01x16 - The wolf

Connie had set out from her house early

in the morning she was looking forward

to playing with her

friends she strolled happily through the

woods and

Fields until she came to where a flock

of sheep were grazing good morning sheep

hello hello hello Connie how nice to see

you Connie was very happy to see her

friend Maddie the lamb hello there

Maddie just then the sheep dog appeared

barking very

[Music]

[Applause]

loudly why was the sheep dog

barking of course it was because he'd

seen a wolf

[Music]

hey Mr Wolf you're not coming near my

sheep a wolf he's come to get us the

wolf who was really very nice couldn't

understand why the Sheep were upset ah

hide mie don't let the wolfes see you

Connie didn't understand why the Sheep

were running

away go away Maddie peeped out to look

at the wolf yeah that wolf doesn't look

very

nice who's off Mr Wolf

W hello sheep how do you do would anyone

like to come and play with me they were

sure that the wolf was up to no good and

they ran away as fast as their Hooves

would carry

[Music]

them the wolf didn't understand why the

little sheep didn't want to play with

him and sadly he went on his

way oh poor little wolf thought Connie

[Music]

not long afterwards Connie was playing

with a

ball when all of a sudden the wolf

appeared oh dear it's the wolf again

don't be frightened there I don't mean

you any harm But Connie wasn't sure and

started to back away oh dear do watch

where you're going or you'll get spiked

by that

Cactus Connie turned around and saw that

the wolf was telling the

truth thank you for warning me Mr Wolf

and Connie realized that the wolf was a

good wolf after

all I'm going to go and play in the

woods do you want to come

[Music]

too as they were walking through the

woods the wolf told Connie that he was

sad because he was all on his

own nobody wants to be my friend because

they all think I'm bad but I'm not

there's no need to be sad I'll be your

friend the wolf was very happy to have

found a

friend oh then suddenly it began to rain

oh I think we'd better find somewhere to

shelter so we don't get wet

good the rain was falling harder and

harder and the animals were rushing

around looking for a place to keep

[Music]

dry the pig family found a nice dry cave

to shelter in it's great we won't get

wet in here meanwhile Connie and the

Wolf were still looking for a place to

shelter oh look it's Maddie the lamb and

she's all on her

own during the storm Maddie had become

separated from her mommy and daddy and

now she was all on her own and shivering

with cold that poor little lamb I'm

going to help

[Music]

her meanwhile the sheep dog and the rest

of the flock were Sheltering in a cave

pH what a

storm just then Maddie's mommy and daddy

appeared has anybody seen our little

daughter no I haven't seen her anywhere

we lost sight of her when the rain

started and we haven't seen her SS oh

poor little Lampkin she's all on her

own look over there it's Maddy

underneath that

[Music]

tree it's our daughter it's the wolf and

he's going to get her when Maddie saw

the wolf she started to back

away hey little lamb there's no need to

be frightened I'm going to take you back

to your mommy and daddy

the wolf picked up the little lamb to

carry her right at that moment the tree

was struck by lightning but thanks to

the wolf the little lamb was safe the

lamb and her mommy and daddy were very

happy to be back together

again thank you for saving our darling

daughter and we're very sorry for

thinking that you were a Bad Wolf The

Wolf smiled happily to himself and from

all around the animals that had run away

from him came to meet him and make

friends he knew that he would never be

lonely again and he felt very happy

indeed I love happy

endings that night Connie thought that

things aren't always what they seem if

someone has a good heart it doesn't

matter what they look like sweet dreams
