The influencers got the chance to work with Snickers

in a rookie mistakes challenge, as the team of Julia and Zack

each got to take home the $1,000 prize.

The contestants continued to do everything

they could to avoid the elimination lounge,

but it was Olivia who had the least amount

of votes and is eliminated from the competition for now.

This week, the influencers get the chance

to work with Extra gum

in a "chew it before you do it" team challenge.

And with five competitors left, this week's showcase post

will be crucial if they wanna make it to the top four.

I mean, my goal with everything that I do is

to completely entertain you.

See, I'm the opposite. I'm feeling...

not confident this week

'cause I've been in the bottom, it feels like the whole time,

so I feel like I'm hanging on by a thread.

It's week five, and I was in the bottom last week,

and I'm gonna make sure that I'm not in the bottom again.

I think I'm getting more proud of myself as I move on

that I am able to come up with cool concepts,

that I can switch up my angles and my editing.

So I'm feeling really good going into this challenge

because I have a couple of challenge wins under my belt,

and I'm feeling the momentum.

Now, Obé, Zack, and Olivia,

you've all been eliminated at this point,

but remember, you're still eligible

Now, as social media influencers who are building your brands,

there are moments in your journey

that make you take a beat

to deal with various sticky situations.

Today, you will be working with Extra gum.

Who encourages everyone to "chew it before you do it,"

when facing one of those sticky situations

that could go either way.

This challenge, we've come up with fun, sticky moments

to see how you all deal with these situations,

which could be the difference in this week's winning post.

Now, to help guide you through these sticky situations

is actress and model Charlotte McKinney.

As always, Charlotte will be judging your performance

at the end of the challenge.

So I'm excited to be here with you,

and we definitely have some sticky situations.

We're gonna divide you guys into four teams of two.

Outside, we have four stations set up

with some very sticky situations.

So each team will be assigned one station.

So your winning challenge post

will be with how you deal with that sticky situation.

We've randomly preselected the pairs and the stations

that you're assigned to.

First up, we have Jacy and Obé as a pair.

Ooh.

And you two will be doing the ice bath station.

Next up, we have Eric and Julia.

You two have the balance beam tray station.

We're good. We're good.

Next up, we have Zack and Olivia.

You two have the ball toss challenge.

- Okay. - Okay.

And that leaves Joe and Angelina as the last pair.

So here's what I'm gonna be looking for

in your challenge posts.

First, you have to show

your "chew it before you do it" moment.

Cannot be more than 30 seconds,

so you have one hour to brainstorm

and finish this whole challenge.

for me to see her kind of thought process.

Okay, let's just get some B-Roll before we do anything.

- Yeah. - Yeah, so this week,

I'm partnered with Angelina,

and I'm just absolutely swimming.

She's so funny, like I said before.

Even if we lose, I don't care,

'cause we're gonna have a good time,

and we're gonna laugh.

Oh. This man.

Ball in a hole. What am I gonna do with a ball in a hole?

Olivia and I immediately are like,

"We have to have cool shots."

We put this in there to get that cool point of view.

I agree.

And really funny jokes to make this thing

work even remotely close.

Just, we're... We're both very expressive

- with our facial expressions. - I'm not sure

- that would be the best. - Yeah, let's--let's...

Look how cool that looks.

Yes!

We have to do an ice bath. It's winter.

We're both in workout clothes. You look great.

Maybe the idea is that you're the personal trainer.

You just personal trained me. I'm like, "Cool, great workout."

And you're like, "Oh, we're not done. Last step."

And the obvious comes to mind. I'm Jacy's personal trainer.

I'm gonna show her kind of like the ice bath

as the last part of the workout.

Yeah. Your internal monolog

will be, "Oh, this feels so nice."

Like, "I'm so relaxed and my muscles feel great."

And then my internal monolog is just ,

- like screaming. - Right.

I like it. So let's go get changed.

- We can be matching, since... - Yeah.

From the Bahamas,

coming out of the red corner, Julia.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Julia is dope.

She's super cool to hang out with.

Um, I think we vibe super well.

I come up with the idea that,

"Hey, Eric, you should fail and let's make it funny."

I think Eric is going to get to the middle of the beam

and then fall, but, shh, don't tell him.

Yeah. So Julia is hiding the gum from me.

I'm about to walk across the balance beam,

and a huge gust of wind must have come,

and I completely wipe out.

Eric takes the fall for us, literally.

I don't know how he does those kinds of stunts.

We got it. We got everything...

We got everything that we needed.

It's making the content very entertaining. But I'm good.

I'm good. We are still here today and we're moving on.

My pants are soaked.

If we lose, I'm blaming it on the fall, by the way.

It wasn't good enough.

- - Ooh.

- Seriously, seriously? - No, of course not. Go, go.

I'm so nervous. I don't know

what's gonna be sticky in there.

