this is my lighthouse on the gillamat

every now and then we keepers have to

get everything ready for an important

inspection

now it's funny that no matter how hard

you try

somehow things never seem to go as

smoothly as planned

their bill we're finished all ship shape

everything is polished

we're ready for the inspector they say

this one's really strict and makes you

do homework if you don't lay out your

kit properly

just in time

this must be him now

morning we've come for a tour of the

lighthouse do hope it's not inconvenient

what will we do now

the lighthouse inspector is due at any

minute

bless my whale bone corset says i don't

panic

i'll roll across to the mainland to meet

the inspector before he sets off and

explain what's happened

so off i rushes

leaving ross and comedy alone in the

lighthouse

with a pack of wild tourists

we mustn't let them mess up the

lighthouse

this is our telescope we use it to tell

good morning i'm um i

know another tourist come in let me take

your box

but uh before the visitor could say any

more chromity took it to join the rest

of the party

keep going till you get to the service

well i must say my lads did the tourists

proud they showed them the gallery

how we lay out our kit for inspection

and all our maps and charts

in fact

ross and comedy were so busy

that they didn't notice the last

visitors slip away from the party

and this is where we keep the rockets

and blistering barnacles it's the

inspector

your tour was so interesting that i

didn't have time to introduce myself

i'm the chief inspector of lighthouses

but you weren't in uniform well you see

it was difficult to row from the village

all dressed up

so i took off my uniform and put it in

my suitcase to keep it dry

but what about your inspection

oh i've already done that

your tour showed me everything i needed

to see

i am very well pleased

that's when i arrived back from the

mainland

when i saw the inspector

well of course i feared the worst

this is the only shop in the gilly

cookies and what a shop it is

it sells everything from weather veins

to watercolors

this is miss shannon she's an artist

she came to our little village for the

summer and liked it so much that she

decided to stay

eddie stone sells her paintings to the

tourists

they can't get enough of them

morning miss shannon i've got some good

news for you i've sold another two of

your paintings now you can buy that

potter's wheel and kiln you always

wanted

i'd love to edit but i'd know where to

put them

uh

to make pots i'd need a proper

it's low tide so we're going down to the

beach to do some beach combing

hi that's really exciting you never know

what you're gonna find

i do lots of sand and seaweed

there'll be lots of useful things down

on the sand after the spring toys well

potter's wheel i'd have nowhere to put
