of research and development.
It took months and months
of working on projects
and getting things
to work right
to get to the point
where it works well enough
to do this.
And so it's, like,
by any measurement,
this is awesome.
And we didn't need
to repeat this over and over.
I know that in order
to break even
with the money
that I put into all the gear
to put the sailboat
dredge together.
I mean, I got to come up
with somewhere
around 50 ounces
to break even with that.
So I'm hoping that
I can really start
chipping away
on paying back
the money I put into this
and breaking even this fall,
I really do.
See how it weighs up.
So...
Hopefully
we have $2,000 an ounce.
It doesn't have to add up
to much to keep it going.
Yeah.
We're 0.87 ounces
for this one.
So that's like $1,500.
Still a lot of money.
Rome wasn't built in a day
and neither was nome.
I mean, this isn't
like a huge clean up
by any stretch
of the imagination
but we were only out there
for a couple of hours
and we still brought
some good gold in
before we got blown off.
If we get full days in
on that spot,
we're going to have
a k*ller summer.
Definitely proves to me
that the systems work
well enough
that we can shift
into just production mode
and do a bunch of dredging.
And I think there's probably
a lot of gold left
where we left that buoy.
And it'll add up fast
if we just grind on it
and try to get
a bunch of hours in
we got to get smelter.