If it's honey, I don't mind it. Mm, that'll be so sweet,

So this challenge is a challenge because,

honestly, we don't know what's in the box,

and we have to film ourselves before we know what's in it,

and kind of show, like, our process of doing it.

Here we are today, guys. Dude.

And we're gonna put our hands

in some disgusting little boxes.

What's that? What's that?

Okay. It's only one bowl. It's one bowl.

- Okay, we got one key. - One bowl.

- I got a lock. - I got the both keys already.

No, you're supposed to keep it in there.

You're supposed to unlock your keys.

- No, you have the keys. - Oh, I have it?

When I have to reach through one inch of fresh,

ripe tomatoes to grab two keys that are obviously at the bottom

of the bowl, and Angelina finds the locks immediately.

To make a video out of this... is gonna be a challenge.

Why? Why must it be so anonymous?

Okay.

Ah. Thanks for the workout, Obé.

Uh-uh-uh. You forgot we got one more thing to do.

The ice.

- That was hard. - I wasn't expecting that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Our concept for this challenge is where we just got done

personal training, and now we're about to take

an ice bath, and I am not happy about it.

All right.

All right. And we're rolling.

Ah...

Whoo!

Let's go! Get a robe. Here, here, here.

So, our idea is that we just have to get

into the ice bath once, film our reactions.

We have to submerse ourselves for ten seconds,

and that's all I'm going in for.

- I'm cold right now! - I got you, I got you, girl.

Here we go. Here we go.

You good.

Here we go. Come on.

Come on. Come on.

- And get out. -

I get out of the ice bath, shivering, putting on my robe.

We check the footage, and he missed.

I don't know what happened. I don't know if he didn't

press record. He missed me going

into the ice bath, and I had to go in again.

That is a punishment. That was targeting.

That was Obé. Obé did that.

Hey, Olivia, I have a challenge for you.

- Yeah? - Let's make ten ba*ls

into this hole in 30 seconds.

Do you think you're ready for that?

- I'll beat you. - You got this?

- Yeah. - Okay, let's go.

- You're very close. - Hut! Whoo!

So we decide we're gonna get all the footage

and all the angles,

and we'll make up the story as we go.

- We're good? - I think we've got

- everything we need. - Good. We got a lot of footage.

- We gotta--need to edit now. - Okay, let's go.

Listen, you've won a few of these challenges, so bring

some of that experience to this one, please.

Julia is definitely doing more of the editing right now,

and she has that exact vision that she wants to make it.

You know, I'm trying to incorporate

that storyline and keeping the time frame

sort of as short and sweet as possible.

Okay, it's exactly 30 seconds,

but we can make some adjustments.

- Yeah. - We found the keys!

That was good, the box...

The more we think about this and how we laugh

at how simple the style set is, we just wanna go sarcastic,

and we wanna be light and funny,

and we're just gonna kind of mock the challenge.

It does, and you would actually like this one.

- If yous came across this-- - Yes, if I saw it, I would...

- I would... - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

When you have these constraints and you can see

what the walls are, I mean, it's fun to see yourself

go up to the edge of it, and what you can do with it.

All right. All right.

Ah... I love it. I love it.

All right, so start looking for...

- Music, yep. - Um, like your classical music.

- Yep. I'm already on it. - I'm gonna split this.

I think we filmed in such a smart way

because it was chronological, that we're able to just

import our clips and immediately start editing.

I let Jacy take the reins on the editing

just because she's so much faster than I am.

We start making transitions.

We start cutting out the music

to give a little bit more of a comedic effect.

We even add a title card.

Ah. It's me. Slice. I could do this all day long.

You over here going...

- Yeah, you a genius. - Yeah!

We sit down and we're starting to edit,

cutting clips and inserting them.

Keep that part like, like, "How you feel?" "I hate you."

Zooming in. Zooming out.

Scaling it so it's already zoomed in.

And Zack comes up with this idea.

We just do you against the wall, being like, "I did not."

Yes, yes! Sorry. Yeah. So it's so good.

To kind of have a confessional, like we...

Like what people do on reality TV.

This is a lot harder than it looks.

- I did not win. - We didn't have much

to work with. We were throwing a ball in a hole.

Like, there's not much we can do with that,

and--and we slapped it in there,

and it ended up being really funny.

I'm really proud of it,

and I think we got a good chance.

like people, when you see a wipeout

For someone who works with a lot of brand advertising,

This was a lot harder than I thought it'd be.

it's time to make their showcase post.

Each of our influencers will be creating

an original video in their area of expertise.

They'll just need to make sure that they can

Ugh, it's week five, and I was in the bottom

last week, and I'm gonna make sure

that I'm not in the bottom again.

Coming into this week, and after doing

a very emotional and vulnerable post,

I am feeling a lot more content in my place in the competition.

So what I did was... I wanted to focus on, like...

that I like to interview people and that I want, like,

my own talk show or be a correspondent one day,

but it's hard to do in 30 seconds.

