to celebrate the day I was discovered.

I feel like there's been a decline.

Quite the expensive exercise,
living on an island.

I might be interested in
making an offer on the house.

but I thought repositioning
Alice as a woman

who speaks about
her perspective and her...

[Rose] I'm going to have my shower.

that Alice Munro was the victim
of an historical 'Me Too' case.

[Veronika] What? I wanted to
reveal this in my podcast.

[Sophie] The anniversary party
is a few weeks away,

and you, you've barely sold any tickets.

An origin story that's not that simple.

My guest is Enigma Munro,

but we all know her as 'Baby Munro'.

Welcome to the show, Enigma.
Before we get into your story,

I hear that you've just
become a grandma.

safer off the island.

[Ron's voice echoing] Ah Rose,

[woman] Jillian. Hey Rose.

[Jillian] No, I'm from ACAT.

[Connie] She's a cat!

[Jillian] Aged Care Assessment Team.

I thought we could have
a conversation today

about whether you've been
getting enough support lately.

want you to be her carer.

including this one of Alice.

[Margie] But Billy's photos
don't have it.

Just look at this.

I mean, we know that this photo of Alice

was taken before she
was visibly pregnant,

but Billy had never even come
to the island at that point.

I mean, she, she'd already had
the baby and then disappeared

before he ever got here.

So the photo was taken
with the same camera

that took the family photos.

[Veronika] Exactly. It's a clue,

but I'm not exactly sure
what it gives us, yet.

[Margie] Are you okay, darling?

that you can have the house back,

as soon as I find
somewhere else to live.

I don't know yet.

I guess when Ron offered

[monitor beeping]

[baby crying]

I was just trying everyone, Margie,

and he can meet us at the hospital.

to keep him overnight
