[whimpering]

[panting]

- Simon, can you believe it?

- [gasps]

- I, Millie

No-Middle-Name No-Last-Name,

am going to the house

of a real live sorceress.

Thank you, magic gods!

- Okay, that was right in my--

[thunder crashes]

Ah!

[laughs]

- Millie, remember, we're not

paying a social visit.

- That's right.

We're going to get

Sir Gadabout's courage back

from an evil witch.

- [shudders]

Evil witch.

- I know, but I bet her house

is going to be so creepy

and covered in brambles

and sharp pointy spikes.

- [whimpers]

Pointy spikes.

- [whimpering]

Oh, I heard spikes too.

[thunder crashes]

- Oh, and the air around

her house will be cold.

And the path to her front door

will be littered

with the bones of her enemies.

Bones of her enemies.

Oh, the worst kind of bones.

I don't know if I like this.

- And best of all, if there

are any spell books inside,

I could finally learn to--

[all gasp]

[laughs excitedly]



[laughing]

[whimpering]

That must be it.

- Uh-huh.

If I were an evil sorceress,

that's exactly what my house

would look like.

- Oh, it's everything

I thought it would be--

and more!

[thunder crashing]

Could use more bones though.

[upbeat music]

- Lotta people tellin' me

what I should be ♪

But I wanna make

my own destiny ♪

- [growls]

- Got a feelin' ♪

That it might be time

for me ♪

- To find my own way ♪

- [grunts]

- 'Cause I can feel it

in my heart ♪

It takes a lot to be brave,

but just a little to start ♪

Let's go take

a million chances ♪

Let's go change

our circumstances ♪

I'm gonna write

my own story ♪

And the hero is me ♪

[tense music]

[tools clanking]



- [stammers]

Have you tried turning it off

and then turning it

back on again?

Of course I tried that!

That's, like, Portal 101.

Ah, yep, I see.

It's as I expected.

Your problem here is

both: Hmm?

It exploded.

[bleats angrily]

Ah!

Oh, I know it exploded.

What I need to know is

when it will be fixed.

There are children in danger.

A powerful sorceress

is after them.

Not to mention, the future of

an entire kingdom is at stake.

[bleats]

All right, buddy.

Keep your whiskers on.

- [groans]

Lenny, fruit me.

- [grunts]

- I just hope the children can

avoid Fendra until then.

Show me the kids.

[sighs]

There they are.

I guess if worse comes

to worse,

Max does have

the Ring of Return.

Ow! I'm okay.

- She could at least zap

herself here with the dagger

to keep it away from Fendra.

Eh, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Kids have their own

kind of dumb luck.

- Oh, they'll need

a lot more than luck.

The sorceress chasing them

is the same one

who destroyed this portal.

- Oh, wow, yeah.

Then they're in big trouble.

This thing's a mess.

[thunder crashing]

[whimpers]

- Okay, g*ng,

first things first,

we need to figure out

if this sorceress is home--

- [chuckling]

- Stop!

- I'm going in.

- Millie.

Get back here.

Millie.

[eerie music]

- She's gonna knock, isn't she?

- Yep.

- Oh, I can't look.

- [whimpers]

[humming]



[all whimpering]

[grunts]

[knock on door]

Hey, guys!

She's not home.

[all sigh]

Okay, the witch isn't home,

but how do we get inside?

[door creaks]

Hey, guys, the door's open!

- Huh, that was easy.

- [gasps]

- But what kind of

all-powerful sorceress

doesn't even lock her door?

[laughing excitedly]

[whimpering]

- Uncle Budrick, how about

you keep Sir Gadabout company?

We'll go in and look

for his courage.

Yes, yes.

Good. Will do.

[whimpering]



[humming]

[gasping]

Wow.

[squeals, giggles]

Whoa.

We're in the lair

of a real live sorceress!

[laughing]

[gasps]

Look, a bubbling cauldron.

- Millie, please

don't touch that.

[humming]

Ooh, an eternal flame.

[insects chittering]

[gasps]

Witch grapes!

Millie, no!

[laughs] Mmm!

Man, these are disgusting.

Ooh, you guys gotta try one.

- Uh-uh.