So I took a humorous take on it,

and so it's called, like, "My 30 Second Interview."

So I'm feeling comfortable in my concepts,

my ideas, my editing, but I'm just worried

about getting those votes for this elimination challenge.

All right, so now I'm gonna lift my foot up.

I'm gonna freak out, like I'm lifting... You ready?

I mean, my goal with everything that I do is to completely

entertain you, um from, like, the very first second

to the very last second of my video.

I like to create a lot of my posts

based off inspirations that I have,

and I wanted to create an effect of tapping

into a different reality.

I'm a big fan of, like, Sci-Fi

and a lot of that type of stuff that really makes you think

the whole time when you're watching it.

What is my purpose in this?

Remember, you're coming in, you're playing a different role,

and afterwards, there's gonna be a little something at the end

where it'll make more sense.

I was thinking of, you know, taking everybody

that is watching my video on a journey with me

and trying to figure out how to escape

this so-called portal that I am in.

That looks dope.

The pressure is on, guys. You already know.

I'm hoping to use every single feedback,

every single tidbit of knowledge

that I have gained thus far in the process.

I think it's really making me a strong competitor.

I'm just like, time is really tight and I didn't have footage

at home because I really wanted the green screen

and, like, a couple of the locations here.

So I'm, like, struggling for time.

So think I'm gonna do it just one more time.

At the max, two times, and I'm just gonna edit,

and I'm not gonna stress, like, how it's gonna come out.

I think that's great.

I'm doing a "get ready with me,"

um, so just a bunch of transitions,

is getting out of your comfort zone,

so I'm sharing things that, like,

a lot of people don't know.

Maybe that added to the stress of me editing.

I realized this is gonna take the whole

Swiss army knife of tools of somebody

who's trying to be one of these influencers.

I have never felt more confident in a video

I have put out than this one.

So, going into my showcase post, I was very inspired

by the idea of going out of your comfort zone,

so I wanted to incorporate a little bit more editing

than I'm used to and really try to practice that

and hone in on that.

So I was inspired by having to dunk in an ice bath

and hopefully get out of a sticky situation

in terms of this showcase post.

This is where you guys took anything you learned

this week, or not, and made an original piece of content

that has been shared with the Versus Game universe.

So how was that experience?

It was really exciting because she's an actress,

and I felt like we made a little minimovie,

so it was nice to be recognized for that.

But it was also so great working with Obé.

We are now three time challenge winners,

so I'm hoping to stay on top of the challenge game.

Do you think that you've put that winning streak

into your showcase post?

I sure hope so. I think this is

my favorite video that I've ever done.

It kind of incorporates a lot of things that I like

within my content, including my family,

interviewing people, and doing, like, a little mini talk show.

So I really like how it turned out.

How is the weather down there?

And the weather up there is fine.

Wait. I feel like it just had everything in it.

Like it had everything that you've been showing us

the entire competition, as well as, like,

a personal aspect with your dad.

Like I feel like stuff like that is always so fun

when you incorporate people that are very important

in your life and also when it's so funny and it looks

like your relationship is so naturally funny as well.

It was, like, short, to the point.

I laughed multiple times throughout,

and I feel like I also got closer to you.

So amazing job.

And it was fun to include my dad.

He's a character in all my other social media,

so I liked having him on this one.

So proud of you.

So did you make any format changes to your post this week?

Yes. I really... I don't know if anybody noticed.

I try to keep my post within the theme of the week,

so I really wanted to go outside my comfort zone,

try something new, show a creative concept.

I want to see what I accomplished,

'cause I'm just not sure how I feel about it.

But I am proud that I tried something

brand new and something... a cool concept.

I tried. I tried.

First off, I'm amazed.

I don't even know how you did the editing in that.

I'm sure that took you some time.

Also, I feel like it was a bit of a departure

from what you have shown us,

and I think that's so important

in being a creator in anything

is when you're able to evolve and try new things

to also prevent yourself from feeling stagnant.

Thank you so, so, so much.

I really feel proud of it.

I think my biggest thing was time,

that I feel like the timing wasn't quite right

with what I was trying to capture.

But I'm so excited about the idea.

I can't wait to try it again and explore it more and more.

So what was your takeaway when you got to work

with Charlotte McKinney and the Extra brand this week?

I learned a lot.

I learned that Eric makes a really good teammate,

and he really did take the fall for our team.

Well, I heard you had to kind of rush

last minute with your showcase post.

Do you feel like that will have an effect on you tonight?

There was definitely some unplanned

vulnerability in this post, but it's all about

stepping out of your comfort zone,

so I'm glad I was able to brush this out,

and put it into the Versus Game community.

I thought this was great. I thought it was simple,

to the point, and also very relatable,

and I feel like those things never get old

when it comes to scrolling online.

We all love to see things

that we can see ourselves within.

I'm very proud of this. I think it really shows

that I can think on my feet.
