That's Spanish, it means "hello."

I learned it in school today.

We had this neat visitor from Mexico.

He brought us these great pastries.
Churros.

It's kind of like a Mexican donut,
only without the hole.

Mexico is a country
just south of the United States.

Most people there speaks Spanish
instead of English.

[meows]

Actually, Dinah, I think "meow"
is the same in any language.

But cat isn't.

For homework tonight, I have to find out
the Spanish word for "cat."

Knowing different languages
is a good idea.

You can feel comfortable
going to a lot of different places.

to use when I first meet the king.

another language.
