[Don Andres] Go down.

Down!

No, no... go up.

Hard to starboard.

[Leo] What starboard?

[Don Andres] Not your starboard.

My starboard.

Steer into the sleet.

Not that way, the other way.

[Leo] Like this?

[Don Andres] The other way!

[grunts]

This reminds me
of the great blizzard of '09.

The cold.

The snow.

You're sure about this?

Father Godofredo told us
to seek out the Brotherhood.

And the Brotherhood wasn't home.
Baba Yaga said we can end this right now.

So, do you think
maybe the murderous witch

who's been trying to k*ll us for months
might have been lying?

We don't have a choice.
Just keep looking for the Yggdrasil.

I'm fairly certain
it's pronounced "yugg-druggle."

Maybe it's "gurgle-drizzle."

[all] Whoa!

Smooth driving.

Couldn't we find a portal
in some toasty, warm place?

I'm toasty and warm.

Because you're a mythical creature
who can't feel the blowing snow?

No, because I put on my wool socks.

[Alebrije laughing
& electricity crackling]

Uh... [laughs]

Observe.

[Don Andres yells]

Hold on, everyone.

That must be the cave.

Prepare for landing.

- How was that for smooth driving, Teodora?
- Eh.

[shivering]

We're almost there.

[Alebrije] Mm!

I think this is what we've
been looking for.

Hello, handsome.

[grunting]

It's got a nice view.

According to the book,
the World Tree is beyond these caves.

[Don Andres]
Ah! As you young people say, piece of pie.

I think you mean cake.

They are both delicious.

Huh?

Um, hey, is it just me,
or are the walls moving?

[Don Andres] Huh?

Visitors.

We don't like visitors.

- And look. [sniffing]
- [whimpering]

They have a triplecorn with them.

That's bad luck.

Uh, are they talking to me?

Toss them out and let them freeze.

Ah. It's a fight you want.

[growls]

[Teodora] I got this.

[grunts]

Begone, foul creature.

Any other ideas?

[trolls growling]

We could run?

- [screams]
- [troll] Take your triplecorn with you.

[grunts]

[burbles]

Not a very nice way to treat visitors.

Nobody comes into our cave.

Well, not nobody.
If you're on the list, you can come in.

And none of you are on it.

Now what?

We regroup and battle our way
through those ruffians.

Yeah, 'cause it worked so well
the first time.

Too bad ghosts don't scare them.

Huh. What would trolls be afraid of?

They're afraid of... Hmm.

[all grunting]

[growls]

[both laughing]

[clears throat]

Hmm?

- Back for more, eh?
- My troll friends,

there's been a misunderstanding.
We must be on your list.

You see, heh, our ship was carrying...

the mythical Norse god of thunder.

- And lightning.
- And lightning.

[clears throat]

Who dares to stop me
from venturing through this cave?

I am the mighty god of thunder.

And lightning.

And lightning.

I...

am...

Thor!

I always pictured Thor
with more meat on his bones.

And I don't see any lightning.

[chuckles]

[groaning]

He's... He's the Odinson!

A thousand pardons, mighty Thor.

Now...
allow me and my friends to pass

to the mighty Tree
of "Yaggy-drag-izzle."

Bow lower.

[all] Wow!

- Huh? Ugh.
- [humming]

Aw, no.

Absolutely not.

[Leo] Yggdrasil.

It's real.

So, what do we know about this?

Just that its roots touch all points
in time and space simultaneously.

Oh, and there's something
about a guard dog.

[Leo] Yeah, but after
what we've been through,

who cares about some pooch?

[screams]

[whimpers]

[yells]

[all yell]

[all whimper]

There's something terrible behind me,
isn't there? [giggles]

[all] Uh-huh.

[Fenrir] What sort of meat are you
to come before me?

[Fenrir growling]

Decide amongst yourselves
who I'm to devour first.

[gasps] Ugh!

Ew.

[all screaming]

[roaring]

I think we found the guard dog.

I am Fenrir: Bringer of Ragnarok.

[yelling]

[Fenrir growling]

[all screaming]

[all screaming]

[roars]

Huh?

Hmm.

[grunts]

[grunts] Ow!

- [Don Andres yelps]
- [Alebrije] Hmm. [grunts]

[Leo yelps]

[Don Andres whimpers]

We're ghosts.

He can't hurt us.

[laughs]

I consume whole worlds.
I can eat anything.

[gasps]

Great Fenrir,
we have no quarrel with you.

We're looking for a weapon powerful enough
to defeat the serpent Quetzalcoatl.

Quetzalcoatl?

Then you are foes of my great rival?

Does this mean eating us
is off the table, so to speak?

No.

Uh... Leo, we should go.

Leo?

I know what it means.

There is a prophecy.

An old one.

Old as the World Tree itself.

Ay, uh... Ow!

"Only the lion can destroy the serpent."

Huh? Hmm?

You have the smell
of destiny on you, boy.

I know not what,

but you have a part to play
in what's to come.

I will let you pass.

- [all whoop]
- Yeah!

- Yes!
- Awesome!

[all cheer]

If you bring me Quetzalcoatl's Esfera.

"The sphere"?

What's that?

- It is the weapon you seek.
- Huh?

I would have claimed it long ago,

but my chains hold me.

Bring it to me and I will help you
bring down your serpent.