- No way.

Blech. Ew.

[gasps, squeals]

This is amazing!

[laughing excitedly]

- Any ideas where

an evil witch might keep

a knight's stolen courage?

- Sadly, I have yet

to read any books

on evil witches'

home organization practices.

Right.

Rifling through drawers

it is then.

Wow.

- Millie.

- Huh?

[gasps]

- Let's look in here.

- Millie.

- You guys hear that?

- Millie.

- Millie.

- Uh-uh.

- Nope.

- No.

[eerie music]

[whispers] Hello?

Are you a ghost?

If you're a ghost,

you have to tell me.

Pretty sure there's

a law about that.

[squeals]

Spell books.

- Millie.

Millie.

Someone's tooth. Great.

- [gasps] I recognize

that enormous incisor.

Graugnar the Troll mentioned

a witch stole his tooth.

Evidently, he wasn't telling

a tall tale after all.

Perhaps I should

return it to him.

- So this lady just goes around

taking people's stuff?

What does she do

with all of it?

My guess is nothing good.

[dramatic musical sting]



[thunder crashes]

- What do you think

they're finding in there?

- Could be all manner

of terrifying things.

Evil potions,

animal parts, spiders.

So many spiders.

[honks, gasps]

Oh. Thanks.

Scalp rubs do calm my nerves.

Scalp rubs?

[screams]

- [honking and screaming]

- [panting and screaming]

[grunting and stammering]

[bleats]

- Gah!

- [bleats]

Dagnabbit, Pete.

All I managed to get through

was a hand.

That's not going to cut it.

- All right, all right,

don't blow a vein.

- I'm working on it.

- [growls]

Um

have you tried turning it off

and then turning it

back on again?

- Pete, ask me that

one more time

and I will turn you

into a toad!

- [door opens]

- [honking]

I talked him into coming inside

and that's the entire story.

There's nothing else to it

and you're welcome.

- Right.

- [shuddering]

Just be careful

and definitely

don't touch anything.

- Open me.

[gasps]

- [sinisterly] Open me.

[gasps]

- Open me. Open me.

[indistinct

disembodied chatter]

[gasping excitedly]

- [gasps]

I say, here's an idea.

We'll go through

each drawer again,

paying close attention

to the fiendish methods a witch

might use to obfuscate the true

nature of the substance--

- I found it.

Sir Gadabout, look.

We found your courage.

My courage. Oh.

[grunts]

[triumphant music]

[yelps]

- Ah-ah. Not so fast.

[all exclaim]

Oh, too bad I came home

just as Sir Knockabout

was about

to drink his courage down.

What bad luck.

- Max, I do believe

that is Fendra.

Wait, Fendra Fendra?

As in the witch who's

working with Gastley?

- [whimpering]

- That's me.

Now, one of you has magic.

I can smell it.

[sniffs]

So which of you is

the witch or warlock?

- Ah-ah-ah-ah.

- That doesn't belong to you.

Give it back.

- Nonsense. It belongs to me

because I took it.

And speaking

of taking things

Hey!

[suspenseful music]

- Hmm.

[both gasp]

[laughs menacingly]

Finally, King Conrad

will be mine!

- No, he won't!

- Millie.

- Ah.

So the little trickle of magic

I've been sensing

comes from you.

- [gasps]

- Come on then, girlie.

Let's see what you've got.

- I've got this!

[grunts]

[laughs]

You're no sorceress.

Perhaps I should show you

how it's done.

- Millie!

- [laughs mockingly]

[all gasp]

Millie, are you okay?

Sir Gadabout wasn't kidding.

You really are a monster.

- A monster, am I?

Well, brat,

if it's a monster you want,

it's a monster you'll get!

[screams]



[roars, snarls]

- Oh, you just had

to call her names.

- This is going to make for

an ever-so-exciting chapter

[giggles]

- If we survive.

- [snarls]

That's a big if.

- It's not over yet.

[grunting]

[roaring]

[epic rock music]

[honks]

[snarling]



Ah!

[straining]

Quick, somebody grab

the courage!

Go!

[furniture crashing]

[both panting]



Uncle Budrick,

get Sir Gadabout out.

