I got it! I got it!

-[yelps]
-[grunts]

Hey! I'm sleepin' here!

Watch this!

Whoa!

[grunts]

[growls]

You know, you really
should exercise your minds

as well as your bodies.

Easy turn.

No, I've got it!

This one's mine.

[snoring]

Ugh! Ow!

Aah!

You okay, Rolly?

Why yes, Cadpig.

I've always dreamed
of being a throw rug.

It's just too crowded in here.

That's the problem. Right, Lucky?
Lucky? Oh.

[grunts]

Cadpig, I think maybe
you've got something there.

We need our own space.

[shrieking]

[all scream]

[bats shrieking]

Come on. Maybe we can spot
a place from up there.

[grunting]

Oh, that cramp!

There's gotta be
some place out there.

Whoaaaa!

[thud]

Aaaaaah!

[grunts]

Ohh! It's a regular hay haven!

You know, this place is
just what we're looking for.

Our own hangout.

Yeah! We can move in,
and we don't have to worry

about nobody or nothin'
bothering us ever again.

[upbeat music playing]

Man, this has got to be
the coolest pad on the farm.

Yeah. [sighs]

Everybody's gonna be jealous
when they find out

we got our own secret hangout.

And that's exactly why
we have to keep it a secret.

Nobody tell anyone. Got it?

[Both] Got it!

Hey, I hear you got
your own secret hangout.

Hey, she bribed me with kibble.

Well, I guess it's all right
if Spot knows

as long as it's a secret
from everyone else.

It's a secret.

Hey, where is this secret hangout?

Ooh, and what are you gonna call it?

And why is your stuff
all over the ground?

-Huh?
-[Rolly] What's going on here?

I don't know, but there's only
one way to find out.

[All] Pug!

Quiet!

[whispers] I mean, quiet!

Do you want the enemy to hear?
The ears have walls.

There are spies everywhere!
Everywhere!

I think he's flashing back.

I'll take care of this.

Uh, two questions.

Who's the enemy,

and what the heck
are you talking about?

The enemy? Why, the cats of course.

The cats!

And they're planning the big one.
The big one!

Look, Lieutenant,
we don't mean to disturb

your shell-shocked delusions, but...

This is our hangout.

And by that,
we mean it is not yours!

So, uh, get lost.

[gasps] [yells]

Now you listen up,
you little pipsqueak.

I have officially commandeered
this hangout of yours

to be my Operations HQ.

[breathing heavily]

Lucky, Pug,

I think we should define the problem,

propose solutions, then choose an act.

That will lead to a resolution.

The problem is I seem to have
a pug on my collar.

[grunts, yelps]

Now you listen to me, Pug.

This hangout of ours isn't big enough
for the both of us,

so what are you gonna do about it?

[screams]

-[grunts]
-[grunts]

Well, that's a resolution.

Shut up, Cadpig.

Who does he think he is?
This is totally unfair.

Yeah. Pug stinks.

Well, this hay loft does have
a certain shabby-chic motif.

It just needs a little work.

You know what?
You guys are right.

[All] We are?

Yeah. Suppose we use
these bales of hay to build a wall.

We can make our own space.

Well, how are we gonna
move these big, heavy things?

We could use the pitchfork.

We could use this saddle.

No, we could use the pulley.

Hey, good idea!

Hate it, hate it, hate it.

How about this? Tempting.
But hate it.

Come on! Pull! Pull!

[all grunting]

No, these are all
wrong, wrong, wrong!

I can't hold it anymore!

Uh-oh.

Watch out!

We don't just need a new pattern,
my dear Anita.

We need an entirely new fabric

for my new country living fashions.

-Oh!
-[All] Uh-oh.

[Anita] Cruella, are you all right?

Cruella? Hello?

I've just come to a brilliant conclusion.

We'll use hay!

-Huh?
-Straw! Dry grass, dear.

You want to make clothes
out of dead weeds?

Accessories too.

We'll call it "clothes made out of hay."

Or better yet, "hay-wear."

I'm buying your entire field
of hay bales.