- Huh?
- A quest!

We'll do it!

[Leo yelps]

Fair warning:

[snorts]

Yggdrasil's roots reach all places,
all times.

Do not be tempted.

Choose your path wisely.

Bring me the Esfera
and we will be the best of friends.

[all yelling]

Where are we?

[voice echoing]

I think it's like the hub
of a wagon wheel

and all these windows are like the spokes,
taking us to different places.

Whoa!

[grunts]

Hmm.

Wow.

Ooh. What's that?

Oh! Uh...

That?

Uh, it's nothing.

Huh?

Leo, look.

Abuela!

Ohh...

[groans]

Hmm.

[Teodora screams, then Don Andres grunts]

Hey, guys? Where is Leo?

- Huh?
- Uh...

[Teodora] Leo?

[muttering]

[both muttering]

Go.

Abuela!

Abuela, I'm home.

Hmm.

She can't be at the market.
She left her onion satchel.

She has a special onion satchel?

That is so adorbs.

The street's crawling with Horrorosos.

Get to the monastery.
It's the most fortified building in...

We know...

[Leo] Quick and quiet.

Nobody home here either.

- Wait.
- As if.

Huh.

- What's going on around here?
- The place seems...

deserted.

Look.

Huh.

[gasps] Friar Godofredo?

[screams, then grunts]

[growls, then grunts]

[groans]

[Leo] Marcella.

We will drive you from this place.

[people brawling]

[snarls]

[Leo & Godofredo scream]

[people continue brawling]

Again.

Ow!

[yells]

Friar Godofredo.

My grandson is not this fat.

[Leo grunting]

This one's way too handsome
to be Leo.

- Uh, handsome?
- Leo?

It is really you.

[Godofredo laughs]

We were afraid it was another one
of Quetzalcoatl's tricks.

He send a version of you to get us
to lower our defenses.

Stupid thing.

[Godofredo laughs] Rosa. It's him.

Abuelita! It's so good to see you.

[Teodora grunts]

[Teodora punching Horroroso]

Let me at him.

Look at you. You're wasting away.

I missed you, too, Abuela.

But I don't understand.
Where is everybody?

We're all that's left.

I keep those of us remaining here
in the church.

- We have to get you out of here.
- Good luck with that.

Quetzalcoatl has this place
locked down pretty tight.

We're in Quetzalcoatl's realm?

How did you get here
without noticing that?

Fenrir sent us.

Fenrir?

The great wolf let you pass?

He said my only hope was
to find something called the "Esfera."

The Esfera is here? No.

- You must not let the wolf have it.
- Relax. We don't even know what it is.

No one does.

But it's his one vulnerability.

However,
if Fenrir destroys Quetzalcoatl,

he will just devour the world himself.

Oh. Before I forget,
I made this for your things.

There's a surprise in it for you, too.

- Ah, a legball.
- Now, come, Rosa.

Come, Marcella.

Back inside.

No, I can help.

There's a well in the plaza
older than the town.

Each day, two guard shifts
take turns watching it.

That would be my guess
for where your item is.

I just got you back.
I don't want to lose you again.

Then keep up.

[growls]

Excuse me.

Mm-hm.

[Leo giggles]

What is that for?

[gasps, then grunts]

[snarls]

[roaring]

Then keep up.

Ugh. Show-off.

Lower.

A bit lower.

I think I see something.

- So, anything down there?
- Huh?

I found something! Pull me up!

[both grunting]

- Ooh.
- I will feed on the Esfera now.

[Don Andres gasps]

[all yell]

That doesn't belong to you.

Give me the Esfera.

Everybody run!

Give it to me.

Never. [yells]

The Esfera!

We have no choice, Leo.

[Alebrije chuckling]

Alebrije. Shh!

What?

[yelps]

- We must find an exit.
- We better do it now.

Come on. This way.

[both gasp]

We have no exit.

[sighs]

I guess we could have used
the other portal.

[all] The other portal?

Yeah... that one.

sh**t.

[Teodora] Come on.

Come on.

Watch out.

Now give me the Esfera. We had a deal.

[groaning]

[all gasp]

- [screams]
- Marcella!

My Esfera, please.

Let me go.

Give us back Marcella
or the Esfera is dog food.

I will suck the soul from her body
right in front of you.

If you do,
Fenrir gets your special thing

and consumes the whole world.

That's kind of your thing, huh?
Dudes taking your jam.

I wouldn't put up with that if it was me.

[growls]

- Let me go.
- Marcella.

[laughing]

No!

I got you.

Alebrije!

[stammers]

Behind you!

Oh... [screams]

- [Leo] Hurry! Come on!
- [Alebrije] Leo!

- [Leo screams]
- [Don Andres] Stay away from my friends.

- [growls]
- Now, sit.

[roars]

Or not.

I didn't mean on me.

Fenrir!

You want the Esfera?
Come and get it.

Not bad for the girl
who's never chipped a nail.

Oh, for the love of lacquer.

Give it to me.

Alebrije!

Give it to me!

No!

Alebrije.

- No.
- No.

Alebrije.

[roaring]

[Leo yelps]

We're trapped.

Perhaps the lion does not defeat
the serpent after all.

Perhaps he only feeds the wolf.

- What now?
- Huh?

Follow me.

[both screaming]

[growling]
