but I can't or if I want to

go on my trampoline but I can't or

things I like I have limitations I can't

do how do you resolve those things

usually we bargain and my mom says okay

5 minutes I'll set the timer and you

come in in 5 minutes and then everything

will be good I have little things like

that too like um sometimes if my mom

wants to put out clothes for me to wear

to school and I get up in the morning

I'm like oh no no my mom used to do that

and I'll be like all right mom I'll wear

those next week or something like

that no I don't like like when my mom

tries to like fix things that I'm

wearing like oh you got to wrinkle there

like pull it out or the worst thing is

when she licks her thumb and then wipes

something off my face my mom does that

in public it's just like she's just like

all right you got to I can't stand it

like scratching your face off you're

like okay I think you might have got it

oh I know one thing that I argue so much

about just all the time is walking my

dog

oh it's just like cleaning up his

remains

too sometimes we have really bad fights

and stuff like that or we argue a lot

but then in the end like I know my mom

says that I never realiz it like my mom

says that she loves me anyway in the end

always to your parents cuz how would you

survive without them I mean true so I

mean arguing is just temporary it's not

like permanent yeah we wanted to know

what you thought so we put out a survey

on the zoom website we asked what do you

argue about with your parents most

31% of you said the mess in my room or

other chores 21% said how I looked or

how I act 20% said time I spend watching

TV online or on the phone 177% said we

never argue wow and 10% said schedule's

like homework and bedtime what do you

guys think about that I don't know I

mean arguing is kind of like imp not

arguing is pretty impossible I think I

don't know yeah which one which one

sister and I came from Africa a year ago

we know how hard it is to learn a

language to fit in with new friends and

to do well in school this kids are from

kenon like my sister and I and the way I

help them is by touring them in all the

school subjects I also tell them about

my experiences here and all different

things that have happened to me I think

I must be helping them because they keep

coming back to see me do you volunteer

in your community if you do you already
