struggles to get back on top.

Let's catch some fish.

Trying to get off the
dock here before these
Southern captains.

We got a good weather window.

Everyone's gonna
be going today.

There's big money to be had
and the quota's running out.

We wanna represent the North.

I mean we're here
to challenge them.

We're here to give them
a run for their money.

We wanna beat 'em.

You know, there's nothing
better than going fishing.

It's long hours, it's hard.

You know, it's 1:30
in the morning but I'm
happy, I'm excited.

I can't wait to see
what the day brings.

TJ: It's neck and
neck right now.

We're within one
fish of the lead.

Tomorrow could be our day
where we take the lead.

So, as much as we like
to get a good night's
sleep, we have to go.

Right now, the morale aboard
the boat is very high.

I mean, when it's said and
done, if we stay on pace
the way we've been going,

this will be our best season
yet in the Outer Banks.

The most important
thing is you gotta want
it, and we want it.

So that's the
difference this year.

You know, last year we
got smoked down here.

People talked crap about us.

We've got to go and prove to
ourselves most importantly
that we can handle it.

The pelicans are going.

about to break the horizon.

We're gonna get the bird out.

And there's a good
chance Hot Tuna, Pinwheel,

or even us on the Falcon
could take this whole thing.

So we're out here
earlier than anyone else
and we're here to win.

That's the last
obstacle before we got
to deal with the bar.

Two more obstacles and
we're home free on our way
to the fishing grounds.

DUFFY: It's shallow.

wave and landed and there was
no, no water there for us.

We rubbed the bottom.

It sucks.

We're lucky we
didn't ruin the boat.

This late in the
season, I can't afford
mistakes like that.

I mean, it's go time.

We're in third place.

If something like that
happened to the
Fishin' Frenzy,

it'd be their season,
over, done with.

Same thing with Doghouse.

Because we got a keel, you
know, we're in good shape.

But that just,
that's just sketchy.

The bar's constantly moving.

That's crazy.

BILLON: Ugh, Captain's
checking on us.

fort down while Greg's gone.

This might be our last
trip as trying to be the
Legends of the Fall

instead of the Boys of Summer
on this rig.

another adventure without
our fearless leader

after Greg injured his arm.

So hopefully he'll be
healed up then we can
get back to normal,

We're deep into the season
and the Fishin' Frenzy
is still in the lead

even with
Greg off the water.

It's a hard pill to swallow
to know that I'm trailing
behind Greg's mates.

I would feel devastated if
I lost this competition to a
couple deckhands and I'm not

gonna let that happen.

I mean, it's just fishing.

It ain't rocket science.

Look at all the other
dummies out here doing it.

I've caught a couple, so you
know it ain't that damn hard.

constantly pushing us back,

it'll be like the expressway.

We finally caught up,
got tight with him and
it pulled right out.

It was definitely

Now we're losing time
because we're not fishing.

you're pulling the hook

but at least you got a bite.

TJ: We've been in the
top three spots almost
the whole season.

This feels like our
season to take the title
home for the North,

but the Billon and Jay Express
on the Fishin' Frenzy have
already caught a fish today

and we've been coming up empty
the last couple of trips.

We've got to get something to
hang on the line before the
end of the day or we're at

risk of falling behind.

MIKE: It's not a good
feeling when a lot of
the boats, you know,

a couple of these guys
were getting their bites
at 8:00, 9:00, 8:00,



Even earlier than that and
they got fast boats, they're
back at the dock by 10:00.

And we're still
out here working.