[whistles]

But how to make clothes out of hay...

Brick Master, Lamp Master, aah!

Here it is!

"Hay Master: Makes clothes out of hay."

Impressive, isn't it?

Well, what are you waiting for, you clods?

Let's make hay-wear!

[buzzing]

[sputter]

[sputter]

Stunning. Exquisite!

Pesticide free.

I'll have every haystack in this field
turned into hay-wear in no time!

[chuckles]

Every haystack?

Including Pug's.

Just because he's a bully
doesn't mean he deserves

to be turned into a fashion accessory.

Come on!

[snoring]

Pug! Lieutenant!

Wake up! We've gotta get you
out of here!

-Ow!
-Batten the hatches!

Hatch the battens!
The cats are here! The cats!

-It's just us, Sir.
-They... they got tanks!

-Can you hear 'em?
-It's not a tank.

It's Cruella's machine and she's gonna
grind us all into galoshes!

Lucky, it's getting closer!

You're lying. You're a traitor.
A cat sympathizer.

I know your type.

But you won't take me alive!

-[upbeat music plays]
-[humming along]

Why are we saving him again?

Because him not being
turned into a purse

is more important than
our selfish need for revenge.

[all grunting]

You're not taking me alive, cat lovers!

-[groans]
-[Lucky] Oh no!

We gotta get him out now
or it's gonna be too late for all of us!

But how? How?

-We could use this stick.
-We could use this sandbag.

No, we could use the pulley.

Don't worry, Lieutenant. We got you.

Heave!

[grunts] [yelps]

Everybody out!
She's coming down!

[Pug] You'll be court-martialed for this,
you polka-dotted punks!

Let go of me!

Do you realize what you've done?

You've... You've...

My map.

You saved my life.

From now on, you will be called friend.

I think I will now hit the deck
and give myself 23 push-ups.

No, let's all hit the deck

-and do push-ups together!
-[All] Huh?

A whole new Pug.

[howling]

All right! Double time!
Left, right, left, right.

Move it, move it, move it!

Huh?

[snoring]

Get the lead out of your tails,
you lily-livered, candy-butted mutts!

[groaning]

But we just hiked 10 miles, Sir.

And that equals 70 in dog miles.

Uh, Lieutenant Pug, Sir?

We are all, and I speak
without irony, dog tired.

That's what my maneuvers are for.

To toughen you up!

This patrol's the softest,
sissiest bunch of baby bow-wows

in this dog's Bark Brigade!

Well, right now, we're the tiredest.

Why don't we just set up camp here?

Ugh, can't we just
sleep where we drop?

After you set up a perimeter,
reconnoiter the area,

post a sentry,
procure some firewood, dig a latrine,

retrieve potable water,
build a command center,

and get me some dinner.

[snoring]

[shrieks]

Spot, I just reached REM state.

Sorry. I, uh, I thought
I heard somethin'.

Out there in the dark.

It was [yawns]
prolly just Rolly's stomach.

There's nothing around here
to be afraid of.

[Pug] You sure about that, Cadet?

What about the creature?

Uh, creature?

You mean as in a bok-bok-big,
scary, ugly thing?

Well, I don't mean ya Aunt Tilly!

I'm talkin' about a monster
so terrifying,

the locals only speak its name
[whispers] in a whisper.

[whispers lowly] Lockjaw.

[All] Huh?

I said... [whispers lowly] "Lockjaw."

[All] Huh?

I said "Lockjaw"!

[all scream]

[stammering] Lockjaw?

Ugh, what kind of name is that?

The kind of name
you give a hideous creature.

A survivor from the dawn of time.

[Pug] Lockjaw. He's half alligator,
half snapping turtle,

half disgruntled postal worker!

When he opens his choppers wide,

you can her them squeak
for miles around.

[stammers] Have you ever seen Lockjaw?

Nobody's ever seen him.

But I've heard him
stomping through the night

looking for his favorite dish:

Chicken Veronica on a bed
of marinated puppies.

Is that served with a white sauce?

Rolly!

Well... [yawns] better try
and get some shut eye.

