- [ chuckling ]
- DOC: Aww!

I'll be back soon
to tuck you in

and tell you
a bedtime story.

Thanks, Mom.

GRANDMA: There, there,
little girl.

Good night.

I'm really glad you came
to visit before you left
on your next trip.

Me, too.

But there's something important
you and I need to do

- before I go.
- There is?

[ baby fussing ]

Oh, my sweet girl.
Sh.

Sorry, Grandma.

What do you
need me for?

This is a big day.

Big day.

And I promised
I wouldn't get emotional,

but I'm so proud
of you, Doc,

- and I know you're
ready for this.
- [ gasps ]

- Oh.
- It's a toy sponder.

A toy what-er?

What is that?

I'll tell you,
but I assume

everyone will want to hear
how this works.

Everyone?

[ nervous giggle ]
There's no one else here.

You mean my toys?

They can't talk or anything.

Of course they can.

At least,
mine always did.

[ gasps ]
Grandma.

You have a stethoscope,
and it's just like mine.

I know. I gave you yours.

I assume you've figured out
what it can do.

[ giggles ] You mean,
make it so you can hear
someone's heartbeat?

Oh, Doc, no.

I mean this.

Your stethoscope, it...

Works just like yours.

- No way!
- [ Stuffy laughs ]

Good to see you, Doc.

Hey, Doc, can we
play dragon?

Ah, Grandma!

Dragon Grandma? That is
the silliest-sounding game

you've ever come up with,

even if I do
love me some Grandma.

Thanks. I love you,
too, Hallie.

[ shrieks ] Oh, toys,
go stuffed.

Go stuffed like you've
never gone stuffed before.

Now would be
a good time to melt.

[ animals screaming ]

The floor is yours.

If the floor is yours now,

do I have to get
permission to hop on it?

No, Chilly, you're good.

Sorry, Grandma.

I don't understand.

- You know?
- Know what?

- That my toys can talk.
- They can?!

Chilly, I'm gonna explain
all this to you later,

once I figure out
what's going on.

I've always known.

I was so excited to see
that you were carrying on
the family tradition.

Family tradition?

Can my dad...

No, but my grandfather
had the gift, too.

It skips a generation.

Okay, that's amazing.

But the toy sponder,

what's that about?

That's an even better
surprise than finding out

your toys can talk.

Better than getting to hear
what I have to say?

How is that possible?

Oh, it's time for us
to take our first trip
together.

Trip? To where?

Push the button,
and you'll see.

What's happening?
