golf for the Paris Olympics.

Scottie Scheffler, he's number
one in qualifying right now.

Now the reigning U.S.
Open champ, Wyndham Clark,

he's also right in the
mix to make the US Team.

Plenty of golf…

Growing up in a household
that loves sports,

the Olympics was a big part
of our life when it was on.

Winter or summer,
we were watching.

As a little kid, you watch the
biggest athletes in the world,

Jordan and Kobe, and,
you know, these guys,

you know, being on some
of those dream teams,

you see them represent the flag.

And, you know, they're going
over there essentially for free,

but they want to do it to
represent their country.

It makes you, as a young kid, go, you
know, "I want to be there someday."

- [man] Nice. And, uh, hand in pocket.
- [camera beeping]

Both arms crossed. Nice.

Your arms are
crossed for us. Nice.

[Rapaport] The Olympics is
gaining more importance in golf.

This year, all the guys who are in the
mix have said they want to go play.

There's no way around making this
team other than really good golf.

[Dethier] And Wyndham
Clark is right on the cusp.

[commentator] The champion of
the U.S. Open, Wyndham Clark.

[Dethier] But the US Team has a lot of
top players and a ton of competition.

The only country that's nearly
as competitive is Australia.

The Olympics, it is a pinnacle for a
lot of athletes back home in Australia.

[Rapaport] They've had great
champions in their history.

Guys like Adam
Scott and Jason Day.

Min Woo Lee is the 25-year-old who's
expected to take that leap this year.

[commentator] Leading

you not entertained?

[Rapaport] Min Woo's a really exciting
prospect. He's got a lot of aura.

He's got a massive
following on social media.

[Min Woo] There's a lot of
pressures on playing well

from talking more than
normal on social media.

his sister, Minjee Lee,

is an incredible superstar
out on the LPGA Tour.

But how special would it
be to play in an Olympics

representing your country
alongside your sister?

[Rapaport] No one's guaranteed
anything. You gotta earn your way.

I'm hoping I can go and represent
my country on that podium.

Representing Australia
would be incredible.

Probably the biggest
achievement in my life.

has been very crazy and surreal-feeling.

Uh, I think if I was kind of
boring, I wouldn't be here.

in the history of golf who you like?

Tiger back in the days.

You know, he had the
long… the long shirts,

and he looked kind of… he
looked kind of swaggy back then.

So I try to make myself
look as stylish as possible,

and I just think if you look in the mirror
and feel good, hopefully you play well.

That little chain, it's
like Tiger used to wear.

[Stephen] I met
your sister first,

and she said you're really
good at social media stuff.

- Oh, yeah.
- Really good at that.

Well, yeah, we're like…
we're completely opposites.

Like, I got social media. She
doesn't have social media.

I mean, she could be a lot more social
on a social media account, for sure.

'Cause she posts like once… She
posts like ten times a year. Like…

I post like ten times a month.

- I post ten times a day.
- I post too much. Yeah.

I have just cracked 600,000
followers on Instagram.

I try to be as real and
honest on social media.

I guess people like that.

I like to make people
laugh and have fun

and know I make a lot of people
happy and a lot of people motivated.

[chanting] Let him

[Min Woo] It was just
like a meme on Instagram,

and someone commented,
"Just let him cook."

So then I put it in a caption, and
now everyone just started saying it.

- And it's just popped off.
- [man] Let that man cook!

Do you actually cook? I'm like,
"No, I'm not a great chef."

[commentator] He's cooking. And he's
got the thunderclap going as well.

[Balionis] I think Min
Woo Lee is every Gen Zer,

so he is so much more relatable
than maybe what most people think of

when they think of a
professional golfer,

conservative,
quiet, introverted.

Min Woo Lee is not that guy,

and fans have absolutely
fallen in love with this kid.

And everyone's just kind of
waiting for him to break through

so that he can be taken
to even a higher level.

[Min Woo] It's amazing to have people
support at places that I don't expect.

[Min Woo] It's a big
part of why I play,

and every time I post a video
just before a tournament,

I'm like, "sh*t, I
gotta play good."

I had a couple weeks off,

and, uh, it was a bit too far

to go back to Australia,
so come over here to Vegas.

And my sister's in town, and
I can go and support her.

A bit of a crowd.

- To see her play good golf is cool.
- [Gracie] Yeah.

[Min Woo] She doesn't show emotion.
She just gets on with her work.

She doesn't really mess around too
much, unlike me. I'm the opposite.

I want the whole world to
know what I'm doing, so…

Something to learn off her too.

Even though Min Woo Lee is this
good golfer in his own right,

his older sister, Minjee,
she has that on lock.

Two-time Major winner.

She has accomplished
more than he has to date,

and I think he's got some
little-brother syndrome about that.

My sister's pretty good at golf,
and she wins LPGA tournaments a lot.

I think my success was pressure,

but also like motivation

because he didn't really want
to be in my shadow, I think.