Course, it may be hard to sleep

knowing Lockjaw could be
lurking nearby, huh?

[snoring]

Um, do you guys think
there really is a Lockjaw?

No way. It's just a scary story.

Pug's just trying
to yank our leashes.

[loud stomping]

Then what's that noise?!

Sounds like [gulps] something big.

And it's headed this way.

It's Lockjaw!

Now, now, Spot,

we are not going to validate your fears.

Let's look at this as a chance
to embrace new lifeforms!

[Cadpig screams]

Cadpig...

[loud squeak]

[clang]

I tried to warn her.

Oh, I tried to warn her!

It's Lockjaw!

It sounded like it came from over here.

Cadpig?

[quietly] Cadpig!

Oh, it's no use.

Lockjaw has got her.

Come on, guys. Pug's out cold,
so we gotta form a search party.

Who's comin' with me?

Out there? In the dark?

Hey, you guys go ahead.

I'll just go back to the campfire
and establish a command center.

Maybe I'd better go with her.

[chuckles nervously]

The chicken looks kind of shaky. Yeah.

Fine. I volunteer myself.

Search party, forward h*!

It's Lucky!

We gotta do something!

[snoring]

Wake up, Sir! It's an emergency!

[groans]

Cadet, if this ain't
a four-alarm catastrophe,

I'll roll your hide in breadcrumbs
and flame broil your behind!

Over here, guys!

I found Lucky's paw prints!

See? They end right here.

See? Right by these big old...

Oh, papa. Monster tracks!

[screams]

[both scream]

Retreat! Run away! Flee!

[screams]

[all scream]

-[thunk]
-[Spot yelps]

[yelps]

Hey! Let me in! Let me in!

What's the password?

Ugh! Nobody said anything
about a password!

Well, then how do we know
it's really you, Rolly?

Come on, guys!
Lockjaw's comin'!

-[loud stomping]
-Would y'all hurry?

He's gettin' real close!

-[screams]
-[squeak, clang]

Guess it was Rolly after all.

He was a beefy pup.

Maybe the monster's full now!

-[clang]
-Quick! Out the back way!

-But there is no back way!
-There is now!

Yes! [screams]

-Cadet Spot, you with me?
-Right behind you, Sir.

First Cadpig, then Lucky, then Rolly.

It's an all-you-can-eat puppy buffet,
and we're dessert!

-[loud stomping]
-Shh! I think I hear somethin'.

He's circling around us,
but whatever you do, don't sneeze.

Someone always sneezes
in these situations.

Ha-ha...

Ha...

Don't sneeze, Sir.
Please, oh please, don't...

Ha-chooooo!

[screams]

Uh, Lieutenant Pug?

Oh, must remain calm.

What did the Bark Brigade coach
say to do?

Run! Run, run, run! Oh!

Run, run, run... Oh!

Run! Run, run, run, run!

[wails]
Run, run, run, run, run, run!

Run, run, run!

Run, Spot! Run!

Run! Run, run, run,
run, run, run, run, run!

Right on cue.

[groans]

Can't run... can't hide.

I hope you get salmonella.

[whinnying]

-What are ya squawkin' about, Spot?
-Captain?

I've been chasin' after you all night.

[whinnies]

I'm takin' the pups on a hayride.

Climb aboard. [neighs]

Hey, Spot! Up here!

[squeak, thump]

Was that the noise we thought was...

[Both] Uh-huh.

[squeak, clang]

-And that was...
-[Both] Uh-huh.

But what about the stomping?

[stomps]

[Captain stomps]

-So where's Cadpig?
-I don't know.

She kind of blends in with this crowd.

Lockjaw. Ha!

What a crock. [scoffs]

Pug sure made fools of us this time.

Yeah, he's probably
back at the barn

laughing his head off.

[screams]

[squeak, clang]

Very good!

Airing your differences
is the first step in conflict resolution.

Now Lieutenant Pug,
Mr. Jaw wants to know

why you've been spreading vicious rumors
about him behind his back.

He finds it dehumanizing.
