so it's the only thing that makes sense.

is just one government official,

but she does have one unique privilege.

She has access to the Insight,

an amalgamation of every data point

in Tokyo.

[Ieuji] The Insight.

In this city, it's as good as omniscient.

She's able to see everything we do?

Not quite. It's not humanly possible

to observe everything at once.

The Insight's data stream is so vast

that no one can access

more than a fraction of it.

Most of its functions work

with zero human intervention.

There's just one exception.

One point which happens

to be managed by Ieuji herself.

The Wall.

That's right.

By keeping tabs on traffic

that passes through the digital Walls,

she can obtain movement information

at a human level.

As long as we're within the system's web,

she'll use that to track us.

How is that possible?

There are certain places in Tokyo

that have weak scan coverage.

I suspect they're threading

their way through them.

Well, that's inconvenient.

What assistance do you need?

of the scan will be ensured.

With that, we can pinpoint

all the times he crossed the Wall.

[Hugo sighs] Once that's done

We should be able to uncover traces

of the data that Ieuji wiped out.

If we submit our evidence

through the system,

she may well intercept it.
