I have a diagnosis.

Melinda, you have

Is it bad, Doc?

No.

The sloshing sounds mean
there's water in your belly.

Maybe because you were
upside down in the water?

Oh, yeah.
I was swimming upside down.

[ gasps ]

I knew this was my fault.

I'm the one who made
Melinda swim that way.

"Swimmer's belly"
is like "swimmers ear".

That's when there's
so much water

in your ear that you
get an infection.

But in your case, the water
is stuck in your belly.

Is there any cure?

Sure.

When I had
"swimmer's ear,"

my mom had to use special
drops to make it better.

But since you're a toy, we just
need to empty out the water.

Will it hurt?

Nope.

And once you learn how
to empty out your belly,

you'll be able to
do it yourself.
