01x13 - Swamp Things

[light music playing]

[yawns] Ah.

Another day in paradise.

- [record scratches]

- I'm already bored.

- Me too.

- And Rosie makes three.

What do you guys wanna do?

See a rock show?

Not the Marooned Five again.

All their stuff sounds the same.

Well, we could play

"Trash or Island Stuff" again.

[sniffs, licks]

- Trash. A lantern, to be precise.

- I do not know how you do that.

[gasps] Wait.

What if we go camping?

I love camping and making lists.

I'll make a list of camping things to do.

Camping? Whoo-hoo!

I've never been camping.

You haven't? Ah, Hamy.

Oh, you simply must.

It's a blast.

There's so much fun stuff to do.

- Like scenic hikes.

- And sleeping in tents.

- And lists.

- And my personal favorite,

telling spooky stories

around the campfire.

That all does sound fun.

Uh, question.

How will we make a campfire?

Well, an Eagle Scout is always prepared,

which means I've got that part covered,

my piggy pal.

[mysterious music playing]

Hamylton, you do know

we're only going for one night, right?

And it's going to be the best night ever.

Where's your stuff, Rosie?

All I need to bring is me,

as I will be one with nature.

[inhales] Mmm.

Well, if you need anything,

I've got you more than covered.

I brought this harmonica for mood music,

and this old ice skate

just in case we come across an ice pond.

Oh, and then there's this.

I call it Da Sloppa!

Perfect for making breakfast soups.

Is that a camping thing?

Just try to keep up

if you're bringing all that stuff.

Yeah. No worries. Right behind you.

Oof.

- [Hamylton exclaims]

- Buddy!

- This is the perfect place for camp.

- Whoa!

No, no. Mm-mm-mm. Come on, let's go.

[Mia, Rosie and Hamylton] Wow!

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Oh, I don't think so.

- [Rosie] Beautiful

- No, no. It has to be perfect.

- [all groaning]

- Let's go.

This this is our campsite!

We'll have everything we need here.

A swamp?

Is this the part where a camera crew

pops up from the mud

and says, "You've been Chirp'd"?

Beak up, Mia.

You can find beauty anywhere in nature

if you look hard enough.

- Hm? Oh, look.

- [Hamylton whimpering]

This place is making Hamy sad too.

No. It's it's heaven.

Look at all this mud.

Oh, oh, oh.

[sighs] I'll just go over my list

of things to do while camping again.

"Go canoeing."

Here? Ew. Gross.

"Hike to a waterfall."

This whole place is a water fail.

Ugh, we can't do any of this stuff

on my list because we're in a swamp!

- Buddy, seriously? Why are we here?

- Camping is about exploring new places.

This is new. New is good.

- [groans]

- [Hamylton] Uh-oh.

I think I've got a fever.

A fever for camping!

Oh, yeah. Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

- [yells]

- [all] Hamy!

[snorts] This is my swamp.

[hacks, coughs]

Sorry. Had a wee bit of mud

stuck in my throat.

- [shudders]

- Ew, ew, ew!

Whoopsies! Let me help you wipe off.

- No, thank you!

- Hey. I know what you can do, Hamy.

Uh, go find some bamboo

to help us set up our tents.

- Huh?

- Happy camper Hamylton reporting for duty.

- Hmm.

- Everything okay, Rosie?

It feels

like there's something out there.

I know what's out there.

Sweet core memories

about to be made from camping fun.

- See ya!

- Hmm

[rustling]

[whistling a tune]

[gasps, sniffing]

[grunts, sniffs]

[spits] It's one of

those chocolate truffles

that made Buddy and Rosie

zombie out over its flavor.

Nope.

We are not dealing with that out here.

[continues whistling]

[soft chittering sound]

[Rosie] You know,

Hamy's right about how great mud is.

- [flies buzzing]

- [screams]

So good for feather rejuvenation.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

My beak is so exfoliated.

[rustling]

[all whimpering]

[spits] Bam-booyah! Let's set up.

[both] Yay!

[spits] Yay.

You all take care of the tents,

and I'll get our campfire going.

[coughs]

[playing tune]

[all] Hmm?

Uh, aren't there way more of you?

"Help."

"Honey." Honey is your food?

"A beast has come here to take it all."

"Many of the fireflies

have left to find food somewhere else?"

That's sad, but we can't camp

where there's a hungry monster.

Am I right?

- [rustling]

- [Buddy gasps]

[all gasping]

- [snarling]

- [all screaming]

[suspenseful music playing]

[roaring]

[all whimpering]

- It looks like an aardvark.

- Whatever it is, it's coming this way now.

[whimpers]

[grunts]

- [harmonica playing off-key notes]

- [screeching]

Did we do it? Did we drive

that swamp thing away for good?

[all] Hm.

They're saying it feeds every few hours,

and it'll be back by dawn.

Speaking of nighttime,

probably a good idea for us to take off,

so we can get home before dark.

What? No, but what about the fireflies?

They need our help.

Buddy, how are we

going to stop that thing?

We stay, defend the swamp.

The fireflies always shined a light

when we needed it.

When we were scared, lost, alone,

a little gassy. [farts]

They've always been there.

Like you've always been there for me.

I might be different to you three,

but you made me feel at home

because friends are home.

Fireflies are our friends too.

This place is their home,

and they need us more than ever.

Ugh. You and your awesome speeches.

Fine.

[suspenseful music playing]

[creature screeches]

[rustling]

[creature growls]

It's here!

[soft chittering]

- [sniffing]

- [Hamylton grunts]

[growls]

[Hamylton and Mia grunt]

[snarling]

[birds grunting]

- [Rosie grunts]

- Hm.

Hm. You found me. But how?

Get to Da Sloppa!

[Hamylton coughs]

Sorry. Mud again.

[Mia and Rosie] Hey!

[shouting, whimpering]

[grunts]

[dramatic music playing]

[roars]

[screams]

- [growls]

- [Hamylton grunts]

[whimpering]

The truffle.

Oh, right. That.

I think this swamp-vark

was after the fireflies' honey

because it ran out of truffles,

the truffles I made a big stink

of clearing out of the jungle,

so you wouldn't go nuts for them anymore.

Am I right, fireflies?

If you can find the aardvark truffles,

it might leave the fireflies alone.

- Then that is what I shall do.

- Fun fact, fam.

Aardvark actually means earth pig.

Thank you, random trivia merit badge.

[chuckles]

Hamy and the aardvark

are more alike than we knew.

[light music playing]

- [music continues]

- [muted laughter]

[muted dialogue]

[fireflies buzzing]

- Hey, all of the fireflies came home!

- [Buddy exclaims]

- Everyone eats tonight.

- Speaking of night,

we should pack up and get moving.

Or we could stay, you know,

have the actual camping experience

we were hoping for.

Plus, do all the stuff

on my camping to-do list.

[Hamylton chuckles]

Tonight's eerie tale is entitled,

"The Swamp Pig."

[Hamylton giggling]

It was a dark and smelly night,

a night a lot like this one.

- [loud farting]

- Hm?

That one was me.

- Whoa!

- Oh! Hamylton!

- [laughing]

- Okay!

[Hamylton continues laughing]

[mysterious music playing]

[chirp]
