my wife was assembling some chairs
that we were gonna put out on our deck.

She asked me to come help her.

I hate assembling things.
It's in my marriage contract.

I don't have a marriage contract,
but if I did,

my wife would be
the first one to write it in.

She just walked out of the room.
She just disappeared on me.

Left me there by myself.

But I want you to think for a moment about
someone in your life you're close to.

They've got some issues, don't they?

If you're dating someone right now,

you're thinking
about your boyfriend or girlfriend,

"I'm not seeing any of that."
Well, just give it some time.

When you think about the people in
your life that you love, you're close to.

Do you have a passion

to see that person
have a relationship with Jesus Christ?

I know that I should care
about the people in my life

who don't have
a personal relationship with God.

But in my everyday life, I am disappointed

that I haven't led more people
to faith in Jesus Christ,

that I haven't invited
more people to come to church.

And I need reminders
to care about other people,

to have a passion,
to see other people come to know Jesus.

I don't think I got the answer
of whether this church or service

necessarily aligns with my values
of being very open and diverse

and accepting of everyone around us.

It was more about, like,
one message a day that people can follow.

I can't really relate to it,
but I can listen to the message.

And so me, personally, I'm not there.

And I wanna say, "I'm not there yet,"
but maybe I'll never be there.

But also for my marriage,

it's going to be
with the most important person in my life.

And that's what matters.

It's me and Ben looking
at each other, choosing each other.

I would definitely come again.
