(THEME MUSIC PLAYING)

Oh, boy, we've done it.
We've made it to America.

ALL: Yay!

And to celebrate our safe
arrival to this new land,

we will have a feast
and give thanks,

so I will go out
and hunt a rabbit

to eat at
our Thanksgiving dinner.

ALL: Yay!

(GASPS)

(GULPING)

That's one steep gangplank.

Careful. Careful.

Whoa!

Bet you thought I was going
to trip and fall, didn't you?

But I didn't. (LAUGHS)

(THUD)

Huh? Plymouth Rock?

What's up, rock?

Oh, hello there.

I'm Pilgrim Elmer.

I have traveled here to colonize
this new land.

To mark the occasion,

we're going to have
a huge feast.

And we're serving rabbit.

Serving rabbit!

I'm a 100% rabbit, Doc.

I'll have eggs over-easy,
french toast,

and a bowl of whipped cream.

You know what?
Just bring the whipped cream.

I'm watching my figure.

I'm not here to bring you food.

You are the food.
And I'm hunting rabbit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

In America, you can't just
hunt someone without properly

introducing yourself.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Ignorance is no excuse.

Now, I'm going to show you
how to greet us natives.

Oh, okay.

Now when you say hello
to someone in our country,

the first thing you do
is grab a big stick.

- Like this?
- Yeah, that's a good stick.

Okay, now hold it out

and hit yourself in the face
three times with it.

- What!
- How are you supposed to hunt me

if you can't even say hello?

Okay, okay.

(GRUNTS)

Good. Now this is how
the locals will respond.

And when you want
to say goodbye,

raise your right hand,

make a "V" for victory,

now, poke your eyes
as hard as you can.

Oh, come on!

- When in Rome...
- Oh!

Ow!

Well, see you later.

Yeah, I hope I don't meet
too many people over here.

Wait, I've got you hunt you
now, rabbit.

Oh, that's right.
Well, let's do it.

What are you doing now?

Oh, I forgot to mention,

in our country,
before you hunt someone,

you have to treat him
to a spa day.

Oh, that seems crazy, but,
okay, I guess.

Ooh, yeah, that's nice.

Oh, deep tissue.

Very impressive
hunting technique, Doc.

(CHUCKLES) Well, I try.

I'm gonna give you
a five star review.

Are you comfortable, Mr. Bunny?

Oh, yeah, you sir,
are one fabulous hunter.

Well, I aim to please.
Time for your mud mask.

Nah, we're good.
Well, this has been wonderful.

- You are one talented hunter.
- Oh, thank you.

I'm gonna recommend you
to all my friends.

Oh, that's wonderful.

Now take care and get ready
for your business to take of.

Thank you.

(HUMMING)

Wait!

I'm gonna get that rabbit!

Hey, bub, where do you think
you're going?

I'm chasing a rabbit.

Well, if you're coming into
the country, you have to pass

through customs.
Are you bringing

in any animals
or agricultural products?

- No.
- Wrong.

What about those fish lips?
And these crows feet?

And don't forget about
these cauliflower ears.

I don't have cauliflower ears.

You do now.
Okay, you're all clear.

Let me stamp your passport.

Ow!

(GROWLING)

All right, rabbit,

say your prayers. Oh. (CHUCKLES)
Oh, dear.

I made a horrible mistake.

(GROWLS)

Here, Mr. Bear,
let me introduce myself.

Now you introduce yourself
to me.

(SCREAMING)

Hey, you're the rabbit
I'm hunting.

Yep. Keep it up.
You're doing great.

All right, rabbit, come out
of that hole, right now.

-(GROWLING)
- The bear, again.

How did that happen?

Now I got you! Ya!

Oh, I'm terribly sorry, sir.

I should have introduced
myself first.

Well, so long.

Oh, hello.

I believe we've met before.

(GROWLS)

(GROWLS)

Whoa!

Woo! Whoa!

Whoa! Whoa!

Oh, forget it. I'm through
hunting rabbit.

Maybe I should hunt turkey instead.

Great. I could use a spa day.

Oh, never mind,

I'll just order some
Chinese takeout.

And that's the story
of why we eat Chinese food

for Thanksgiving every year.

