Come on! Come on!

Alvin!

Alvin?

Ah, what's the point?
The school year's basically over.

[bell rings]

[kids cheer]

[sighs]

We can't waste summer vacation
like last year.

You mean like you did last year.
Personally, I enjoyed myself.

Simon, let's focus on the road ahead.

I've made a list of summer activities
we should accomplish.

First, obviously, take a deep breath.
You know: relax.

I for one have been working
way too hard this year!

[Alvin] Number 5: finish video game.

Nothing more important
for good hand-eye coordination!

Number 19: pool time!

One of my favourites

is to master a double gator
with a sonic twist

off the diving board.

Number 56:

we've got to build
a really cool tree fort.

We already have one!

And we get to build another one!

Guys, come on, this will be fun!
Amazing!

I love the smell
of the first day of summer!

Guys, can you feel it?

Yum! I mean, yeah!

-What are you doing?
-I put the TV in here

so we can play in bed.

Oh, can I play?

No! Not right now.

What happened
to the summer activity list?

On the list, #5 and #1...

Yep. Video games and relaxing.
They are on the list.

[expl*si*n in video game]

No! No!
How did that happen?

Guys, just stop talking!
You're distracting me.

I guess he hasn't started
the relaxing part yet.

We'll be outside, Alvin.

There's a beautiful sunset.
We're going to enjoy it.

Stop talking!

That should have been on your list
instead of gaming.

Simon, give it up.
He's not paying attention.

[hypnotic music]

Trying to concentrate.
Keep it down.

It's your back to school supplies.

You don't remember talking
about this a few hours ago?

No! When would we have talked
about back to school supplies?

A few hours ago?

Oh, right.
I obviously wasn't paying attention.

I don't need to be focused
on back to school supplies right now.

School isn't for ya know another...

Two days? What?

Welcome to the conversation!
We've only been telling you all summer!

How is this possible?

No! No!

Alvin, I think you just have to...

Theodore, let him process this.

We have no time!

Dave!

Hold on, Alvin.

No, Dave, I've got to talk to you now.

Alvin, I'm working. Give me a minute.

-Dave, there's a fire!
-What?

Not literally, Dave.
But a fire is burning away at my youth,

and you are to blame!

What are you talking about?

Simple! Simple, Dave!

You let me waste my summer
on video games

instead of being outside
and doing stuff on my list!

I am tired of fighting with you.
And you said...

It's not about who said what.
The point is, summer is almost over!

We've got to make this weekend count

by cramming all my summer plans
into 2 days!

Alvin, you have to take responsibility
for how you spent your summer.

Thank you! And don't worry.
I'll take care of everything.

Oh good!
You guys are both up.

Let's get the last days
of summer started!

What?

So we don't waste valuable time,
I've made you cereal.

Choke it down,
and let's go in a couple of minutes.

Couple of minutes?

Where's Dave?

Dave's already in the car waiting.
So come on, let's get going.

Good morning, lazy bones!

Sit up, Dave! Come on!

There we go.

[splutters and coughs]

Man, that is really strong!

Theodore and Simon are already
in the car. We've a busy schedule.

So drink up, come on!

-Dave, what are we waiting for?
-I'm looking over your list.

There's no way
we'll be able to do all this.

Dave, come on now.

Are we doers or donters?

OK? Let's just go one by one
down the list.

As soon as we finish an activity,
we'll do the next one.

Please, Dave, put the car in drive,

take your foot off the brake,
hit the gas,

and let's start this amazing,
very fun, very enjoyable day!

[the Chipettes] Wait!

Just take off, Dave.

-Start the car!
-Wait!

We want to come!

Nope, sorry, can't come!

Woo-hoo!

Are we going home now?

Yeah, it's been quite a day.

No! I've got one more thing
on my list.

-I've saved the best for last!
-Alvin, we have school tomorrow.
