that's far for a lot of people.

Yeah. We've... I've had
around six showings,

but it's just not any serious interest.

I mean, there's 10 people
buying in the Bird Streets at 30 million

for every one buying in Manhattan Beach.

So the only thing
that comes to my mind is price.

is there's no pool.

There's not a lot of buyers willing
to spend $5 million without a pool,

in the Hollywood Hills.

When I sold that house,

there'd only been four sales
ever in the Hills

above $5 million without a pool.

This was my first listing in a long time.

It was giving me confidence.

I staged it, I had paintings in it,

and I was so excited to sell it.

And then all of a sudden, she's like,
"Nope, change of plans."

She wants to take it
off the market indefinitely

and just lease it.

Maybe this is a sign,

like maybe I'm not
supposed to be doing real estate.

Also, I have got a great announcement.

I have a huge, huge f*cking listing
that I just got.

I wanna tell you guys about it.

You guys know that Kanye West
bought a house in Malibu for $57 million?

-Yeah.
-[Alanna] And tore it apart.

I have now been asked
to resell it for him.

It's only about a 4,000 square-foot house.

Arguably one of the most expensive houses
in the world per square foot.

And that's because one of
the most renowned architects,

Tadao Ando, built this house.

He's really known for his concrete work.

He was the architect behind the house
Beyoncé and Jay-Z paid $200 million for.

The biggest sale
in the history of California.

It wouldn't have sold for $200 million
without Ando behind it.

[Alanna] Wow.

This is arguably a more unique house,
although it's much smaller,

so it's like a little gem.

This is what it looked like
when he bought it two years ago.

It's got views of the entire ocean.

And then this is what it looks like today,
so you'll see that the glazing is gone.

You don't have any windows,
doors, any interior.

Because he did remove
the HVAC, plumbing, windows,

electrical, just about everything.

So it's down to the concrete.

when he put all that money
into the penthouses that haven't sold.

There's a lot of rumors
as to why it's been taken apart.

I don't know the complete reason,

but it certainly creates
an intrigue for people.

The asking price is gonna be $53 million.

That's not a reasonable price.

Given what the home
has been stripped down to...

...the numbers just don't add up.

Maybe a three in front of it? Maybe?

Okay. When I first moved to Los Angeles...
Before... I now live in Manhattan Beach.

This is where I was looking at,
and we purchased a home on Dona Susana.

I'm actually very familiar with the Donas,

and I know how special
this location specifically is.

[Michelle] A lot of families live here,
young families.

Because of the location,
you have all the private schools nearby.

[Chelsea] My kids are three and five.
Do you have any children?

So this is a decent-size primary,
but I feel like it's not huge.

But, you know, waking up to this view
and waking up to that natural light

is probably what's really special
about this particular primary.

They could've put it anywhere else,
but I think it's nice they put it here.

a young couple, family.