[Wilson] Unlike Min Woo, Minjee
is a lock for the Australian team.

They could be the first sibling pair to
ever compete in the Olympics in golf.

But only if Min Woo
has an amazing season.

[Min Woo] You want
this moved, Min?

When I was ten to fifteen,

I was just a younger brother,
and she was the older sister.

I'd annoy the crap out of her,

and she would never really
want me close during practice.

[Minjee] We were always around
golf, and my parents all played.

Mom used to coach, and my
dad was a single handicapper.

So they both had really
hard work ethics.

Min Woo was quitting
golf every couple months,

and my personality is much
different from Min Woo.

So Min Woo was always
kind of like the jokester.

And he'd like to muck around.

[Min Woo] Nice. Keep
going. Wear the gloves.

- [man] You see that one?
- [Min Woo] No.

"Lee is a head case. Lots of
talent, but his focus is lacking."

"Who cares? He's a TikTok golfer.
Average on tour, at best."

- [Gracie] What did they say?
- [Min Woo] Who knows? It's sh*t.

[Min Woo] People are gonna just
say I'm a social media guy.

Yeah, it kind of makes me mad.

[Gracie] Who cares? Am I right?

[Min Woo] Min cares.

You can get dragged into it, and
it can hurt your feelings, I guess.

But I try to not let
that affect me as much.

[Gracie] People are
gonna say what they want,

but it becomes less of an
insecurity when you talk about it.

[Gracie] And I'm sure there is
a bit of added pressure to it,

but I wouldn't say pressure
is a bad thing either.

It helps you to perform.

The best thing you can do
is just be there for them,

and if there's something
wrong, you will figure it out.

Minjee has accomplished so much,

and Min really looks up to
her for that success as well.

[Min Woo] I think that's good to
try to live up to her standards,

but I'm not quite there yet.

So hopefully in
the future, I can.

forward to that moment.

What's changed in your
life since season two?

Um…

Let's see. I, uh… People
know who I am a lot more.

I've never really been part of reality TV,
and now it's becoming a reality for me.

But, you know, the show's done so much
good for getting my story out there.

Honestly, it's amazing the amount
of love that I've gotten from that.

Oh boy.

- [John] God, that's a bummer.
- God dang it.

[John] When he first came to college,
he was this so-called hotshot kid

who, um, lost his mom
and kind of lost his way.

You know, he was supposed
to be the next big thing,

and this talent was wasted
because of his attitude,

how he handled certain things.

He expected to be what he is today,
one of the best players in the world.

I mean, the greatest
compliment in golf right now

is being compared to
Scottie Scheffler.

You just gotta tip your
cap, and it makes me better,

makes me have to play better,
makes me more motivated.

Now we just gotta clip him.

Yeah, I can't wait till we finish
first, and he finishes second.

- I can't wait to say, "How does it feel?"

came out of nowhere.

It was like the guy hadn't won
a tournament in five years,

and then he's one of the best players
in the world, wins a Major championship.

It was the five years before.

And this is kind of
the guy who he is now.

He's made changes in his life where he
feels like he can sustain this level.

When you are trying to
become a professional golfer,

you never think you'd be
working with a celebrity,

and someone especially
like Mark Wahlberg.

I grew up watching his movies.

Working on this brand
together, which is super cool…

[Mark] When I saw
Wyndham on the show,

I wanted to call and commend him

for the way he was really
opening up to people.

I thought he really
touched me in a way

where it's like he's gonna motivate
and inspire a lot of people

to overcome things that
have been holding them back

from achieving their
full potential.

Just to see the way
he conducted himself,

with the maturity and
the grace that he did it,

opening up with the
struggles that he's had,

I thought that is the kind of thing
that moves the needle for other people.

Where are they
playing, uh, in Paris?

Uh, Le National,
where they played the…

Club du golf. Club du golf.

Yeah, it'd be fun.

[Mark] To see him skyrocketing
as a star and as a man,

it was, uh… it was
very impressive.

Gold medal. He
gets a gold medal.

living the life right now.

He's signed to a
major clothing label.

He's hanging out
with celebrities.

But golf is a fickle game,

and if you take your eye off the ball,
your game can disappear like that.

Olympic team is incredibly difficult,

but one of the ways I think these
players can prove to themselves

that they're ready is by
performing really well

on some of the biggest stages
like THE PLAYERS Championship.

[Min Woo] I was eating
breakfast with Rory,

and he was saying that he
hit ba*ls for five hours.

He said three hours in right to
left and two hours in left to right.

[Rapaport] You get into the Olympics
through the world ranking system.

So there'll be four
Americans there

and then two players from all the other
countries that typically produce golfers.

Right now, some teams
are already locked,

like Ireland with Rory
McIlroy and Shane Lowry.

But for the Americans, you
have Scottie Scheffler,

Xander Schauffele, Collin
Morikawa, and Wyndham Clark

fighting with Bryson DeChambeau and
Patrick Cantlay, amongst others.