[straining]

Straight ahead, Sir Gadabout!

[roars]

[whimpering]



[roars]

[suspenseful music]

[all panting]



[roaring fiercely]

- Quick, Kevyn,

give him his courage.

Oh, no!

Simon, catch!

[screams]

[screaming]

Got it.

[snarls]

[honking and grunting]

[honks]

- Quick!

- Huh?

[honking]

[roaring]

- [screaming]

- [honking]

[whimpers]



[epic rock music]



Ha ha!

[grunts]

Thank you, Max.

It worked!

Stand down, sorceress.

Or prepare to do battle.

[roars]

[growling and snarling]

He's awesome.

[grunting]

[roars]

- Roar all you like.

It matters not.

- So the brave Sir Gadabout

returns, does he?

- I leave it to others

to judge my courage.

But I promise you this, madam,

you do not frighten me.

Aw, a pity.

Your fearful cries used

to lull me to sleep.

Those days are over.

[grunting]

[laughs]

You got this, Sir Gadabout!

- Ah!

- You look fatigued, madam.

Care to surrender?

- Just getting started,

Sir Whineabout.



- Uh--[gasps]

[honks]

- Oh-hoh-hoh, yeah!

No!

- Ah!

[grunts]

Oof!

[tense music]

[laughs]

Well played, Sir Knight.

[panting]

You've bested me.

- No. 'Twas your own dark magic

that did you in.

Remember that.



[gasps]

Indeed.

Dark magic can be very

unpredictable!

- No!

- [groaning]

[dramatic music]

[gasps]



[laughing]

See what I mean?

[cackling]

Okay, try now.

[cackling]

Mumblin!

Fendra!

- Blah!

- Ah!

Agh!

[yelps]

- Guys, that--

It was Mumblin.

- Correction.

That was Mumblin's head.

But where's the rest of him?

- Some place--

[dramatic music]

[gasps]

Else.

- Max!

Kids!

Run!

Run!

- You heard the disembodied

head, let's skedaddle!

Not yet.

We're not leaving

Sir Gadabout like this.

Max!

- And you all think

I'm the crazy one?

Okay.

- Why are you always

getting in my way?

[groans]

[all panting]



Don't worry, Sir Gadabout.

I'm getting you out of here.



Max!

Where did he-- no!

Enough of this foolishness.



Hah!

Ooh.

Ah-ah-ah!

[blowing]

- Oh, that's it.

I quit.



- [gasps]

- Eugh.

Whoa.

- Huh?

- [bleats]

Oh my, it's Sir Gadabout.

Who?

Hm.

[gasps]

He's alive.

[bleats]

[growls]

[screams]



[all exclaiming]

Huh?

[grunting]

Guess she does lock her door.

This one.



How do we get out?

It's everywhere!

[grunting]

- Ugh!

We're sitting ducks out here.

Er, gooses.

Geese.

Yeah, sitting geeses.

Wait.

There's writing at the top.

Can anyone read it?



[gasps]

Where is Gadabout?



- Somewhere you

can't touch him.

Agh!

Well, he may have

escaped, but you won't.

Let us go.

Or else.

- [laughs]

Or else what, hm?

You're trying my patience,

little girl.

Shut your mouth and watch

what a real sorceress can do.



[all gasping]

[laughs]



- All your thoughts

fly from your head.

- How do you--

- Fall down now

as like the dead!



[screams]



- Ah!

[growls]

Millie, you did it.

That was incredible.

- Took the words

right out of my beak.

- - Millie.

- Ah!

- [gasps]

- Millie, are you okay?

- Okay, just--

[sighs]

Tired.

So tired.

You saved us, Millie.

She had us for sure that time.

- It's about time

I did something useful

with this magic again, right?

- Um, still have a little

problem with the whole getting

out of the forest thing.

- Say the words.

Say the words.

Yes, yes.

I understand.

Understand what?

Yes, I can do that.

- Millie, who are

you talking to?

[chanting]

- Is she reciting some

kind of incantation?

- Whatever she's doing,

it's working.

Look.

It's opening.

- Hurry, before

it closes again.



[groans]

Ugh.

Where-- how did they--

[chanting]

[screams]
