01x03 - Peebles' Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors!

Look at all my
sweet furry friends.

Hey, Mrs. Sykes, did
Mr. Jones get adopted?

Oh, sh**t.

I didn't even get a
chance to pet him goodbye.

Don't get too upset
there, Mr. Peebles.

Mr. Jones isn't gone. That little
sneaker just escaped his cage again.

Cat's a regular Houdini.

Only with a tail and
a lot more fur ball.

That cute little escape artist.

Come on, we better find him.

Come on, Mr. Jones.

Where're you?

Here Jonesy.

Mr. Jones, get out here.

Don't give me that face.

What's wrong with you?

Let's get you back in your cage.

Stop it. You're gonna
hurt Mr. Peebles' feelings.

Oh, something in here
has got him really spooked.

Uh-oh!

Huh?

Man, you are ugly.

Put poor Mr. Peebles
down, right now!

litter mixed with water

to this pool-sized fish tank

And the monster goes for a
swim in kitty litter quick sand.

Looks like we are ready.

Now, we just have to wait
for Shaggy and Scooby.

Or not. Here they come.

Guys, over here! Over here!

Hang on, guys!

You got to be kidding me.

First I get that green
slime in my mouth,

and now I'm
drowning in kitty litter?

This is just nasty.

Hey, I read about him.

He's Magilla Gorilla.

Uh-huh, uh-huh.

The first and only gorilla
ever for sale to the public.

But that was years ago.

Are you still living
in this pet store?

Well, we're gonna have
to do something about that.

But in the meantime,

let's see who this
monster really is.

Huh!

Mr. Peebles?

Uh... You got to be kidding me.

Is this all a sham?

Were you just pretending
to love all your little pets?

This is shameful. Just shameful.

You lucky I didn't
punch you in the kisser.

It all makes perfect sense.

There was never a
Professor Smythe.

It was Mr. Peebles all along.

And this crystallized substance

wasn't from the
reptile cages after all.

Nope. It's a by-product
from the crystallizing

of calcium carbonate
that Mr. Peebles did

to create the fake
egg shell and the crate.

But what about all
of the monster slime?

I can still taste it.

That was just nasty.

The monster slime was fake, too.

It was just your ordinary
slime from the fish tank filter.

That's why it had
that fishy smell.

Oh, good. Fish slime.

And here I thought it was
gonna be something gross.

I guess the only
unanswered question is why?

I did it all because
of that crazy ape.

Do you know what
it's done to my life?

He's been eating me out of
house and home for years.

So I hatched this game to
tank my pet shop business,

and Magilla Gorilla would
finally be someone else's problem.

Then, I could focus
on my real passion.

Short and small men's clothing.

And I would have
gotten away with it, too,

if it weren't for
you meddling kids

and Wanda Sykes!

And Magilla Gorilla!

Don't listen to him, Magilla.

He's just talking nonsense.

We love you.

Adoption Day was a huge success

thanks to you kooky
kids and Scooby Doo.

Oh, and Arnie, the new owner.

All the animals have found their
forever-homes just like should.

Well, Mrs. Sykes,

you're now the proud
adopter of Magilla Gorilla.

Uh-huh!

Jonesy!

Huh? Hmm?

You... You want Mr. Jones
to come live with us?

Ah! Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

Sure thing, Magilla.

Arnie, I need one more set of
pet adoption papers, if you please.

Thanks for everything, big guy.

We wouldn't have been able to
finish this mystery without you.

Scooby Doo, if you
ever change your mind

and want to let me adopt you,

door is always open.

Thanks, Wanda,

but I could never
leave my Shaggy.

He's my human forever and ever.

Scoobs gave up Wanda
Sykes for me twice.

Like, that's so beautiful.

Ooh.

Whatevs, it's cool.
