- And our second racer, you can count on him

to do what's right,

and he races at the speed of light.

I'm so glad you're here.

- Me too.

I'm just so excited to cheer for you and A.J. in the race.

- But wait, we can't start just yet

because to win a race this extreme,

you'll have to compete as a team.

You'll each race with a teammate.

And whichever team crosses the finish line first

wins the teamwork trophy.

I think I know the perfect teammate,

someone who's fast, and brave,

and never gives up.

- Ooh, look, the race starts in five seconds.

These volcanoes look like

they're about to erupt hot lava.

This lava's not gonna stop me.

We're gonna need a lot of energy

to launch over this lava.

We need a chain reaction!

A chain reaction is when the energy from one action

makes something else happen,

and then that makes something else happen.

[soft music]

Hmm. Check it out!

If we push that swing, it'll knock over that log.

Then the log will fall onto the seesaw,

and the seesaw will launch us over the lava.

[upbeat music]

Come on, let's try it.

Help me start the chain reaction.

Say chain reaction.

Chain reaction!

Yeah! It worked.

I made it over the lava.

But we need an even bigger chain reaction

to get past this lava.

Let's see.

If we roll that barrel, it'll knock over the boxes.

Then the boxes will hit the catapult,

and the catapult will launch us over the lava!

To start the chain reaction, say chain reaction.

All right, we just need one more chain reaction,

a chain reaction with the most energy yet.

If we turn on the faucet, it'll sh**t water.

The water will knock a coconut out of the tree.

The coconut will turn on the rocket,

and the rocket will fly us over the lava.

We're almost to the bottom of the hill.

We just have to get past

the biggest hammer plants yet!

[gasps] It's Blaze and A.J.

We've almost caught up with them.

we're gonna win that teamwork trophy,

so long as we don't stop for any--

- Get your sodas here. Best sodas in the jungle!

- [grunting]

We're supposed to be in a race.

- Well, what better way to race

But pressing it's not gonna be easy.

The bye-bye copter keeps flying higher and higher.

I need to launch myself super high,

so I can press the off button.

I need a chain reaction.

Let's see.

A geyser could start the chain reaction

and make something roll down the hill.

Hmm, we could use a bowling ball or a hammer.

Which one will roll, the bowling ball or the hammer?

The bowling ball, right!

[upbeat music]

Okay, so the bowling ball will roll.

Then, it can bump into a machine and turn it on,

a machine that blows air.

I found a flashlight and a fan.

Which one will blow air,

the flashlight or the fan?

The fan, yeah!

The fan will blow air, and then the air

can make something float up into the sky.

Check it out. There's a pillow and a kite.

Which one can float in the sky, the pillow or the kite?

The kite, yeah!

That's it.

The geyser will launch the bowling ball

and turn on the fan,

and then the fan will blow the kite up into the air.

That's our chain reaction!