For the Australians,
Jason Day is a lock,

so Min Woo is battling with
Cam Davis and Cam Smith

for the last spot on the team.

The way the points are set up, if
someone can get a good result here,

it will sh**t them up the rankings and
put them in pole position for Paris.

- [Min Woo] That's the hat I used to wear.
- Imperial?

- Yeah, I think so. Yeah, but like the…

- It adds an extra inch on me.

I'm hiding some height

me under his wing, actually.

When I was 16 or 17, I had a
tournament at a junior invitational,

and, uh, he was a guest speaker.

We ended up having
a long drive comp,

and all the juniors next to me were
like, "Oh, Min Woo, you should do it."

'Cause I was one of the longest out
there. And he hit first, and he hit it…

I don't know, maybe
like 280, 290 yards.

And then I stepped up with
his driver and, uh, smoked it.

[crowd] Ooh!

[Min Woo] As soon as I hit it,
all the boys were like, "Oh!"

Like they knew it was past his.

He's a little string bean
there, but look at the power.

If I did that now, I'd
break my back in half.

But for him to be able to do
that, it was just unbelievable.

[Jason] I think
that's by me, eh?

[overlapping chatter]

- [Jason] Yeah, that's crushed me.

He's a little c*ck

He was walking off like high-fiving
someone, it looked like.

But I felt that golf was moving too fast

I want to be like him, so I
still have some similarities

that I've copied
and followed him.

I see a lot of myself in him,
and I think he sees him in me.

"You've got all the key attributes

to become number one."

"You just gotta make a lifestyle change
and, like, say this is… this is golf,

and this is serious, and this is
what you're trying to accomplish

'cause you definitely
have the X-factor stuff

that you need to be the best.

and so there's more pressure on him

You're flying everywhere and you're
discovering new places and new cities,

but I'm still living
out of a suitcase.

a pretty big attraction.

But I got friends both places, so
it might be a last-minute decision.

that live in Florida though.

I mean, lot of players
are over there. Tiger, JT.

But, um, speaking of JT, he's

So I remember Wyndham when he was

Most people don't know this.
We're both from Colorado.

We grew up playing junior golf
together, and now we're here.

How do you prepare yourself
for going into an event

where you know you're feeling a
little bit more anxious than normal?

Um, well, the biggest thing is
I always go back to process.

The actual doing of it
rather than the outcome.

You know, for me, lately, I have gotten
a little too much into outcome focus.

Recently, we've switched it back to the
process, and I started playing good.

And so all I focus on is
perfecting that process

and let the outcome
take care of itself.

[Paige] He was always going
to be one of the best.

Now he has to deal with all the
pressure of people looking at him

and having to compete
week in, week out

and being one of the top guys.

Do you still get nervous
on the first tee?

I… Yeah, I mean, I do.

I have those first tee jitters.

You kind of hit the first shot,
and then you get to the green and…

But the great thing is that,

as I've gotten better and
more comfortable out here,

it kind of goes away sooner.

- Yeah, so that's how you win a U.S. Open.
- [Wyndham] Yeah.

- [Paige] When you hit it like that.
- Yeah, it's kind of nice.

- [Paige laughs] You hit it where you want.
- Golf can be fun.

[Paige] Yeah, it
must be really nice.

but then they feel like they have to be

Then they start grinding when that's
not what makes them a better golfer.

balance of having that work ethic

and having that robot type,
but also having a lot of fun.

I'm probably a little bit
more too much on the fun side.

But I'm still trying to learn that, so
I need to start doing the right stuff.

I've had pressures for the
last, you know few months

having Olympics on my radar.

A lot of these other Australians
are playing great golf,

so I need to make
some points up.

doesn't win this thing.

Wyndham Clark's Olympic dreams are over.

For Min Woo Lee and Cam
Smith, they're neck and neck.

So whoever comes out ahead,
they're going to Paris.

So it's a one-round shootout to
find out who grabs that last spot

on the Australian and
the American teams.

Well, Australia's Olympic
golf team has been announced,

with Jason Day and Min Woo
Lee to represent the men

and Hannah Green and
Minjee Lee in the women.

[Min Woo] My sister's
just been waiting on me.

So the time has come, and, uh, yeah,
it's very exciting for the family.

[Min Woo] Being in the
Olympics, it's gonna be special.

Wearing the green and
gold, it's a great honor,

especially, you
know, with my sister.

I think it will be one of the best
achievements, I guess, for our family.

The Olympics, for me, is
just something bigger,

But being the first siblings in golf
to, you know, go to the Olympics,

I couldn't really believe it.

I needed to play well,
and I'm glad I did.

I'm excited to see the Eiffel
Tower and play alongside Jason.

Dreamt of being in the
Olympics when I was younger,

and show some grit
and be up there.

one of the biggest things in my career.

I always dreamed of

And so now to be part of that

is another thing that I can just
