[sighs] But I can't fly.

I wish I could for real, like Starshine.

She's the best hero ever.

She can see through walls

and run really fast

and lift up heavy things

with her super strength.

Starshine sounds like

the most amazing hero ever.

I wish my body could do

all the super stuff Starshine's can.

-But it can't.

-[Grandma] Hold on a second now, Dee.

Your body may not be able to do

what Starshine's does,

I'm really not that hungry, but all right.

Everyone has to follow

what the clock says?

If you're in Tinland,

and you're made of tin,

your body follows the clock.

[clock dings]

-[Tin man] Good night, Tinland.

-[all snoring]

[Tin people yawning]

-[Tin woman] Sleep tight.

[clock whirring, dinging]

The clock makes us walk backwards

and even dance.

[clanging] Ugh!

-[quavering] See what I mean?

I can't stop dancing.

-[grunts]

-[clock whirring, dinging]

-Magnet time already? Ow!

What's happening?

[Tin] When the clock stops on that magnet,

everyone made of tin turns magnetic.

They stick to metal,

and metal sticks to them.

[gasps, sighs]

The magnetic thing happens

once a day for a little while.

With the clock broken,

it could happen anytime.

-[clock ticking distortedly]

-[Tin grunting]

I don't want my body to be a magnet!

-Oh!

-[clanging]

But, Tin, it's the coolest ever.

You're all

magnet power!

Yeah, you're right. Thanks, Dee.

[groans] Usually,

being magnetic comes in handy.

[grunting] Ugh! Oof!

But it's a real problem

if we don't know when it's coming.

-[Tin woman] Oh!

-[Tin man] What's up with that clock?

Mr. Mayor Gadget, sir, how can we help?

We need you to figure out

what's wrong with the clock tower.

It's the only way to save Tinland.

We can do it, Mayor.

But who's causing all this mess?

[suspenseful music playing]

[Miss Ruby] Not there. Not there.

-[clanging]

-Ugh! Where is that crown?

Ooh! What's this? A crownpiece?

No. I believe that is

an important piece of the clock.

-You probably shouldn't pull that.

-[Miss Ruby grunting] Ahh! Got it!

[clock ticking distortedly]

Oh! This isn't a crownpiece. Useless.

-[dinging]

-[Tin woman] Ahh! This is awful!

Excuse you!

Um, Miss Ruby,

I think you're breaking the Tinland clock,

and now it's making

everyone in Tinland walk backwards.

Tsk. I don't care about Tinland.

I only care

about finding that crownpiece.

So come on. Help me.

Running command. Find the Oz crown.

-[magical bleeping]

-Yes! Yes!

Whoops. I forgot. I cannot do that.

But I can tell you the weather?

I don't need to know the weather!

I need to know

where this piece of the Oz Crown is.

My book says it should be hidden

somewhere in this clock.

So we are going to tear this place apart

until we find it.

[both laughing sinisterly]

And when we find the crownpiece,

it will make a lovely doorknob?

[sighs] Not even close.

If I can find

all four pieces of the crown,

they'll give me the power to rule over Oz.

And when we find the piece,

I'll be one step closer

to becoming the Wizard of Oz!

We gotta get to the top of the tower

and figure out what's wrong.

If I was Starshine, I could fly

right up to the top of the tower,

but I'm not Starshine.

I'm me, and my body can do amazing things.

If I can climb the tallest tree

at the park, I can climb this tower.

[sighs] But, Dee,

my body can't climb like yours can.

I'm not sure I can make it

all the way to the top. [gasps]

[clock dings, ticks distortedly]

Magnet time again?

Oh! I have just had it today.

Ugh! Especially not when I'm magnetic.

[TIn clangs] Whoa!

Oh no!

[Tin grunting]

Aah! Tin, your body

might not be able to climb like mine,

but it can stick to metal like a magnet.

Yeah, that's the problem.

I can't climb like this.

You don't have to climb.

You can walk sideways

all the way to the top of the tower.

-Argh! [grunting]

-[footsteps clanging]

Oh. Tin-credible!

[Tin grunting, chuckling]

Being metal is pretty cool.

-[Dee panting]

That crownpiece was supposed to be mine.

We'll bring the piece

to Miss Emerald after we fix this clock.