That's what you guys eat, right?

You don't eat Chinese food?

Well what do you eat then?

(GROWLING)

Ohh!

Run for your lives!

(YELLS)

SNIFFLES: Then I decided to go
for a walk to relax

but it's often so dark
at this time of night

but that's okay, because I can
see in the dark pretty well

and if there were street lamps,
that makes it easier.

Anyway, I'm glad that you have
a fruit stand open so late

because it's hard for a mouse
like me to find fresh food--

Yeah, yeah,
that's great, Sniffles.

Here's your grape. Enjoy.

Oh, thanks.
This looks really great

and I'm really going
to enjoy it because

you always have
the nicest fruits to enjoy.

Great, Sniffles. See ya later.

Cute guy but what a talker.

Oh, boy!
Look at all that cheddar.

We're really cleaning up, boys.

Yeah, yeah.
This is enough food

to last us for months.

And you're enough food
for a tasty little snack!

Cats! Run and hide
for your lives, fellas.

But why are we always running?

Yeah, yeah. And hiding.

It's cause we're mice.
It's what we do.

(YELLS)

(LAUGHING) That's the great
thing about mice.

They give up so easily.

Yeah, now we have
all the fruit and cheese

we can eat for ourselves.

Eee!

This banana tastes funny.

That's 'cause you need
to peel it first, you nit wit.

DARKBAT: That fruit does
not belong to you.

Who are you?

I am Darkbat!

A lone crusader
in the name of justice.

Return this fruit stand
to its rightful owners,

or taste my vengeance.

The only one
who's gonna suffer is you.

Get him, boys.

Hey! Where'd he go?

I'm on your head.

I'm on your shoulders.

- Now I'm on your knees.
-(YELLS)

And now I'm on your toes.

(YELLS)

Hey, I know this song.

Quit messing around
and help me catch this bat.

Don't worry, boss.

I know exactly where
he's going.

♪ Heads, shoulders, knees
and toes, knees and toes ♪

I'll show you how to sing
that song.

Sweet singing.

Now let's dance.

Now stop sitting there
like bumps on a log.

We've got a bat to catch.

(UPBEAT MUSIC PLAYING)

Oh, if you're having trouble
catching me,

maybe you need this.

What is it?

It's a bat mallet.

It's guaranteed to hammer
nothing but bats.

Gee, thanks, little bat.

Just don't stop hitting.

(BANGING)

This mallet must be defective.

It's hit nothing but cats.

Now here, let me see it.

Hmm.

Here's the problem.
You had it backwards.

There, it should work now.

No, it's still only

hitting cats.

Well, let me try.

- Hmm.
- You're right.

Must be a dud.

Hee-ya!

(GRUNTS)

Let me try that, Hubie.

(CHUCKLES) Riot!

What part of hiding place
don't you understand?

Now we gotcha!

Tired of chasing me already?

(GRUNTS)

(GRUNTS)

-(MEOWING)
- Ow!

I think you'll find
these bananas appealing.

And, and here's some nuts.

(MUMBLING)

Pete, get over here.

Coming boss.

Where are you little bat bat?

I'm on your left.

I meant your other left.

A little lower, to the right,

warmer, colder,
two degrees left.

Higher.
Actually, I'm on your head.

You did it, Darkbat, you got
rid of those cats.

We cannot let these cats
run us out of our city.

And do not worry, whenever
a rodent is in trouble,

I will be there.

Any rodent? Even capybaras?

I draw the line at capybaras.

- Darkbat, away!
- Wait.

You never told us
your real name.

Oh, it's me.

- Sniffles!
- ALL: Sniffles?

Yeah, I put on this costume
and when I do, it let's me do

all sorts of crazy things like,

(DEEP VOICE) fight for truth
and justice.

I'm just an ordinary mouse
by day,

(DEEP VOICE) crime fighting
Darkbat, at night.

Pretty cool, huh?

It was until you took
the mask of.

Okay, wait. (DEEP VOICE)
Here, take this flashlight.

Shine it into the night sky
whenever you need me.

And I will be there.

Darkbat! Away!

Huh! Who'd have guessed it?

Yet another superhero
who's just a little batty.

BOTH: Yeah, yeah. Riot!
