I used to think history was interesting,
but that was before I picked up
this great book on prehistoric times.
See, "pre" is a prefix, meaning "before."
So "prehistoric" means "before history"
or "before people wrote things down."
I especially like the chapter
on prehistoric animals.
See? Here's a giant sloth...
a woolly mammoth...
and here's a relative of yours,
the saber-toothed cat.
Boy. Look at those sharp teeth.
Something tells me
they didn't make good prehistoric pets.
Still...
it's a shame
there aren't any of them anymore...
because seeing one
would be quite an adventure.
I know a place to go

A prehistoric bunny was discovered

First on the list is a wash, dry

You're expecting Her Majesty

-Ook!
-Glook!
[Caterpillar] "'Ook! Glook!'
Og liked the sound of that.
He tried to think of more
soundalike sounds, but couldn't.
What Og needed were words, rhyming words.
The trouble was cavemen
didn't know any words.
They mostly just made sounds
like 'arg' and 'grr.'
But the sounds weren't words
and they didn't rhyme.
So Og decided to invent
some rhyming words.
He invented 'wheel.'
And 'meal.'
He invented 'city.'
And 'kitty.'
Og confuses rhyming words together
and called them poems."
[clearing throat] City, kitty.
[Caterpillar] "Other cave people
grew to like Og's poems.
A few even learned to read them.
And thus Og became
the world's first poet."
So the queen should be ready
with a few good rhymes
just in case the cavebunny's a poet?
What I'm saying is
since most prehistoric people
didn't know any words,
the queen maybe expecting
talky-talky with the bunny...
