to make some magical
flavor changing lip balms.

- Oh, I can't wait to try them.

magic in the garden

until they're ready.

Oh, but please take care
around the fluffy dandelions.

I need them for Uncle Alvin's
super floaty hair conditioner.

- We'll be extra careful.

- Mum says you're really
good at nature magic.

this and flick and poof.

Careful of the fluffy
dandelions!

My mum needs them

for Uncle Alvin's super
floaty hair conditioner.

[glass clanks]

I'm sure that's fine.

[both giggling]

- What are doing here?

- Just delivering some
ingredients

from the fairy supply store.

I work there now.

But I'm also studying to
be a fairy magic teacher.

- Oh!
- Wow!

A magic teacher!

Oh hello, I'm Primrose.

- Primrose is my fairy cousin,

and she's teaching me some fairy
magic.

- Oh, nice to meet you, Prim.

- Really nice to meet you too,
Mignonette?

Please could you teach us
some extra tricky magic?

- Ooh, uh!

Well, why not?

Always good to get some practice
in.

We started off with the basics.

Color changing.

- Oh, impressive.

[flower whizzes]

Let's try something else.

- Okay, what's next?

Well, since Primrose has turned
the tulips rainbow colors,

why don't we?

Oh, they're pretty.

How about we try some magic on
these?

- Oh, yes.

I love violets.

[both laughing]

- That's funny.

These aren't violets.

They are viola pansies,

the cousin of the violet.

- Oh, she's right, you know.

Viola pansies and violets
look awfully similar.

Great job telling them apart.

- Oh!

- Oh, I know.

Viola pansies are great for
music magic.

- Oh, what a brilliant idea.

- I'll go first.

This can be a bit tricky to get
right.

Um!

[gentle cheerful music]

- Wow!

[both giggling]

- I'll never be able to do that.

Huh?

[both coughing]

- What, what?

- What's that?

- Oh, the stinkweed
fragrance does not work.

- The clue was in the name.

[Cordelia giggles]

- Hi, Mignonette.

Oh, are you delivering
my two magic seashells?

- Ah, yeah.

More like five-ish now.

- Oh, more than I expected.

Wonderful.

[Cordelia gasps]

- What lovely music.

- No, it was Primrose.

- Come on, Isadora.

experimental jazz

as much as the next vampire,

but um, in the middle of the

[Isadora laughs]

I'm struggling a bit
with flower music magic,

but I'll try again.

- Oh, don't worry.

I'll fix it for you.

- I could have done that.

- Oh!

- Have fun with your lesson,

Bartholomew, would you mind
meeting us in the plant room?

We need to test out one
of our new hair products

and, well, yours is just lovely.

- Oh, well, it is, isn't it?

[both laughing]

- That was fun.

Is there anything even harder we
can try?

[wand dings]

[Mignonette murmurs]

You're good with clouds,
so this'll be easy for you.

That's really advanced.

- We are gonna have some fun
with clouds.

- [gasps] I love cloud magic.

[cheerful music]

- Oh wow!
[Isadora gasps]

That's wonderful, Primrose.

- I've never made a cloud animal
before.

- You'll be able to do this.

Maybe you can make a fluffy
kitten cloud.

- Okay.

[wand chimes]

- Oh, it's cute kitten tail.

- I wasn't quite finished yet.

[Isadora grunts]

[thunder roars]

- [Mignonette] Uh-oh, that
looks like a rain cloud.

- And it's quite close
to the fluffy dandelions.

Here, let me magic a bubble up
quickly

so we don't ruin them.

- You mean so I don't ruin them.

Oh, come on, Isadora.

You can make bubbles too.

[dramatic music]

Oh!

Oh no!

- Oh my.

Um.

Isadora, stay calm.

I think I can help.

- No, thank you.

I can get out of this myself.

Whoa!
[Primrose gasps]

Woo hoo!

- Oh, fairy kids trapped in
bubbles

doesn't seem to be in this book.

- Whoa!

[wind blows]

Oh no!

- Isadora!

[triumphant music]

- Whoa!

- Huh?

- Oh, dear.

I don't know any fairy magic

that can pop a bubble this big
and strong.

- I thought you knew
everything about fairy magic.

- Not even close.

Maybe we could call for
my dad and Aunt Cordelia.

- No, I want to do this myself.

I want to show I can be just
as good as you, Primrose.

- What do you mean?

You're just as good as me.

- No, I'm not.

My tulip turned back to yellow,

my flower music was terrible,

and now I've got myself
stuck in this big bubble.

Whoa!

[Primrose gasps]

- Oh!

- Isadora, you can do loads of
fairy magic

and incredible vampire things,

like speed flying and shape
shifting.

I think you're amazing.

- What?

Wow, you do?

I guess having fairy magic

and vampire talents is pretty
cool.

[Isadora gasps]

- Did you see that?

The bubble's getting weaker.

Say something else good about
yourself.

- Uh, I am good at flying.

- [gasps] Whoa!

- It's working, Isadora.

- I think maybe being mean to
myself

has made the bubble really mean

and really hard to get out of.

- Moody Magic can cause a lot of
problems.

- Well, I'm not great at magic,
so I get cross with myself.

Then seeing how good you are,
Primrose,

made me feel a bit jealous.

- Awe, Isadora, I practice a lot

and go to fairy school where
we learn magic all day.

You go to human school
and learn different stuff.

- Hmm, I guess

- Isadora, I've practiced
a lot of different things.

Sometimes I'm good at them,

but a lot of the time I'm not,
like being a delivery fairy.

[both laughing]

But it doesn't matter

because the thing I'm best at is
being me.

[Isadora laughs]

- I'm great at being me too,
half fairy, half vampire.

[bubble gurgles]

[Isadora grunts]

But that can't get me out of
this bubble.

[gasps] Or can it?

If there isn't any fairy magic
that can get me out of this,

maybe there's something vampirey
I can do.

[triumphant music]

[both gasping]

Yeah!

- Wow, Isadora!

- Ta da!

- That's the coolest thing I've
ever seen.

- Thanks, Primrose.

[both giggling]

- [groans] Cordelia help!

Please!

- Oh, we spilled a sample

of Uncle Alvin's super
floaty hair conditioner

on dad's shoes.

- The good news is it really
works.

- [giggles] Maybe I
could try a bit of magic.

- Ah, thank you.

What?

[Bartholomew screams]

Ah!

- I made his shoes as heavy

as the least floaty
thing I could think of.

Rocks.

- Oh, thank you.

Isadora, help.

I'm stuck.

- Oops.

I was better at magic than I
thought.
